But if you're ordering a pizza from Savage Pizza, definitely try the Bolognese! The medium pizza was perfect for 2 people. I looked on the menu and I saw the greek pizza but then I looked and I saw this pizza. Cheese pizza is definitely one of my favorite pizzas. This is one of the best cheese pizzas I ever had. I got a 10 inch White On Red. You look at the ingredients 4 cheese and other ingredients. At first when I got my pizza it was fresh out of the oven. I was told that it might take 10 minutes or maybe 15. I got the pizza and I got the first slice I pull it. It was the hot cheese slice pull but I went around the corner to run a errand and when I got back to my car the pizza was 10 times as good to me it was not burn your mouth cheese pull it was more gel like I could see and taste every cheese on the pizza with the other ingredients. Also if you come from College Ave you can left turn in the parking lot that's the entrance and the other way is the exit. No chicken wings at this location..I visited on 3-21-2026. Pull up definitely worth the trip not a disappointment. I also tried the Alon Night Cake Slice it's alright. They actually have a fresh cheesecake slice here. read more

Front of the house is super friendly and accommodating. I'd come back just for Shannon as she was very helpful during this inaugural visit. The place is laid back with black floors and a fast paced 80's rock soundtrack ringing from above. I'm less than thrilled with the offering I selected by my own doing. I got the No Brainer. Everything on it was awesome except for the sauce. I couldn't taste it. And that's okay I asked for a side of the sauce they used and paid another .99. I'm definitely looking forward to the cheesecake with blueberry topping later this evening. Note to restaurant owners in particular: do check ins with the quality and flavors at neighboring or otherwise nearby restaurants of the same kind (in particular, but also broadly). You love and learn. Things can only go up from this first time around here. I'll have to learn better how to order here versus other current experiences. Thanks to the team here. I'll be back. We ordered a Medium No Brainer Supreme minus Pepperoni & Green peppers and added fresh garlic and ground beef. What we received was a small pizza (4 slices) with pepperoni and a ton of garlic making it hard to eat. Hard to judge the pizza taste. Didn't appear to have ground beef on the pizza (paid extra). A total failure from them. We ordered a Cesar Salad and Greek salad and they both were good. Being from out of state and getting a wrong order is troublesome for 3 men. read more

I honestly just don't get all the love for this place. I used to go years and years ago but wasn't the biggest fan so we stopped going. I decided to go again recently after seeing how much people were loving it. I just wasn't that impressed with the pizza at all. It is a cheaper option and it is kind of a get what you pay for situation. The crust doesn't taste great and it's a little cardboardy tasting. The toppings also didn't taste great and the sauce did not do much for helping the flavor at all. It was also crowded with people waiting for orders and eating inside but there really was no where to wait that was out of the way. I just wouldn't go back, I think that there are much better pizza places around. read more

I'm always trying out new pizzeria's and Savage Pizza is solid in my book. For this take out order, I went with the meat lovers and garlic knots. The garlic knots were so light and fluffy, the pizza ingredients melted to perfection! The service was standard, the cashier promptly placed my take out order upon arrival, the ambiance is filled with comic book superheroes which gives off a very cool and fun atmosphere. I have a report against the general manager from Norcross save pizza for trying to insight a fight againts my husband. He approached him Very aggressively and smelled like Marijuana. About a month ago we ordered pizzas. when my husband went to pick them up no body attended him he felt ignored thats when he decided leave. We are aware that it was not the right thing to do but they gave more attention to other people walking in the diner when he was already there before hand to pick up the pizzas, the pizzas where also ready but he just felt ignored and left. On 5/22/26 we ordered pizzas again they refused to serve me and we totally understand for the situation prior, thats when the general manager come out from the kitchen and was trying to start a fight with my husband, stating " DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY YOU MADE ME LOSE", he approached my husband very aggressive and was trying to fight him inside the restaurant making a big sean, until the second manager arrived and calmed the situation. My husband and the second manager steped out side to talk like civilized citizens, what should have done in the first place, but the general manager still came out side provoking my husband into punching him he was so rude and very disrespectful and very unprofessional. Love their pizza! They are located in the heart of Avondale estates and there is ample of parking on those stand alone lot. The staff is friendly and make great suggestions. This location is comic themed, it is great for groups, and family. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There are vegetarian options, there are individual size pizzas offered here. Two out of three times the pie had a crisp crust but keep in mind I've been taking mine to go. Minor complaint (but I'm not deducting a star) is there seems to be whole chunks of diced onion in the sauce - it's fine for me but the wife can't eat them. Your mileage may vary. Most pizza in NY is good solid food. $2 slice. 20 inch pies. Good char. Great flavor. Savage hits all those notes even though it's only a 16 inch pie. Great value with a pepperoni coming in at just over $20. I can afford to treat the family once a week. There's nothing wrong with artisanal pizza but I can't help but compare it to the NY pies with the above notes. I passed this place on my way to Kudzu and doubled back to try it out for dinner with my kids on a Saturday around 5pm for an early dinner. Great decision! The place has an easy vibe rocking an 80s arcade meets comic-con with a twist of diner seating. The seating offers nice space to move around between tables. There's some outdoor seating also. They had awesome music playing (at a reasonable volume to allow easy conversation), and the guy behind the counter knew all the lyrics. My son ordered a small pepperoni pizza and my daughter and I shared the bacon, spinach, and tomato (pic included here). Good pizza! I would like to see them add some optional brush on flavors for their pizza crusts. There are plenty of other options besides pizza, too! The three of us ate for $43, with tip. My son loved the fact that he could play the arcade games for free. This would be a safe bet to meet up with a date from an online dating service, as there's plenty of strong, young men working here.
