Great tasting crepes from sweet to savory. Service is friendly and quick. It's a nice place to go and unwind, chill, enjoy the outdoors in their outdoor seating area or enjoy the inside area with nice decor. Staff is attentive and professional. Food presentation is beautiful. Will definitely come back again.

New to the area. We tried it, and it was just ok? For the price point, it's a bit over priced. The food was half and half, in regards to there are bits we liked and bits we didn't like. We got the chicken mushroom, the chicken with mushroom sauce was great! The side of potatoes and super dry salad was just ok. Not worth the price, I would want like a bougie salad but was just a plain salad. The potatoes were like scalloped potatoes, it was small and generic. We also got this seafood pasta. The seafood was cooked well, but gave the tiniest piece of salmon with no skin. The cream sauce was so watery and the pasta was bland. Again, not trying to be that person but for that price point maybe fresh pasta or something. The dessert dish leveled it out. We got the crème brûlée French toast, that was superb. It was done well to where you don't even realize they used a French baguette as the toast instead of the usual brioche. I would recommend this dish. Because of this dish, we thought about maybe coming and giving a second shot at the breakfast because half the menu seemed like breakfast. Restaurant was clean, staff was nice and tentative. Manager was very active to some of the other tables. All in all, I don't think it's worth the price.

great new spot at the end of the downtown glendora strip. Got the lemon salmon with au gratin potatos. great food and a nice interior and sidewalk patio seating make this the perfect date night spot. friendly staff. Good to see a new place in town that does not disappoint.

Gabacho in Glendora Village is such a great addition to the area. The restaurant is beautiful inside with a welcoming, upscale vibe that works for both brunch and dinner. We started with an Arnold Palmer and strawberry lemonade both refreshing and well balanced. For food, the mango goat cheese salad was fresh with a nice mix of sweet and tangy. The Vache sandwich was the standout for me super soft, juicy steak with a rich mushroom sauce that brought everything together perfectly. The La Diabla pasta was also flavorful with a nice kick. We ended with the French toast, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside definitely a great way to finish the meal. Overall, a really solid dining spot with unique flavors. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

Omigosh, EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD! A little pricey, but scrumptious. The ambience is lovely in a bougie way. Everyone in our party of 7 loved what they had. FYI, if you're going for frog legs I'd call and check first... I believe it's no longer on the menu

Made it out to Gabacho for their opening day dinner!!! Absolutely beautiful revamp on what was Glendora's Village Eatery location! Loved the warm lighting and decor and the beautiful wall murals. Would've preferred some sort of French café inspired music for the ambience, but instead we were listening to what sounded like wedding dinner music. He got the chicken breast plate with mushroom and it was plated beautifully!! The au gratin was delicious, but lacked a lil seasoning. The salad could of used more dressing. I ordered the carbonara pasta and it was rich, and creamy, with the egg yolk to mix in to my pasta. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive! And we enjoyed being greeted by Nelson, as well as Chef David! Been stalking Gabacho for awhile now on INSTAGRAM and I look forward to coming back for breakfast soon!!! Welcome to Glendora Gabacho!!! You were delicious!!!

This place just opened on Thursday, and having lived in France. We wanted to come and check out the quality of the food and whether it really is true French style. We were very excited as the quality of the food was excellent, the service was on point and the management were regularly walking around, asking for feedback and checking in on customers. It was a wonderful experience, and the ambience was very nice for families, couples for all types of occasions. This place serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. There's a great choice on the menu! My only wish is that an Oat Latte should not cost $8.49, that is too much for a local restaurant.

Made reservation for Friday dinner and glad we did, as the place was quite popular and almost every table was full. Gabacho has been open for less than two months and still working on kinks but has lots of promise. We had seafood risotto, salmon tacos, la diabla pasta and salmon ala almendra. The diabla pasta was quite spicy and lots of meaty ingredients. I requested the seafood risotto without cheese, lots of seafood though the rice tasted less than arborio and more like calrose rice. Salmon ala almendra was very large portion though a bit overwhelming with the sweet orange sauce. We shared a creme brulee, tasty and reminded me more of a crema Catalun. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at a nicely decorated restaurant.

The food was fresh, light and extremely tasty. Went to this new restaurant and I suspect that they did not expect a huge dinner crowd since they only had one waiter with a helper.... Ambience was great! Will definitely come again! Nice twist of French cuisine with a Latin flare.

