Torchy's is one of our go-to chains. They are one of the most consistent places we've been visiting since moving to Colorado in 2019. This location is huge. A large dining room with booths and low top tables. They also have a bar with a separate door entrance. It's a nice divide between the bar and the dining room. Order at the counter and yes, they've succumbed to technological ordering on a machine. For the most part, it's visual and effective, but some quirks. I'd still prefer to order from a person, god I sound like a boomer...bring back face-to-face interaction!!! As mentioned, food is extremely consistent. Their queso is awesome and I act like a fiend when it's in front of me. I simply cannot stop eating it. My most ordered taco at Torchy's is the democrat. The barbacoa is sensational, it's damn flavorful. I usually always order this one! I tried their taco of the month, the scallywag with fried shrimp. The shrimp were huge I tell you!!! Overall, it was pretty well balanced with the pickly veg, slaw, and fruity components. I prefer the baja shrimp personally to this one, but that's just me. They really do load up the tacos here and I always walk away full. Happy to have this Torchy's near my son's swim school! read more

Not sure why this place has low ratings. It's a chain, I get it but it's the best comfort food nearby! Tipsy chick and Baja shrimps are my go to. Nachos would be something I wouldn't order again but that Muay Tai taco was bomb.com. The staff was friendly when they're around but most of the time, you can't find them. Ambience was decent. Relatively clean but could be better but also what do you expect for the price you pay? You're here for tacos and these tacos are amazing read more

I did not find April's taco of the month very interesting. It's basically a double patty cheeseburger put on a wheat tortilla. While I appreciate the effort that torchy puts into each in every taco this one just wasn't that appealing to me. At this particular Torchy's, it was all a self service touch screen menu, and there was no one to assist with my order. Consequently I found the checkout process very difficult and navigating their menu and trying to get it to accept some of my reward points was impossible. Once we were able to get food order, it was served promptly, hot, delicious and satisfying as a comfort food lunch. TorchyTorchy's is clean. Servers are always friendly and nice. read more

Tacos were fresh and plentiful in size. Lots of interesting, creative options. Got the Trailer Park and Green Chile Pork. All are customizable. There were two touch screens and a staff member was there at the counter. Sat down with a table buzzer. Food was delivered to our table. Had cups for water and limes/lemons to take which I liked as I use a couple for each taco. There's a place to clear off your tray. Ambiance was spacious and well lit. Lots of tables and plenty of parking lot spaces. Instagram: Firststatevibesde for traveling adventures all around, originating in Delaware read more

After a miss at another Torchys recently, the Westminster location was a breath of fresh air! I stopped by for lunch and there was only one other table when I got there and by the time I left it was almost full in the main area with a growing line of those waiting to order. The chips and queso aka liquid gold are always a good idea and they recently came out with a Torchys bowl similar to a burrito bowl at other establishments. Join their rewards club and you will get rewarded! Fabulous location to visit! read more

Not a fan of the food here or margaritas. I can tell the Tequilla they use is cheap because it gives me a headache when I drink the cheap stuff and you can taste it's not good quality. Food is about the same. Not super impressed with the flavors or quality of the meat. This was my first time trying this place and wouldn't come back. read more

I really enjoy the wide variety of tacos. I have been all over the menu at this point and so far, everything has been great! The service is good as well. I definitely recommend stopping in. You will not be disappointed. read more

Food was decent. The help is terrible! I called to see if I left my jacket there. The worker said, he would check. I waited on the phone over 8 minutes while he was taking orders from other people. I called back and told him how rude that was. He said, the call was dropped! That's bs because, I heard I'm talking to customers for over 8 minutes. All, he had to do is say, he forgot. Instead, of making up a ridiculous lie! I talked to the manager Hunter, who agreed with me, and said he would talk to this worker. What happened to good customer service! read more

Usually this place is pretty good but we stopped by tonight and ended up waiting about 50 mins for a togo order. After waiting for about 20 minutes we asked twice to check the status of our order and both times were told it's on the way. We finally just went up to the front and they had to go back and find our order on the computer. Hopefully this problem gets taken care of. read more

Delicious. Very filling. Austin Texas staple in Colorado. More and more popping up but I would say the quality is still consistent. Even for being a chain. Vegetarian options. Classic meat eater options. Dranks both alcoholic and not. Just a fun vibe to grab some fast casual food. Have a meeting. A date. A family outing and to still cover all your bases as far as dietary requirements. Separate bar at this location. AMPLE parking and outdoor seating. You can call in an order or order ahead online. Fast service. Lots of two tops or four to six tops inside so bring the whole gang. Definitely family friendly but some regulars that just drink at the bar minus the food. Closer to Wadsworth than Sheridan but it's the spot in between the Sheridan and Wadsworth / Highway 36 mashup so you could drive by and miss it in a blink. Prices have raised a bit but what else is new? They have a good menu selection including salad, burritos, desserts, appetizers but mostly tacos as the name suggests. They make a mean margarita and have a decent beer and tequila selection. If you want it less "spicy" you can try the Applebees a half mile away. No other notes. read more

