It been a while since I've been here but I definitely was in the mood for some great pizza. After some convincing, my mother and I landed here. We order the shrimp scampi and pepperoni pizzas, risotto balls, and honey hot lemon pepper wings with blue cheese. I dont eat beef but my mother said the pepperoni pizza was good. As for the scampi pizza, it was amazing. The crust had great chew, the sauce held together well with the cheese and the shrimp were flavorful all on their own. It was truly a highlight. The wings were pretty good. Cooked how I like them, the wing sauce blended well and the wing size was great FOR ME! The risotto balls kind of fell flat. The breading was too bland. I had to eat the inside separately to appreciate the flavors. The saving grace was the homemade marinara sauce. That itself could have been served on a spoon. Hey everybody, I slipped up and found a beautiful BLACK OWNED pizza bar in Stone Mountain. Now, I don't venture out in decatur too often. But today I'm glad I did. I caught them right at opening time. Which made me a little hesitant to come in fearing they wouldn't be ready. But by golly they where. We where greeted nicely by Ms. Ky. After letting Ms. Ky know this is our first time here. She gave some great pizza and cocktail recommendations. We chose the Fill me up small pizza, the drizzle of hot honey took the pizza to another level, fried green tomatoes and the Eastside Colada. Everything was delicious. I keep trying to "make fetch happen" with this place, and it's just not. This is I think my 3rd and final time. Went when they opened a few years ago because the location is great for me. My friend and I did not receive good service and the food was average at best. I went again with a group last year and the service was better, but the food was regular and not worth the price. They have all these cool pizzas but they fall flat every time. This last visit, I was already on a date in the complex at Smash Taco, which is amazing. After leaving Smash, we were headed to my friend's game night and decided to order a pizza to carry over there. While waiting for the pizza, the bartender from Smash came in to F1F4 to take a bottle of alcohol like he owned the place. Could just be good neighbors or same ownership. I found that interesting. I ordered half oxtail (F1F4), and half margarita. 1st of all, you can see from my picture how they cheated us on the oxtails. It's 90% margarita pizza lol. It was $23 for a small! I specifically asked the girl to make sure that my crust was fluffy and not burnt because they advertise fluffy hand toss crust but when you get it, it may as well be flat bread pizza everytime. She assured me it would be as requested. It was not. There are so many pizza spots all over. There is no reason to support this place. I can say with confidence every single time I've been here it's always dead. Most people do orders to go. Which brings me to my next point. If you are going to come here to try it, make sure you call ahead and order ahead of time. We went in there and sat and waited 20 minutes when there was nobody in there for real, for a small pizza. Omg so yea I loved everything about this place! This is definitely a gem in Stone Mountain! It's a nice clean open space with indoor and outdoor seating. I wish I could remember the bartenders name but she was very sweet and the drinks were bomb! I got a couple things from the menu and everything hit! Even got a second round of wings! I know it's a pizza spot but if you go you have to get the calamari. It was so good! I wanted to get the lasagna to go but they sold the last piece so I will be back for that! Had a taste for calamari and pizza, so I decided to check this spot out. It's kind of tucked off in the cut, but not hard to find with a trusted GPS. Ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was cooked to perfection; well seasoned with a taste of rosemary for the finish. Next was the Fill Me Up pizza which included bacon, sausage, beef pepperoni, chicken, honey hot drizzle, and marinara infused with habanero bacon jam. I added spinach+onions+roasted garlic. I have been wanting to go here for a while now and finally made it for Friendsgiving with my squad. It was worth it and I'll def be back. It was 5 of us but we just ordered a bunch of stuff and put on the table to share like we always do. Appetizers: risotto balls, garlic knots and hot honey lemon pepper wings. All were delicious! I would order each again but those wings with the sauce and crisp on the outside were superb. The garlic knots were amazing as well. Plenty of garlic and cheese, fresh baked and not too doughy. Pizzas: Beehive, Shrimp Scampi, Eastside and Fill me Up Beehive was the crowd favorite for sure. It was a delicious combination of flavors. Shrimp scampi was also really tasty. Easy side was good but we didn't care for the fill me up at the table personally. It was a switch for where's the buns that they were out of. I have been wanting to try this place ever since I found out they have oxtail pizza. I love oxtail anything! So I came one Sunday after church and got there as soon as the doors open. The café is really nice. It is kind of small so if you have a large party, you may want to try to reserve in advance. Even though it's small, there is plenty of seating from booths, to a table, and even you want something more intimate, they have smaller tables for two people to sit. There is outdoor seating or you can sit at the bar. As soon as I walked in the door, Keith, my bartender, greeted me, I sat at the bar, and he immediately brought me a menu. