This is the second time that we have eaten here and we all love it!! The portions are quite good, the chips, the Queso dips, the fajitas, the damn tacos!! Everything is so yummy and tasty and they have veggie options too! The service was excellent and the ambience was light and nice because all the servers look happy !! I want to thank Lynzie, the manager on duty for her kindness, making sure we were well served and enjoying our order!! I will go back anytime and recommend this place to anyone that would like to eat some yummy food and get away from a stressful day!! read more

Stopped after a hike yesterday and was very disappointed. We love torchys but haven't tried it at this location before. Asked for no lettuce on tacos- all tacos had lettuce Churros- were super burnt Chicken tasted really rubbery Was given corn tortillas after asking for flour. Almost every piece of our order was wrong. Waste of $70.00 read more

The customer service at Torchy's Tacos is completely inconsistent between locations. At the Centennial location, my Mr. Orange taco tasted fishy and was inedible. To their credit, the staff apologized and gave me two gift cards for free tacos. They specifically told me I couldn't redeem both at the same time, but that after I finished my first taco, I could come back to the register and they would validate the second gift card in a separate transaction. That's exactly what I did at the Boulder location. I redeemed one gift card, ate my taco, then returned to the register to redeem the second gift card in a separate transaction. The staff refused to honor it, despite me following the instructions I had been given by another Torchy's location. If each location is going to make up its own rules, then don't issue gift cards that aren't honored consistently. Customers shouldn't have to argue over compensation that was already approved because one store decides to ignore what another store promised. Very disappointing experience, and it makes me question whether Torchy's values consistent customer service at all. Card states "one Taco per transaction" read more

Came in for lunch roaming around boulder. Got 2 tacos and queso One taco each for me and my wife. They were good sized and were filling, the queso was very tasty but the chips were very salty. Overall a good experience but the beef brisket in my Matador was overcooked and a bit tough and stringy... my wife said her Missionary was pretty good. good but not great. - update., this food made me sick Been in the bathroom for some time. This was all I had to eat and its made me physically shaken and sick to my stomach. 2 StarZ read more

Best tacos in Boulder with great service too! Lynzie, Rylie, and Natalie were awesome, will definitely be back soon!

Food was good and filling. My burrito was breaking before I even touched it but surly it's not like that every time. It was clean and fun vibe. read more

This is one of my favorite places to stop by for a quick bite to eat. Having some allergies they are always able to accommodate to leaving certain ingredients out and it still tastes amazing!!!! It's a very causal place to grab tacos or burritos. Highly recommend getting the chips and queso! read more

I parked there to go to a yoga class and then eat at torchy's and that had Colorado Parking Authority boot my car

i spent so much money on so little here. nachos were good but sparse on queso and toppings, and everything else was mid if not bad. only go here if you want to spend 2x the amount of money you should be spending. read more

Came here for a quick lunch before our afternoon got busy, and we were all surprised by how good the food was. Some of the recent reviews are kinda mixed, so I was hesitant on giving this restaurant a try, but I'm so glad I did! The tacos may look a bit small, but don't let that fool you--the fillings are hella generous. Out of the two tacos I ordered, I'd have to say the shrimp one was my fave. It almost reminded me of the bang bang shrimp from Bonefish Grill. So many more menu items to explore next time! At first I thought the price per taco was kinda steep, but for the amount of food you get, it's worth it. Highly recommend! read more

Tried & true...always excellent food, atmosphere, and outside patio! We stick to the bean & cheese tacos & a breakfast taco, no matter the time of day. Roja salsa is the best & the queso is our favorite (coming from a former Texan, lol). Forgot to take pics, but will get some soon! Were there weekly! read more

Monarch PK8 got an entire spread for Parent Teacher Conferences last week and it was so tasty. From the chicken to the beef to the salads, elite corn dip, all the delicious sauces and salsa. What a feast. Even though it was a late night, we had full bellies thanks to Pepe at Torchy's Tacos. Thanks for hooking us teachers up and making us feel so appreciated. read more

