One of the most cleanest clothing stores out there. Don't buy clothes from Amazon buy it from here. Great staff.

Its a decent location but the Bowie location is much better. One thing I like is that the store is clean and organized minus the shoe department, Ill mention that later on. They have great sales. I was able to get a nice kitchenaid mixer for my aunt at a bargain price. Its best to sign up to get email and text alerts. They carry a lot of nice housewares and deco for your house. The towels here are worth getting and they last a very long time. Clothing departments: mostly organized and I can find what Im looking for Shoes: its a Sh*t show. Sorry but this is the worst Kohls shoe department, I have ever been too. Shoes are everywhere, on the floor thrown everywhere. Disorganized, Adidas shoes will be mixed with other brands for example. There's rarely anyone working in this department, and the ones that you seen, hide in the stock room, no urgency to help or flat out tell you, something is out of stock without checking the stockroom or their computer etc. Checking out is a burden: lines remind me of the MVA and the cashiers aren't that friendly unless they are trying to pester you in signingup for their store credit card that has a high interest rate.. Unless Im in a hurry, Ill stick to Bowie location. They closed off the entrance near the shoe department, another bummer. read more

Shopping for Christmas presents can be one of the most stressful things to do. Especially when you're shopping three days out from Christmas. The presents you want are usually all picked over, the stores you go to are usually a mess, there's a horrendous overcrowding problem everywhere, and people are more aggravated than usual... However, my dad and my experience at Kohl's three days before Christmas was absolutely enjoyable! The store was clean, everything was fully stocked, and the workers were extremely friendly! Actually, it's the kindness from the workers that compelled me to write this review! They were so friendly and helpful! Upon checkout the cashier saw I had my phone out and told me to go to their website for an extra 15%! I cannot speak for Kohl's as a franchise but this store has always been well kept up and filled with friendly employees! read more

I went to Kohl's this morning and I wanted to get a Nike hoodie, when I entered there was only a size small and x-small in the woman's section, and I needed a size Medium, but in the men's section they had every color and size. I come here very often an there literally NEVER in stock,I asked a worker there to see if they had any in stock, but not a surprise, she said there were 0 left, I just think they need to have there stuff in stock more. read more

Kohl's is changing and not for the better. Take a look around on most days this location is completely empty with people but filled with useless clutter. This is what a retailer looks like that's heading to the dustbin of history to join the other chains such as Wards, A.C Moore, Sears, and Lord & Taylor. It's also obvious Kohl's is having an identity crisis. The place is disorganized, most men sizes are 38 and up. Also how many casual clothes does one need? Believe it or not Kohl's, some people still need reasonably priced dress clothes for work. Shocking, I know! Also they have now locked the side doors of this location, not sure why. Was it because of shoplifting or just lack of customers in the store? When you get to the registers you'll notice that one or two lines are open, if you're lucky! This wreaks of the tactics Kmart also had with registers, again another failed chain. Oh well, looks like the only reason to go there now is to take back Amazon purchases. Let me tell you about this Kohl's and what they did to me. I started working for them last week. I worked on Monday or Tuesday of this week and I was supposed to be working today which is Thursday. I had a tumble and hurt my back and my foot so I called them last night to let them know the manager said OK. This morning I was getting several phone calls from someone and when I called them back I think her name was Theresa. This woman told me that I haven't been to work all week and that she spoke with Erica who is the manager there and they decided to let me go. I said what are you talking about? I called in last night to let the man know wasn't going to be there today because I had a slip and I also have a doctors note and you're telling me that I called in and said that my car broke down and I haven't been there all week. What are you talking about. This woman said oh that's my mistake. Someone said your car broke down and you haven't been here all week. When you call someone to tell them something like that and you don't have your fact straight and you are a professional, you are so-called manager and don't even know what the hell you're talking about. I was so upset. I'm already in pain. I have a doctors note and you're telling me. I haven't been there all week when I was there on the day I was supposed to work and today I was supposed to work and could not make it because I hurt myself and had a doctors note and you're telling me something about my car broke down and I haven't been there all week. I told this woman like yours so you can take the job and shove it up. Your ass is what I wanted to say, but I just told her professionally I don't work for companies like this so I don't wanna work here. How disrespectful can accompany be to say they want to fire you for something you did not even Do, don't even have their information straight. How can you do that to someone who is in pain? I've visited several Kohl's stores over they years and I've never found anything I like, so I usually don't shop there. I was shopping online for a Belgian waffle iron and saw an advertisement for one at Kohl's for a really great price. It was regularly $40, on sale for $20. When I arrived at the store, I was able to find the cookware section, but not the waffle iron. It took a little effort to find an associate on the floor, which was frustrating. After a few minutes, I found a manager, who was able to get an associate to assist me. He found my waffle iron for me and it I was a happy camper. I'm pleased with the quality of the product, as well as the price. read more

I actually prefer this Kohl's more than the one at the Rio (Gaithersburg, MD) and the one in Aspen Hill, MD - there is a more wider selection here. The staff has been helpful - there are times where we have asked for things or where a section was located and the staff member provided the answer or was helpful. The times I have gone, I didn't see mess (except at times in the toy and shoe sections). read more

