Fuzzys taco shop was very friendly and had information about gluten allergies when we visited. We were a bit confused at first because you get your receipt to get your chips and salsa if you ordered it, but the employee expediting the food was super nice. We are from California so this isn't considered authentic, but we weren't worried about that because the food was inexpensive and pretty tasty after a long travel day! I wish I had more room to finish my nachos. I will definitely return again when I have the craving for some quick Mexican food. We felt like there was enough seating even though it was very busy, and each table provided paper towels and different hot sauces. read more

The pregnant bartender was the only re-deeming quality of the new fuzzy's. Clearly all the positive reviewers have not been to an original Texas location or a front range location in the last decade. The current staff didn't listen during training and the several years they had to open this location clearly want enough to do a good job. The drinks were horrible and the service was non existent. The poor bartender took our order and had to wait for each of the 3 drinks to be made by another party. It was between 7 and 12 minutes before we received each of them. I have never ordered a drink at a fuzzy's in the past where it wasn't made by the person i ordered it from. While I watched the trainees make our drinks in the well, I read the ingredient list. I noticed they neglected to put triple sec in any of my drinks, even thought the menu listed it as an ingredient. During our entire experience the owner or franchisee lady in ripped jeans with the tude would come behind the bar and pour herself a drink and not acknowledge any of the customers. Then she would return to her laptop. She then spoke with the assumed manager. He sat next to her and stuffed his face with food while they talked about "numbers". All while they ignored the customers that surrounded them. I would never go behind a bar where I worked, owned, managed, or represented and not greet the people paying my bills. The food was OK and it was very very slow. This will be the third restaurant that will fail in this location recently solely based on lack of effort and oversight. read more

The queso and fajitas are delicious. Sadie makes the best skinny marg I've ever had. The service from the entire staff is spot on! We love to hang out and enjoy the great ambiance of the mountain views! read more

First time here they got my order wrong. Second time G and I stopped by after the movie because Regal cinema is right next door. A lot of people are drinking frozen margaritas with beers tipped upside down inside the glass. Wine selection is very minimal. There are lots of sports TV, so if you want to watch sports, your game is probably on. Service is ok. We sat at the bar and the bartender asked us what we wanted. When we started to order, she said hold on, because she needed to get something to write down our order. read more

Plastic utensils? Seriously? Don't eat here. Definitely my last visit. The service was fast and the staff friendly. The food was as expected. Not great but enjoyable. But I refuse to patronize a business that hands me 3 pieces of plastic wrapped in plastic to eat my meal. It's unfortunate that this is considered okay. read more

Tacos were amazing. I got the chicken fajitas and they hit the spot. Sides were simple but tasty too! I like the habanero sauce. Only reason I'm leaving 4 stars is because I got up to get my food from the window, but the bus person threw away my soda I had left sitting on the table. read more

$26 I will never get back for trash food. After waiting for rude service, and then waiting 20 minutes. The food disappointed in every way. Queso was cold, birria was tough. Like, old dude behind the register didn't even try to be friendly but was very nice to the white men behind us. Maybe, he was racist, IDK. But I do know I won't be back read more

I remember the first time I called my mother and told her I had eaten a Fuzzys taco. After calming my father down (I kept hearing "that's my boy!" in the background), my mother told me that she was proud of me but I probably shouldn't talk to my parents about something like that. I said no worries mom, and I told her about the nachos instead. Margarita options and a bar with super friendly staff ready to help make you forget that it's an election year. Always polite and never a bad drink. The food menu is just as expansive, with Mexican fusion plates to meet anyone's need. The sides are always delicious, and don't forget the special Fuzzys dust on the chips. Some say it was discovered in the jungles of Peru in 1923, it must be true because Facebook never lies. Regardless of origin, delicious. If you have continued to read this please stop immediately and go get some god damn tacos. read more

I have gone to Fuzzy's Longmont from time to time and been pretty satisfied. However, I went tonight and noticed an additional service charge on the bill. I asked what this was for, and the bartender was vague but basically said that it was for paying the employees benefits. I do not pay the employees; the restaurant does. Plus, there is a tip jar at the counter for service that I have to walk up for. This will be my last trip there; ever. There are still plenty of fun restaurants that do not charge those fees. read more

One thing that I despise, is being falsely accused of something that is inaccurate. Do NOT spend your hard earned money here. Came to celebrate a friend's special day. Ordered one alcoholic beverage and some food for our table. When I went to order a second drink, Bethany, the small and thinks she's mighty bartender or server or "manager", or whatever she is, told me I was not allowed another alcoholic beverage. I explained to her I had one alcoholic beverage, and ordered food, and I wasn't sure why I wasn't allowed a second. She then lied to me, and told me I had ordered two drinks, and all she could offer me was a soda or water. For the record, I had not ordered two alcoholic drinks. I ordered ONE for me and a soda for a friend. I tried to plead my case, since I was not intoxicated, and we were in the middle of a celebration, but apparently Bethany felt I was laughing or smiling too much... and she knew better. Then, when I asked to speak to a manager, as I was speaking to the manager, she scurried over and promptly kicked me out, telling me I was being "disrespectful", because I was trying to plead my case. So while my friends are literally sitting at the bar, shitcanned, ordering drinks over and over, me, the sober one who hadn't even finished the one drink I ordered, gets cut off and kicked out for complaining about being treated unfairly and inappropriately. So the gathering that was meant to be fun and happy, turned in to us all leaving early, and thankfully not spending any more of our hard earned paycheck here... which as a long time customer to this store, I refuse to do again. I don't know who trains these employees, but if Bethany was actually concerned about anyone's safety she shouldn't have falsely accused someone of being intoxicated who wasn't. I have to wonder how many actual intoxicated people have been allowed to leave there on Bethany's watch. I have no issue with needing to consume alcohol. I do not care about it, but my time was ruined and cut short with friends and family because either someone wasn't trained properly, or is a blithering buffoon as to how to do her job. We will not be returning to this place again, and I suggest people spend their hard earned money elsewhere. Oh, and I'm taking this to corporate, because now I'm concerned about how many patrons are actually being over served and allowed to walk out on Bethany's watch and drive to their next destination. read more

