The ambiance was amazing! The service was top tier! The tacos were so good, I ordered a 4th one after my main meal. I would go back again!

Don't order delivery from here. Bought their $15 queso and received no chorizo or cilantro toppings. Waste of money, not worth the price at all. Melt your own cheese at home instead of ordering this overpriced half filled up tiny cup.

    Great margaritas!!

We stopped in on a whim while driving past. WOW!! Best Mexican food that I have had anywhere. I thought my place in Florida had great Taco Birrias, but Jefe's are the BEST! My Ahi Taco was equally amazing and my girlfriend loved her Taco Mariscos and Carne Asada. The chips with Guacamole and Queso were excellent. The service is spot on and the place has a nice ambiance. Well worth stopping in!

My first time eating here. Fun place to have some yummy food and cocktails. We ordered the chili relleno burrito and the 3 enchiladas plate with rice and beans. We also ordered chips and guacamole. The food was good and proportions were very generous. Several tables inside and plenty of seating at the bar. Great place to meet up with friends or have a quick lunch. Will have to go back and try a margarita!

My wife can't stop raving about this place! Jefe's is a loud community taco spot on Main Street just as you enter the downtown business district. I love their queso dip topped with bacon and their taco selection is inventive and vast, with vegetarian and gluten free options. We enjoy taking friends here and the staff never disappoints with being upbeat and offering suggestions.

$9 for a coconut marg the size of a thimble!? Could not taste the tequila either.

Rip Off unless you are looking for Overpriced Food & Drinks with Poor service. Jefe's is more concerned about looks & "vibe" than anything else ot seems. Food: We tried 5 different tacos. They tasted OK, nothing wrong but for the $4 / $4.50 they were nothing special. They looked nearly the same (amount of meat) as the $2.50 street tacos we saw others eating. The smothered burrito was pretty good but totally overpriced... $14 for a burrito that was average size without any sides (no beans, rice, salad, etc). More like an $8 item, $10 with sides. $9 for a coconut margarita the size of a thimble (see photo)! Could not taste the tequila either. It was very sweet, and actually pretty good flavor but that is WAY overpriced. There was 3 to 4oz of total liquid in that glass considering the ice filled most of it. Service : 3 of us received our food while my 7 yr old's kids bean & cheese burrito was not delivered. The server never came by to check on us. We had to get her attention and then it took another 10 minutes to get the food. We had to eat VERY slowly so we could have some food left when the kids meal came. Not good at all - No apology.

Birria, bacon wrapped jalepeno and chorizo and egg taco with a side of vegan black beans.

I stopped in here for lunch and grabbed a taco plate. Very tasty! I had a birria taco, a chorizo taco with an over easy egg, and a bacon wrapped jalepeno popper taco with corn. The spicy jalepeno was my favorite, but they were all quite good. The vegan black beans I had as a side were nice, too. At about $4-$5 a taco, I felt it was a reasonable value as they were good quality tacos. The server was friendly and prompt, and the restaurant is clean and has fun decor. The burrito menu looks good, so I'll definitely be back to try it.

Came in just in time for happy hour on a Friday night! Had to wait for a little, but we got a marg while we waited. Seats opened up at the bar which we claimed! Amazing margs, amazing menu, amazing staff - what more do you need? This place gets very busy and it's understandable why, their tacos are delicious! Definitely more "American style" tacos rather than authentic but there is something for everyone here. My only complain is that they're a little over priced in my opinion. Wont stop me from coming though

Fun place to eat - food is good, Tequila is better. Barbacoa is highly recommended. Great place to meet with friends and relax.

If I had someone to be my designated driver I would have had the 2 for 1 margaritas which is a Monday special. The restaurant interior was bright and funky! There are tables and booths available. The bar area has an extensive selection of tequila. I've seen bottles that I've never seen before. Our server was so friendly and extremely attentive. Both our drinks and food were served in a timely manner. I ordered the Horchata and it was delicious! I ordered the chicken fajitas for lunch and the portion was huge! I was definitely able to take some home. The food tasted so fresh. In addition to the 2 for margaritas on Monday, I am so impressed by the number of daily specials this restaurant has. Other specials include $3 taco Tuesdays, 2 for 1 Mezcalitos on Wednesdays and 2 for 1 cocktails on Thursdays for the ladies. There is also a Happy Hour which includes discount margaritas and $3 tacos. There is plenty of free parking.

I was in Longmont for the home and garden show and I was hungry so this was my opportunity to give Rosa's Cantina a try. They were very busy but I was greeted and seated promptly. The place is nice and they have a lot of seating and a patio but too cold that day for outdoor dining. I ordered the Burrito Tijuana which looked to be a good choice based on the menu description. The burrito was very good with a generous portion of steak. The chili smothering the buritto was flavorful but not very spicy. I wish they provided a little more pico salsa on the side, there was probably a teaspoon of pico. I enjoyed the buritto, it was sizeable, flavorful but not spicy enough for my taste buds. The server was good, she was attentive and pleasant. The place was clean, prices were reasonable, service was good as well as the food. Would I go back ? I might go back if the planets align but I wouldn't make a special trip. My only real letdowns were the shortage of pico and they don't offer free chips and salsa. I've come to expect and appreciate Mexican restaurants who still offer free chips and salsa.

We got the Birdhouse Flight to start--guac, five-cheese queso, and their birdhouse salsa (a tasty, mild tomatillo). Seriously, it's the best way to start your meal. For dinner, we all had ramen. I went for the Hellfire with extra bok choy. This ramen is no joke. If you want something spicy, this is it. The chili sauce, flakes, and oil really bring the heat. The kids got the Tonkotsu, which was amazing as usual--great broth and super tender meat. I had my spicy ramen with a Juicy Bits from WeldWerks, perfect combo. Seriously, it's some of the best ramen and service around North Denver. Whether it's for a special day or just a chilly night. Birdhouse is always good. I totally recommend it!

So it was shocking that I found such a good bowl out here in Erie. I got the Hellfire Ramen, a tonkotsu-based ramen served with their house spicy sauce, chili oil, pork shoulder, and a soft boiled egg. The broth was rich and flavorful, the spice level was perfect (quiet hot but still maintaining a good balance of flavors), and the pork shoulder was tender but still has a bit of nice toothsomeness. Overall, this was an excellent bowl of ramen comparable to any of the top spots in Denver. The only slight downside is that the broth was just a tough too salty for my liking, and I would've preferred a soy marinated egg over a soft boiled egg. They have other ramen here was well, such as a chicken-based shio ramen, a regular tonkotsu, and a Thai curry ramen. I definitely would return to try the other ramen. If the other items on this menu is as tasty, I wouldn't hesitate to give them 5 stars.
