I was really excited to try Fuzzy's because the space and food look so colorful, fresh, and delicious. The space is absolutely fun and much bigger than you would think from looking at the outside. The food was a bit more of a disappointment. We went during happy hour, so we could enjoy their margaritas and apps. The margaritas were huge and tasted good, but had no alcohol in them, so even at the discounted rate, it wasn't really worth it because it wasn't what we were looking for. The chips and salsa we got tasted like it could've been grocery store chips and salsa. Not bad, but again, we were looking for that extra level of freshness from a restaurant. This place is such a vibe! The drink menu is HUGE and has tons of variety! We went during happy hour so the prices were super low. The way their system works is that you walk to the counter to order and pay for your food. They make the drinks right there for you and then bring food to your table. It's not a restaurant where they come refill sodas or waters, it is self service. Food comes out super quick. All fresh and displayed nicely. I wouldn't say it's the most amazing "Mexican food", it's Americanized for sure. But it's decent. Nachos and queso were my fave! They have house made hot sauce which is really good! Food is average and exactly what you'd expect. The service here was below average as we were in line for 20 minutes when there were only two other people in line. I understand people are new and are learning but it would be nice if they had someone next to her to teach, show, and help her out with orders. My drink wasn't made correctly and our orders were missing sides we had asked for. I got the shrimp tempura soft taco, a ground beef hard shell taco, chips and queso, and the liquid aloha but instead of the lime margarita I asked to switch it out for strawberry to make a strawberry and mango margarita The shrimp tacos and beef tacos were okay. Out of the two, I liked the shrimp taco better but wanted to get a beef taco to compare their beef taco to other beef tacos - using it as a baseline. They are pretty pricey for being about $4 a taco and for what it is. You'd be better off saving some money if you wanted to eat beef tacos elsewhere. Happy hour is great & the food is always good. I've struggled with service here in the past as the employees behind the bar and register have had horrible attitudes, but I'm seeing a few new faces and the service has gotten a lot better. Food is sorta Tex-Mex, but with the whole "smothered in green chile sauce" thing is taken to such extremes (most items on the menu are smothered in something) that it hardly counts as Tex or Mex. More Mish and Mash. We were there on a very crowded street fair night, so it's understandable that they were a bit overwhelmed, but the service wasn't good. Kenedy behind the bar took amazing care of us 4 and made sure everything was out to us in a timely manner despite being incredibly busy. I'm always looking for a good taco spot! I've walked by this place so many times but never went in. A friend wanted to go because she missed the locations in Texas so I went with her. And it was really good! We were shocked that we got served at the table we were sitting at and didn't have to order at the front. I didn't get the server's name but he was super busy and still provided us great service. He made me a virgin margarita that was delicious and the food was also very good. You can get any sort of quick and easy burrito, taco quesadilla, etc. I think that the food was OK but it's not the most authentic Mexican option. I was not too impressed with Fuzzy's. I ordered the brisket burrito, quesabirria tacos, and fajita chicken burrito bowl for curbside pickup. Nice that they offer curbside pickup but there were no parking spots designated for that. Luckily I was able to find side parking right up front. The employee was really nice when she brought the food out. The online ordering system is not great. I could not add extra meat or request less beans or rice or even put in any notes. There were some modification options but not enough. They should take note of Chipotle's ordering system. The fajita chicken burrito bowl did not come with fajita veggies. I had to add that for an extra $1.50, and they did add a lot of veggies, but there was barely any chicken, lettuce or pico de gallo. The tacos were probably the best from the three items I ordered although the limes were pretty dry. The burrito was okay, I enjoyed the meat but nothing special about it. I have heard Fuzzy's is more affordable but in this case, you get what you pay for. I did really wanted to try the Oreo churros so maybe I'll return for those but not sure I'd go all the way to Olde Town Arvada just for those. read more

