    Carnitas taco

The food is good and taco Tuesday is the best deal on the menu. I prefer the carnitas tacos and the Pescado tempura style are my favorites. The service is always great and the ambiance is very modern. Have been here a number of times and never disappointed

I met friends at this Longmont location because I always enjoy the other Teocalli locations. We sat outside on the patio which was lovely and were well taken care of by our server. The inside looked classy but we wanted to sit outside while we can and it wasn't too hot. The patio is large and we didn't feel crowded. The margaritas are tasty and fresh and don't use a mix - love them! We got chips and salsa to munch on while we waited for our food and I think the choices for salsas are interesting and delicious. I didn't stray from my usual order of a Tijuana style shrimp taco because they are always hot, mouth-watering explosions of flavor! This was no exception. I love that there is a new location where I can meet friends who come from various places. We will be back!

Delicious food! Yummy tacos and the last time I was there the mango habanero shrimp ceviche caught my eye and WOW so light and delicious. I enjoyed the birria taco and grilled shrimp taco that day as well.

Second time here, enjoyed it a lot. Had a great trainee server. Food - started with blistered shishito peppers and salsa trio (Macha, X-Ni-Pek, charred habanero). Macha was my favorite. Got de birria Tijuana style, pork belly, pollo, Tijuana style shrimp tacos. All were good. Pork belly was a little dry/not a lot of fat. My favorite was the pollo because of the sauce. The pork shank pibil came with a moat of sauce. The meat was tender. Adobo tuna was great as well. Finished with dessert of Mexican chocolate panna cotta, which is a unique dessert. The panna cotta had density, and the pecans were yummy. Ambiance - open air space, open to the outside. There were misters over the outdoor dining area, which is next to the sidewalk. An upscale-feeling restaurant with great food. I'm always happy to return here.

    Margs are excellent.

This ace is soooooo good and the service is excellent. We've been there twice now and loved both times. Our server let us hang out and catch up with old friends while enjoying margaritas. We never felt rushed. It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Been going to Teocalli for a number of years in Lafayette but this was the first time in Longmont. What a beautiful place. Lots of room. Great atmosphere. Wonderful staff and the food remains fabulous. Cocktails delightful. A wonderful stop. Lots of parking on the back.

This place is always crowded and now I know why. Absolutely delicious tacos. So different. We tried the salsa trio but even the mild ones were too spicy for us. Delicious margaritas and the service was extremely attentive. We've been back since.

These are great gourmet tacos in the heart of Main St in Longmont. Great margaritas, loaded portions for street tacos, cool atmosphere, what more could you ask for? Highly recommend the de birria and cotija tacos, with a whole layer of crispy cheese!

A gluten-free phenomenon. I've experienced the location in Lafayette which is also wonderful, but this was a special step-up. We made a reservation for noon (which we thought we didn't need until sitting at our booth for half an hour) and ordered the Teocalli Guacamole (green chorizo addition that has a spicy KICK) as a starter alongside the Teocalli Paloma and La Casa Margarita. I normally opt for a Coin, but our server suggested the La Casa and I am so grateful - no fake sweet and sour, just fresh juice and in-house made sour. The rim was wonderfully smoky and spicy and a perfect contrast to the sweetness. For my main dish, I splurged (thank you parents-in-law for treating!). Adobo Tuna atop crema de elote, brown butter sautéed corn, charred onion oil, chili oil and garlic fried rice. The presentation of this dish made me want to frame it, not eat it, but I caved and dug in. Perfectly tender, with the crema de elote offering a perfect accompanying sweetness to balance out the smokiness. I have literally dreamt about this since we visited. Thanks to the wonderful service, beautiful, bright and clean location and out-of-this-world food, I will make the trip down to add this to my recommendations to anyone and everyone!

Since this is the latest hotspot in Longmont I decided not to take any chances and made a reservation through OpenTable. Good thing I did because the place was packed at 7:45 pm! There is street parking and a parking lot behind the building. The decor is modern sparkly. Lots of energy and twinkle lights. We were seated immediately and I always ask for a quiet corner or something against a tall wall because we have difficulty hearing with ambient sound and this place is loud. They actually read and followed the request. We were escorted to an incredible corner booth. Perfection! Chef kiss! We did have to wait before we were acknowledged by our server, but not too long. We ordered and the drinks and food were practically immediate. Well done! The salsas were amazing. My companion adores the pineapple! I ordered the Tijuana style birria which was fantastic, there was one single mouthful of fat. I loved the consommé. It was not too rich. I liked the fresh onions that were in the broth.

If I had someone to be my designated driver I would have had the 2 for 1 margaritas which is a Monday special. The restaurant interior was bright and funky! There are tables and booths available. The bar area has an extensive selection of tequila. I've seen bottles that I've never seen before. Our server was so friendly and extremely attentive. Both our drinks and food were served in a timely manner. I ordered the Horchata and it was delicious! I ordered the chicken fajitas for lunch and the portion was huge! I was definitely able to take some home. The food tasted so fresh. In addition to the 2 for margaritas on Monday, I am so impressed by the number of daily specials this restaurant has. Other specials include $3 taco Tuesdays, 2 for 1 Mezcalitos on Wednesdays and 2 for 1 cocktails on Thursdays for the ladies. There is also a Happy Hour which includes discount margaritas and $3 tacos. There is plenty of free parking.

I was in Longmont for the home and garden show and I was hungry so this was my opportunity to give Rosa's Cantina a try. They were very busy but I was greeted and seated promptly. The place is nice and they have a lot of seating and a patio but too cold that day for outdoor dining. I ordered the Burrito Tijuana which looked to be a good choice based on the menu description. The burrito was very good with a generous portion of steak. The chili smothering the buritto was flavorful but not very spicy. I wish they provided a little more pico salsa on the side, there was probably a teaspoon of pico. I enjoyed the buritto, it was sizeable, flavorful but not spicy enough for my taste buds. The server was good, she was attentive and pleasant. The place was clean, prices were reasonable, service was good as well as the food. Would I go back ? I might go back if the planets align but I wouldn't make a special trip. My only real letdowns were the shortage of pico and they don't offer free chips and salsa. I've come to expect and appreciate Mexican restaurants who still offer free chips and salsa.

When looking at the menu, the prices were outrageous, but thought the food must be really good! The restaurant doors were locked when we arrived around 11:30, even though their website said they opened at 10:00. I like to support local restaurants but this one was horribly disappointing! We were the only customers in the restaurant and service was extremely slow. There was only one employee we saw, the one who unlocked the door for us and turned out to be our waitress. She was polite, but very slow in getting our drink order, food order, and ticket. I could have understood understaffing, but as mentioned, we were the only customers in the place. When our food came, I was almost embarrassed for our waitress. The food hardly filled our plates. I ordered a chicken dish where the chicken breast had been split in half. It was tough and hard to cut and and chew. It was maybe the size of a small burger, very small and about 1/4 of an inch thick! According to the menu description, it was supposed to be marinated. It tasted like the "marinade" was ketchup mixed with a little Tabasco. Other plates were very skimpy on food. Burritos and enchiladas were small and almost almost laid flat on the plates. I guess I could deal with it better if the cost was about ¼ of the price we paid. No drinks for 4 totaled, with tip, around $80.00!! Will never go to this place again! I typically don't do reviews but this experience was completely "over the top" bad in all areas. We all left feeling cheated, and hungry! Don't waste your money here!
