It's been several years since I have been to Gainesville dinner and will definitely be back. I tried the smoky barbacoa omelette about $20 but it's enough to feed 2 people or save half for later. I opted for fruit and not pictured home fries and everything was spot on and freshly cooked and prepared. I do miss when breakfast was cheaper pre Covid but those days are gone. If you want some delicious home cooked breakfast that will not have you leave hungry.

Regular pancake breakfast.

Overall, okay experience. Servers are very nice. Home fries and eggs NEED salt and pepper. Pancakes were good but syrup was cold, not even room temperature. Bacon was a bit too crispy to enjoy. Baclava pancakes weren't delicious but came out cold, wouldn't allow butter to melt on them. Mimosa was cute, dainty and satisfying. Though things weren't perfect, would return. Solid 3.5 stars.

Nothing to really brag about. The pancakes, waffles & omelettes are overcooked, salty & tough. We only tried breakfast. Not sure if we're willing to try the others in the menu. We'll stick with Cracker Barrel.

First time visiting this Dinner. I found this place from app called Next . Because they offered sausage Biscuit gravy in the menu and I love Biscuit sausage gravy. It's not the best I had. Below average , the biscuit supposed to be light and soft but it's chewy. The gravy's bland, lacks of flavor (put tons of hot sauce :)). Service is ok. She saw my unfinished plate but not care to ask. The serves/hostess really chill. I will come back again to try something else but not Biscuit Sausage Gravy. Maybe There is something for me. Even wawa's sausage Gravy taste way better.wawa is a gas station that serve food. Double espresso nah..maybe it's just me.price $3,99 and the Biscuit sausage gravy $10.99 plus Taxes and FEE* $2.68?. * charging fee for what? The ambiance is so casual and relax. Like a neighborhood diner , good place for family, friends hang out . I gave them 4 stars because they offered discount to veteran/First responders and I appreciated it. 3 Stars for food and services. Ps. If you pay cash they deduct 4.75% . Before I left ,I have a chance to meet the owner/manager. She is really friendly and nice. She talks to every table.

Clean dining and rest rooms. BLT had lots of bacon. Chicken Souvlaki was warm, tasy and lots of meat. Yummy!

The food was good and prices reasonable but the customer service was horrible. The waitress ignored us for 30 minutes.

Really enjoyed my breakfast. The portions were large. The service was prompt. What more could you ask for.

This ain't no picturesque 50's themed diner, but the food is as good as you could ask for. Give it a try.

My family loves going here for breakfast. Just wish they would stop increasing the price of the specials.

I feel like I was being punked!!!…read more The vibe and the service was great but the food was terrible!! I felt so misled by yelp and Washingtonian!! The price point (145/165) is not deserved for what is served. I didn't want to leave a bad review but I didn't want people that actually go to fine dining establishments to waist their money. To be a little more specific on the food, everything was either too salty, disproportioned, frozen(deserts) , stale( bruschetta and the tuna tartar cone) or just not cooked well. I wish this place well, I will not be back. And I just want the young servers to know that their customer service was great, they were very polite and friendly.

My husband and I drove about half an hour on a Saturday night for dinner with another couple and…read moreAlias did not disappoint! The minute we walked in we were seated early and the staff was so friendly and welcoming immediately and the ambiance is very warm and chic. Multiple employees gave us friendly greetings. The Chef's tasting was tastefully prepared and there were some additional items not on the menu. The Japanese milk bread was delicious too! I really loved the rockfish and the Braised short rib. Each course was beautifully presented and the seasoning and flavors were perfectly balanced. We were really impressed. The chef came out to introduce himself and it was nice to be able to compliment him in person. He's been there just over a month, I think, and he is doing a phenomenal job! This is such a welcome experience out west in the south. I highly recommend checking it out. It was about as good as Clarity in Vienna or 2941 in Falls Church. Dress was business casual and definitely a nicer place for more of a date night or special occasion. We wouldn't bring our children here. We were full at the end but not stuffed. Comfortably satisfied in our bellies for sure!

We are from Seattle so thrilled for the Seahawks! They simply dominated this whole season and especially last night! Keep up the good work, boys! This place is very nice has lots of overhead tv with a large dance hall and prominent stage for bands to play. Service or lack their of a definite issue especially at checkout, I gave a good tip and I said thank you, the staff did not even acknowledge-we were so happy with our experience- both watching the game and the band-but definitely dampened by the unfriendly staff at checkout. What's with the ´titude? We did not order food. We ate at UJ before coming here. When we arrived-place was full-and then this nice gentleman offered to share the extra chairs in his table which was really kind-it did set the great mood & vibe but not by the staff workers but rather of the good patrons to this place-and yes, drinks my hubby had were pricey $24 each time, he was charged 8 drinks so not sure about that-oh well, it was a fun night-well worth game watching the Seahawks play against SF and seeing the Reflex at the same time! Simply overload of joy!

I thought that the food and service here was great. My server was Dayane, and anytime I needed…read moreanything she was there for me. Drink was always replaced almost immediately, and I had frequent check-ins to make sure everything was good. The food was wonderful. I ordered the Sirloin Steak Tips & Crispy Shrimp. The sirloin tips come with mushrooms and onions. There was a great balance between the mushrooms and the onions - no more of one than the other. The steak was seasoned nicely and cooked perfectly. The fries were nice and hot, and salted well. I did say to cook the steak rare, twice, but the request was not heard, clearly, from the ticket. Oh well! No big deal. It was still flavorful and tender anyways! The shrimp is where things go downhill just slightly. I feel like the shrimp could have been so much better, and more plentiful. 5 shrimp compared to the full serving of steak, when you're paying for them both as a pair, seems a bit off-balance. The crispy mouth-scratching bread crumbing would be better off switched to a smooth tempura batter. Most of my complaints are within the purview of the corporation's portioning and quality control area. The inidividual IHOP staff at this location did everything right. Table was clean. Silverware was clean (Trust me! I used to be a dishwasher for the company!) Floors were clean. Staff were respectable and in good appearance (uniform-wise). I appreciate everything this location did to make my stay enjoyable, and provide me with a nice breakfast after a long shift at work!

We arrived around 8:00-8:30 PM and the service was a mess from the start. One employee took our…read moreparty size and never followed up, and another came later asking the same question with a rude, uninterested attitude. When we sat down, a nearby table was piled with dirty dishes that stayed there for a long time without anyone cleaning it. The staff was disorganized and careless. My kids' order couldn't be made because they "didn't have waffles," and the server added unnecessary rules about milkshakes and the Kids Free offer. Everything felt complicated for no reason. At checkout, the manager, Olga, argued that my IHOP reward couldn't be used, claiming she had "20 years working there" and had never seen it. After checking with the owner, she returned saying it could be applied. Very unprofessional overall. Experiences like this are exactly why self-service and AI systems will eventually replace waiters in places like this. Many customers simply want to order, eat, and leave -- without dealing with bad attitudes or confusion. That day will come. I will not be returning to this IHOP, and I do not recommend it.
