Loved it, everyone was so nice and worked hard to make sure you were having a great time. Can't beat the employees or the games not to mention the value for your money. Second time we went and both times have been memorable read more

We had a lot of waiting to do on a day it wasn't even busy. Employees were just not there to let us on attractions unless we asked. It took 25min for my personal pizza, salad, and fries! read more

Very expensive for rides! Bumper boats fountain is on, but boat squirt guns turned off until summer!? $6 dollar a ride, be sure to save for your fun work outings...#armandleg read more

We came on a Wednesday and used a 2 for 1 coupon we had for the extreme wristband. I am so glad I did not pay for both because it was not worth it!! The staff is very unfriendly, the place is kept dirty, and it takes way too long for you to get your food order (it doesn't taste good enough to pay for or for the 20 minute wait). It wasn't even busy and every table (which only one was being used) had food left on them and on the seats. We had to wait 10 minutes at the front desk to get the mini golf clubs (we would've waited longer if we didn't decide to just go behind the desk and get them ourselves). AND 2 of the attractions that came with the wristband weren't even open!! Save your money, go to Boomers! read more

Very fun place. The pizza is always great and reasonably priced. There are many places within the building and outside to go and have fun. The kids love it. read more

I gave three stars cause the outside play good and pizza but drinks are not so good and don't serve beer for adults..

Very expensive!! Theater is great. Go carting was good too. We had the 5 hour unlimited Groupon pass. Bumper boats were a little lame as none of the squirters were on. Just bumped around a little until we got bored. Don't like that the arcades are all different prices. Over all, ok place to take your kiddos for some fun if your ok spending $$$ for a group of 7 with no discounts. read more

This place is so ridiculous! The go-carts are so unorganized and it's a completely stupid system they go by age n height for the go-carts so if you want a faster one say your over 13 yr old so your child can race the same time as you! They should be going by height not both. They run two different races the faster cars and the slower speed cars except they skip the slower car multiple times so they wait in line double the time. The staff was not helpful in guiding you to the correct line or explaining why or how it works. I'd rather go to boomer next time at least it's fair and easy your either tall enough to ride alone or your not!! read more

Fun thing to do whenever, except if your gonna play the Battin cages you gotta make reservations ahead of time. But had fun!

Spent a couple hours there today, below average place. It's pretty dirty, the line in order to get cards/wrist bands is ridiculous. You have to get in line for just about everything, even the food court. The "3D" attraction was of very low quality. Prices are too high for place. The batting cage stopped working as we played, then later the go carts had to be refueled, prolonging wait time for those in line. Extremely packed on Sunday's. read more

This place was pretty fun but the only thing that will keep myself and my family going is that this place has cockroaches... I wont eat their either I have a huge problems with bugs especially where they're are food.. please get this taken care of asap.. read more

I've been coming to this place ever since I was about 10 years old, I loved it then for its attractions, arcade games, and atmosphere, and am happy to say that now as an adult I still love it for the same reasons. Now, I have my kids to enjoy it with, and every time I bring them here they spend hours upon hours riding go-carts, mini golfing, and eating pizza. Usually it would cost an arm and a leg for a family to play all day, but at Funworks everyone can play all day everyday for very affordable prices. I love tons of things about this place, but one of my favorites is the fact that they offer bundles and deals on food, games, and all attractions. read more

Over charge on games! Over book birthday party's so other guests can't even sit inside with there children and eat when it's hot out! And rude employees! Hmmm yes so over this place! read more

I come here often for the batting cages, and never had any problems whatsoever. Today I tried to use a Groupon and it was not accepted, even though it hasn't expired and my friend with me just recently redeemed the same one. It was six o'clock in the evening, the batting cages were not crowded at all. Darrell was completely unwilling to accommodate us and was very rude. I told him we had just used the same Groupon without a problem on a previous day, and he responded, "They were probably training or the person who helped you didn't know what they were doing." I find that hard to believe as there were numerous employees working that day, and they all went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves, and received what we paid for. Darrell obviously doesn't share that work ethic. I will not be coming back here for the batting cages anytime soon. read more

My first time at Funworks yesterday and I loved it! Especially the fact there were no long lines. The rides were fun except the XD theater. I guess being more for kids it was wasn't that extreme...It doesn't have many rides but still a good place to go for the day for the locals. read more

It was our first time here and we enjoyed ourselves. The arcade and mini golf areas need major updating but it got the job done. The prices aren't too expensive either. We probably won't be back. read more

