I am not a big fan of shopping for clothes. Ok, in fairness i hate shopping for clothes. The experience at Mens Warehouse is one i have had many times in the past. I've yo-yoed with my weight for many years. Although, in fairness i haven't regained all the weight since my first big diet 30 years ago. But with weight loss and style changes it was time to get my wardrobe updated. Our representative was amazing. I am very happy to say the experience was the best i've ever had. My office was relocating to downtown DC and I was interested in elevating my wardrobe a bit. first time in there I met Jay. Energetic young gentleman. Immediately took my measurements and asked me if I had anything in mind. I said " No show me what you can come up with" He threw this Shirt, Pants and jacket together in no time. I had never heard of some these brands but I have been back twice for another pair of Pants and another shirt. Jay was there the last time I was in and showed genuine enthusiasm to see me. Went to Men's Warehouse to get measured for a wedding. Although we weren't immediately greeted by any staff member, we received help not too long after. After completing a transaction for another customer, Torrell (sp?) helped us out. He retrieved a piece of paper for us to write down all of the numbers. He provided us a few different sizing options which was helpful so we can finalize based on what is being ordered for the groomsmen. Thanks for your help Torrrell! read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. We made an appointment came in looking for a couple suits. Our greeting was "were busy" in a dismissive tone. What is the point of an appointment to just be dismissed by what seemed to be the manager. He didn't even ask us if we had an appointment or said look around while we finish up. Made an appointment to look at men's wedding tux's and the customer service was horrendous. Ended up having to gather our own items to try on and nobody seemed to want to help us. We're only able to try on jackets and vests, nobody offered to help us with the pants. Wouldn't recommend going here if you need help with wedding selections. Won't be returning. read more

Suit looked great but the service needs a lot of work before I'll ever go back.. In November I stopped by to get fitted for my sisters wedding. I was paired with a young man who did an excellent job but I could tell he was new and very raw. While we were there my now wife and I decided to pick what my tux would look like for our wedding. Everything was great but little did we know it would all come tumbling down. About a month before our wedding I hadn't heard anything from MW so I decided to check in and make sure they had my sizes from the previous fitting as promised. I didn't know I was walking in to being "semi-scolded" by a gentleman because they did not have my sizes and they could not find me in their system.. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and told myself to move on. They had my sizes now with plenty of time to fit it right. Fast forward to two days before my wedding. I go in and meet with another young gentleman. I was able to try everything on and was even able to make a tiny adjustment to get a fitted shirt rather than one of those silly stretch collars. I did teach the employee how to hang dress pants on a hanger rather than throwing them on there.... but....still... all good! Now here is where the world will come crashing down.. We are now 3 hours before my wedding and 1 hour before I'm supposed to start with the photographer. I unzip my tux bag and BOOM... there is NO vest... the gentleman who helped me try it on 2 days prior just so happened to miss putting it back in the bag and failed to do a quality check to ensure it was all there as it needed to be.. I gathered up all the niceness I could find and gave them a quick call.. after being bounced around to a few different people on the phone they were able to find a solution and bring me the missing vest but by that point they had already nailed the coffin shut. Gotta give a shout out to the folks here, especially Nellie, the in-house tailor. We were in town (from across the country) for a wedding a few weeks ago and I hadn't tried my suit on for about a year. Well, I didn't realize I had 'grown' enough over that year that I could barely get the pants buttoned (Keep in mind, I have barely put on 15 pounds since high school, 20-years on, so I had no reason to believe I'd be in danger of outgrowing any clothes). The suit was from France, so even if I had caught the sizing issue days before, I wasn't taking it back to where I got it to fix the issue. We were supposed to catch the shuttle to the wedding location in just under an hour(!!) so I thought I was screwed, and I'd have to hope that I didn't pop a button and lose my pants during the wedding. On a recommendation from my brother, I looked up Men's Warehouse. He said he had previously called his local store and they took care of him quickly, so I decided it was worth a shot. I found this location through a quick search and called them immediately, and frantically told the fellow on the other line my issue. Luckily they were 0.8 miles away. He said to come right in and they'd help me. And boy did they ever. Within 35 minutes (full round trip from the hotel), I had pants that fit perfectly thanks to Nellie's quick work and their unconditional kindness and attentiveness. Everyone there was unbelievably accommodating. Also keep in mind that this was during prom/graduation/wedding season, and I've never seen a MWH store that packed. And they still managed to take care of me as if I was the only person there. The one guy even pressed my jacket and gave me better hangers for the suit, since it was still on the wire hangers from the dry cleaner!! Total pros. I've already had great experiences with MWH from when we got tuxes there for our wedding, but this episode has won me over for life. You'll have my business forever because you went so far above and beyond my expectations. Thanks staff, thanks staff, thanks Men's Warehouse!! You literally saved my a$$!! read more

