Yuck! Staying in town during covid-19 and was looking for a place to pick up some food and bring back to our place. Menu looked and sounded amazing!! We got a deluxe appetizer, Mongolian beef and house fried rice. Everything in the appetizer was either over breaded and greasy, or completely dried out. The house fried rice was so dried out, I took one bite and didn't eat anymore. The meat in it looked questionable and dried out also, I never even tasted that part. Ordered takeout over the phone, which was very easy and the service was just fine. Didn't get any napkins or forks in our bag. The food was good, but not great. Mostly just "ok". You don't get a lot for what you pay. We got two platters (Kung pao chicken and sweet & sour chicken), which were very heavy on the sauce but very light on the actual meat. They came with little salads which had a dressing that didn't taste very "Asian", but the pork gyoza and the spring roll that also came with the platters were good. Kanab is not known for a wide selection of food choices but this is a place that sticks out. Although the decor is lacking the service and location are enough to bring you in, then the quality of food keeps you. This place is terrible! The broth in my veggie soup was great but the veggies tasted old and slightly rotten. I was going to just eat the noodles and broth when I saw the bug floating on top. I told the waitress and she took it away but she still charged us. We asked to have the soup removed from our bill and they only offered to remove 10% which was -4 off our bill. The food was yummy and we all enjoyed our meals - chicken and beef curry are both delicious, and the coconut shrimp and chicken veggie stir fry were also good. The restaurant was full the entire time we were there, and seems like a popular place with locals as most people seemed to know other customers in the restaurant. Walked in almost walked out. Place is in serious need of a refresh. But we were tired and hungry so we stayed. Waiter recommended the Mongolian beef and my wife ordered the chicken katsu. I had chicken curry and the chicken was thick and rubbery. The curry was nasty. Only the rice was somewhat passable. My wife had the chicken lomain and she could only eat one piece of chicken. It was nasty tasting also. She ate some of the noodles but basically we left there with almost full plates and hungry. The service is nothing to write home about either. I ordered a chow mein here. It came out dripping with sauce, and pretty sure they used spaghetti noodles. The sauce was really salty to the point it was uncomfortable to eat, so I only took 4 bites. So I asked them if they can remake it or take it off the tab. The owner said it wasn't made with any additional salt, so they won't remake it, but they can take off 50% off the bill since apparently I ate half (but I only took a few bites). We came here July 2020. It's located in downtown Kanab, about 25 minutes drive from the city of Orderville where we were staying. Because of COVID guidelines, when you come in, there's a table with hand sanitizer available for use. The staff had their masks on and the waitress that helped us was polite....we ordered chicken curry rice, chicken curry noodle bowl, chicken noodle soup and rock n roll sushi roll. The food was delicious. The broth for the curry noodle bowl, which I had, was heartwarming. It was like home cooking at its best. I was craving for it again the next day and the day after that. I had the beef curry noodle soup with a side of fried tofu the soup was beautifully hot and spicy the noodles were great , my only criticism would be it needed more vegetables but they are available as an ad on so it's more my fault really , my wife's pineapple chicken was delicious some bell pepper would have added to the dish but again minor criticism . Oh my gosh, this place was awesome!! We walked around and found a couple of way expensive (for me) places to eat and then settled on the Fusion House. It was delicious! My daughter said it was some of the best sushi she has had. The people on the next table ordered sushi, and then liked it so much, they ordered a bunch more. Based on reading other reviews, I was bracing for the worst as far as atmosphere/cleanliness goes. The interior was not as outdated or dirty as some other reviews portrayed this place to be. I've been to much worse places that served some of the best food I've ever had. I ordered the beef curry. I have to say that the curry they serve tastes more like the curry I used to eat in Japan than Japanese curry I've had in much larger U.S. metropolises. Where they went wrong with this dish was throwing in broccoli and zucchini. Broccoli absolutely does not match with Japanese curry. Onions, carrots and potatoes are what should be in Japanese curry. One other thing that took away from a good dining experience was the kid sitting at the table in the front (not a diner) playing online video games and letting all of us in the dining room hear how poor his performance on the game was the entire time. We went to Peekaboo to get ourselves a good vegetarian menu. We found Fusion because the wife wanted Chinese but for both of us, vegetarian was required. What the wife wants, the wife usually gets (guys, you get this I'm sure). I happy to enjoy Veggie Asian so off we went on the recommendation from Peekaboo. They were about 15 minutes away from closing but were VERY welcoming and encouraging to not worry about closing time (owner and employee). Very nice start. It's a comfortable little place but the focus is on the food. For us, it was a little pricey. For the area, it's in the ballpark. My wife had a mixed veggie with tofu dish (turned out to be a light brown sauce) which was quite tasty. She did a combo so got a spring roll (really good) and some soup which we both thought was fantastic (and we've had a lot of Chinese-style soup). We also got a fried tofu appetizer which, ironically, tasted like fried tofu. My meal was decent. Hers was quite tasty. The service was great. Very nice experience. read more

We went for lunch at Fusion House in Kanab, when they were open just for about three weeks. To our surprise they had many customers, and were reasonably busy, but looked a bit stressed. The Chicken Katsu Curry was really tasty. We also appreciated the Mochi Ice Cream. I had it with mango flavor wrapped in dough. They also cater for vegetarian which is important with Best Friends animal sanctuary around the corner. We got takeout from this place as when we got there on thanksgiving night the line was out the door. Although they took a little while to take our order, the food was ready in 10-15 minutes. We got the edamame, vegetable gyoza, tofu nuggets, and tofu veggie with steamed rice.
