Cheese sticks

Location is weird. It's on the side road of a busy street. We walked to other side to go to the gas station across the street and my wife almost got hit by a car. Drink selection here is limited. A few bottle drinks of jarritos priced at 3 dollars made me decline any drinks. The customer service was good she did a job explaining the menu and I was able to get half and half which I was appreciative however I was disappointed by the food. I ordered the bbq chicken pizza solely based on the added addition of cilantro expecting a unique flavor, but it was hidden by the other flavors. The diced chicken was not tender the flavors were there however the textures caused me to spit it out. Not a fan. The la banderas pizza was visually unappealing. It was a big glob of cold tomato sauce on a pizza. Wasn't good. The seating was small three tables and a dried plant. The cheesesticks while flavorful were too bready. Too much bread. I applaud the uniqueness of the flavors but it wasn't for me.

The off menu, custom "Cassius and Augs" (coined by yours truly. So good!!!!

I called in my order for a pick-up, custom pizza. (Was at Skiptown, maybe 1 mile away) Got there, used the restroom, chatted for a bit with another customer, and my pizza was ready. They said 25 min, on the phone, but it was quicker than that. Here we go... Sourdough Crust Spicy Tom sauce Ital saus Pepperoni Carmelized onions Mushrooms Garlic confit Pineapple Hot honey I did ask for a small cup of parm because I'm out at home. (Didn't add any on the 1.5 I ate because I was so hungry) Don't really need crushed red pepper unless you want to take it up a notch. Took me about 15-20 to get door to door home with the pie, but was still warm enough to devour a slice and half, and be content. The rest to come.. Crust has a great crisp on the outside, with a nice chew on the inside. Spicy sauce has a good kick, not too much, but you know it's there. Great flavor. This specific combo of items has a really good balance of flavors - savory, sweet, seasoning/spices/salt and cheese. C'mon!! Should be a random special offering. Call it the "Cassius and Augs" Do it. You're welcome!

Maybe one of the best pizzas I've had! The crust is super light and airy, yet still crisp. They sprinkle on some herbs/spices which is a nice little addition. Also have vegan options which was nice for my BF. As someone said, it's mostly take out but we like our pizzas hot hot so we sat at one of the small tables.

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. The location is very unassuming because it's literally a house lol. Me and my friend were the only ones there because we got there right when they opened. Inside it's very small but quant. The service was down to earth and the woman who took our order was very friendly. The food was definitely the star of the show! After much deliberation, we decided on the figgy piggy pizza. It was different but sooo good. We got a side of their hot honey to drizzle on top which took it to the next level. This place is definitely a hidden gem and I can't wait to go back :)

Figgy Piggy and Pepperoni half and half

Great pizza dough, I ended up going home buying a loaf of their sourdough bread! Small but cozy place with only 3 tables so plan accordingly if you want to dine-in. Love how they serve cokes in old school glass bottles and service was seamless :)

Hawaiiana, I believe is the name, or close.

The concept of this place is really close, it's a house turned into a restaurant. Ordered over the phone, friendly service, and was ready when we got there. The pizza was kool, I personally prefer more cheese on my pizza. The crust and bacon was the best parts, plus the HONEY! I've never had honey with my pizza but they changed my life because now it's a must for me. The have us hot honey and regular honey. The hot honey is HOT, fyi. But delicious overall, my friends loved it. Would recommend, just ask for more cheese if that's your thing.

Holy. Smokes. I would eat the sauce from the pizza with a spoon. So let's just start there. Yum! The crust of the pizza is so fluffy and the perfect texture, not too floppy, not too crunchy. I have nothing but good thins to say. The food was fantastic and the team is so friendly. It teeny inside so order ahead or go when they open if you want to sit

What incredible pizza. So delicious we had it twice in 1 weekend!! It's all about the dough at this place. It's a crust worth eating. The bread wingz....WOW! It's something that I have never thought to do. Pizza and wings are incredible, and this takes care of both cravings. The dough is so puffy it's liking biting into a cloud. And how they get the Buffalo on perfectly is amazing. Another offering of their pizza is all the vegan options as well. This is our family's favorite spot. And it's open at the perfect time of the week when pizza is what you crave on the weekends. The service is unbeatable. Such nice and welcoming atmosphere. It's truly a place everyone should try in Atlanta. You can feel the love put into the food!

