Fuzzys taco shop was very friendly and had information about gluten allergies when we visited. We were a bit confused at first because you get your receipt to get your chips and salsa if you ordered it, but the employee expediting the food was super nice. We are from California so this isn't considered authentic, but we weren't worried about that because the food was inexpensive and pretty tasty after a long travel day! I wish I had more room to finish my nachos. I will definitely return again when I have the craving for some quick Mexican food. One thing that I despise, is being falsely accused of something that is inaccurate. Do NOT spend your hard earned money here. Came to celebrate a friend's special day. Ordered one alcoholic beverage and some food for our table. When I went to order a second drink, Bethany, the small and thinks she's mighty bartender or server or "manager", or whatever she is, told me I was not allowed another alcoholic beverage. I explained to her I had one alcoholic beverage, and ordered food, and I wasn't sure why I wasn't allowed a second. She then lied to me, and told me I had ordered two drinks, and all she could offer me was a soda or water. For the record, I had not ordered two alcoholic drinks. I ordered ONE for me and a soda for a friend. I tried to plead my case, since I was not intoxicated, and we were in the middle of a celebration, but apparently Bethany felt I was laughing or smiling too much... and she knew better. Then, when I asked to speak to a manager, as I was speaking to the manager, she scurried over and promptly kicked me out, telling me I was being "disrespectful", because I was trying to plead my case. So while my friends are literally sitting at the bar, shitcanned, ordering drinks over and over, me, the sober one who hadn't even finished the one drink I ordered, gets cut off and kicked out for complaining about being treated unfairly and inappropriately. So the gathering that was meant to be fun and happy, turned in to us all leaving early, and thankfully not spending any more of our hard earned paycheck here... which as a long time customer to this store, I refuse to do again. I don't know who trains these employees, but if Bethany was actually concerned about anyone's safety she shouldn't have falsely accused someone of being intoxicated who wasn't. I have to wonder how many actual intoxicated people have been allowed to leave there on Bethany's watch. I have no issue with needing to consume alcohol. I do not care about it, but my time was ruined and cut short with friends and family because either someone wasn't trained properly, or is a blithering buffoon as to how to do her job. We will not be returning to this place again, and I suggest people spend their hard earned money elsewhere. Oh, and I'm taking this to corporate, because now I'm concerned about how many patrons are actually being over served and allowed to walk out on Bethany's watch and drive to their next destination. read more

I said no worries mom, and I told her about the nachos instead. Margarita options and a bar with super friendly staff ready to help make you forget that it's an election year. Always polite and never a bad drink. The food menu is just as expansive, with Mexican fusion plates to meet anyone's need. I have gone to Fuzzy's Longmont from time to time and been pretty satisfied. However, I went tonight and noticed an additional service charge on the bill. I asked what this was for, and the bartender was vague but basically said that it was for paying the employees benefits. I do not pay the employees; the restaurant does. Plus, there is a tip jar at the counter for service that I have to walk up for. This will be my last trip there; ever. There are still plenty of fun restaurants that do not charge those fees. read more

My second time coming here. Definitely a pretty good taco joint and I like it, but I'm sure "natives" would not necessarily call this authentic. I got a quesadilla again. I'm not a big fan of sour cream so I asked for it without sour cream. Unfortunately, the order also removed guacamole as well. EDIT: I was mistaken about the guac. It doesn't normally come with it. It was warm and the portion was relatively large. They have a great selection of hot sauces and definitely helps add some heat to the meal. Unfortunately, the sauce oozes out from the side of a cap. I think it is because the hot sauce tends to harden around the small opening. Almost accidentally dumped the entire bottle of hot sauce onto my plate... We go to Fuzzy's 3 to 4 times per month, usually for lunch on Saturday. Fun Mexican dishes and big glasses of draft beer and margaritas! Love that they have lots of TVs showing sports. But sometimes their choice of music and how loud it's played isn't ideal. Yesterday was brutal. Loud hard rock music the whole time we were there. We could barely hear ourselves speak. Most of the customers were families with kids or older couples. The music was totally inappropriate. Save that stuff for the night customers. read more

Plus side to the size? it was only $6.99. Taste was decent, shrimp way over cooked. He had 2 tacos, you can mix & match plus you get to choose 2 sides. He said he loved his tacos. He had one mahi & one shrimp. Want chips & salsa? order with your food, otherwise there is hot sauce but no salsa. A salsa bar would be awesome-sauce!!! Happy Hour Drink prices are excellent! I have been here at least 9 or 10 times over the past year or so. I tend to order tacos to eat at the Bar or To Go, which have always been good! My issue with this place tends to be the cleanliness. Part of this stems form them being VERY busy and almost always being somewhat understaffed. HOWEVER, every time I go in there, the bar is sticky in places there are LOTS of dishes and glasses that need to be cleared off the tables and bar. IT gives the impression that the staff does not care, which I know some of them do. read more

My husband filled his water cup up with a coke an employee (don't know if it was the manager or not) came up to us and yelled at my husband and continuously told him to "be a good Boy Scout" and when my husband offered to pay for the coke he wouldn't let him talk. When we walked in I was a little put off because I had been wanting a mom-and-pop type place, but I figured I'd never been to one so couldn't fault the place for my friend not reading my mind. I was immediately impressed with the prices, which are really affordable. To be honest, this put me off a little as well, because I figured it must not be great food. Ehh I wanted to like this but I was left with just full disappointment. It was terrible just not that good. I had a beef steak burrito with cilantro rice and refried beans. It was too much beans on one side of the burrito and rice on the other and hardly meat. Which the meat was pretty salty!! The queso and salsa with the chips was pretty good. I noticed myself stop eating my burrito, and just going straight back to the chips because I was not happy that burrito. My bf had the enchiladas with brisket and that was good! I wish I got that. He did get the borracho beans and they are super salty! Yea probably won't come back to this place unless it's like a forced friends get to together and someone happens to love this place.