When I went to pay the remainder I was told with attitude that I still owed $160. Didn't sound right but I was assured that this was correct. A day later and after searching through my records found that I was correct. Went to get a refund. And they will hold my money for 3-5 business days. This Mens Warehouse is amazing. I ordered a custom suit with Toader who I believe is the manager and he was extremely helpful in deciding and guiding me to the perfect suit for my big day. I called me once the suite was in and made sure I was taken care of. I leave in 3 days as I'm having a destination wedding, when I try on my pants I wished they where a little shorter. NO PROBLEM! They marked up the pants and told me they will have it ready for me tomorrow by 4PM. I do a little browsing around for a shirt and while doing so the seamstress (can't recall her name, very sweet Asian lady) called my name from the back! Me being confused by this poked my head in and she said "don't worry about this I'll take care of it now" with a pin in her mouth and my pants under the sowing machine already... Long and behold 5min later my pants fit PERFECTLY!!!! Don't even get me started on the jacket... Im an average size build with a little extra in the belly are but this jacket made me look nice!! The way the sides where tapered in, amazing! Toader and his team made this experience so much easy than I thought and I will make sure to visit them again for any future needs. read more

My son went in for a tux for prom. They took people before him who came in after him. he has no idea what he ordered. They cannot find his order. They do not answer the phone half the time. No one knew how to help me when I did call. Would leave me on hold 10 or more minutes, hoping I would hang up because they did not know what to do. Left multiple messages for manager to call me to help me out but no one ever called. Worst customer service ever. read more

My son needed a suit, and went to JCPenneys first. There was absolutely no one to assist him in that department so we went to Men's Warehouse. We were greeted by Edmund, who helped my son find the right fit, the right color and the right style for his needs. If Edmund isn't the store manager, he should be. I went back two days later with my husband, to purchase shirts. Edmund was with someone else, so we were assisted by a man whose name we never got. The shirts had to be ordered, and didn't show up on the day expected. I called and was told by someone that they had been delivered and he would text me a tracking number. After an hour, I called back and spoke with Edmund who was able to give me the accurate information. We are generally happy with the service we received, and were happy by the selection and styles presented to us. Seriously, though, Edmund should be the manager. He was able to answer all of our questions, and was able to assist his coworkers with questions they had while we were in the store. read more

I went in expecting the same thing I get in most stores: a person looking to score their commission and not be all too helpful in any meaningful way. What I intended to be a quick trip turned longer, only because Edmund insisted on being as helpful to what I really needed, several shirts that gave me a variety of looks, even suggested a tie that could complement the shirts well. When I was unsure about a fit, he not only let me try it on, which was not always the case for the off the shelf shirts (when I did this at Silver Spring location, they always acted like it was a huge hassle), but measured me to ensure I was even looking at the right shelf. Edmund and another gentleman made what was going to be a obligatory visit a true treat, where we discussed the custom suits they offer. I am not sure why I was so surprised these young men were so good, months earlier when I did the tux rentals for my wedding, Nancy Bolhoff had also given us exemplary service. The people at this store are really helpful. A while ago I got 3 suits and wardrobe consultant Hank Monti treated me right. I recently rented a tux there and they were great to work with in terms of trying it on, tailoring it etc. I got really sick after the party and was late returning the tux. They were really understanding despite me being several days late. They knew my face and knew I'd be back to shop there again if they treated me right. (Which they did!) The customer service I received from Nancy Bolhoff was exemplary! I had originally visited the Men's Warehouse located at Arundel Mills boulevard to get fitted for a wedding tux. That experience was beyond terrible. Everyone's suits were way too big because they didn't measure us properly and refused to taper the tux's and the suits weren't ready until 2 days before the wedding. Thankfully, this location in Frederick had TWO in house tailor's that were able to get us in good shape, the NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING!!!! We all ended up looking great!! Went in on 6/18 to look for a sports coat but ended up walking out due to the lack of customer service. We walked in expecting this to be a good experience but did not feel welcomed at all. To begin we were never greeted, we were standing around waiting to be acknowledged or at minimum say "We will be right with you" but we just seemed to be ignored. We stood in front of the cash register, again just being ignored and after walking away to explore one of the racks noticed a customer that walked in much later than us was helped immediately after walking in. At no point did any of the employees make an attempt to welcome us or ask if we needed help with anything. Not the "friendly customer support" that is advertised on their website!!! read more

