Food lacked flavor. Great atmosphere with very friendly service, but the food itself lacked flavor. The salsa tasted like it came from a jar. read more

For this establishment to put "gluten free" out there is such a disappointment. They truly are no where near gluten free according to the bolded font on their menus, all food is prepared in shared fryers and stove tops. If you're going to adjust prices for gluten free options at the very least give us options that won't potentially put someone with celiac into a severe flare up. I would never recommend this place to anyone with allergies unless they adjust how the food is prepared. read more

Mixed experience here. The service was kinda janky and they got my order hysterically wrong. They did fix it and I ended up with an extra entree that worked out perfectly as it allowed me to enjoy a wonderful lunch on their sunny patio with incredible company. My memory of that great meal leads me to perhaps give more stars than the restaurant deserves, but it will always be a special place to me. But, as they say on the TV commercials.... My experience is not typical. Results may vary. You have been warned. read more

I want my casket to be filled with fuzzys tacos nothing has ever made me so happy. Their Dr Pepper is always crisp too

Wow. Came here after a long day at work for some Mexican grub and it's honestly the worse Mexican food that I have ever. The food came to our table cold; no taste to the refried beans that were so thick I choked on my first bite; and the rice OMG!!! Horrible. The best thing here by far is the guacamole and the margaritas pack a punch. There was only one party of 3 in front of us and it took over 15 minutes just to take their order. I will NEVER go back to place. Horrible. Don't waste your money or your time. read more

We have been going to Fuzzy's for 8 years in Tempe...finally now we have one in the East Valley....never disappoints.....

We decided to try Fuzzy's for the first time. The beer was amazing - it was slushy, therefore super cold. It took the food a bit of time, but when it arrived, it looked pretty good. I ordered a taco combo with two breakfast tacos, black beans and the fried potatoes. My husband got a two item combo with cheese enchilada and brisket taco, with refried beans and rice. We also got some chips and queso. The chips tasted like they were straight out of a bag, and they were COVERED in seasoned salt. My breakfast tacos were so salty that my tongue was numb afterward. Same with the fried potatoes. There was a layer of grease mixed with seasoned salt left on the plate under the potatoes. The refried beans tasted straight out of a can. His brisket taco was pretty good. The cheese enchilada was very salty as well. Good thing we don't have high blood pressure, as that much salt would have caused some major issues! We probably won't be back, unfortunately. read more

Even though they don't have spicy pork anymore the pork carnitas tacos are to die for!!!! The food is always amazing and the beers cold.

Food is fantastic! Had the spicy pork tacos and they were delicious. Chips are fresh and the salsa/hot sauce is perfectly flavored with the right amount of heat. Welcome to Gilbert!! You have won our business. Can't wait to go back!! read more

My buddy took me here. I had driven past it many times but it never really caught my eye. Wow I liked it so much I took my wife there soon after. First off it is a cantina style place which I love! They have lots of TVs which is strange for a Mexican food place but I love that too! I have yet to have something that was not great. Their drinks are both traditional and exotic. They really have some interesting ones too. Even my dumb ass brother liked it and he is a real piker when it comes to food places. If you were thinking of going there please do, you will not regret it! read more

It's okay, nothing special, kind of bland. I would eat here again but its definitely not a go-to.

I am always in this area and was excited to see another taco shop! I finally went with a friend and we were sadly disappointed. The cashier that took our order was our first impression and she was not interested in answering any questions regarding the menu and she seemed incredibly unfriendly and unhappy. We each ordered a few different tacos, some chips and salsa and a couple of drinks. The atmosphere is cute and we sat outside on the patio. When we picked up our food as the buzzer went off, the gentleman handing out the food was just as unhappy as the cashier. A lady next to us was asking questions about her order and he was not very helpful or even nice. I had a fish taco a chicken taco and a pork taco and I cannot say I would want any of them again. Hoping this place At least creates a different atmosphere through their staff and helping them to be welcoming and warm and maybe even smile a little. I'm not impressed with the food but would still come back and sit in the bar area for a couple of drinks. But not until it is a little more welcoming. read more

Ordered through Grubhub and what a great meal. Tacos were amazing and the chips are the best. Highly recommend!!!

This place is just ok! Inexpensive margaritas, but the food was not good at all! The shrimp Tacos and Nachos were just OKAY!

