First of all, there is some parking available, we were able to park here on a busy Friday during dinner hour. The restaurant has a nice vibe, it's a little bit dark but overall it's decorated nicely and has plenty of seating. We came in on a Friday and you can tell they were pretty busy. The service was just ok, if not a little bit lacking. Which is a real bummer when you're going out to eat at what looks like a nice restaurant. We waited a long time for drinks or to put in an order, and waited a long time for food without any updates. It took over an hour to get pizza and wings. As far as the food goes, the pizza was good, really tasty, a little small for the price. The dough had great texture. The unicorn wings were ok, definitely big and crispy but I think the unicorn flavor is not for me, would be helpful if they had a description of it on the menu.

I can't believe I've passed by this neighborhood so many times and never knew this spot existed! FirePit is officially on my radar now--and trust me, it's worth the visit. Parking & Location: Parking is right out front and free (for anyone unfamiliar with the area, that's a big win!). Ambiance: The inside is casual, cozy, and inviting--perfect for a relaxed night out or catching up with friends. Service: Our server was amazing--patient, friendly, and super helpful in guiding me through the menu since it was my first time. His recommendations were spot-on! What We Ordered * Parmesan Bites: No photo because they were gone in seconds. Translation? 10/10 perfection--crispy, cheesy, and absolutely addictive. * Pizzas: We ordered the Veggie and the Pesto, and wow... both were incredible. o The goat cheese and pulled pork combo? Mind-blowing. A flavor explosion that my taste buds will never forget. o Every bite was balanced, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Final Thoughts: FirePit checks all the boxes: cozy atmosphere, stellar service, and unforgettable food. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go--you'll thank me later! This is definitely a repeat spot for me.

So I visited for the first time on 4-7-2026. I passed this area plenty of times before. I usually get lemon pepper wings or garlic parmesan wings which are available but I saw online everyone's raving about the famous unicorn wings so I tried them. The area delicious with some heat to them blue cheese and ranch sauce is delicious also. If you like wings with heat they are for you.Next time I will get half and half lemon pepper and garlic parmesan wings.I got a delicious steak pizza first time visiting this restaurant and trying any of the available food items. Everything is fresh cooked to order. The ambiance in the spot is really nice. Employees speak also after you enter. Pull up and check them out definitely worth the trip not a disappointment!

It's been awhile since I was here last and I happened to have been craving pizza. We arrived for early dinner on Sunday. We were seated right away though the restaurant wasn't completely empty. Our server greeted us right away and took our order. My husband ordered a beer and wings, while I ordered a tavern salad and pizza with tomato and grilled onions. The wings and salad came out so fast. I THINK they did forget my pizza since we were done with everything else and my pizza has still not arrived. We followed up with our server and said the first batch was burnt - no apologies for the delay or anything. At least the pizza was still delicious even though the wait took forever. This was more of a 3.5 stars because of this experience. Everything else was fine though.

Popped in with my sister for an early lunch! We were not disappointed at all. The pizza, wings, drinks and the service was impeccable.! It's not a large place, but they do have free parking which is always a plus! I would recommend the unicorn wings! Thank me later!

I was highly disappointed in my visit to this establishment. When I first went a couple of months back, the pizza was amazing. The last two times I went, it has been getting progressively worse. This time, the pizza was burnt and was, extremely, dry. There was little to no flavor. We had wings as well. They were cold despite coming straight out of the kitchen. The server was ok. He wasn't the worst, but we only got one refill. I was excited about taking my kids here during their visit to Atlanta. Waste of time and money. I won't be returning. Try it and tell me what you think.

The unicorn wings were good.. wish they came out with my french fries

It started out really well. I loved our server but I guess she got overwhelmed, but I'm not really sure because it's not that busy. I asked for hot sauce twice and never received it.. My order of wings came out first and then my french fries came out about 20 minutes later. I don't know about you, but I like to eat my fries with my wings. After getting home, I realized that my fingertips were tingling. Basically, the french fries that came late and the wings that were tasty. We're really salty. Oh, and I got my hot sauce on my way out the door. I really didn't eat tonight but enjoyed the company of the group. I know these ladies are doing the best they can. But this is why I usually eat at home. My beer was ice cold There's cool vibes, but it's a little bit loud in here for me.