I hadn't been in for a long time... You now have to order from a kiosk when you go in, it was confusing and a terrible experience. Counter service used to be good, with friendly staff. There are much better taco places in the area at much better prices. read more

This Torchy's Tacos may be the best one in the Denver area. It's up north near Westminster but well worth the drive from some of the not so good ones near downtown. The food was hot, fresh and it was clean and well kept in there. I'd definitely go back to this location if I need to itch that Torchy's craving again. Being from Texas, sometimes I just need a taste of back home. read more

This was my first visit to Denver since a visit around Christmas. We didn't make it to Torchy's during that trip so this is my first return visit since my disappointing visit last fall. I was ver funny with tonight's visit. The food was up to the standards of my earlier visits and the service was good. We had 4 adults and two kids in our party and everyone had a great time and a good meal. We had a variety of tacos and fajitas and all were excellent. My personal favorite is the "trailer park, served trashy" (No lettuce with queso). We also ordered an appetizer of tortilla chips with queso - their queso is delicious. The good news is that we now have Torchy's Tacos back in Columbus, OH. One is already open and two are under construction. I won't need to drive to Denver for my Torchy's "fix". This location deserves a 4-star rating again. read more

Service here was fast and friendly. This is a walk up to the counter and order place and then they bring the food to your table. I ordered the steak fajita taco and it didnt quite hit the mark as it was cold and the meat was tough and chewy. For the high price that was charged, I was at least expecting something that was comparable. The dining room however, was large, clean and the soda station was fully operational. read more

So happy we finally stopped by this Torchy's. It was exactly as good as in Austin, TX. My favorite is fried avocado and beef fajitas. Sauces are so great. Love how fast we got our food and that later we've been asked how everything was. Highly recommend to all taco lovers read more

Torchy's, Torchy's, Torchy's. I am completely over the moon about their queso! This fabulous concoction comes out like liquid gold. There is a happy little scoop of guacamole hidden under the cheesy goodness waiting to be discovered. I could literally just eat the queso, but I needed some dinner too. The cashier gave me some good recommendations and I got two of their fabu tacos. I had a Trailer Park taco "trashy." They replaced the lettuce with queso. Do we see a recurring theme here? Possibly. I also had a Baja Shrimp taco. The flavors are fantastic! We sat outside and had only been there but a moment before our chips and queso arrived...sorry got distracted again. The tacos arrived soon after and all was devoured by our party. Outside seating was at the side of the building and we had perfect weather. Did I mention the queso? read more

Omg! Where do I start. We come here at least once a month for over 2 years now and it's always been great service and food, but lately everything has been quite exceptional where I have to write a review! I am super surprised by the 3 stars... I would give this location 5 stars every time. Everyone who works here is SO friendly with great attitudes, which is super rare nowadays and very much appreciated. The food comes out fairly quickly even on busy nights. The drinks and food are delicious! Will forever come here. Thank you all! read more

Another mediocre performance by the crew at Torchy's. Door dash arrived with a tied bag, missing half the order. Last time, they sent a vegetarian meal but opted to add bacon! I'm not sure why I'm patronizing this Texas chain restaurant anyway. By the looks of your 3.5 stars, you're generally C students. Farewell! read more

We did a pretty big online order and it seemed as though they just threw things together, wrapped it in foil and called it good. Simply because it was a big order and had to be done by a certain time? I understand a lunch hour rush and the frustration and speed kicking in to try and make all customers happy but what's the point of being busy if you can't provide quality food? The food was just very underwhelming and disappointing in comparison to past experiences, nothing tasted fresh, items were soggy and the food did not have a long transit path back to us so it wasn't sitting for a prolonged amount of time. multiple items we ordered were prepared incorrectly or were even things we didn't order and specific directions left on individual items were completely dismissed. Not a great impression and was quite bothersome for all of us. read more

We ordered drinks with dinner and the waitress took our pagers and said the bar tender would know where we were seated. We then proceeded to wait nearly an hour for the drinks. When we went and asked the waitress she assured us it would come because it's busy. The drinks never came and when we went up to the bartender she rudely told us to go wait in line again because she lost our order. During this time we also saw the bartender quickly rinse 2 used glasses and fill them again...yuck. At this point we were angry and the same waitress from before stopped by. She told us the drinks should have been tied to the same pager she took from us in the first place and took over 10 minutes to find our orders again. When we asked to speak to a manager, the kitchen manager came out and said we'd be refunded. As of today we haven't been. Skip this place, they clearly don't care about their patrons based on the health standards and customer service practices that were flaunted. Jersey Mike's is next door-- they're clearly the better choice here. We still want our money back. read more