First of all, I have to say that I agree with most other reviews complaining about the mess in the store and the inadequacy of the staff in terms of answering questions, but this still does not put me off from giving a 5 star. Let me tell you why... 1- The complaints I listed above are generally true for almost all department stores and in many countries I visited. I rather prefer digging the stuff to find something myself than workers coming and interfering (like in Best buy). 2- Kohl's have a huge selection and the clearance sections are always rich, I bought 70% of what I purchased here from clearance sections. And if you are a shopping fan then you do not get bored here. (My non-English speaking mother in law spent 6 hours on a saturday and keeps asking us to take her there whenever we ask her what she wanted to do.) I am not that much of a fanatic but still I like this place. 3- It occasionally offers very generous discount coupons like 20% off or 10 dollar Kohl's cash for a 50 dollar shopping etc. When you add this to already over 50% discounted sale prices then I really wonder how this company ever profits at all.. 4- It has the most incredible returns policy I have ever seen in any brick and mortar store, (it can even compete with amazon-my all time favorite shopping destination- for customer satisfaction.) My father and I had bought sandals in the beginning of the summer (I had bought in may and he did in june) 2 months later both sandals detached from base but I kept using mine daily for another month until my father persuaded me to look for a return possibility. He had the receipt and I had nothing at all. So We went there together and I explained the situation, no questioning no bad attitude at all, they refunded the full price (it says you can return anything anytime for any reason at the back of the receipt) (Note: I am not one of those return perverts who buy an LCD TV on the day before the super bowl and return it the day after) I think this even deserves a good mark on its own. I was looking for 2 weighted blankets. I found one in the brand that I wanted, and the other blanket that was not the brand that I was looking for. The associate didn't even bother helping me carry two 18pound blankets. He instead pointed me to the register and told me he couldn't help me because he was too busy doing something else. Literally. I'm very pleased with the help that I received from the attendant at your Customers Service desk today. I called in search of a down vest that I found on your website. Although the information suggested that your store actually had a few of these vests in stock. The site wouldn't let me purchase. Seemed like a glitch of some sort. I'm adding a star onto my last review. It's been about 2 years and after a number of additional trips to this location, I can say they've improved but not by much. The dressing rooms are cleaner, don't have that gross urine smell anymore, and have been kept pretty clear in terms of clothing that's been tried on and left in there. I don't see any sales associates complaining on the floor anymore - in fact, I haven't seen any on the floor in some time. I don't know where they went. I still have never been asked if I need help with anything. And I still haven't been able to find an associate when I need assistance. The price checker is almost always broken. I wish the cashiers would stop hankering me to get a charge card after I've already said no. I know it's their job to be convincing, but after the third or fourth no, it gets annoying. Still, despite the downsides, the prices of the merchandise consistently have been great. And Kohl's Cash is a great concept. I guess you just get what you pay for when you come here in terms of service. read more

The employees here are so rude. When asked to talk to the manager, she was even worst. I tried to do a return and the cashier said "don't use your kohl's cash if you wanted to do a return then" . How am I suppose to know I was going to return the item? It's very unprofessional for an employee to tell me not to use my kohl's cash, as if I had the intention to return an item when I first bought it. Maybe kohl's should reconsider who they want to represent their store's name. Not only that, as I was trying to resolve the return issue with the manager, the cashier continued to jump into the conversation as if she wanted to argue. Just purchased $242 worth of merchandise with Denise and she was extremely rude about the fact that I had the audacity to ask for a price check on a pair of sandals that didn't have a tag. She literally huffed as we waited and told me I should have checked for the box or a sales associate in the shoe department (both of which I did before giving up and going to the checkout lane). Then she immediately rang them up once the price was confirmed without asking me whether or not I wanted to pay the $44 for the sandals - which I did not! So then was aggravated that she had to back the charge off. I have not been to Kohl's to shop in ages and after this experience, I do not plan to go back again ever. There was a mistake with a credit due and becuase of a 13 dollar balance due. Kohls decided to blow my phone up with 3 calls a day annoying me for 13 bucks. I could see if it was hundreds of dollars that was months overdue. This was 13 that was 30 days!!! I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I usually love kohls when when I mean I love kohls I mean I spend about two hundred a week shopping here. This is my first time at this location. I went looking for shoes there were so many empty boxes of shoes stolen open wrappers of chocolate in between the shoes and shoes were a mess and mismatch in the boxes. There was nothing over a size seven. Wasn't stocked well a complete mess! When I asked an associate to find a size she said they had my size in stock when she found just empty boxes that she had to go report were stolen. And it wasn't just one box it was a bunch. I attempted to log into my Kohl's account but it wouldn't accept my login information. Attempted set up a new login/password (couldn't tell which was causing the issue), but it asked for my acct number. Problem is, my card is MIA. I called Kohl's and they were more than happy to accept my payment by phone and will send me a new card (in about 10 days), but would not allow me to set up new login info without the card #. Told me to go a store and get a temporary card. Hey, Kohls - I've been a customer for 20+ years - I'm sure you have plenty of identifying information in order to confirm my identity and set me up with a temporary pw so I could have established new login info. Customer service offered by both Anthony (exchange) and Tang (on the floor) on 12/7/16 (Thursday) at 10pm were superb. Anthony from the exchange checked to make sure the product for exchange was available in the store and provided frequent update. Tang from the floor who helped me find the exchange area helped me again to thoroughly search the inventory to bring the product from the storage. Having been exposed to multiple stores during this holiday, this Kohl's stored offered one of the best customer services I've experienced. Thank you! read more