When I say "wow," I truly mean it. This venue is absolutely stunning, definitely picture perfect with amazing service that enhances the entire experience. The atmosphere gave us nothing but a warm feeling. Their food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. I was especially impressed by their fresh squeezed orange juice. As someone who genuinely appreciates high quality orange juice, I was initially hesitant after reading a less favorable review. However, I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations and was among the best I've ever had. I look forward to returning again soon.

A wonderful addition to downtown Glendora that we were excited to try. We dined on a beautiful Friday night. The patio was full and a musician was playing. Inside the decor was comfortable with private booths in green, a green flowered mural on one wall, and a tree of leaves moving up the ceiling - though fake, was well executed. Pleasant music played in the background. The service was well-timed with someone greeting us immediately and water served promptly. We brought our own wine and there was a reasonable corkage fee. The dinner was delicious. I had the Risotto Del Mar and my husband had the Halibut. We are looking forward to our next visit. My only suggestion to the owners is to serve the bread before the meal (vs with). It also could benefit both businesses if a wine deal was struck with Coco Vino down the street.

Gabacho is a French / Latin American restaurant in Glendora, California. Gabacho has a very comfortable atmosphere with soothing background music and is a great place to carry on a conversation. The owner and chef, David, was warm, welcoming, and very friendly, as well as all of the other staff members. We had the escargot appetizer and the artichoke dip. The escargot, which is one of my favorite dishes, was cooked in garlic, butter, lemon, and parsley. It was awesome. If you've never tried it, try it! And if you had it anywhere else and didn't like it, keep in mind not every place that serves escargot knows what they're doing. Gabacho, in Glendora, California, is not one of those places! The flavors were awesome. The escargot was tender, not chewy, the best I've had in recent memory and a very long time. The artichoke dip was also tasty and served with tortilla chips; however, I believe it pairs better with the bread that they serve. I wanted to try the frog legs. Yes, they have that as well, but they were out. I plan on trying the frog legs next time I go. The two entrées that we ordered were the chicken breast with the piccata madeira and mushroom sauce and the risotto de la Mer with fresh salmon, scallops, and shrimp in the De La Mer sauce. Both entrées were delicious, presented with a touch of class fit for a king and/ or queen. The portions were perfect at what I believe to be a very reasonable price. Another patron had ordered the ribeye steak with salad, and oh man, did that look good! I totally plan to return and try several more of the menu items. Gabacho's is my new favorite place.

We ordered a main and the Aitaxi or set up for $7 since it included Beef Tongue Escabeche which is a Basque signature dish. 1) Lukainka with Sauce Basquaise is a must get. Rough ground pork butt sausage seasoned with salt, black pepper, and garlic. Snappy skin and meaty texture are a pleasure to bite into. Sauce Basquaise on the side is tomato, garlic, olive oil, pimento, onion, white wine. 2) Oxtail Stew is slow braised for hours in red wine and tail bone supplying a fond de cuisine/broth, perfumed with touch of onions & carrots. Check if they are open also as they are only open on certain days and only for dinner I think. Once I went there they turned us away because I think the kitchen was closed for dinner.

The decor may not be modern or trendy, but the food is comforting, reasonably priced, and gives that nostalgic neighborhood French restaurant vibe. One thing I really appreciated is that the main entrée comes with soup of the day, a simple salad, bread, and coffee -- hard to find that kind of full-course experience nowadays. We started with the escargot and it was honestly the highlight for me. The garlic butter and herbs were so flavorful, and dipping the warm bread into the sauce made it even better. Le Potage du Jour - Split Pea Soup Les Escargots de Bourgogne - Snails, Garlic Butter & Herbs Le Canard au Grand Marnier - Roast Duckling with Orange Sauce La Carré D'Agneau Bergerie - Roast Rack of Lamb with Garlic Crust Soufflé au Grand Marnier The lamb and duck were decent and nicely portioned, though next time I'd probably explore some of their other dishes. The Grand Marnier soufflé was a nice sweet finish to end the meal. They also have their own parking lot, which is always a plus. Just note they're only open Thursday-Sunday after 5pm, and reservations are definitely recommended especially during weekend.

It makes it difficult to exit when there's other people dining there and waiters moving around. Loved all of the cat decorations and how they kept the red theme going. It's quite dim, but personally that's preferable to it being extremely florescent and bright. Service: Johannes was very pleasant. Food: We came because we wanted to eat escargot. Our favorite French restaurant, Le Gourmet in Upland closed in 2024 or 2025 so we needed to find a new French place. The lamb loin in lingonberry sauce was wonderfully complex with the savory cheese complemented well by the sweet lingonberry. The escargot was perfect. The only caveat was that we tried the pastries of the day -- one was a puff pastry, forgetting the flavor/name and some kind of cake, maybe Napoleon? We did not care for the desserts at all, if I were to get another dessert I'd probably stick with the crème brulée. The bread and salty whipped butter were delicious, seemed house-made? The bread was slightly sweet and I had to hold myself back from gorging on it. Parking: Parked in a nearby garage for $20. I think there was an event going on.

