Hey everybody, I slipped up and found a beautiful BLACK OWNED pizza bar in Stone Mountain. Now, I don't venture out in decatur too often. But today I'm glad I did. I caught them right at opening time. Which made me a little hesitant to come in fearing they wouldn't be ready. But by golly they where. We where greeted nicely by Ms. Ky. After letting Ms. Ky know this is our first time here. She gave some great pizza and cocktail recommendations. We chose the Fill me up small pizza, the drizzle of hot honey took the pizza to another level, fried green tomatoes and the Eastside Colada. Everything was delicious. Not to mention the Eastside Colada with ginger was amazing. Ms. Ky did her thang with perfecting that cocktail. Overall my grandson andcI experience was amazing. I truly recommend.

    Shrimp scampi pizza

First when we arrived and sat down we had to review the menu through a QR code. Instead have real menus. Secondly my husband to go and tell the server that we were ready to order. The calamari was good. My shrimp scampi pizza was good, along with the CasaMigos Spritzer. But as we waited for over 30 minutes for my husband's chicken parmigiana, the order never came. We addressed it with the server but his food never came! We asked to remove it from our bill! But here comes the kicker, this place adds an 18% gratuity for dining in and it was two people! We Must Stop Price Gouging and trying to get over on each other! We will not return! Food is ok but it isn't worth the over pricing! Nuts!

Had a taste for calamari and pizza, so I decided to check this spot out. It's kind of tucked off in the cut, but not hard to find with a trusted GPS. Ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was cooked to perfection; well seasoned with a taste of rosemary for the finish. Next was the Fill Me Up pizza which included bacon, sausage, beef pepperoni, chicken, honey hot drizzle, and marinara infused with habanero bacon jam. I added spinach+onions+roasted garlic. Pizza was good, with a light airy dough. Two slices had me full(small comes with 6 slices). Overall the service okay, and they do charge an automatic 18% gratuity on all orders. Nice selection of spirits and they have beer on tap. Not a lot of seating inside, but they also have outdoor seating. Btw, I sat at the bar...

I have been wanting to go here for a while now and finally made it for Friendsgiving with my squad. It was worth it and I'll def be back. It was 5 of us but we just ordered a bunch of stuff and put on the table to share like we always do. Appetizers: risotto balls, garlic knots and hot honey lemon pepper wings. All were delicious! I would order each again but those wings with the sauce and crisp on the outside were superb. The garlic knots were amazing as well. Plenty of garlic and cheese, fresh baked and not too doughy. Pizzas: Beehive, Shrimp Scampi, Eastside and Fill me Up Beehive was the crowd favorite for sure. It was a delicious combination of flavors. Shrimp scampi was also really tasty. Easy side was good but we didn't care for the fill me up at the table personally. It was a switch for where's the buns that they were out of. Drinks: We had blood orange ginger gin, naked and famous and no name. The fellas at the table just had standard mixed drinks. Drinks were tasty and generous. I won't hold anything against the service bc it seemed like she was alone. Get her some help on a Saturday night! The crowd was consistent and needed more than just the one. The music was cool on and off. The aux seemed to be all over the place but so is my music tastes so I enjoyed. Cool neighborhood spot and I'll be back!

