Came out last night to try them out. We had the pork belly toast and street corn. Absolutely incredible. We had Austin and a new trainee who were amazing. They were incredibly busy and made sure that we were taken care of throughout. We ended up taking our Firepit dip and fries, as well as the meatball sub and Mac and cheese to go. First of all, there is some parking available, we were able to park here on a busy Friday during dinner hour. The restaurant has a nice vibe, it's a little bit dark but overall it's decorated nicely and has plenty of seating. We came in on a Friday and you can tell they were pretty busy. The service was just ok, if not a little bit lacking. Which is a real bummer when you're going out to eat at what looks like a nice restaurant. We waited a long time for drinks or to put in an order, and waited a long time for food without any updates. It took over an hour to get pizza and wings. As far as the food goes, the pizza was good, really tasty, a little small for the price. The dough had great texture. The unicorn wings were ok, definitely big and crispy but I think the unicorn flavor is not for me, would be helpful if they had a description of it on the menu. read more

So I visited for the first time on 4-7-2026. I passed this area plenty of times before. I usually get lemon pepper wings or garlic parmesan wings which are available but I saw online everyone's raving about the famous unicorn wings so I tried them. The area delicious with some heat to them blue cheese and ranch sauce is delicious also. If you like wings with heat they are for you.Next time I will get half and half lemon pepper and garlic parmesan wings.I got a delicious steak pizza first time visiting this restaurant and trying any of the available food items. It's been awhile since I was here last and I happened to have been craving pizza. We arrived for early dinner on Sunday. We were seated right away though the restaurant wasn't completely empty. Our server greeted us right away and took our order. My husband ordered a beer and wings, while I ordered a tavern salad and pizza with tomato and grilled onions. The wings and salad came out so fast. I THINK they did forget my pizza since we were done with everything else and my pizza has still not arrived. I was highly disappointed in my visit to this establishment. When I first went a couple of months back, the pizza was amazing. The last two times I went, it has been getting progressively worse. This time, the pizza was burnt and was, extremely, dry. There was little to no flavor. We had wings as well. They were cold despite coming straight out of the kitchen. The server was ok. He wasn't the worst, but we only got one refill. I was excited about taking my kids here during their visit to Atlanta. Waste of time and money. I won't be returning. Stumbled upon this place by chance. I was looking into the sister company and was more drawn to this menu. Parking is free but tricky depending on what time you go. I went at 1p and I had to circle a few times. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and we were told to sit anywhere we wanted. There was a nice sized crowd but not overwhelming. Staff was very engaging and professional. The food was very flavorful. I had wings (1/2 unicorn and 1/2 garlic parmesan), brussel sprouts and street corn. It started out really well. I loved our server but I guess she got overwhelmed, but I'm not really sure because it's not that busy. I asked for hot sauce twice and never received it.. My order of wings came out first and then my french fries came out about 20 minutes later. I don't know about you, but I like to eat my fries with my wings. They were a tad too charred for my liking but had a nice balsamic taste to them. I really enjoyed our veggie pizza. The house-made vegan cheese was rly good. Had to ask for high chair because obviously having a 1 year old in my arms for lunch is common??? We ordered some wings, which looked great. Tasted average as far as taste wise a bit to crispy. This was a pick from my good friend who frequents here a lot. I was happy to try a new spot because I'm typically not on this side of town. I loved the plentiful parking in the rear of the building off of Memorial Drive. There's two entrances - front and back in the middle of the restaurant. They also have a small outdoor patio. The hostess told me to seat myself so I took a booth. Our server Elena was very gracious and helpful. She shared the specials and was patient until my friend arrived. The drink special was a watermelon margarita (yum) and we ordered the wings, fries, brussel sprouts (popular item) and the chicken fresco sandwich. The kitchen was busy so it took a while - maybe 20 minutes. While we waited I people watched and recognized a popular TikTok and podcaster sit at the next table. The food was plated very nicely and the food was hot. The drink was refreshing but didn't taste much alcohol. The restroom is unisex so any one can enter but lock the door. There's a small bar but plenty of tables. I could see pizzas, salads and other entrees coming out so the food looks really good. My better half had an appointment in the ATL so we decided to try the Firepit Pizza Tavern after we completed her appointment. This restaurant was participating in the Creative Loafing "Hamburger Week" and their offering sounded intriguing. The burger was called 'The New Yorker' and was Two Beef smash patties on a seeded bun with pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian Dressing. We ordered this "special of the week" burger offering and asked to substitute spicy mustard instead of the Russian Dressing. We also ordered 10 Chicken Wings 'Unicorn' style and split the burger and the wings. For our side, we ordered Crispy Brussel sprouts. These are cooked with bacon and blue cheese. My better half tried one Brussel Sprout but I ate the majority of this side item. Our meal was very tasty and the wings were crispy with delicious seasoning. Our server quickly arrived to take our order and checked in on us frequently during our meal. The restaurant is clean and the servers and hostess were very friendly throughout our lunch. Unfortunately, I returned after our meal and got sick from some type of food poisoning event. I probably will not return but their offerings all tasted good. read more