This men's warehouse has its ups and downs. My boyfriend and I had a last minute wedding we were invited to. Keep in mind my boyfriend has outgrown his suit since his last wedding 10+ years ago- so that's what brought him to mens warehouse (2 days before the wedding) They had a deal going on - buy one get one 100$. The employee Ryan was very knowledgable- my boyfriend was a fresh canvas so he did a very good job starting from scratch, measuring, sizing, matching, and selling. So my boyfriends mother insisted on paying for the suits- and planned to come the next day. She came and she paid for the suits- at least she thought she did- and also bought a gift card so he could pick out a shirt as well. So we were to come back when the clothes were done being hemmed and once I had picked out my last minute dress so he would know which shirt would match it. We arrived the night before the wedding, which gave them two days to be hemmed. He chose the shirts he wanted, and a tie. There was a young man in there who was trying to be as helpful as possible, he was definitely new, and then managers (i think) were standing around chatting, for they were reaching the last 15 minutes before close and it was quite dead in there. We explained how Ryan had picked out, sized, and hemmed the clothes and they were just waiting for pick up. The boy was confused and had no clue where the suits were and was unknowing of the situation. Finally found the suits and we explained how my boyfriends mother had paid for the suits. Long story short the boy rang up the shirts and tie we had picked out, and was trying to figure out how the gift card worked. Long story short, the manager came over and helped him figure it out, and said "ok your gift card balance is $1000! Why don't you stay for a while!" We were confused, and asked him to double check for his mother was only to have enough on the gift card for the shirts and tie. Well, come to find out she couldn't prepay she could only get a gift card or something like that? So she put enough in the gift card for everything and went on her way. If you're not getting the point yet- the boy almost let us walk out with 2 free suits for they hadn't actually been paid for yet. I felt so bad for the boy, right in front of us one of the managers kind of embarrassed him and told him "never do that ever again!" Of course he did make a big boo boo, but that confrontation should be done in private.. So then we are getting ready to leave, the manager double checks and the suits have NOT even been hemmed.. I guess you can't hem them until it's been paid for? So we were VERY thankful he had double checked, however that was another strike for the young new boy. They were quickly hemmed in 10 minutes- no big deal! Since we spent so much money, we were qualified for a $50.00 gift card that would be mailed within a few weeks. So now we were approaching my holiday Christmas party for work and my boyfriend wanted to go get a tie with his $50 gift card. The same young new boy was there. My boyfriends purchase was only 10$ and he wanted to know if he had to spend all $50 at once- the boy said no and explained how he would have a 40$ balance left over. A week later he went in to get something else, probably a hat he wanted, who knows. Ryan was there, the extremelyyyyy helpful gentleman from the first time. What do you know, my boyfriend pulls out the card and he says there is $00.00 on it, that you had to spend all $50 at once. Of course my boyfriend explained the false info he was given on his last visit. Ryan told him not to worry about it and he would override that and give him the $40 balance since he was misinformed. To sum it all up, Ryan was an all star A+ employee, and they probably need to spend a little more time training the new guy. & all issues with employees should be taken up in private. Other than that, we will continue to be loyal customers here thanks to Ryan! read more

I had big event and need suit. They did alterations and picked them up next day. I traveled to event and unfortunately when I checked my pants they where wrong pants and size. I was 10 minutes until event and had to borrow pants, totally humiliating. I should have checked before i left for event. my fault. When I called store and returned them for my money back, i did not get one apology for the inconvenience. So bad experience read more

Poor customer service, dismissive atmosphere, annoyed employees. Last night my boyfriend and I had the daunting and unfortunate task of buying a suit for a funeral. We were told by friends to try your establishment for a reasonably priced suit. Upon arrival, we walked around the store looking at all of the merchandise. None of your sales representatives came to speak to us or ask us of we needed any help - which we did! We split up and walked around to try and find an employee...may I add here that there was only one other customer in the store. After about 10-15 minutes I caught the eye contact of one of your female employees. She asked if it was retail....me, being new to this, replied "retail? What do you mean". Annoyed she said "retail or rental". When I told her we would be purchasing a suit her response was "I only do rentals" rather dismissively. Aggravated by this point, I asked her to find someone who could help me. We waited at the front of the store for approx. 5 minutes when she came back and dismissively told me it would still be a bit. I thanked her but told her that we were going elsewhere. We spent $500 at Jo.A.Banks last night where the customer service was as it should be in a retail establishment. You lost our business, you lost a big sale, and you have forever now lost a customer and any referral we may have given. read more

Never yelped before. Not a survey guy. But I was absolutely compelled to find a way that I could share my ultra satisfying and memorable experience with Mina Magsino of men's warehouse. I walked into the store, near closing time( Hated being that guy but had to do it). I was promptly greeted by Mina. I explained to Mina that I had a last minute opopportunity to attend a semi upscale event, at 2 pm, the following day. I reported that,despite my extensive collection of hooded sweat shirts and jeans. I needed a nice looking outfit to wear and had severe budgetary constraints. I'm not too knowledgeable of finer apparel, and the intricacies of men's fashion. Mina was so freaking helpful. She helped me find a sports coat and pants that I really liked and felt comfortable in. She managed to accommodate my severely limited budgetary constraints, although, she did find a shirt for me, that I really liked and went so well with my other items, that I had to splurge and purchase it. She helped me select items that were versatile, so that I could get more use out of them. Mina was so sincerely kind, down to earth and helpful. Mina has actually inspired me to put more effort into how I dress. I really feel excited to wear my new clothes tomorrow. So very impressed with the service, I'll find a reason to shop here more often and will refer all of my friends to seek out Mina. read more