I have been wanting to try this place ever since I found out they have oxtail pizza. I love oxtail anything! So I came one Sunday after church and got there as soon as the doors open. The café is really nice. It is kind of small so if you have a large party, you may want to try to reserve in advance. Even though it's small, there is plenty of seating from booths, to a table, and even you want something more intimate, they have smaller tables for two people to sit. There is outdoor seating or you can sit at the bar. As soon as I walked in the door, Keith, my bartender, greeted me, I sat at the bar, and he immediately brought me a menu. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer, a personal oxtail pizza, and tried to order the Pour Decision drink but Keith told me that drink is for two people. I ordered the Casamigo Spritz instead. After placing my order I went to I went to use the restroom. The restroom was clean, but I would have hoped so since they had just opened and I really love the wallpaper. They had two unisex bathrooms so if one is occupied, you can use the other one. As soon as I came out the restroom, Keith had just sat my drink and calamari down. I did not expect the food to come out that quick. The calamari was nice and hot! I tried eating it with my hands and dip it in the sauce that came with it, but the batter kept falling apart, so I ended up using a fork. The Casamigo spritz drink was really refreshing. It's like something that you would drink on a beach. As soon as I finished up the calamari, the oxtail pizza came out...no time wasted. Y'all, I don't know why but I expected it to have more meat on the pizza but I should've known better because of the price of oxtails. But I like that they make sure to include meat on each slice and for the pizza not to have a lot of meat that pizza was SO GOOD OMG!!! I was pleasantly surprised and ate the entire thing. No doggie bag here! If I were to order this pizza again, I would add additional meat toppings. I finished my drink and I wanted to get another one because I really didn't feel a buzz at the time. I wanted to try something different so I ordered the Pomodoro Margarita. As soon as Keith put the drink down, I started feeling a buzz. The first drink had snuck up on me. The margarita was really good. It took me a minute to finish it because I was buzzing. I would definitely order it again, but next time with no salt. Those drinks had me feeling good feeling great and I had to sit in my car for a minute and think about some things. For two drinks, an appetizer, and a personal pizza , the total came to $86. They automatically include an 18% gratuity. All in all, this is dope spot and I will definitely be back. The food was great and the service was outstanding! Looking forward to trying the other pizza flavors.

We came here as soon as they opened before the crowd. The service was great and attentive Food: 10 out of 10. Our bill was about $80 for 2 drinks, appetizer and large pizza. The calamari was not your typical premade frozen calamari, this was freshly battered in house. The pizza was similar to a meat lover's pizza with honey drizzled on top. Add some red pepper flakes and you have yourself the perfect pizza! And I could appreciate the fact that the drinks were stronger than other places. Parking. Easy and free. I can appreciate that this establishment is not price gouging, has good food and even better customer service. We will definitely come back, especially during happy hour. Next visit I'll get the margarita tower!

Shrimp Scampi pizza was the BEST!! I was also impressed with the Oxtail pizza, but it was a little too spicy for me. Even the pizza crust was awesome! I can't wait to try some of their other plates. It's a small restaurant, but very clean. They even have a "Content Creator's Corner" just outside the door. I felt like it was in a tucked away area, but it on a very busy street. The only thing I didn't like was that they charged 18% for gratuity, but I loved it anyway and will DEFINITELY be going back!

This is a must visit. The oxtail pizza was fire. They had so many options of pizzas to choose from but the oxtail one kept on calling my name. I am glad I listened because it was so good. It was my first time eating oxtail too so what a way to be introduced to it. The pairing was perfect. The friend green tomatoes were good too I just wish they were a little sweeter. I am not happy that I cant remember the names of the drinks but I can say that was the night I fell in love with Empress Indigo gin. Both drinks were very tasty. This visit was early March and I have slept alot since then. I would definitely recommend visiting this spot. 5/5 I had to come back and add on this review because I forgot about the fire butter pecan cheesecake that I ordered to go. The cheesecake was smooth and was flavorful. I ended up eating in three sitting because I didn't want the experience to end.

PSA: I just found your new go-to spot for elevated vibes and irresistible eats--F1F4 Pizza Bar in Stone Mountain! From the first bite to the last sip, I was completely hooked. I absolutely lovedtheir fast and friendly service. Here's what you need to order: Garlic Rolls: Smothered in buttery garlic goodness, topped with herbs and Parmesan, served with marinara for the ultimate dunk. Risotto Balls: Dreamy, cheesy perfection with three kinds of cheese and a pesto base that makes every bite unforgettable. Fried Calamari: Crispy golden rings paired with a tangy lemon aioli that had me licking my fingers. Wings: The flavor lineup is ! My faves are honey hot lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan. Pizza: Trust me, you'll be obsessed with the F1F4 Reds Pizza--braised oxtail + mozzarella + pepadew is chef's kiss. This month's Whites Pizza (Surf & Turf) is pure magic with steak, scallops, potato chips, and cherry tomatoes. And if you're a cocktail lover like me, don't miss: No Name: Light and refreshing with cucumber mint vodka, elderflower, and a hint of strawberry rhubarb. Casamigos Spritz: Reposado, Aperol, and Prosecco = perfection in a glass.

