Out of all the pizzas, my absolute favorites were the Lemon Pepper Wet pizza and the Caesar Salad pizza. Both were super flavorful, creative, and honestly unlike anything I've had before. I originally came for the Oyster Rockefeller pizza, but it was sold out. However, the owner was incredibly nice and accommodating, so we decided to try the Wet Lemon Pepper pizza along with a classic Pepperoni. I love lemon and lemon pepper wings, so that pizza was right up my alley! My boyfriend isn't usually a fan of lemon pepper, but he still enjoyed a slice and said it was good. Cons: - The menu prices might be inaccurate. For example, I paid $2 for a topping of Pepperoni even though the menu priced it at $1. Manager says they are "working to fix some things." Since they just opened I gave them grace. - Extra 4% charge if you pay by card (you can avoid this by paying in cash). - Cashier could be more helpful. Sidenote: - I love the cute box for my slice of pizza but for their sake, I hope they switch to something more economical like paper plates and foil for single slice and dine-in orders. Start was a bit questionable since the food truck took a while to set up but wait was well worth it as the crust/dough was one of the best I've had in Atlanta! This is coming from someone that doesn't even like crust! Love their unique menu and their most popular lemon pepper is so so good! It's buttery, tangy/lemony, and pillowy! This was a first time visit for my family and I to the Atlanta Municipal Market (where Phew's Pies is located). Parking is located on the side of the market and is free for two hours. We ordered the lemon pepper pizza. It was delish! It also tasted light so we didn't feel guilty after eating it. We will definitely order again on our next visit. read more

I love Phew's Pies! I first came across him in the summer of 2020 when you had to pull up to his house! Good times! I ordered that pizza no less than 7 times that summer, I got all of my friends to try and they could back it up that the pizza was amazing! I met Phew a few times and he was always a smiling delight, I loved seeing how he thought outside the box on one of my favorite foods! The pizzas were always done when he said they would be. I recently had another lemon pepper pizza last summer at a party my friend was DJ'ing and I can tell you the pizza is still amazing! The pizzas were delicious especially the lemon pepper wet! But $25 for a 12" pizza will not keep me buying again. That price is outrageous. The best pizza places in the city charge less than that for a large. I would order again if they get the prices to a much more reasonable rate. A Hidden Gem in the Municipal Market! Today I had the pleasure of visiting Phew's Pies in the Municipal Market in Atlanta, and wow, what a gem!!! I was blessed enough to be served by the owner himself. He was kind, personable, and just had such a cool, welcoming vibe. I had already placed an order at another vendor when my sons called me over to the pizza spot. Since I'd committed to the other place, I told the owner I couldn't order anything just yet, and to my surprise, he gave me a slice on the house just to try. And let me tell you... it was AMAZING. Unfortunately, the food I picked up from the other vendor was a huge letdown. I didn't enjoy it at all. So I did what any hungry, pizza-loving person would do: I went back to Phew's. The second time around, I ordered for real, and it did not disappoint. The pizza was phenomenal, and the entire staff was warm and welcoming. When I tell you I savored this pizza, crust and all...the flavors were absolutely heavenly and the texture of the crust was incredible. He got a Lemon Pepper Wet pizza, a Sausage pizza and dessert pizza (S'Mores pizza). I don't eat lemon pepper wings, so I didn't even waste my calories by trying the Lemon Pepper wet pizza, but I did have a slice of the Sausage pizza. It was pretty good. The crust was a little tough and it could have used a bit more sausage, but you could tell the toppings were fresh and the sauce tasted homemade. J & his kids loved the Lemon Pepper wet but said they were expecting it to be 'different.' I think they expected more chunks of pieces of shredded chicken versus the wings and lemon wedges sitting on top of the pizza. J's daughter said she liked it but thought it was a little salty. I didn't try the dessert pizza, but everyone else said it was pretty good - just very rich. Most of it was still in the downstairs fridge three days later. It looked delicious though. If I went back, I'd like to try the Jive Turkey and Margherita pizza - or possibly the Supreme. I definitely think you should give 'em a try! *According to the AJC, it's virtual pizzeria five nights a week, online orders only and a Tuesday pop-up at Boggs Social & Supply. Tonight I was at a Trap Sushi event and owner of Phew's Pies was there as a vendor. I purchased a lemon pepper pizza. Normally I raved about these pizzas especially the ox tail pizza. Today the preparer was so rude. The pizza took an extreme long time to be prepared. The pizza had no sauce and the bottom of the pizza was burned from the high temperature and not cleaning of the oven's surface. In the website the pizza had a few lemon pepper wings in the pizza. My had a few maybe ten tiny chopped pieces of chicken on the pizza with lemon pepper seasoning. This had to add hot sauce to the pizza just to have the tomato sauce or some kind of flavor. I do not mind paying for quality but this particular time my pizza purchase was a waste of money. Being a vendor is a choice. I understand there are hiccups but don't punish yo customers.