    Built my own pizza

The food was very good. The first time I went I had a Caesar salad and I got the grilled chicken. It was very hearty and tasty. The next time I went I went on and ordered me a pizza. I built it myself and it was good so it was tasty too.

First time here. A friend who's familiar with Firepit invited me out and I'm glad I went. The atmosphere is almost giving sports bar, with basic seating/decor and people surrounded the bar & tv area. They were playing early 2000s hits which was more than fine with me. My friend and I started with the vegan brussel sprouts. They were a tad too charred for my liking but had a nice balsamic taste to them. I really enjoyed our veggie pizza. The house-made vegan cheese was rly good. Beyond being creamy, it has a nice umami that elevates the other ingredients. It was generously topped with veggies and decently filling. I'll definitely stop back in to pick up a pizza.

Baby...go here and get the unicorn wings, extra crispy and thank me later. A co worker introduced me to this place and so glad they did!! Hip, cool spot not too far from downtown Atlanta with a cool vibe. Their wings are top tier...I give it a 10/10. I can't explain the unicorn flavor, you just have to try them. They are so good. I work close by and we order to go from here often. I've had their salmon sandwich also and it is very good as well. Staff is friendly, free and convenient parking and they have a nice patio also

This was a pick from my good friend who frequents here a lot. I was happy to try a new spot because I'm typically not on this side of town. I loved the plentiful parking in the rear of the building off of Memorial Drive. There's two entrances - front and back in the middle of the restaurant. They also have a small outdoor patio. The hostess told me to seat myself so I took a booth. Our server Elena was very gracious and helpful. She shared the specials and was patient until my friend arrived. The drink special was a watermelon margarita (yum) and we ordered the wings, fries, brussel sprouts (popular item) and the chicken fresco sandwich. The kitchen was busy so it took a while - maybe 20 minutes. While we waited I people watched and recognized a popular TikTok and podcaster sit at the next table. The food was plated very nicely and the food was hot. The drink was refreshing but didn't taste much alcohol. The restroom is unisex so any one can enter but lock the door. There's a small bar but plenty of tables. I could see pizzas, salads and other entrees coming out so the food looks really good. I'll definitely plan to return when I'm in the Decatur/Atlanta area.

My better half had an appointment in the ATL so we decided to try the Firepit Pizza Tavern after we completed her appointment. This restaurant was participating in the Creative Loafing "Hamburger Week" and their offering sounded intriguing. The burger was called 'The New Yorker' and was Two Beef smash patties on a seeded bun with pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian Dressing. We ordered this "special of the week" burger offering and asked to substitute spicy mustard instead of the Russian Dressing. We also ordered 10 Chicken Wings 'Unicorn' style and split the burger and the wings. For our side, we ordered Crispy Brussel sprouts. These are cooked with bacon and blue cheese. My better half tried one Brussel Sprout but I ate the majority of this side item. Our meal was very tasty and the wings were crispy with delicious seasoning. Our server quickly arrived to take our order and checked in on us frequently during our meal. The restaurant is clean and the servers and hostess were very friendly throughout our lunch. Unfortunately, I returned after our meal and got sick from some type of food poisoning event. I probably will not return but their offerings all tasted good.

This is my spot! I have been 3-4 times since a coworker told me about some phenomenal wings called Unicorn. I always order to go and one day plan to eat inside. My initial visit I ordered the meat lovers pizza and unicorn wings. The wings are the star of the show! The crispiness of the skin is the same everytime? the flavor is poppin' and the ranch and celery make everything fall into place. I am literally thinking about ordering some now as my mouth waters as I write this review! Pick up usually takes 15-20 mins and the guy at the counter is nice and attentive and seems to be pretty good at multitasking. The place is clean, dark and pretty busy when I go! The one time I sent my husband to pickup the food the lady was not attentive and the manager ended up assisting my husband. Overall 10/10 recommend, the pizza was good but the wings have my heart!