So, we made the visit for a girls night but there was nothing nostalgic about the experience. The place was majority empty. We assumed it was because we arrived early, 7:30ish closer to 8. However my experience leads me to think differently. Upon entry we were greeted and seated. The menus were already laid on the table waiting for us. So, needless to say there was little to nothing for the host to greet you with or for; table presentation was NOT there. No cups napkins, condiments, eating utensils nothing! We got into the menus -ordered Soul Rolls, a Crab Cake, and 2-orders of wings for appetizers. The soul rolls were overcooked, the yams none existent, and the Macaroni was dry. The crab crake had a fishy taste to it and 1 order of wings was undercooked (per order request) the other was good. When we asked for the wings to be re-made they just throw the wings back in the grease and re-served them. Our MEALS: 2- Rasta Pastas, the yard man snapper, and the jalapeño burger. We had to ask for eating utensils 2x's and after about and 5 more minutes we got them. The Fish was okay but for what it cost (w/ gratuity) and tasted like -wasted money!!! The Rasta pasta was only Alfredo no peppers, cajun season or onions. I guess the burger was decent. We all ordered drinks - lemon drop flight, 4-24 k gold drinks, white wine sangria, and another lemon drop. The drink were meh - the lemon drop flight came w/ ice. My friend wanted a second sangria but couldn't order b/c they ran out of wine and I got a head ache after I drank the two 24ks. Then it came down to paying! Now I thought I was doing good on my balance but I got swindled. First off she had me pay my tab BEFORE she showed me my itemized receipt which include an auto 18% gratuity for 4 people (not worthy) service was SLOW and bad! Not to mention they charged a $2 difference on my drinks. The menu had $16 but I was charged $18 for both. Make them show your receipt ahead of payment. B/c we tipped on top of the gratuity that was included in our bill but weren't informed the tip was already included. The interior was nice, I liked the booth seating and decor. I really liked the fireplace setting. It gave a warm cozy feel. The music was a slight vibe once the drinks kicked in that's it. Advice- Don't believe content creators b/c they have special treatment!

I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

We walked around and finally ran into a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wished inside or outside. The only area festive was inside a closed igloo and no heaters were on outdoors which was just a tad too cool for me despite the super nice weather that day. It would have been so to sit outside but without the warmth of the heaters we headed inside. We placed our order and explained we were just there for a pre-dinner drink and wanted to check out the venue so we didn't leave our tab open but we were quickly served the fabulous taking drinks on their menu(s). The Old Fashioned was on the regular menu and the Russian was on their seasonal tabletop menu. Server was very nice and took photos for some ladies we met. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star is they claim they are big on hospitality but yet we were not acknowledged upon arrival. Many restaurants and even some retail stores have a way to ensure they say hello/welcome immediately when you enter and without a hostess - the mindset should be that the bar or wait staff have a way to immediately say hello or welcome so those who have never been feel welcomed as well as those who frequently come. It would be nice to have a more festive decor for the holidays but that didn't affect my review; just a statement to say that the entire Sugar Hill area was pumping and themed with the holiday spirit then we walked in the only area decorated was not even accessible nor was it offered as an option to enjoy.