The service at this place is straight up hostile. It wasn't great before they added the kiosks, but now that they've replaced humans with computers like the rest of the world the staff are even more unfriendly than they were before. Food is still good (when they get the order right) but the sterile and unwelcoming atmosphere has become a huge deterrent for making this a lunch choice anymore. read more

Everything was cool and everything but I just didn't like the food it was how do you spell saucy and weird and too .I don't think I'd ever go back there. if you're gonna put beans on my tacos, at least have good beans. read more

Ordered food at 8:30 for last minute pick up, and when I got there, there was no one to greet you, or ask for your order, after 10 minutes waiting someone came out to order their employee meal, then saw me standing there, put their order in, then finally asked if I needed help, said I had a order to pick up, she ran back, finally got my food, thought that was the end of bad service, then when I got home, there was hair in two of the tacos, and that just ruined the night, I keep trying to give this place my business, but it's always a bad experience. read more

My daughter and I always joke about this place's silly name but we decided to stop in today and were very pleasantly surprised. The tacos are indeed fire, the sides were pretty good too! We both got a Baja shrimp taco, they are a bit pricey since you literally only get one per order it's not a meal or anything but the quality is high so it doesn't feel like as much of a ripoff. The staff was fantastic, the guy keeping an eye on everything was friendly and helpful and just a nice guy really, refreshing to see. We ordered the tots which were delicious and a half serving of street corn, the corn its self was a bit chewy, maybe from being frozen? And we needed more lime wedges than we were given to wake it up, the flavor was a bit flat and probably wouldn't reorder the street corn but I wouldn't say it was bad at all. Overall I really enjoyed this place, silly name and all (for some reason I thought it was a chicken joint since the sign on the building doesn't include tacos) and disappointed I didn't check it out sooner! It's also bright and clean inside with minimal but fun decor. We will definitely be back! read more

Love the menu. I mean there is a lot to choose from. We had the queso and chips. Guacamole and chips and tomatillo sauce and chips. The queso was really good with a distinct heat to it. Loved the Guacamole... tastes like freshly made. Then came the tacos. I had the trailer trash taco and it has about everything on it. Super good and super filling. But of course you can not have only 1. 2nd one was the marinated chicken taco. Very tasty. These tacos are loaded on a soft flour tortilla. Definitely will be vack read more

Such a good place! The food, atmosphere, and staff are always great! Personal favorite tacos include the Democratic and Brushfire and you CANNOT skip the thin, crispy chips and drool worthy queso! Had to dock a star because the place is expensive, but as an occasional stop definitely fantastic! read more

Food is mostly great. Ambiance is fine. Clean and neat. Loud music. Mostly tables. Guacamole is half cubed avocados covered in guacamole. Good thin and crispy chips. Self order consoles were out of order. Good sauces. Everything is very fresh. read more

Honestly don't have many problems ordering here, as I always order to go online, but I just noticed the food going downhill lately. The meat has been increasingly cooked worse and worse each time, and quite dry alone. Tonight my "full sized queso" was literally almost less than halfway full, I order this every time and it's usually at least 3/4th full. Ridiculous for the price if you ask me, they also did not give me the avocado sauce on my Mr orange making it soo dry and kinda hard to eat. Disappointing cuz it's usually the best one. I also ordered a tomatillo sauce that I did not get. Not great :/ locations back in TX are way more consistent than this. read more

Had torchys for the first time qith the Monarch pk8 catering. It was so good, I was suprised at the variety of topping choices and the Diablo sauce was so good. I also really liked that my coworkers who have dietary restrictions were able to partake because of all the choices we had! read more

Torchys has gone downhill!! Service was horrible this last Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was only 30-40% full. No one to assist with orders. It took over 20 min to receive an order of guac and one taco. Taco was falling apart. No one to even ask if my order was on the way or to get another taco shell to eat taco. Won't be back! read more

