Ambiance is beautiful, I loved the mural and the indoor shade tree. Went for lunch w/ parents, one of us had trouble picking an entree b/c most had Brie, Blue, or goat cheese, which they don't like, but we all loved what we picked. All of us had plenty to eat and left completely satisfied. We will definitely be back! read more

A nice addition to the village! The food is fresh, delicious and generous. I had the steak sandwich, served on a crusty (but tender) French roll and served with potatoes au gratin and a mixed green salad. My friends enjoyed their breakfast sandwich and omelette. Service was good and the owner stopped by to chat. The interior has been updated to provide an intimate atmosphere. Very nice local dining spot. read more

Hi this is Dean appetit, we're going to give you a play-by-play of Gabachos . I just walked in the door with very well serviced to be seated . I've had my Chardonnay delivered yummy. I've decided on the wild cut halibut so of course little bit of a dry Chardonnay would be great with that. I hope to be? continued. !!! The atmosphere is very wonderful , music is very catchy and smoothing.. Very excited for my meal right now okay the hell of it has arrived and the presentation is phenomenal. I mean it looks so good. sometimes you just don't want to eat a perfect portrait, but I will be eating this so I will be back in a couple of minutes to let you know the text. I've picked a different chardonnay . The food is so good,, elephant not too dry. very well cooked flaky with a sauce and keepers. that's phenomenal. potato agua is phenomenal. yeah, I'd give this a five for a beginning establishment easily. bon appetit. read more

Absolutely love this place! Love the new look. Great variety on their menu. Dishes are beautifully presented & the food is amazing. The avocado toast was delicious!! Fabulous soups! My only complaint is "spring mix" for salad. Hopefully they will switch to romaine or iceberg maybe with a touch of arugula. Everything else we tried was top notch! Parking is a drawback, but we can't wait to return! Welcome to the neighborhood! read more

We visited Gabacho for lunch today with friends from Glendora who had dined there before. We each had a libation (beer, wine & prosecco) before ordering our lunches. My friend had the vegetable risotto, her husband had the De la Mer risotto (seafood), my husband had the jalapeno burger, and I had the BBQ chicken salad. Each was delicious and the portions were portions. The server, Ivan, was superb...very attentive! Definitely a must next time I'm back in my Hometown! read more

The good: The panini was good, on par with a sandwich place. The staff was friendly and attentive. The decor was nice. The bread was good The bad: the pasta de la mer was sub par - thin sauce, under cooked scallops, dry salmon, tiny portion. The scalloped potatoes had an odd flavor (nutmeg I think) and the serving size was miniscule. The side salad had unripe mango, strawberries, and tomatoes - it was just odd and not very good. The bread came late and the butter was in those cheap little packets. Overall: I get the feeling this place can't live up to the standards (or price) it's set. It seemed like everything was made by an amateur trying to seem fancy while cutting corners on ingredients and the little things that can make such high prices justified. Score: would be 3/5 at half the cost but it's got to lose a point for being over-priced. I would love to see this place become what it promises. read more

Date night ambience. Only wine and beer. The wine was from Chile . Delicious. The frogs legs with the jalapeno aioli was delicious! Pasta Bolognese was authentic and fresh. The bread for the sandwiches was crispy and soft at the same time! The chili mayo for the chicken salad made the sandwich unique. Instead of fries they give you potato au gratin, delicious! The creme brûlée is yummy. Service was attentive. read more

This place was amazing! The food was delicious and the employees were so nice. The decor was also beautiful and the seats were very comfortable. It's so exciting to see a new restaurant in our quaint village. With that said, because it is new, it seems like there were a few glitches that the staff had to deal with, but that's expected from a new place. On the day I went, I felt horrible for one of the waitresses because she had to deal with a rude customer who was inpatient and complaining about their food taking too long. I get that, but no need to be disrespectful especially when the waitress apologized over and over for the inconvenience. Hopefully, that person never returns. The restaurant is better off without low class customers. These restaurants and local businesses deserve our love and support. Stay kind to each other. read more

