Liquid aloha (strawberry margarita in place of the lime flavor)
    Kathleen N.

Food is average and exactly what you'd expect. The service here was below average as we were in line for 20 minutes when there were only two other people in line. I understand people are new and are learning but it would be nice if they had someone next to her to teach, show, and help her out with orders. My drink wasn't made correctly and our orders were missing sides we had asked for. I got the shrimp tempura soft taco, a ground beef hard shell taco, chips and queso, and the liquid aloha but instead of the lime margarita I asked to switch it out for strawberry to make a strawberry and mango margarita The shrimp tacos and beef tacos were okay. Out of the two, I liked the shrimp taco better but wanted to get a beef taco to compare their beef taco to other beef tacos - using it as a baseline. They are pretty pricey for being about $4 a taco and for what it is. You'd be better off saving some money if you wanted to eat beef tacos elsewhere. However, the chips and queso were very good!

I'm always looking for a good taco spot! I've walked by this place so many times but never went in. A friend wanted to go because she missed the locations in Texas so I went with her. And it was really good! We were shocked that we got served at the table we were sitting at and didn't have to order at the front. I didn't get the server's name but he was super busy and still provided us great service. He made me a virgin margarita that was delicious and the food was also very good. I will definitely be back!

I got a birthday reward for a dessert and chose to get the cookies and cream churros! I placed the order in the store and it was ready within 5minutes. The churros were so good! I wish they had a little dipping sauce but overall it was great!

This spot has the charm of a family style quick and easy taco spot. It is more relaxed and is some thing that is really casual. You can get any sort of quick and easy burrito, taco quesadilla, etc. I think that the food was OK but it's not the most authentic Mexican option. But it is a nice place to stop by if you need a quick bite to eat. I think this place could've gone to the next level if it felt like the ingredients were super fresh.

The only things I liked about this place were 1) the bright decor and 2) the size of the margaritas. Otherwise, I've never had "Mexican" food or tacos with this little flavor. I mean if you just look at the taco photos -- you don't want to eat them. It's a couple of sad pieces of barely seasoned seafood -- with some lettuce, tomatoes, and cotija thrown on top. The "seasoned" rice, beans, and potato sides also tasted so bland, we didn't finish them. Even some salt would have helped. Also, the service (even though they technically don't have servers) was very off-putting. The host up front mumbled something about sitting wherever, and that's all he had the time to say to us. The cashier told us the mango margaritas were sold out, but couldn't actually recommend anything other than the regular margarita (so we just got 2 of those instead of trying a different one). It just all felt very... "just eat and get out."

I was not too impressed with Fuzzy's. I ordered the brisket burrito, quesabirria tacos, and fajita chicken burrito bowl for curbside pickup. Nice that they offer curbside pickup but there were no parking spots designated for that. Luckily I was able to find side parking right up front. The employee was really nice when she brought the food out. The online ordering system is not great. I could not add extra meat or request less beans or rice or even put in any notes. There were some modification options but not enough. They should take note of Chipotle's ordering system. The fajita chicken burrito bowl did not come with fajita veggies. I had to add that for an extra $1.50, and they did add a lot of veggies, but there was barely any chicken, lettuce or pico de gallo. The tacos were probably the best from the three items I ordered although the limes were pretty dry. The burrito was okay, I enjoyed the meat but nothing special about it. I have heard Fuzzy's is more affordable but in this case, you get what you pay for. I did really wanted to try the Oreo churros so maybe I'll return for those but not sure I'd go all the way to Olde Town Arvada just for those.

Oh man I'm shocked how good this place is! Had a blended margarita, friend had on the rocks. I had a beef burrito with sour cream and potatoes. Also tried my friends taco and nachos. Good spot. Good food. Good drinks. As a Southern California/San Diego native I give this a Mexican spot seal of approval! Not the standard "American style" taco shop. Great authentic taste

We got a table within 10 minutes despite it being pretty packed at 7 pm on a Tuesday. We started with the El Minero cocktail which was great as well as esquites and the salsa trio. The Macha salsa is SO good! The esquites was also really good. We ordered a carne asada taco, birria taco, and chicken enchiladas suizas and enjoyed all of them! The carne asada taco was the least exciting so we would probably try something else next time. Overall, a great dinner, we can't wait to go back

He was awesome all night. Their drinks were some of the best in the city. I had a paloma, wife had the casa marg. Both were very fresh tasting. For mains I did some tacos, and she did the enchiladas both ways. I was very disappointed by the Birra Taco. The shell was not a traditional birra shell. It was just some cheesy short rib in a regular street taco corn tortilla. They were all on the same soft tortilla. Maybe because they are 100% gluten free for everything. The lack of gluten really held back the tortillas from being very traditional or very good. The carnitas taco had great flavor. It lacked any crispy bits that separates carnitas from pulled pork. But the flavor was there. The enchiladas were stuffed with chicken. Great flavor for both ways. Creamy jalapeno was the winner. Overall the ambiance was exciting but a bit too loud. It didn't quite require yelling to have a conversation with someone next to you. But definitely a lively atmosphere.

So, we looked for another. We found two. One was way South in Greenwood Village. We tried it, and it was okay, but not the same. The other one was this one in Westminster. So, we drove up there. We liked it. We like it better than we liked the one that used to be in Lakewood. I've always liked the flavors of Mexican food, but I was never really too hot on what is known as "Tex Mex," until Chuy's. I like the restaurant, I like the decor, and I have come to like the food. I admit I always get the same thing because I am vegetarian, and it is difficult to eat vegetarian in a Mexican restaurant. This place KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK serving beans, and rice that are VEGAN! No lard, no animal products, but all the taste, texture, and loveliness of regular Mexican. Even the corn tortillas are vegetarian. The flour tortillas are not, but they are made FRESH on site. I have found that I have come to love their "Big as yo face" burritos smothered in the Ranchero Sauce. The Ranchero Sauce is a milder sauce, but I like the flavor, and I just bring some of my own Ghost Pepper Powder to sprinkle on, and perk it up to standards! I love that I can eat Mexican rice and beans again and not worry about lard, or chicken broth, but with the SAME EXCELLENT flavor. Chuy's has become the only burrito I actually crave. THANK YOU CHUY'S! By the way, I thought the Lakewood location, (now closed), was pretty good. The Greenwood Village wasn't quite as good. The Westminster location, however, is the best of them all. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I love the food, I love the service, and I love the staff. By the way, their salsa that they serve with their chips is pretty darn good, too. It's spicy, but not too spicy, and I think most people will like it. They also serve a chipotle ranch sauce with the chips that has grown on me. I LIKE THIS PLACE! They also have a reward program where you can get free food, and who doesn't love that?