Torchy's was really good. The service was great and the food came out quickly. The shrimp taco was excellent. My friend had the fried avocado taco which looked delicious. She said it was one of her favorite tacos. The guacamole was delicious. They sprinkled Parmesan on top, which I wasn't crazy about so make sure you request no cheese if you prefer not to have it. The margarita was good and way stronger than it tasted so be careful. Haha. Overall this is a great place for a quick, tasty meal read more

First time going since they have switched to self serve. You have to punch in your own order. No people at the front any more. Super sad! Have to go to the bar separately to order a drink. Huge pain in the butt. Customer sevice... zero! read more

They put a chicken nugget in each one of my 4 tacos opposed to a tender. Wild with how much each taco costs. 0/10

We have been coming to this torchys for years, since they opened. We come every. Single. Week. We always feel the service is A+. Amanda and Tyler are the A team behind the bar and they are the reason we keep coming. They know our orders by heart and always make sure our food is correct, or corrected if it's not. Definitely our favorite neighborhood bar. The mist recent management has been fantastic as well. The qeuso is the best! If I could give 4.5 stars for food, I would... but just because sometimes, when I order a trailer park trashy, there might be hardly any queso on it, or sometimes the pico de gallo is really watery making my taco a liquid mess. That's my only feedback on the food though. Atmosphere.... when it's bustling, it's amazing. We stay all night because it's fun! BUT... sometime when it's an hour, or even 90 min from close, the support staff start breaking down the areas of the restaurant that guests are actively in. Like, putting chairs up at the table next to mine. Or sweeping the floors and mats around me, kicking up dust while I'm eating or drinking. I wish management would just make a firm request that the patio side of the restaurant is closing and if we wouldn't mind moving to the interior side. I would be happy to. I totally get that breaking things down before close is necessary, but chairs up and sweeping should probably wait until closer to actual close or when guests are gone. Overall, we love Torchy's and the staff there. read more

Kinda a bummer since we used to go here all the time. My husband and I sat at the bar for 15-20 minutes to get drinks and food today and watched 4 different people come up and get served while we just sat there with menus and tried to get the bar tenders attention. Probably wouldn't be back. Went to Vatos down the way and got food and drinks in like ten minutes. read more

Had a great time and good food @ Torchy's with my GF. She introduced me to this taco madness and some of the best queso around! The Patron margarita was also very fine :) Love that the bar and where you order your food is separated by a great distance, so you can sit at the bar and not be disturbed by those who prefer just food. A pretty cool setup, actually. I had the Mr. Orange taco of blackened salmon and it was surprisingly GOOD! This is just a great place all around. My only complaint would be the "made from scratch" churros that we took home for desert. They were old, hard, and not fresh (???). But, everything else was good, the bar awesome, the staff great and I would return. read more

Love this little place. I used to love right near here and it was a treat to get torchys when I wanted something not super heavy, but delicious. It's street taco style with tons of good options. I love their queso!! Also had a pretty goo drink list with margaritas! The restaurant itself almost feels fast food and super casual, so I'd say a good spot for one or two drinks but not to get drunk by any means. More of a lunch vibe. read more

Torchy's Tacos provides a solid dining experience in the Denver Metro Area. I stopped by Torchy's with some friends last time I was in Colorado, and apparently it's been quite a while since I lived there, because I'm the only one who hadn't heard of Torchy's! My friends raved about it, and I can see why. The restaurant has a neat vibe, and certainly appeals to the modern adult looking for a convenient and comfortable dining experience. The ordering process is not unlike what you'd find at Chipotle, but you'll find that most of their menu is indeed Tacos (as expected), and there are very few non-taco options. There is a very large selection of tacos, and many of them are have funny names that make you laugh without being offensive. The Tacos are actually a good size, and as a result, I'd say the average adult can get away with ordering 2-3 tacos. As far as taste, the restaurant delivers pretty well, not quite authentic, but it suits the American palate well. Keto/ Low carb folks: You can definitely get enough food here, I'd recommend going the route of ordering 3 tacos and just not eating the tortillas. I ordered a burrito (in a bowl) and found that it wasn't really much food for the price. Overall, Torchy's is worth a try, it's got plenty of options, and is a good choice for most. read more

Good value, interesting menu options, and friendly staff make this a good place for tacos. I tried the "Democrat" taco and the "Crossroads" taco, which both have beef. They came out cold and didn't have a whole lot of flavor. The Mexican rice, on the other hand, has a good amount of flavor and was warm and delicious. I think it's worth another shot and maybe a major amount of sauce! read more
