There is a great mix of name brand and designer styles, plus a really nice perfume selection that caught my attention. They had some sales but you're still going to spend money on the perfume . There is plenty of parking, which made the visit easy. I went on a Tuesday afternoon, so that may be why it was not crowded, but I appreciated being able to shop without long lines. I walk in and place was dimly lit... its was like 11am one Saturday morning. The store was a hot mess.. no sense of organization. Floors were cluttered and dirty. Who knows when the floor saw a mop. They sell a lot hba stuff at discounted prices. I didn't stay that long because it was too dusty inside.

Told my husband we would go to big lots as it expires on July 1st. The first time we went, I didn't find anything to buy. The second time, today, we have a get together at our place tomorrow, so I picked up some stuff. We get to the counter and it's not working. No wifi connection so husband and I both step outside to try and get the code. Ben said there's usually a bar code and usually doesn't take this long. My husband said to just make the purchase, but I came specifically to use the coupon, it would not be right not to use it! So I told Ben to put my stuff aside, and I'll come back when we get it to work as our house has great Wi-Fi and we thought that was the problem. We've been home for hours and it ain't working!! I told Ben to let management know it's really annoying. I said I'd be back once I had the $30 coupon for my $50+ (picked up about $100), but since it's not working & it was just stuff I picked up just to use the coupon, I'll see if I have more of my time to waste today. This is the total opposite of my first experience. I don't know if it's the system or if it's just a way to get customers in. I finally got the bar code when I tried at 9pm this night! We'll see if I have time to pick up again tomorrow. - I picked it up and the code worked, finally!

I saw there was a Francescas in the center across from the office I was working at that day. I knew my wife loved the company so I stopped there. Unfortunately they were not opened yet. As I was walking away the manager opened the door and asked if I wanted to come in. She stated she was done with her opening work and saw me looking in the window and then walking away. I thought perhaps she saw sucker written across my forehead and I would be given the sales pitch of all sales pitches. But that was not the case at all. Quite the opposite. The manager asked if I knew what I was looking for and I of course had no idea. I just mentioned that my wife loved Francescas and I had never been to one. I said "I guess a gift card isn't a good idea is it?" She laughed and gave me a few ideas. I found several things and asked her opinion. She was able to coordinate similar but different items and everything came together. She definitely has the knowledge of her product and has an eye for making "things" work together. I couldn't have figured it out. Besides being very helpful with the selection of items and opening up the store early she wrapped the items up in a gift bag for me. The gifts were a home run with the wife. I really thought I was going to be hounded the entire time I was there since I was the only one there and she opened early for me. That was just not the case. She left me to shop and helped me when asked. I honestly left there feeling that I would have received the same treatment whether I was the first and only customer or one of many. It is a rarity in the world of sales to find the right atmosphere where you don't feel pressure to buy and yet get treated as if you bought the entire store. I knew there was a fee four outsider clothes, but the website says it is no problem to alter them. They did not acknowledge my appointment..did not even ask for my name. Complained about that. "why didn't you dry clean this before you came here?" I did not know that was a thing..the website does not say so, and had I been allowed to speak, I would have said, "I have never owned my own suit before. But I was never allowed to finish anything. "You know it is going to take us at least three weeks right?" "Your website said up to 2 weeks for basic alterations, and that is what I need." "nope, three." "Ok I will take my business elsewhere." "No, wait, wait now. we can probably do it." "two weeks?" "Yes, we can do it." I start to explain again I have some considersn and questions.."so the tailor is going to talk to you about it. just hold up." Tailor comes out. asks what she is supposed to do. "I just want a standard classic fit for this suit at the hems and such." I had brought the shoes, the shirt everything. "I don't know how a suit is supposed to look on you, you have to tell me." WTF?? I am paying YOU money after making an appointment on YOUR website, and you do not know how a classic fit is supposed to look on me without me telling you??" "Looks fine as is. if you want something else, there's a chart." there were pictures of different hem lengths. I picked the one that my careful research had told me was the most formal. Finally she marked the sleeves, marked the pants. I did not dare ask for anything else from this nasty woman or the rude "host" of whatever you call the clown that stands around telling you how wrong you are but does not do any actual work or sewing. They seem offended I was even there, and offended I had some questions about suits since I had never owned one before. Terrible service, terrible attitude, totally incompetent and if I were not already pressed for time I would have left again. The only seem to want to help you if you already know everything there is to know about formal ware..which I did not, and was more than happy to explain. But they did not care about me looking good at all..theyt cared about me leaving. screw this place, and I would hope nobody would ever give them their business.
