    Pepperoni piccante pizza
    Alyanna T.

Craved pizza and G's did the trick. My partner and I ordered the margherita pizza and pepperoni piccante pizza - TASTE: 5/5 - the pepperoni picante was fantastic and well balanced: salty pepperoni, spicy Calabrian chili peppers, Gorgonzola cheese, and sweet honey, yum! The margherita was solid too TEXTURE: 5/5 - love Neapolitan style pizzas and this crust was perfectly thin and crispy, while a little doughy in the crust too PRICE: 3/5 - the pizzas were rather expensive at $20 each SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - personal size pizzas that you could either finish in one go or save for later SERVICE: 4/5 - we called in our takeout order, and our pies were ready 15min later! ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - only popped in to pick up, but the il Giallo space is large, moody, and modern PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of parking in the Parkside Shopping Center plaza

I love this place! 2nd time going there & had another great dinner. You must get the focaccia & have it made as garlic bread. It is pillowy soft with a nice chew & crust on top...drizzled with oil & garlic. We got 2 orders! The Pepperoni Picante is my favorite - it's all the notes...salty pepperoni cups, sweet honey & funk of the gorgonzola...perfection. caesar & insalata zucca were delicious with lovely plating. Margherita & plain pepperoni pies were also great. Crust has a nice char with a good chew to it. Service was friendly & on point. it's not an inexpensive pizza dinner for the family, but great pizza with high-quality ingredients.

I stumbled across this pizza joint through some random article on the internet that talked about recent pizza joints that have opened up in the ATL area, and decided to give it a shot. The location is shared with another restaurant - iL Giallo Osteria and Bar - apparently they are both owned by the same person, and you can sit on either side of the wall and order from either restaurant. We sat in the pizza section - it was very intimate and you can see the pizzas being rolled and thrown into the gas oven. We started off with their garlic focaccia bread and also ordered the margarita and the funghi. I forgot to take pics of the focaccia, but it's easily the best I've ever had. It was rich with flavor, light and decadent with butter. As far as the pizzas are concerned, I think they were Neapolitan style. On both the pizzas, the crust was light, airy and yummy. The red sauce on the margarita was super flavorful, but the funghi was my favorite. I may have found my new favorite pizza place.

The only Speakeasy Pizza in ATL! This is by far my favorite pizza place in the area. The best thing about G's Pizza is the offer the same high quality ingredients their sister restaurant Il Giallo has on the menu. I've tried their veggie, cheese, and pepperoni pizza and all of them were fantastic. They also offer weekly pizza specials. It's perfect for a quick grab and go meal or a casual bite. It also reheats perfectly. I find so many pizza places burn their crust. This pizza is always cooked to perfection!

    Calamari was ok.
    Mike S.

The pizza is excellent. Neapolitan style with a twist. All three pizzas we ordered were very good. The calamari was neither bad nor good enough to leave an impression. The service was very good too. The only issue we had was that it was super cold in the area they have carved out for the pizza restaurant. Sitting there shivering kind of tarnished the experience. We'll be back, but definitely on a warmer evening.

The restaurant is quite small so if you're dining with a large party to go, might be your best bet. However, they did not stop us me and my best friend and my toddler ordered a few things off the menu and a couple of cocktails (obviously not the toddler). The peach Bellini and espresso martini were made really well. The espresso martini had a perfect foam that was just the right thickness and they do not use an insane amount of Baileys, which was a plus for me. We got the margarita pizza add spicy, Italian sausage and the hot honey char pizza as well as the meatballs. Everything had wonderful flavoring, everything was cooked to perfection in the food came out at the perfect temperature. Everything was priced appropriately. For my half of the bill I had the hot honey jar, pizza, and the espresso martini. My total was like $29 or something like that. Our waitress was awesome! She was super relaxed, very helpful, and was great to have a small conversation with. I feel bad that I can't remember her name, but she has blonde hair and cool piercings and jewelry. 10 out of 10 would recommend! And I definitely have found my new favorite pizza place.

My go-to orders are The Cure pizza and the Not So Mellow--both are consistently amazing. The veggie pizza is also really good if you're looking for something a little lighter. And I have to mention the baby arugula salad... it is so fresh and delicious. We also love getting the cheese pizza with basil--simple but done perfectly. The drinks are just as good as the food. My favorites are the pomegranate lemon drop, the pear martini, and the raspberry passion fruit margarita. They never miss. The atmosphere is great too--very family-friendly and even dog-friendly, which I love because I bring my pup with me. Anytime I have family in town, this is one of my go-to spots. My nephews ask to come here every time they stay with me, which says a lot! I probably come here at least once a month, and it never disappoints. If you're in the Sandy Springs area (or outside of it), it's absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommend!

I got three balloons with birthday messages, that we ended up leaving tied to birthday girl's chair. Twenty minutes after we left we realized we didn't take them. That put a damper on the already mediocre dining experience there. The setup was ok, dim lighting.. spread out and casual. Not a place I'd take someone special or celebrate a special occasion.. again, all around meh. Very forgettable.

It's one of the restaurants in Ashford Crossing so it's easy to drop in or if you don't want to wait you can make a reservation. Convenient and free parking is a big win for me. We've eaten here a few times but our last visit was on Halloween eve after all our trick or treating. We didn't realize but they had a Halloween party with a live DJ all you can eat pizza? On this last visit we got the meatball flight, garlic bread (which is just an entire medium garlicky pizza - so yum), arugula salad (tried the Cesar salad too), Rigatoni, Bucatini, wild mushroom pizza and to end the meal - Tiramisu. The food was delicious - I enjoyed the Bucatini a lot. The pasta is always cooked perfectly and the seasoning and flavors are bang on. Portions are big so you can definitely share - which is what we did. The wild mushroom pizza was our first here and I was impressed. From the dough to the perfect amount of charring on the crust and the delicious mushroom. While we were stuffed the tiramisu was also devoured. Our server was attentive and helpful and the staff were very personable to my kid. They let him fill up an entire bag (they provided him one) with Halloween treats. This is a nice family friendly restaurant and a staple on my list.

We kicked things off with the bread service (I have a carb problem--truly) and the tri-colore pizza. The pizza was fantastic and worked perfectly as a shared appetizer. Needless to say, we enjoyed our experience here for dinner. Husband and I came to celebrate my birthday - he was a bit upset they didn't offer anything for my birthday even though he notated it on the reservation, but I didn't really care for it as I don't like having the attention on me. This place is hard to miss as it's right on Roswell Rd. There is complimentary valet parking available, but there's also free parking at a deck just a few steps away from the restaurant entrance. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in and the restaurant was already very busy for a Saturday 6 pm dinner. Our server was fine, and the food was decent. I opted for the blackberry fiz mocktail, which was super sweet at first, but with a good mix, it was super refreshing. For starters, we shared the eggplant balls (a must get here!) and the bread service. The eggplant balls were definitely shareable and were probably our favorite thing we ate. The bread service you could probably skip - we wish it was served with vinegar instead of just oil and an olive tapenade. For entrees, I ordered one of the dinner specials, grilled branzino served with broccolini and potatoes. My husband ordered the ravioli. I really enjoyed the branzino, it was tender and the skin was cooked crispy. I loved that the broccolini was charred enough, but wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. The capers added the needed saltiness to the dish, though I wish this was served with lemon or something to balance out the flavors. My husband enjoyed his ravioli but found it too heavy with the cream sauce. We thought this was a decent place for dinner, but nothing really stood out besides the eggplant balls.