Food quality has gone down hill. Brisket taco was ice cold. Margarita was mostly mix and very little alcohol. Staff wasn't engaged or helpful. Ugh I want to like this place but just really dissatisfied. read more

TJ is very rude while taking orders, doesn't get off of her phone while customers are taking orders, or walking in the door. Very unprofessional. Consider a new bartender/order taker :/ read more

Ordered 2 enchilada plates with one shrimp and one chicken for each, instead they messed up the order three times and gave us two plates with 2 shrimp enchiladas then came back with two chicken enchiladas, the chicken was dry and had no flavor and the shrimp was over cooked and tough and the potatoes were dry and super salty..... read more

Fuzzy's Taco Shop - Supposed to be an Enchilada plate with one shrimp and chicken - Mexican Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

This place has a great atmosphere and I'm not recommending that you don't go here. But, I love authentic Mexican food and this place hasn't got it. Very apparent that all food is prepackaged, rice is pre-made with canned peas and tastes off. It's bar/ cafeteria food. The soft taco tortillas weren't grilled. (And there's nothing wrong with that) but personally I won't be back. read more

Meh. Super generic food. It's not bad but not worth the price tag. The burrito we ordered was pretty small and the nachos were super basic for being "loaded". If you want a sit-down Del Taco then this fits the bill. read more

Fun atmosphere, DELICIOUS food, plentiful portions, friendly service and a great variety of menu options! My friend and I stopped in for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. She enjoyed the delicious fish and shrimp tacos with seasoned tortilla chips and fresh salsa. I thoroughly enjoyed the yummy brisket burrito with all the fixings. Staff is very attentive. We were checked on by three different staff members asking how our food and experience was. I highly recommend Fuzzy's Taco Shop by San Tan Mall on Williams Field Road!! read more

Love love this place! The nachos and shrimp tacos were yum but the Fuzzy Float will have you floating away!

Was less than thrilled with this place. The workers smelled. The food was cold. Odd considering they make it visibly in front of you. The food was mediocre, especially for the price. When we tried sending the cold food back the girl asked if we wanted them to just warm it up. Didn't offer to make new. read more

Sat at bar. 3 tables being served. Never waited on EVER. 25 minutes later we left. Pathetic. During pandemic when it's slow you can't even deliver good customer experiences and service. Will never set foot in again. read more

Great food and drinks however what can not go unmentioned is the customer service. It is amazing. The manager Terry is exceptionally nice and the bartenders always remember your drink orders. Highly recommend read more

Their food is amazing! The service is even better. I had a take way order that was order as a mistake. They corrected it with no hesitation and gave us loads of extras as well. Best customer service ever! read more

This is literally the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Don't even waste your time or money. Unless you are looking for cheap, gross, bland Tex mex. The tortillas are blah- thick tasteless pasty flour tortillas, there is no real salsa, just hot sauce for your tacos, the refried beans seem to have been scooped right out of a can and barely warmed at all, with cold cheese on top. Super disappointed. Will not be back. I have no idea how this place stays in business. read more

Love the new Fuzzy's location! Was a frequent visitor of Tempe location. Great food, lots of TV's, good drinks, and fun atmosphere.

I was disappointed after reading rave reviews about the Tempe location. I ordered the chicken fajita taco and the shredded brisket taco - both cane topped with lettuce, tomato, cilantro, and some cheese. They were standard tacos with no flair and I could honestly make better tacos at home. The hot sauce was just pepper sauce with no real flavor. This place leaves a lot to be desired. Rusty Taco across the street is 5x better and I'm not even a huge fan of their tacos either. read more

The service was great and we got our food really fast. The food was amazing and had wonderful desserts along with tons of t.v's with the right channels on. read more

It's pretty good food, I like the tacos. Girlfriend makes me drive 30 mins for it lol

The atmosphere is great, the people were nice, but the food honestly is not very good. Have tried the place twice, once for dinner and once for lunch and both times the food was mediocre at best. One of my tacos had a chunk of fat in it the size of a quarter and they were just bland. The chips have way too much of whatever seasoning they put on it, had to ask for plain chips. First thing about a restaurant that needs to be good is the food. Everything else is just supporting. Seems like they focused on the drinks and atmosphere rather than the food. read more

