We order the shrimp scampi and pepperoni pizzas, risotto balls, and honey hot lemon pepper wings with blue cheese. I dont eat beef but my mother said the pepperoni pizza was good. As for the scampi pizza, it was amazing. The crust had great chew, the sauce held together well with the cheese and the shrimp were flavorful all on their own. It was truly a highlight. The wings were pretty good. Cooked how I like them, the wing sauce blended well and the wing size was great FOR ME! The risotto balls kind of fell flat. The breading was too bland. I had to eat the inside separately to appreciate the flavors. The saving grace was the homemade marinara sauce. That itself could have been served on a spoon. Overall id definitely come back again and I truly enjoyed my meal.

Coming from the Northeast, where we're spoiled with excellent Italian restaurants, we found the veal below the quality we're used to, and the other dishes were just okay. That's only our opinion, of course, but Italian food may not be the first thing I'd seek out when visiting Atlanta. The service was excellent; the food didn't quite live up to it.

While the food, ambiance, and ingenunity of Grana remains unmatched (more on that to come) my most recent experience was marred by one thing: the service. The waitress we had that evening was abysmal. She was super low energy and slow, and just seemed mentally clocked out the whole time. We had planned to make something of a night of Grana, but after 30 minutes of her bringing down the vibe we opted to finish our food and grab our second drinks at another place nearby. I'm a former server and understand you can have off-days, but for a server to be totally checked out like that when everyone's spending $35+ isn't really acceptable. Aside from that, though, Grana was still great. The food was superb, and I thought the menu selection was cool and well thought-out. The general vibe and ambiance was great as well. Will try to come again and avoid that particular server.

The desert pies do look good but you'd need to come with your crew to trie given the $18+ price. Otherwise, single slice deals (for size and quality) and pricing makes sense I think.

The restaurant is in a small food hall, so not much privacy for seating, but it's next to a bunch of cool things in East Atlanta Village to explore (we went after a night of salsa dancing right next door)

I honestly didn't need anything complicated--I just needed a place to sit, a glass of rosé, and a little kindness. Victor was perfect. That's really all that can be said. He kept the rosé coming, checked on me without hovering, gave me space when I needed it, and somehow seemed to know exactly what I needed without me having to ask. He did his job flawlessly, but more importantly, he showed kindness to someone having one of the worst days of her life. You never know what someone sitting at your bar is going through.
