Solid and affordable NY style pizza spot in downtown! Walked to here from Centennial Park and enjoyed the quick bite. There's not much seating inside, so most people were taking it to-go. Pizza comes out HOT - wished the crust was a little firmer, especially towards the tip of the pizza because it was quite flimsy, but definitely hits the spot. They have other things besides pizza, like calzones and lasagna.

    Inside. Busy!

Legit, substantial slices of pizza, covered in respectable amounts of pepperoni. Kind of a local hole in the wall joint, just a few seats, seemed like a lot of to-go-- but service is just fast enough to be considered quick. If you are expecting the best in New York quality, maybe this isn't it, but for a local place, this is damned good.

spaghetti with meatballs and side salad

Overall I would rate this place 2/10. I placed an order online, it said it will be ready 20 minutes later. So I arrived 20 minutes later and ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes for my food. All I ordered was spaghetti and a drink!Over 20 customers came in and got their food before I was even acknowledged. As I finally get to eat my food it tastes like nothing.. literally nothing!! The noodles, the sauce, the meatballs, and the bread had no flavor. Honestly the only good thing about this was the drink. The side salad was a few pieces of lettuce with one single cucumber and tomato on top.. I get you guys are very busy and have a lot going on but this is just crazy. I hope you guys can improve.

Wow I haven't been to Rosa since college! And it did not disappoint. Glad that I was able to stop by. Serving sizes are still the same. It was definitely worth it. Clean, quick experience. With good service.

One of things about me is I love promoting a mom/pop business. I've heard all good things about Rosa's Pizza including their signature New York style pizza. Rosa's pizza slice is very large & filling. Since I was pretty hungry that day I got two slices. One with just plain cheese the other one with chicken, mushroom & spinach. I thought the spinach would be fresh but it appeared to already cooked spinach. It did compliment the pizza well so I had no issues with it. The food was good & the best replica of NY pizza. This place is a take out joint but there's seating in the back. For those coming here for the first time watch your surroundings, there's a bunch of homeless people who linger around the front asking customers to buy them food. I was almost a victim of this but I simply ignored the gentleman. This is a good spot for a good pizza.

lovee this pizza place!! crust was crispy outside, soft inside, just perfect. the cheese was melty and sooo gooood. toppings were fresh, and the sauce was rich and tasty. service was friendly but kinda slow. overall great pizza, will be back! 8.5/10

I started with a Caesar salad and my friends shared an olive/cheese appetizer. It was so delicious. We chatted while enjoying the music, and looking around at the decor. Once our main dishes arrived, we were so pleased with the presentation and the flavor was on point. I paced myself with the lasagna and had saved a small piece of the complimentary bread because I wanted to leave room for dessert. We all enjoyed our meal and one of the owners came to the table to check in with us about our food. We had the remainder of our meals boxed up and ordered the vanilla gelato, the Nona's lemon pie, and the chocolate lava cake. It was the perfect ending to a great dinner and wonderful experience. We will return again.

For the pasta, I got the the tortelli de vitello which was so good. Some of us at the table also tried the shrimp linguine which was delicious and so fresh as well as the chicken parm which was MASSIVE and came with a great side of pasta. We also tried the little pasta shells/ears with sausage and broccolini and it was delish. Truly these dishes were stunning and cannot wait to have it again! Free small parking lot in front. Free extra parking across the street. The total was about $150 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and a dessert. Pros The quiet, intimate, and classy atmosphere was exactly what I needed for my family. When we first arrived, our table was not ready and we had to wait outside. However we were given continuous updates on when the table would be ready, they apologized, and they were very understanding. Considering we were a large party in an intimate space, we understood and only waited about 20 minutes before the table was ready. You could tell the food was fresh, the orders came fast, and the service was amazing. The fresh in house pasta took everything to the next level. It was the perfect night out. Cons The establishment is intimate so I do not think it would ideal for extra large parties. I had a party of 8 at 8PM but I dont know if they could have accomodated us if it was any earlier during prime dinner time. I wish they had a better parking situation but its not bad and its free. This place is hard to miss as it's right on Roswell Rd. There is complimentary valet parking available, but there's also free parking at a deck just a few steps away from the restaurant entrance. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in and the restaurant was already very busy for a Saturday 6 pm dinner. Our server was fine, and the food was decent. I opted for the blackberry fiz mocktail, which was super sweet at first, but with a good mix, it was super refreshing. For starters, we shared the eggplant balls (a must get here!) and the bread service. The eggplant balls were definitely shareable and were probably our favorite thing we ate. The bread service you could probably skip - we wish it was served with vinegar instead of just oil and an olive tapenade. For entrees, I ordered one of the dinner specials, grilled branzino served with broccolini and potatoes. My husband ordered the ravioli. I really enjoyed the branzino, it was tender and the skin was cooked crispy. I loved that the broccolini was charred enough, but wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. The capers added the needed saltiness to the dish, though I wish this was served with lemon or something to balance out the flavors. My husband enjoyed his ravioli but found it too heavy with the cream sauce. We thought this was a decent place for dinner, but nothing really stood out besides the eggplant balls.