My second time coming here. Definitely a pretty good taco joint and I like it, but I'm sure "natives" would not necessarily call this authentic. I got a quesadilla again. I'm not a big fan of sour cream so I asked for it without sour cream. Unfortunately, the order also removed guacamole as well. EDIT: I was mistaken about the guac. It doesn't normally come with it. Thank you for the correction. Added a star to the review for the prompt response and clarification! The order came out relatively quickly and my quesadilla was good. It was warm and the portion was relatively large. They have a great selection of hot sauces and definitely helps add some heat to the meal. Unfortunately, the sauce oozes out from the side of a cap. I think it is because the hot sauce tends to harden around the small opening. Almost accidentally dumped the entire bottle of hot sauce onto my plate... I would come here again because the food is good, but the small things kind of take away from the entire experience. read more

I'm a big fan of fuzzys. This location just can't seem to get it together. Service is slow and there sometimes seems to be a lot of confusion between the bar and kitchen. Also seems to always have a new bar tender also. Might be part of the problem read more

We go to Fuzzy's 3 to 4 times per month, usually for lunch on Saturday. Fun Mexican dishes and big glasses of draft beer and margaritas! Love that they have lots of TVs showing sports. But sometimes their choice of music and how loud it's played isn't ideal. Yesterday was brutal. Loud hard rock music the whole time we were there. We could barely hear ourselves speak. Most of the customers were families with kids or older couples. The music was totally inappropriate. Save that stuff for the night customers. read more

BF says give it a 4 Star, I'm giving it a 3, sorry babe. Here's why... My food, shrimp salad. Wimpy. It comes in a great big bowl with only a handful of ingredients. Plus side to the size? it was only $6.99. Taste was decent, shrimp way over cooked. He had 2 tacos, you can mix & match plus you get to choose 2 sides. He said he loved his tacos. He had one mahi & one shrimp. Want chips & salsa? order with your food, otherwise there is hot sauce but no salsa. A salsa bar would be awesome-sauce!!! Drinks, lots of margarita machines & you can make any style you want. Want a beer in your rita? Cool! Want a mini bottle of wine in your rita? Cool! Shot of Jim Beam & a beer? Cool! Happy Hour Drink prices are excellent! I have been here at least 9 or 10 times over the past year or so. I tend to order tacos to eat at the Bar or To Go, which have always been good! My issue with this place tends to be the cleanliness. Part of this stems form them being VERY busy and almost always being somewhat understaffed. HOWEVER, every time I go in there, the bar is sticky in places there are LOTS of dishes and glasses that need to be cleared off the tables and bar. IT gives the impression that the staff does not care, which I know some of them do. read more

I was actually really impressed with this place! When we walked in I was a little put off because I had been wanting a mom-and-pop type place, but I figured I'd never been to one so couldn't fault the place for my friend not reading my mind. I was immediately impressed with the prices, which are really affordable. To be honest, this put me off a little as well, because I figured it must not be great food. I was wrong though, I eat my words! The salad was huge and absolutely delicious, and the taco I ordered was stuffed so full you could barely close it! Wonderful quality and great taste. The woman who took our order could have been more pleasant to be honest, but the food absolutely surprised me, especially for the price, and I'll be back! read more

My husband filled his water cup up with a coke an employee (don't know if it was the manager or not) came up to us and yelled at my husband and continuously told him to "be a good Boy Scout" and when my husband offered to pay for the coke he wouldn't let him talk. He accused us of "stealing" after we spent $40 on tacos tipped and they charge a 4% service fee when paying with a credit card. My overall complaint was with service however the food was mediocre for the price. Would give 0 stars if I could. Should consider hiring more friendly staff as everyone seemed in a bad mood, at the end of the day it's just not that serious. read more

Ehh I wanted to like this but I was left with just full disappointment. It was terrible just not that good. I had a beef steak burrito with cilantro rice and refried beans. It was too much beans on one side of the burrito and rice on the other and hardly meat. Which the meat was pretty salty!! The queso and salsa with the chips was pretty good. I noticed myself stop eating my burrito, and just going straight back to the chips because I was not happy that burrito. My bf had the enchiladas with brisket and that was good! I wish I got that. He did get the borracho beans and they are super salty! Yea probably won't come back to this place unless it's like a forced friends get to together and someone happens to love this place. The staff was super friendly and had recommendations but sucks it's not that great. Oh and it's color and nice inside, some of the seats are kinda torn up but it's a great hangout area! read more

A friend and I attended the Longmont location for the first and last time yesterday. The best way I can say it is that this is a place for young adults who like to drink: The music was quite loud and playing "kiddy pop". Alcohol consumption seems to be central to their concept. I had the distinct impression that none of the employees were glad to be there. I guess that this is more of a management issue than an employee one. The food we ordered, a mix of tacos and enchilada plates was decidedly mediocre: The quality of ingredients felt low and were assembled in a way that lacked refinement in flavor. My experience is that the average Mexican food hole-in-the-wall restaurant cares much more about their staff, their food, and their customers. Unless you are in the 21-25yr old crowd, I think you are likely to have a far better experience elsewhere. read more