Lack luster and service was mid at best. I ordered the pate and it ok a bit flat with a couple of cornichons and very basic piece of bread (a real baguette would elevate this dish) see the effort but there was no follow through. Gabacho has potential. However, if you are going to add an element of French cuisine best to button up your dishes before actually offering them and maybe adding a few more for us foodie purist out here. read more

One of the newest restaurants in the Village, Gabacho is at the top of my list of places to eat. Their service is wonderful. Enrique goes above and beyond to make your dining experience memorable. The comfy booths in the dining room give you the privacy you might be looking for on a date night. The food...oh yum! The last time we were there we had the halibut. It was tender and flaky and so tasty! And don't get me started on the crème brûlée! The best! You're missing out if you haven't made it to Gabacho! read more

My family had brunch at Gabacho this morning and we very happy with the menu selection, service and the quality and creativity of the food. We had a Monte Cristo Crepe, Croque Madame, Guatelman Chorizo Omlet and a Banana Coconut Crepe with ice cream, chocolate sauce drizzle and whipped cream! All of these dishes were excellent and we highly recommend Gabacho, we will be back to have dinner. read more

My wife and I have been here for breakfast and dinner and both meals were incredible. Everything has been so good, including the first escargot we've ever tried, that at this point we have set a goal to come back and always order something new so that we can make our way through the menu! Our servers have been attentive and friendly and helped make both dining experiences great. We also had the opportunity to chat with David, the owner and chef, and he was a blast to talk to, the story of his career is a great one. Finally, David has done a wonderful job of updating the design of the restaurant. From the new booths, to the beautiful mural, and the unique tableware, everything is classy and welcoming and is just the anchor that the upper end of the village needs. Gabacho Review This was our first experience at Gabacho in Glendora, California, where we were greeted by a very warm staff. The host was very friendly, caring and accommodating to my husband's allergy related dietary restrictions, which for us is extremely critical and something that signals the presence of a well trained chef in the kitchen, who is ready to substitute ingredients and improvise. The menu was quite extensive, maybe a little confusing, but the host helped us navigate through it quite nicely. Among the three of us, we ordered fried calamari, escargot, salmon in lemon sauce, and a seafood pasta without the spices my husband can't have. Every dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The only issues we have were the background music selection, which was not appealing to any of us and was quite loud, precluding our ability to converse without having to raise our voices to be heard. Also, even though most the portions were generous, my sister and I felt the amount of potatoes au gratin accompanying the dish was unusually small and should at least be double in size. Nonetheless, we are excited about having found a quality, high end restaurant near us, which we plan to visit again. read more

Took the family to lunch today for Mothers day. We waited over an hour from sitting down for our entrees. We had to leave due to time restrictions and requested the lunch be boxed to take it with us. When I checked my meal it was not as ordered. Although my family got something to eat I walked out paying $116.00 and got nothing but a glass of water. read more

Their omelettes were really good! I had the omelette with onions, bell pepper, bacon, and Gouda and it was wonderful! My mom had the meat lovers omelette and she said it was the best chorizo she's had. Their orange juice was good but it's very pulpy...otherwise the flavor was refreshing. The interior is really cute the way they decorated it. I will definitely be coming back to try their lunch/dinner options and their crepes. read more

I wanted to try the new place in town. Cute restaurant, neutral on the service but okay. Also food is okay, escargot not good though too slimy. Very good beverages With decent selection. As a long time resident and French-Spanish woman I do not understand why you use a derogatory name for your place? Unless it was intentional? Or you think no one local will know the meaning? We have many progressive people in this city and try to spread only kindness and compassion to all. I hope you consider this, would be nice to see a French style restaurant last here. have eaten there five times so far. Have had the halibut, lemon, salmon, orange salmon, all wild, chicken, and the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, as well as the artichoke Parmesan appetizer. Everything has been absolutely amazing, and I would highly recommend the restaurant. Service needs to improve, but they've only been opened a few weeks so I know it will get better. read more

Long time Glendora resident here. Not usually into the extreme changes going on nowadays but, Gave this place a try and I can honestly say that every single entree I tried was a BIG 10! I hope this place will thrive and put as much pride into every meal they serve. It is delicious...Yes...Even the escargot. We will defiantly be back.