From the moment I called in, his customer service was top tier. Professional, warm, and intentional. He made sure my order was right, sent a quick payment link so things moved efficiently, and had everything ready by the time I arrived. That's how you run a business. When I pulled up, he greeted me with a smile, brought my food out, and confidently told me I was going to enjoy it and he was absolutely right. I originally planned to grab my food and go, but his energy made me slow down, sit, pray, and actually enjoy the moment. I asked for a lime Jarritos, and he recommended pineapple instead to pair with the jerk seasoned wild caught salmon sandwich. That recommendation was on point and really elevated the whole experience. That sandwich hits. Every bite pops with flavor across your entire palate. The salmon was perfectly cooked, juicy but not soggy. The kale had the right crunch. The onions tied everything together. And that homemade garlic butter on the salmon took it to another level. It's a creative spin on a traditional cheesesteak. I'm sure the beef options are great too, but if you want seafood, this is the move. I've had a Philly cheesesteak in Philly before, and honestly, I don't need to go back. When I'm in Atlanta, I'm coming here. Sammy, thank you for the hospitality and the intentionality behind what you do. You didn't just serve food, you created an experience. Thank you for praying with me. I will definitely be back.

When I saw they now offer an oyster night on Wednesdays, I decided to give it a try. As a South Louisiana girlie, hearing zydeco music playing as I walked up instantly set the tone. I have visited before and was previously let down by their Boulevard location, so I walked in hopeful but realistic. The oysters were a dozen for fifteen dollars, which is a great price. Once they arrived, I understood the cost. The seasoning and flavor were truly good, but the oysters themselves were extremely small and a bit tough. The meat was tiny and often stuck to the adductor muscle, which took away from the experience. I also ordered a side of corn. Unfortunately, it was a zero out of ten for me. The cobs had no flavor and were served with only a bit of fake butter and crab boil pooling at the bottom of the plate. I did not finish them. On a brighter note, I tried the Zulu Punch from the happy hour menu. For five dollars, it was a solid drink and definitely worth the price. I will probably return because there are menu items I do enjoy. I just know that the next time I come here specifically for oysters, I will need to lower my expectations.

The restaurant was recently rebranded and I was curious to see what was new. I stopped in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in. Seating was open at the time and Noah, who was both the bartender and our server, greeted us with water right away. I have never been impressed by a casual restaurant's menu design before, but The Pub at EAV truly stands out. It is well thought out and visually appealing. I had been eyeing the tom yum wings for a while and ordered them as an appetizer. They were flavorful and served hot. The restaurant also provides complimentary house made pickles, and they were genuinely good. For my drink, I tried the Sneaky Link cocktail. Noah added muddled strawberries because it was a fresh batch and needed a little balance. I would honestly recommend keeping the strawberries as part of the drink because it turned out delicious. For entrées, we ordered the Heck Fire Burger and chose to have the bread served shareable style. They bake their bread in house and it is so good that they could easily offer a bread service option on its own. We also tried the lamb shank which was tender and very well prepared. The only disappointment of the entire evening was the bread pudding. It was recommended with a lot of enthusiasm which made me excited to try it. I ordered it to go and reheated it at home. Unfortunately, it tasted freezer burnt and slightly cross contaminated, almost as if it had absorbed the flavor of another item nearby. I am not a picky eater, but I could only take a couple of bites. Overall, The Pub at EAV is a great addition to the neighborhood. The cooks definitely know what they're doing, and all I can see is that I will be back for much more!

It's about a 10 minute walk from the zoo (and the food is better and beer is cheaper). This place caught our eye, it seemed like a cute local spot we wanted to check out. Despite the small location, they do have some tables inside and on a small patio. The vibe is cozy, there's a ton of cool snack and take home food options in their to-go coolers, and an absolutely huge assortment of single drinks you can pick out with a snack or meal from the counter. We picked up a couple beers to go with our sandwiches. For food, we got a Reuben and the meatball sub. Both were very good and prepared quite quickly! The meatball sub had some sort of pesto on it, and the meatballs were great (flavorful and filling). I loved the ciabatta type bread it was served on, it was hearty but not tough. The Reuben was also delicious, a generous serving of meat and the chipotle mayo instead of thousand island was a nice touch. I feel good about supporting a local business with tons of fresh yummy looking offerings, would love to come back if we are in the area. Service was good, everyone is nice and the food came up quicker than expected!

I was behind the counter before I knew it The staff was great and really nice about it. I got a sandwich, can't remember which one, I believe it was the rueben...unfortunately it wasn't that memorable. I would probably go back to try to something else if in the area, but it bc I have to. I am a sandwich lover and this wasn't love at first taste.