We visited Voss Lounge on Wednesday, April 1, excited for happy hour after seeing their Instagram flyer advertising $5 drinks, small apps, and hookah. Well...that's not exactly what we got. Once we arrived, we were told those $5 specials were actually for Tuesdays--not Wednesdays--and that detail was not clear on Instagram. I was told it was listed on their website, but let's be real...this is 2026--people are checking IG and TikTok, not websites. If you're promoting on social media, it needs to be accurate. We got there around 4:15 PM (happy hour starts at 4), and the place was empty--music wasn't even on yet. My party of four was seated right away, and we ordered drinks, food, and hookah. The lounge itself was beautiful--decked out in red and black with a really nice vibe. I had lemon drops and wings--both were actually really good. No complaints on the food or drink at all. But just know, the wings were not $5 since that special didn't apply that day. Now...the hookah experience? A complete mess. The hookah wasn't $5 either--it was $25 if I recall correctly. The hookah attendant recommended a flavor that was honestly not good at all. When we told her we didn't like it and asked to switch flavors (which we were willing to pay for), she tried to make us purchase a refill instead of simply fixing the issue. We asked to speak to a manager. She went to the back and spoke with someone who I later found out was the owner--but he never came out to address us. That alone didn't sit right with me. Instead, she came back, grabbed the hookah, and walked off. No explanation, no replacement--nothing. It felt like, "We won't charge you, but you're also not getting another one." That whole situation completely turned us off. Now I will give credit where it's due--our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Friendly, attentive, and she did her best to take care of us. But overall, between the misleading Instagram promotion, the poor hookah experience, and the lack of management presence...this just wasn't it for me. Giving Voss 2/5 for good food, a beautiful space, and a great waitress Everything else? Needs work. Unfortunately, I won't be back!

There were some drink specials and while I did not partake, I could see from the bar that there was a large selection of liquor and those who did order drinks said that they were pretty good. The menu We had a large party and while our waitress, Sally, was amazing but for a large party there should have been a bit more help besides her and one other waitress handling the other half of the group to help move service along. There were times were drink and food orders never showed but once we let them know items were missing, they apologized and would be back shortly with the items. I had the smash nachos and added shrimp. While it's considered and app the portion size was huge! I couldn't finish it and took it home to enjoy the next day which reheated well in the air fryer lol! The nachos were reallllly good and there was nothing lacking in terms of ingredients. My husband got the loaded shrimp quesadilla and he loved it. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and several folks talked about how good their margaritas were. I'd definitely come back here if I'm in the area and try some other items on their menu especially because there are other items that looked pretty tasty!

It's a walk up window spot with the menu and a bell, when you're ready to order, ring the bell. The service is friendly and succinct. Non invasive and just helpful without asking when needed. The seating area is a mix between covered and uncovered, with a small speaker playing contemporary tunes at a respectable level. There are string lights above, and I can only imagine how beautiful this all looks at night. I'd read a LOT about their fish sandwich. That it is a good size helping. That it has a great light fresh vinegar sauce with thinly sliced carrots and other crunchy veg. The fish tasted fresh fried. And I have to say, this is the Best fish sandwich I have ever tasted. I only am upset I hadn't come much sooner. I will have to return, probably on a monthly basis for that fish sandwich. There are enough pictures out there of the sandwich. But I also had the Thai basil lemonade and it was a nice pairing. Not a waste of time, effort or dough. Just go.

We bring friends here, and one friend in particular is so obsessed that he was dreaming of their food when he was on a film shoot out of state, and could not wait to get back. You order at the window, and can take it away or eat outside. The place feels like a party when the weather is good. I don't think it is possible to order badly: the owners keep the menu tight, and everything is SO FRESH. When they run out, that's it. (The curried carrot soup will go fast, I've found.) My husband usually gets the vietnamese fried fish sandwich which is delectable with lots of flavor and texture. We rarely eat meat, but I have made an exception to try the Moroccan lamb burger which was worth it. I usually spring for the upgrade to get crispy smashed potatoes instead of chips. And it's worth noting that the drinks are also well above average: I've enjoyed the indulgence of a Bravassi hard Italian soda with my meal on a lazy afternoon, after shopping at the Second Life thrift store. Their drinks are very good, and they serve them up straightaway to savor while you wait for your order to come up. I have not yet ordered a salad but they have an array of excellent / choices, and I know they will not disappoint. I also want to note that although there is not waiter service (which makes it an ideal spot to meet friends) the staff is friendly, and well above average. It's such a great vibe, and a real bonus of living in the area. They also serve breakfast, and I feel confident in their level of quality in recommending them as a stop for anyone.