The only things I liked about this place were 1) the bright decor and 2) the size of the margaritas. Otherwise, I've never had "Mexican" food or tacos with this little flavor. I mean if you just look at the taco photos -- you don't want to eat them. It's a couple of sad pieces of barely seasoned seafood -- with some lettuce, tomatoes, and cotija thrown on top. The "seasoned" rice, beans, and potato sides also tasted so bland, we didn't finish them. Even some salt would have helped. Also, the service (even though they technically don't have servers) was very off-putting. The host up front mumbled something about sitting wherever, and that's all he had the time to say to us. The cashier told us the mango margaritas were sold out, but couldn't actually recommend anything other than the regular margarita (so we just got 2 of those instead of trying a different one). So this is a local taco shop to me. About a 5 minute walk right in a really solid down town location. They just recently renovated the space and it's much more inviting. The outdoor seating is spacious. I once ordered from here and they forgot a taco. I merely emailed and asked if I could just be comped a taco next time. The manager (Samantha) I believe comped me much more than a single taco just to apologize. I've visited Fuzzy's in Arvada twice now for breakfast. As a huge breakfast burrito fan, I've enjoyed both meals. The first time, I asked for reduced eggs. While the second, I added in black beans which balanced the amount of eggs. I've always found some places overload eggs, but it seems Fuzzy's knows their balance! Visited today for lunch with co-workers. They had amazing vegan options and in addition had awesome drinks. We were there to celebrate a new promotion. The food was delicious, fresh ingredients and the service was super fast. We're able to get back to the office in enough time. The staff checked on us frequently. That mountain of perfectly thin and crispy chips, wonderfully tender shredded chicken, drizzled with queso blanco, shredded cheese, feta, pico de gallo, and garlic sauce. You can add a generous dalop of guac, sour cream, and jalapenos. YUM! Did I mention the massive margaritas? No?! Well they're huuuge! They come in a wide variety of flavors and pairings ranging from traditional to boozy deluxe concoctions! My friend and I split the Morning Glory - frozen mango swirled with strawberry margarita and served with a champagne bottle. Fun! My other friend stuck to the more traditional Corona Beerita. For the price the portions are massive! Easily the type of place you come hungry and share everything. The space is fun with tons of bright colors throughout. Fuzzy's has a large patio space out front and upstairs seating too! I know I will continue to be a big fan of Fuzzy's Taco Shop. Wow. This place is awful. Ordered carnitas street tacos, queso, and sopapillas. The carnitas were tasteless and more like boiled pork (or even chicken). Honestly couldn't tell. They were wet, tasteless meat with no real texture or flavor. The queso was a runny yellow liquid with tomato chunks, though the chips were fine. If I good give zero stars I would, but I can't do it gets a one. We just ordered tempura fish and tempura shrimp tacos over postmates from the fuzzy's in Arvada today. Half of the shrimp in the tacos were completely grey and raw. Not cooked at all. We called to inform them. The phone call only lasted about 5 seconds and all they offered was if we wanted to come in and get some fresher tacos and then hung up. My girlfriend had to go throw up to avoid getting poisoning from the raw seafood. This is completely irresponsible and the restaurant should call and inform any other customers that ordered the shrimp tacos to check. They didn't even offer a refund. Ridiculous. This use to be my safe spot to choose type of place but it seems over the last year or so this location has slipped and it's largely due to the kitchen. The past three times I've gone there they have messed up the order or just completely left something off. I use to love the shrimp tempura tacos but last time I got them the shrimp had been massively over cooked and the chicken tacos I got were dripping. It has been very unpleasant. Last night we went to Fuzzy's for the first time with another family of 4. They ordered at one counter while my husband and I placed our order at the same time at another counter. Our friends order came out in a reasonable amount of time. We waited about 10 minutes and my husband went in to check on ours. He was told it wasn't ready. (We each ordered 2 fish tacos). We waited another 10 minutes or so and he took the buzzer in with him to make sure it was working and that we didn't miss being notified. A gal told him to go sit down our food wasn't ready - they would buzz us when it was. When our friends were done eating and ready to leave, my husband took our receipt in and asked again. She said, "why didn't you say something, it's been ready". The person at the counter had put the wrong number in our buzzer so we would never have received an alert. The margaritas were filled completely with ice so you barely got any margarita. Our first time coming here. The first thing is the giant Fuzzys sign out front is right above a door that says exit only. So we went around to another door that was locked. We finally tried the door that said exit only and asked a janitor if they were open. It was noon on Friday and from the outside the place looked dark and empty.
