First was a large, two sided menu for Restaurant Week, Second was a multi-page menu, and third was a hard back menu with a bunch of pages. It was all very confusing. We ended up ordering the Restaurant Week deal, which was a ton of food for $36 each, a really good deal but way too much food for 2 people. The food came out quickly, too quickly to be honest. Within a 3 minute timespan, we got our salad, soup, appetizer, and sushi. Four minutes after that, all the meat and veggies were delivered to our table (I'm looking at photo time stamps for exact timing involved) The proteins and veggies were good and grilling our own meat at the table was a fun activity. The soup was just bad, to be honest. I didn't recognize what type of sushi was included, so asked the server- it was a little slice of roasted beef atop of a little mound of rice. Roast beef sushi?? The menu included our choice of 3 small desserts, so we ordered the vanilla ice cream and green tea ice cream. The server came back and said they were out of that latter, so we both got vanilla ice cream, which was disappointing. The best part, pricing is clear. Everything on the belt is $3.45 per plate, subject to change, of course. The sushi was fresh and the portions were in line with the prices. If you've never had conveyor belt sushi or you just want to try something a little unique to the Cincinnati area, Kawa is the place. While this location is a little out of the way for us, Hyde Park is a quick drive and we will return.

I wish I would have known to ask for takeout containers to split up the extra also. Our salads and soup arrived first and then almost everything arrived at once, hot and fresh! The salad had the dressing on the side in cute heart shaped bowl. The soup was traditional and was hot and tasty. Next up appetizers - the menu didn't indicate the gyoza was deep fried but it was very good too. Crispy on the outside and moist and filling in the middle. The crab Rangoon had been mentioned in previous reviews and I'm so glad we tried it. It's on the sweeter side but filling is very creamy with pieces of imitation crab. I'd recommend them both.