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer, a personal oxtail pizza, and tried to order the Pour Decision drink but Keith told me that drink is for two people. I ordered the Casamigo Spritz instead. After placing my order I went to I went to use the restroom. The restroom was clean, but I would have hoped so since they had just opened and I really love the wallpaper. They had two unisex bathrooms so if one is occupied, you can use the other one. As soon as I came out the restroom, Keith had just sat my drink and calamari down. I did not expect the food to come out that quick. The calamari was nice and hot! I tried eating it with my hands and dip it in the sauce that came with it, but the batter kept falling apart, so I ended up using a fork. The Casamigo spritz drink was really refreshing. It's like something that you would drink on a beach. As soon as I finished up the calamari, the oxtail pizza came out...no time wasted. Y'all, I don't know why but I expected it to have more meat on the pizza but I should've known better because of the price of oxtails. But I like that they make sure to include meat on each slice and for the pizza not to have a lot of meat that pizza was SO GOOD OMG!!! I was pleasantly surprised and ate the entire thing. No doggie bag here! If I were to order this pizza again, I would add additional meat toppings. I finished my drink and I wanted to get another one because I really didn't feel a buzz at the time. I wanted to try something different so I ordered the Pomodoro Margarita. As soon as Keith put the drink down, I started feeling a buzz. The first drink had snuck up on me. The margarita was really good. It took me a minute to finish it because I was buzzing. I would definitely order it again, but next time with no salt. Those drinks had me feeling good feeling great and I had to sit in my car for a minute and think about some things. For two drinks, an appetizer, and a personal pizza , the total came to $86. We came here as soon as they opened before the crowd. The service was great and attentive Food: 10 out of 10. Our bill was about $80 for 2 drinks, appetizer and large pizza. The calamari was not your typical premade frozen calamari, this was freshly battered in house. The pizza was similar to a meat lover's pizza with honey drizzled on top. Add some red pepper flakes and you have yourself the perfect pizza! And I could appreciate the fact that the drinks were stronger than other places. Parking. Easy and free. I can appreciate that this establishment is not price gouging, has good food and even better customer service. We will definitely come back, especially during happy hour. My family came here after a rain storm on Saturday around 5 pm so we opted to eat inside even though the outside seating looked pleasant. We ordered the rosemary fries which have good flavor but my kids thought they were a little soggy. But they still gobbled them up and dipped it into the sauce of your choice (I picked hot honey). We shared a large margarita pizza which was filling as well as a small oxtail pizza which was unique! My son ordered a steak sandwich with a Caeser salad (usually comes with fries but we already ate fries as an appetizer). He found the steak to be challenging to eat without using his knife. But he did like the sandwich. I think the bartender also has to wait the tables so we did have to wait a few minutes before she brought our water and took our order. This is a must visit. The oxtail pizza was fire. They had so many options of pizzas to choose from but the oxtail one kept on calling my name. I am glad I listened because it was so good. It was my first time eating oxtail too so what a way to be introduced to it. The pairing was perfect. The friend green tomatoes were good too I just wish they were a little sweeter. I am not happy that I cant remember the names of the drinks but I can say that was the night I fell in love with Empress Indigo gin. Both drinks were very tasty. This visit was early March and I have slept alot since then. Let's talk about it...F1F4 (red sauce) has Slow braised oxtails, shredded and topped with mozzarella and pepadew peppers. That oxtail was so tender it put some Caribbean spots to shame! The peppers were cut small, perfect amount of onions. Each bite was a dance. The Shrimp Scampi (white sauce) - Cajun shrimp, mozzarella, Parmesan and garlic butter topped with fresh herbs. I was nervous that the shrimp would be over cooked but that thang was buttery and seasoned just right! So yum! They also have beef sausage instead of pepperoni, I'll be exploring that next. So I have to say parking can be challenging because this pizza spot is located in a small shopping area but don't let that discourage you because the food is delicious! Service started out rocky it appeared they only had one server she told us as we were walking in the door it would be 45 mins before she could take our order We were like ahhh ok ‍ she told us we could sit anywhere so we sat down and patiently waited.
