This is one of my favorite places to stop by for a quick bite to eat. Having some allergies they are always able to accommodate to leaving certain ingredients out and it still tastes amazing!!!! Monarch PK8 got an entire spread for Parent Teacher Conferences last week and it was so tasty. From the chicken to the beef to the salads, elite corn dip, all the delicious sauces and salsa. The service at this place is straight up hostile. It wasn't great before they added the kiosks, but now that they've replaced humans with computers like the rest of the world the staff are even more unfriendly than they were before. Food is still good (when they get the order right) but the sterile and unwelcoming atmosphere has become a huge deterrent for making this a lunch choice anymore. read more

Came here for a quick lunch before our afternoon got busy, and we were all surprised by how good the food was. Some of the recent reviews are kinda mixed, so I was hesitant on giving this restaurant a try, but I'm so glad I did! The tacos may look a bit small, but don't let that fool you--the fillings are hella generous. Out of the two tacos I ordered, I'd have to say the shrimp one was my fave. It almost reminded me of the bang bang shrimp from Bonefish Grill. So many more menu items to explore next time! Ordered food at 8:30 for last minute pick up, and when I got there, there was no one to greet you, or ask for your order, after 10 minutes waiting someone came out to order their employee meal, then saw me standing there, put their order in, then finally asked if I needed help, said I had a order to pick up, she ran back, finally got my food, thought that was the end of bad service, then when I got home, there was hair in two of the tacos, and that just ruined the night, I keep trying to give this place my business, but it's always a bad experience. read more

Honestly don't have many problems ordering here, as I always order to go online, but I just noticed the food going downhill lately. The meat has been increasingly cooked worse and worse each time, and quite dry alone. Tonight my "full sized queso" was literally almost less than halfway full, I order this every time and it's usually at least 3/4th full. Ridiculous for the price if you ask me, they also did not give me the avocado sauce on my Mr orange making it soo dry and kinda hard to eat. Disappointing cuz it's usually the best one. My daughter and I always joke about this place's silly name but we decided to stop in today and were very pleasantly surprised. The tacos are indeed fire, the sides were pretty good too! We both got a Baja shrimp taco, they are a bit pricey since you literally only get one per order it's not a meal or anything but the quality is high so it doesn't feel like as much of a ripoff. The staff was fantastic, the guy keeping an eye on everything was friendly and helpful and just a nice guy really, refreshing to see. We ordered the tots which were delicious and a half serving of street corn, the corn its self was a bit chewy, maybe from being frozen? And we needed more lime wedges than we were given to wake it up, the flavor was a bit flat and probably wouldn't reorder the street corn but I wouldn't say it was bad at all. Overall I really enjoyed this place, silly name and all (for some reason I thought it was a chicken joint since the sign on the building doesn't include tacos) and disappointed I didn't check it out sooner! Love the menu. I mean there is a lot to choose from. We had the queso and chips. Guacamole and chips and tomatillo sauce and chips. The queso was really good with a distinct heat to it. Loved the Guacamole... tastes like freshly made. Then came the tacos. I had the trailer trash taco and it has about everything on it. Super good and super filling. Torchys has gone downhill!! Service was horrible this last Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was only 30-40% full. No one to assist with orders. It took over 20 min to receive an order of guac and one taco. Taco was falling apart. No one to even ask if my order was on the way or to get another taco shell to eat taco. Won't be back! read more

We recently discovered Torchy's Tacos. What an absolute pleasure it was to have incredible tacos and meet their manager, Chris Vargas. I owned a company with over 200 employees - Chris is the role model for who I looked for in an employee: attentive, pleasant, huge smile, hardworking, and making sure we left happy customers. And we did! He is a a huge asset to Torchy's. They are fortunate to have him. I wish there was a Torchy's on the Western Slope, but until then we will definitely be back!!! read more

I have been eating at various Torchy's locations for decades. I will be very surprised if this location lasts more than another month before it goes out of business. It took 45 minutes to get 4 tacos to go, and when they finally arrived, the meat was burnt and many of the ingredients did not seem fresh. The tacos were terrible. The new ordering kiosks do not work well and it took at least 10 minutes to actually place the order in the first place. After waiting 40 minutes for our order, we went to check and see if the order even went through. It's hard to even find anyone who works here. Meanwhile it's an uncomfortable place to wait, the tables are dirty, and the whole experience is a bit of a disaster. I will never come back here again. read more

Tried this place 2 times in 2 days. The first day we all got tacos and loved the shrimp tacos and the Democrat. The 2nd day we hit repeat and got the same tacos, shrimp and the Democrat and the shrimp ones were good but the Democrat was SOOOO salty that I had to ask for a side of raw onions to cut the salt to be able to eat them. Sadly inconsistent and we won't be back. The tacos are not cheap and if they were at least consistently great it would be something else, but there are so many taco places in Boulder County that we will be busy trying as many as we can. My fave taco joint! When I heard there was a Torchy's nearby i geeked out and had to go! So many yummy taco choices but my favorite has to be the fried chicken one. The beef brisket is a close second! They also have other fun ones including fried avocado or salmon. You order single tacos so it's easy to try a bunch of flavors! they also have bomb queso! Get it with chips or smother your tacos in it! It is a little on the spicy side so be warned. They have fried cookie dough balls I'm dying to try. First off, I'd like to start off by saying if you go to the right Torchy's location the food is delicious. Went into this location tonight around 8:30pm with a party of two. The business hours posted online says that this business closes at 10:00pm but the hours posted on the door say 9:00pm. We asked before ordering if it was an inconvenience to order this late and we're told we were good to dine in. We ordered guac and chips which was brought to our table in "dine in dishes" with a hot bowl and cold guac with really stale chips. The kitchen staff brought our 4 tacos bagged up as a to-go order without pico that comes standard on the tacos or the extra poblano ranch that we ordered. Usually their fried avocado tacos are delicious but tonight the fried avocado tasted like they were fried in dirty grease along with the ODDEST tasting tortillas. They were so off tasting that we couldn't finish them with the result of a stomach ache and wasted money....You'd think spending $40 with a substantial tip (tipping before receiving the food and service is wild as if the amount you tip is dependent on how your food is prepared) for food. The receipt says "special prep" which makes me curious about the taste of the food because we didn't ask for any of our food to be altered from the menu suggestion. This location is sketchy and I won't be dining there again. The food didn't taste safe to eat. Staff was nonchalant and nowhere to be found to correct the mistakes of the order.