The food here is yummy. The passionfruit mezcal margaritas even better. But what truly keeps me coming back time after time, Emily! She makes the best drinks, but even better her cheery disposition, awesome conversation and impeccable service. She's like a best friend you've known all your life, haven't seen for a while and every time you see each other, it picks up right where you left off. Food and drink is important, but let's be real, what makes a restaurant truly amazing are the people who run it.... And let me just say, Emily is a Boss! read more

We recently discovered Torchy's Tacos. What an absolute pleasure it was to have incredible tacos and meet their manager, Chris Vargas. I owned a company with over 200 employees - Chris is the role model for who I looked for in an employee: attentive, pleasant, huge smile, hardworking, and making sure we left happy customers. And we did! He is a a huge asset to Torchy's. They are fortunate to have him. I wish there was a Torchy's on the Western Slope, but until then we will definitely be back!!! read more

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Green Chile Pork (corn) was well balanced and loved that they gave an entire container of sauce. More traditional of a taco with cotija cheese, cilantro, onions, and wedge of lime Trailer Park Trashy (flour) was pretty salty but the fried chicken was on point. We got it trashy so lots of cheese on top instead of lettuce. The poblano sauce tasted of ranch mostly Chili Wagon (corn, taco of the month) had a really nice kick and the fried poblano pepper added great texture Ambience: 5/5 - clean, bright, and very grateful for the AC on a hot day Service: 5/5 - cashier was very friendly and provided recommendations for what to get. We enjoyed everything she recommended Value for price: 4/5 - a bit pricey for tacos but good food and quick service. Definitely worth trying read more

My fave taco joint! When I heard there was a Torchy's nearby i geeked out and had to go! So many yummy taco choices but my favorite has to be the fried chicken one. The beef brisket is a close second! They also have other fun ones including fried avocado or salmon. You order single tacos so it's easy to try a bunch of flavors! they also have bomb queso! Get it with chips or smother your tacos in it! It is a little on the spicy side so be warned. They have fried cookie dough balls I'm dying to try. Can't wait to go back next time and grab em! read more

I have been eating at various Torchy's locations for decades. I will be very surprised if this location lasts more than another month before it goes out of business. It took 45 minutes to get 4 tacos to go, and when they finally arrived, the meat was burnt and many of the ingredients did not seem fresh. The tacos were terrible. The new ordering kiosks do not work well and it took at least 10 minutes to actually place the order in the first place. After waiting 40 minutes for our order, we went to check and see if the order even went through. It's hard to even find anyone who works here. Meanwhile it's an uncomfortable place to wait, the tables are dirty, and the whole experience is a bit of a disaster. I will never come back here again. read more

Tried this place 2 times in 2 days. The first day we all got tacos and loved the shrimp tacos and the Democrat. The 2nd day we hit repeat and got the same tacos, shrimp and the Democrat and the shrimp ones were good but the Democrat was SOOOO salty that I had to ask for a side of raw onions to cut the salt to be able to eat them. Sadly inconsistent and we won't be back. The tacos are not cheap and if they were at least consistently great it would be something else, but there are so many taco places in Boulder County that we will be busy trying as many as we can. Didn't really care for the atmosphere and vibe here either. read more

Quick, friendly service and excellent food! I had a veggie Grande Burrito, which is one of the best veggie burritos I've had.

Okay, I wasn't sure how this place would be... but their tacos are SOOO GOOD. 2 is a meal, 3 will stuff you. I got the drunk chicken and beef fajita and the chicken one was phenomenal!!! I will probably go back on my visit in Boulder because I loved them. Bomb. Dot. Com. Highly recommended read more

Excited to visit Torchy's in Boulder for the first time Just to realized that the food is average nothing special about it Texmex fell short here. chips were a bit too salty only good taco was the shrimp one Carnitas were salty and only have onions no pico de gallo. Service is average since I did tell the person taking our order what she recommended but she said nothing. Ambience is impersonal just another chain restaurant read more

Apparently reading comprehension isn't a requirement to work here. A vertical ID does not automatically mean someone is under 21. It literally says in bold letters 'UNDER 21 UNTIL...' followed by a date. If your bar staff can't process that, maybe they shouldn't be checking IDs. read more