This is my spot! I have been 3-4 times since a coworker told me about some phenomenal wings called Unicorn. I always order to go and one day plan to eat inside. My initial visit I ordered the meat lovers pizza and unicorn wings. The wings are the star of the show! The crispiness of the skin is the same everytime? the flavor is poppin' and the ranch and celery make everything fall into place. I am literally thinking about ordering some now as my mouth waters as I write this review! Pick up usually takes 15-20 mins and the guy at the counter is nice and attentive and seems to be pretty good at multitasking. The place is clean, dark and pretty busy when I go! The one time I sent my husband to pickup the food the lady was not attentive and the manager ended up assisting my husband. Food was fine, not amazing pizza but the best one was the mushroom & goat cheese (Portobello) white pizza. My party also ordered the Veggie and the Steak pizzas. Service was also just fine. Food came out quickly, but there was no serving utensil for the salad and we had to ask for sharing plates. I would think sharing plates are pretty normal at pizza places. The wings and pizza at Firepit Tavern is fantastic, but the service is lacking. I went to Firepit in November for a pizza, so I could try their product before committing to a large order for my birthday party in December. My husband and I stopped in one Friday night in November and thought we could be in and out in 45 min - 1 hour. We were seated right away without a reservation or a wait. Afterward, we proceeded to wait 50 minutes for 1 pizza to be delivered and 20 minutes for 2 non-alcoholic beers. The reason? The kitchen was so backed up with online and take out orders for the Jake Paul/ Mike Tyson fight. We agreed that it was an unusual circumstance, however the other tables around us were unhappy aswell and even had food delivered wrong. A restaurant should prioritize their in store customers rather than their to go orders, but I digress. I instead went ahead and ordered 6-7 pizzas and 50 wings for my birthday party directly through their website, at the advice of their manager, to avoid paying the $35 catering fee. Once I submitted the order online, 4 days before my party, I was redirected to a website called ChowNow with the confirmation. Seeing that a 3rd party was delivering my food and not a dedicated driver for the company, I spent the next 4 days calling, and emailing Fire Pit trying to change the order to a pick up order. The day of my party, they couldn't find my order anywhere in their system. It took hours to sort out and finally my husband was able to pick up the pizzas. Even after he returned I was sent notifications via GrubHub that a driver was on his way to my house with an entire order. It was a phantom driver who didn't actually exist but still received the delivery fee and tip from my online order. All of my friends and I agreed that the pizza and wings were some of the best we've had in Atlanta! I can't argue with quality and taste. The entire spread was consumed and we rapidly wanted to eat more. I'd continue to eat here in person because the food is that good, despite the issues with their communication and online ordering system. Do not order online and instead go in person for food, just not on a weekend if you value your time. read more

This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots, as it is always consistent, and the prices are good. I probably eat the unicorn wings once a month. The servers are always friendly, and they are always suggesting an experimental menu item. I know this place has a reputation for the wings, but the pizza is fresh and the sandwiches are ginormous. Two visits in and Firepit is locked in as my official local go-to pizza spot. The pie itself is delicious with a really nice, crisp proofed crust, a balanced tomato sauce, and fresh toppings. My personal order is the honey pizza with added sliced sausage. But the unexpected star of the show are the wings, which soared well beyond my expectations for a pizza spot! So the shop is not super big but but still has plenty of space once you get inside. I was happy that there was also free parking in this area so that is a plus. The waitress took a while to get even my water, so I had plenty of time to look at the menu. She took a really long time to get to the point to where she would bring my food. She said because it was a backup in the kitchen but there was a big party that just left so I don't know what the backup was because they're only like six tables left at this point. I came in 30 seconds behind someone else another table and they already had their food almost 10 minutes before me, so I am assuming that my waitress didn't put in my order right away when I placed it (because of the large party preparing to leave) which caused the delay. I serve part time so I understand how that goes but it's something that stands out to the customer if you make them wait and then say see you serving someone else before Your orders actually been put in. You want to treat your customers time very valuably. Not like an afterthought. The shop isn't huge but it's pretty big once you get in it. There's a front door and a back door area to it so you can access it from either. They have outdoor