I always forget to take a picture... that's how much we love it here! After years of not being able to enjoy pizza, I am so excited about the sourdough crust here! Not only that but the pizza itself is just delicious. We have some friends who don't love the sourdough flavor, but I also have to say they definitely don't eat a variety of foods like my husband and I do. So, if sourdough isn't your thing, then this might not be for you. The staff is always friendly and they pretty much know my husband at this point lol. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable--a great place to grab a bite and hang for a bit with friends and family. The food always comes out in a timely manner. We both love the white pizza (it's my favorite)! I have also really enjoyed the pepperoni and the cheese bar pie. My husband also really likes the hot pepperoni and vodka pizzas. Everything is great on its own, but their a side of their house made spicy ranch and the Rosa's hot oil sitting on the bar take everything up a notch! I stumbled on this place randomly while visiting the record store a few doors down. I initially stopped in for a drink, but grabbed some pizza as well. I got a slice of pepperoni pizza ($4.50) and a Memory Farm (16oz - $7). Both the pizza and beer were very good. I do with the slices were a little bigger. I'm so used to the larger sized slices at Fellini's and they're also .50 cents cheaper. Nevertheless, Brainwave makes a good pizza. The service of the staff was pretty fair. Everyone had great recommendations as a first timer. I actually loved the layout of the building. On one side is the bar where you can order drinks. On the other side is where you can order pizza. Solid neighborhood pie. Counter service and food runners are friendly and efficient- really hard workers. Restaurant is no frills industrial design but it work. Busy, even at mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Pizza has a great crust. No flop and nice char! Cheese was good. Sauce is a bit underwhelming. Needed more herbs to get this pie to five stars. read more

Brainwave is where it's at! They recently filled in the spot inside of Inner Voice that Glide moved out of. Personally, Brainwave reminds me of glide when they first opened up. The pizza is delicious. It gets you excited when eating it bc its so delish. I appreciate the amount of ingredients they use. I don't see myself choosing local competitors over Brainwave unless I am trying to save some money. It's still a vibe considering its apart of Inner Voice, they didn't change the interior at all. Came in last Friday around 6pm. It was quite crowded. It's located inside Inner Voices brewery. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We got vodka slices. You cannot add toppings to the slices, only the full pizzas. It wasn't our favorite, but if you like thin crust this is a good place to try. I'd suggest a full pizza instead of the slices. read more

Pizza was super flavorful! It was pretty structured and crispy! The sourdough crust was definitely a hit! It was perfectly chewy and crispy at the same time. I really enjoyed the sausage pizza. I would say the hot pepperoni was just a little too sweet. The service was okay and we had to wait a bit to order even though it was not busy. Best pizza I've had in Georgia and I have definitely been on a quest since leaving NY. I would say it's almost indistinguishable from a NY slice minus the dough being sourdough, which actually elevates it beyond a typical New York pizzeria spot. Ok, I didn't get what I ordered, but it was absolutely delicious and I'll be back. Last Friday, Jan 30th, I dropped by after yoga to pick up a rectangular pizza which I ordered with vodka sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, Calabrian peppers and hot honey. I didn't get that pizza because little did I or my order taker know, but you can't order vodka sauce on a square pizza. So when the pizza arrived, I explained the order and they asked me to take it anyway and they would refund my money. I said don't worry about it, I'll just take the pizza, but there's the refund on my VISA. Are these people nice or what? That said, the regular New York 18in pepperoni pizza was spectacular. I'm 5'3" , 120 lbs and eat like a bird. I had 3 pieces that night. Who knew cupped pepperoni with hot honey could taste so wonderful? Anyway, I need to know if their square pizza is as good as Crushers Pizza in Oakhurst. So ... I will be back, and this time order more carefully. Oh, and a really nice atmosphere. Inner Voice brewing has great beer, and the overall vibe was fantastic. Typical mix of Decatur families and couples out on date night. I loved it. read more

Terrible pizza and service! We ordered the full-size vodka pizza and it came out super COLD and DRY! They probably just gave us a premade pizza that has been out for a while...yuck...and they DON'T WEAR GLOVES AND TOUCH EVERYTHING WITH THEIR DIRTY HANDS (dirty fingernails)!!!!!! They handle the finished pizza and even throw Parmesan on top with their nasty sweaty bare hands!!! SUPER UNHYGIENIC and UNACCEPTABLE! Also INSANELY EXPENSIVE for disgusting pizza. Any topping is 3 dollars (onions, you name it) like wtf??? Very limited options. One pizza came out to 42 dollars after just a few toppings...I will never be back and will warn everyone I know! read more

I'm sorry I did not take a picture of this pizza. It was so good. I'm a native New Yorker. I am a pizza snob and I wasn't sure what I was going to get, but I have to say it all truth. I ate that whole pizza by myself not in one day but I ate a few slices. I put a few in the freezer. They freeze really well. I reheated them in a nonstick pan and it was just like the first day. I have nothing bad to say. This was a great pie. I'm definitely gonna order from them again. read more

My full size pizza came cold, which showed how bad their crust was. I don't like the manger didn't care . Also I didn't like how unsanitary touching the pizza with their hands to serve the slices on the plate. read more