Another incredible meal at Le Chat Noir. We ordered the greatest hits: the Voil au Vent (scrumptious!), the rack of lamb with herbs, the French Onion Soup + bread service, and the special of the day which was swordfish served with capers and a white wine sauce, and a rosemary risotto. The food was excellent, as always: perfectly sized and seasoned portions, with high quality products worthy of the price point. The meats were perfectly cooked to medium, juicy and just the right balance of firmness and melt in your mouth softness. Incredible! We will be back again, and again, and again. Merci Le Chat Noir!

This review is based on my visit on the morning of Valentine's Day…read more This place popped up on a search for coffee in the area. It was only a 2 minute walk from where we were so we decided to check it out. On the outside was a holiday themed drink menu and the Butter Me Up sounded like something we'd enjoy. It was a cookie butter latte which whipped cookie butter and a cookie crumble on top. It may sound very sweet but it was actually perfectly balanced and allowed the strength of the espresso to come through. The barista was very kind and patient with us. She also let us know that they were hosting a karaoke night later that day. We waited in the patio connected to the cafe for our drinks. It was a very lovely day so the sun and scenery was nice and peaceful. Definitely looking forward to another visit

I've been a regular customer here for quite some time and have always made a purchase when…read morevisiting, whether it's a coffee, Coke, or food. Today, my friend and I ordered a Coke and an ice water and sat in the lounge area to work on assignments. The café was far from full, with only a couple of other people in the lounge and plenty of open seating available. After about an hour, the owner came over and rudely told us we were "holding two tables over a Coke" and pressured us to order more. I understand businesses need customers to make purchases, but there is a respectful way to communicate that. What made the situation worse was that after I ordered a coffee, she immediately turned to my friend and basically stared him down with a strict look, clearly expecting him to order something too. I explained that we were going to split the coffee, because we're both trying to lose weight, but she continued making the situation uncomfortable. Staring down a customer and making them feel pressured to spend more money is not how you treat paying customers. What makes this even more frustrating is that the menu is already severely overpriced for what is offered. On multiple occasions, I've heard the microwave running while food was being prepared. Paying premium prices for what appears to be microwaved food is disappointing enough without being pressured to spend even more. Even though we only ordered a Coke initially, and have only done that once before, we were still spending money. As regular customers who come here often, you would think that would be appreciated rather than criticized. Be thankful people are still choosing to spend money at your business. Honestly, after today's experience, it's no wonder this place is often empty. Customer service and hospitality matter, and making customers feel unwelcome, guilty, or pressured to spend more is a great way to drive them away. The interaction was uncomfortable enough that I asked for my food to be packed to go and left. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. It's a cafe, not a 5 star restaurant. People want to come here to work on assignments or have a coffee and talk. Even though I didn't want to spend 9 dollars on a coffee, I still purchased something. Edit from her Google response: Now you guys see what type of owner she is by her response. Truly, truly a fake person, and we always spend money coming here (now she wants to lie and manipulate since I have her attention). I always purchase a coffee and more, and I have receipts to prove it. I do not use her WiFi for free, as I am not a rude person unlike her. I don't just order a soda like this owner claims; see my receipts on my credit card. My friend and I ordered drinks and were talking and doing assignments for about half an hour (while she and her waiter came up to us like 10 times to ask us to order, even though this is a cafe), even though we said we would order later. If you're broke, just say so, lady. Trust me, at this rate, this place will close down soon. Like I said, this is a cafe where people come to have a drink, relax, talk, study, or work on assignments; not a restaurant where customers are expected to order a full meal every time they sit down. We purchased drinks, planned to order more later, and were still repeatedly approached and pressured to order. Please do yourself a favor and stop lying to the public. I did not come here four times and just use the WiFi. I paid for the WiFi with my extremely expensive and disgusting coffee and food, which is shown below in the receipts. I did not buy $2 sodas every time. The receipts I attached are from my card, but on many of the other visits my friend paid with his card and spent just as much. So trying to claim that we were sitting here for free or only ordering a soda is simply not true. Now that I have proved you wrong in front of the public, I hope everyone sees you for who you are. You are a money-hungry liar! Lastly, you are right; you're not Starbucks. Starbucks would not treat customers that way, and I'd much rather spend my money at Starbucks anyway.Glad we're on the same page!