seating, so it's very good to sit out on a nice day. They have a full bar so you don't have to worry about necessarily trying to be very dodgy with your order because they have a very vast selection of liquor for you. Fire pit wings (unicorn) - these wings were really good. They were kind of small unfortunately but the flavor was definitely good. I would order them again even though they're not the biggest wings but they had a really good impact as far as flavor goes. They are somewhere a mix between a ranch and a spice or seasoning dry rub. Really really good. Parmesan fries - we're good. Their french fries though... so unless they're not seasoned or salty (or they are fried too soft) there usually good anywhere lol. But these had a really good layer of garlic parmesan on them, you can actually see the bits in and that was really good. They came out very crispy. Brussel sprouts w bacon and Bleu cheese - these were good as well. They came out a little more charred than I would have thought they would have been, but they were still good. There was nothing on them as far as a software glaze It was basically just the blue cheese and the bacon. Now all the bacon seen the sink right to the bottom of the bowl lol. The blue cheese I didn't see it first, but once you stick a fork and dig in there you can definitely see it. I would give this spot another shot. Even though my first interaction wasn't really great because of the delay. The food definitely was good. And I would actually go back and try the pizza next time. That's probably what their best known for since it is a pizzeria so I would give that a shot. I know everybody can do everything right every time, so I'll give it Grace and I will try it again and I will change my rating next time as long as the services better. My rating was based on the service, but just because i was left hanging, doesnt mean I would not give it another go since everyone has an off night. The place was slammed on a Saturday Night. We had about 30 minute wait, but opted to sit at the bar when it opened up about 15 min in. The food is solid. We had the meatball sub, street corn, unicorn wings and Chili. The Chili was our favorite, and we love it when we go to chomp and stomp. While the meatball sub was the least favorite. The meatballs just tasted like ground meat, not much flavor. The street corn is a little weird. Feel like you are biting into a fuzzy peach. The unicorn wings are solid. Crispy and cooked well. If I come back I hear the secret is getting unicorn Buffalo. The look and feel of the restaurant is industrial. I would say this is a spot you go out with your friends or take your kids. I love when a restaurant lives up to the hype and recommendations that led me there. Firepit has done just that countless times now. Located in Grant Park in a peaceful plaza, I've enjoyed each pizza craving that has led me here. With bar seating, an indoor dining room and a terrace that includes shaded portions and fire pits, (I mean, of course), my first impression was great here. Considering myself a lover of pizza, I thoroughly enjoy eating my way through Atlanta, one pizza at a time. At Firepit, I've found that a pizza and salad is my perfect combo. More on that in a minute. On my first visit I ordered the unicorn wings because I love wings and I'm a unicorn myself, so it seemed appropriate to order. The wings came out freshly fried and extra wet as I requested, but describing the visual is more difficult than you could imagine. Almost sparkling with specks of seasoning, the flavor was a seriously wild and one I hadn't experienced before. My only issue was that they were a fried a bit too hard for me but the flavor was there! As far as pizza goes, the Caprese is always a favorite of mine and really shows how great a pizza is. The edges of the crust is always super crisp and has the great woodfire pizza flavor with each crunch, love it. The middle of the crust on some visits was a little soft, but it was when I had lots of veggies which are so heavy. I ate it up either way. They're very generous with their toppings as well. The pizza is consistently good. It's usually pretty busy in here and it's a great spot for a semi-casual date night or friend dinner. At night they dim the lights which makes it kind of cozy, but the place gets lots of natural light in the daytime. All environmental -- the food and service were great. It was the atmosphere that turned it sour!!! There was a juvenile-oriented (as in little ones) birthday party at Firepit when I walked in to join my fiancée for dinner. (Unfortunate for the other diners on this venue as well.) The CONSTANT squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak of whatever toy the child was perpetually squeezing to make the deafening sound heard throughout the restaurant. Ugh! This was only the beginning. Honestly, I find it complexing how the restaurant owner, Leslie Cohen, CHOSE to ignore the intrusion placed upon other people in her restaurant. Do you not consider what other diners experienced tonight, Leslie? Apparently not -- as you were sitting in the booth of revelers -- while a good number of other diners turned around to look at where all of the commotion was coming from. (I know you saw me do a 180 in my seat and glare at the party for several moments.) I should have glared at YOU! How could you sit there and completely ignore the situation -- literally -- in front you??? While one cannot completely control what others do on a public place, you COULD be mindful of how the actions of one party negatively impacts the enjoyment of their restaurant patrons -- and their chosen place to spend their dining dollars. It IS a choice! And, I discovered how little you care about other restaurant patrons. Really shameful, Leslie Cohen! It was not a good night.