READ UNTIL THE END IF YOU EAT HERE FREQUENTLY!!!! I would HIGHLY suggest looking elsewhere if you are seeking employment!!! I got "let go" due to COVID-19. I was never contacted over the two months, where only the managers were allowed to work. I had to contact them on multiple occasions just to be in the loop on when the employees were allowed to come back to work. When I finally decided that I wanted them to give me my sick-leave hours, the GM told me that they would call back so I could speak to a specific manager about it because the GM personally knew nothing about it; the manager he wanted me to talk to was also conveniently using up his vacation time at the moment. I never got a call or text back. So about 3-4 days later I called the store again, only to have explained by the GM, the one who knew nothing just a couple days before, that to be able to use my sick-leave I still needed to be employed there. I was NEVER informed that I was not employed there anymore or else I would have spent those two months looking for another job. When I went into the store a few days later, I was informed by one of my former coworkers that the management team had informed all the other employees, except two of us, in a group chat that they needed to tell me and one other girl that we were not able to come back. How unprofessional! This is a company that can't even tell their employees that they are not going to be employed anymore and put all the pressure onto their other employees; who obviously aren't going to say anything because that's NOT their responsibility. All I'm saying is if you are looking for a job DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!! One day you will have a job and then they just ghost you!! I have NEVER in my lifetime been treated like that from ANY company! If someone is not employed at your establishment anymore you MUST inform them! Just a BIG thing to know if you are going to eat here... THEY USE MICROWAVES ON YOUR FOOD!!! The food is not kept warm enough so we used to have the cooks put almost every single dish though the microwave. The main things I remember having to go through the microwaves was; both type of beans, both rices, the burritos (if they were smothered), and I believe that the chips were sent through as well if they got super busy and didn't have enough time to dump the new chips in the warmer. Also, the chips are pre-made in the morning, kept in giant thrash bins all day and then when they're ready they get dumped into a warmer. Working there I thought it was pretty gross and embarrassing having to tell people that it's all fresh when knowing in the back of my mind it definitely was not. PLEASE keep this in mind the next time you think of going to Fuzzy's! And read reviews before you go to restaurants!!!! read more

Why is Fuzzy's food Sooooo good and their service so poor?!? Never been to the one in Gilbert without an issue. Today I was looked at 3 times before someone came over to take our order and then had an attitude. The manager had not one care about it. Ugh! read more

I was just introduced to this place a couple days ago and my first experience was excellent, today however was a completely different story. Food is great and very inexpensive but after ordering today we decided to sit at bar and what followed was just plain crazy. The bartender was very rude and proceeded to repeat over and over that "this is a full service bar" which I guess means we can't sit there because we already ordered our food???? We kept asking if that means we can't sit here and all she would say is " this is a full service bar." I've never been to a place where you can't sit at the bar if you already ordered and as a side note there is no signage that indicates this. It's too bad because based on this experience I probably won't return! #badcustomerservicecanmakeorbreakyou! read more

We were in the area and everywhere else looked busy with wait times. We were able to walk right in and order from the bar even with our two babies and order kids meals. Price was extremely reasonable! We had to go back and get our chips and guacamole because they forgot to give them to us but those were amazing! Definitely can see us going again. read more

I came to Fuzzy's craving street tacos and I left craving street tacos still. The food was edible but very underwhelming. Flavor profiles were all over the place. Starting with the chips and salsa, the salsa was gross and tasted more like a marinara sauce. I had a beef taco which was okay and a tempura fish taco that was fried to Oblivion. Don't order the beans at all, none of the variations. The side of potatoes actually were not bad. If you've never tried a churro with no sugar, you will here. I left full, but not satisfied by any means. read more

Great food great service. Taco Tuesdays is awesome!!! Order the brisket tacos or the brisket nachos you will not be disappointed.

Terry is fantastic - will come back simply because of his awesome service. I got a taco that I didn't like and he took notice and asked about it. Immediately replaced it with one which I enjoyed. Great customer service really goes a long way and I'll recommend this spot to anyone. The Tempe location is awesome too! 10/10 read more

fuzzys has great service and the food is really good. i liked how fast and sufficient the workers and everyone was it looked like a smooth running restaurant. the girl at the register was very sweet. it was nice to walk in and see a happy smile on your hosts face. i think that's very important to add because a lot of these kids working don't have manners like that anymore so it was very refreshing and comforting to see. read more