This is all the pizza crust I didn't eat.

This is fantastic pizza. And I'm a bit of a pizza snob. One thing though - I never eat the crusts. I like to save room for the toppings! But this is perhaps the best pizza crust I've ever had. The photo shows all the crust left -- none! The pizza was simply delicious. If you like it spicy get the chili oil on yours. Get it to carry out. They only have two tables and a tiny parking lot. It's in an old house on Memorial Dr. Don't let that stop you. Order online. Pick it up and you'll be glad you did.

Grandma Slices - one with Meatballs; one with Italian sausage

I've been living in the same neighborhood as La Calavera for almost 2 years and I've seen their sign out front when driving by almost every day. Finally, for some reason, I decided to try it out this past weekend. I'm so glad I did. I ordered online - 2 slices for me; 2 for her. She likes vegan cheese and vegan toppings and I'm more of a dairy cheese & meat kind of pizza guy. They had multiple options for both of us. We opted for slices - their square grandma pie style situation. I think they were about $3.50 each plus about 75 cents per topping. Out the door with tip, we were right at about $20. The flavor right off the bat was incredible. Tangy sauce, melty cheese, crispy crust... delicious! I can't believe we hadn't been to this joint before now. We woke up the next day still talking about it. Safe to say we'll definitely be back!

They offer fresh basil, spices, cheese and other things. Also have paper plates and cups to grab. I like the open style kitchen and seatings it makes you feel at home. They have seating up front that is closed off and bar style areas you can stand and eat if you're alone or not in a big group. I think they have outside seating too. We got margarita, pizza, and one with pepperoni and it was really delicious. The cheese pulled on some of the pizzas, but I had to heat mine up for her to get that full melted caramelized look. I like mine a little more crunchy so I just put it in the oven for a little bit longer. The flavor was still pure and fresh and really tasty. I would suggest asking or adding on extra basil. They do sprinkle it on or the cheese covers it.

Disappointing Food Quality and Poor Customer Experience…read more Unfortunately, my visit left a lot to be desired. The pizza arrived with a noticeably burnt crust -- not the charred, Neapolitan-style char that some places intentionally aim for, but genuinely overcooked to the point where it affected the overall flavor and texture of the dish. What made the experience worse was the interaction with the owner. Rather than being met with hospitality, the exchange felt dismissive and unwelcoming. For a dining establishment, the attitude of those running it matters just as much as the food itself.

The restaurant is quite small so if you're dining with a large party to go, might be your best bet. However, they did not stop us me and my best friend and my toddler ordered a few things off the menu and a couple of cocktails (obviously not the toddler). The peach Bellini and espresso martini were made really well. The espresso martini had a perfect foam that was just the right thickness and they do not use an insane amount of Baileys, which was a plus for me. We got the margarita pizza add spicy, Italian sausage and the hot honey char pizza as well as the meatballs. Everything had wonderful flavoring, everything was cooked to perfection in the food came out at the perfect temperature. Everything was priced appropriately. For my half of the bill I had the hot honey jar, pizza, and the espresso martini. My total was like $29 or something like that. Our waitress was awesome! She was super relaxed, very helpful, and was great to have a small conversation with. I feel bad that I can't remember her name, but she has blonde hair and cool piercings and jewelry. 10 out of 10 would recommend! And I definitely have found my new favorite pizza place.

I was really comfortable with the environment, but it's definitely not an elegant atmosphere. I got their Margherita pizza because I was interested in their ricotta stuffed crust. It was certainly one of the prettiest pizzas I've had! It also tasted pretty good. The crust was folded over into points where the ricotta was, which might have also helped the pizza be very stable and not too floppy. I'd say this pizza was close to a NY-style pizza.