First and last time here, came from Manteca with my husband and 2 little girls. Ordered taco salad with the beef looking like big sausages. It was absolutely disgusting and unappetizing. I paid .40 cents for a side of ranch for my fries and it was curdled/spoiled. I nicely waited for the line to be gone so I can inform the 16 year old staff respectfully that I was not pleased whatsoever with the taco salad I paid $7.00 for and the teenager said that she's pretty sure I will not be able to receive a refund and that she thinks their are signs that say so when you walk in lol. NOWHERE AROUND OR NEAR THE SNACK BAR do these signs exist. She then went to get the manager, the teenager came back and said the manager said no refund. I said "okay, she's coming over here right?" She said "umm, no, but you can go talk to her if you want." I said thanks! I went to ask to speak to the "manager" Carmen and all I have to say is, unprofessional, rude and immature. That's why little girls like Carmen will stay working at a child's arcade..making $10.00 an hour.Acting like she's a CEO. Her attitude/demeanor before I even spoke was nothing short of disgusting. Carmen with a disgruntled demeanor, referred me to a business card with the manager's name on it "Tiffannie Raney" and stated that I can try to get a refund but probably won't.And said so as she turned her back and walked away.My positive feedback is that the young teens working there are nice and approachable.I would've enjoyed my visit here with my family if I would have even been humored by Carmen and she could've pretended that she cared. She must be related to the owner's/manager. I'm sorry Carmen hates her job/life. read more

I absolutely hate coming to places like this. It's loud smells bad and expensive but my daughter loves it and I'd do anything for her! Did have an awesome time last night though with my daughter and my friend and her son. Had a huge headache when we left but seeing how much fun the kids had and spending time with my lady makes it all worth it!!! Great people watching too lol! All they need to make it a little easier to handle is beer!!!! read more

Literally sucked the money out of my pocket(no food just play) for a few hours of fun with my son but he had loads of fun!

Came back today Day was amazing again everyone was so helpful here the deals are so nice too plus Halogate was a great investment for funworks. read more

Funworks is a great place for little kids. There is a food court but is slow and very poor quality. Yes when I was younger I loved hanging out for hours with friends but now that I step back and look on the experience it wasn't that great. Many of the games are old and should be replaced and there is not that many to even choose from. The staff is there to assist after you can find one, and when you go to an attraction you end up searching for an employee to operate it. Honestly I would take my kid if they were under 10. read more

Very disappointed with service here. "Lead" man was not thrilled to be helping us at all. My last review I accidentally deleted. More to story, but will NOT be coming back here. read more

I take my kids here because there is only so much to do in Modesto and they always have fun. I just wish the food was better and they keep the play area cleaner. read more

So fun. It doesn't have shade for the mini golf. But I had a lot of fun with the cars and the golf. Highly recommend for having a family fun day read more

We had soo much fun. My niece did better then me only cause I let her win. We had such a good time. Each hole is entertaining and the place has soo much to offer. I certainly recommend coming here with family friends or a date. We'll be back for certain read more

Lot's of fun, some things were not working, but I have worked in an Arcade so that's normal.. Karting Fun - Funny thing is that they do not set up for the next race while one race is going with the cars, waiting around a really long time with nobody racing on the track is a bit of a bummer, especially watching people load, when you know you're not going to make this run and hopefully the next. read more

Expensive! Everything is spendy. Don't forget your socks for the indoor play area. Or you will pay 2 dollars for each kid on top of getting in price. But overall fun place if u got the cash. read more

Went here for my 6th grade end of the year field trip and had the best time! I played mini golf with my best friends and we enjoyed it so much! The go karts are really fun and it's also fun to race your friends and the food is amazing even though it is expensive! The bumper boats were perfect that day because it was so hot! I definitely recommend coming here for family fun! read more

No beer but fun! This place is just good family fun.

Been going to this place ever since I was a kid! It's a lot more noisier now, so loud it will probably burst your eardrums. Games are pretty crowded together and the space inside is pretty small. Outside in the back is a different story! The go carts are the best thing about this place! The mini golf is pretty fun too. The food is incredibly undercooked and overpriced though! Need new management or something! read more

We bring our boys here for fun & they love it! Specially the Tree play house. They can spend hours in it playing & getting their energy out. Great for rainy days or just for fun! $5 for my oldest and $1 for my baby :) read more

This place has great potential. Like many other places in Modesto, it seems to be ok with just a middle of the road place to go. Nothing to give it a "wow factor". We went on a Saturday morning and used a Groupon. Great deal for what we got! For going so early in the morning the place was not clean. The tree house play area (once again great potential) was full of empty garbage presumably from the day before. The miniature golf is incredibly outdated. How much would it cost for a simple paint job and to fix the bumpers? I wish places like this in Modesto would go the extra mile. Make the miniature golf place something to be excited about with exciting lanes and extra features. read more

The rides were super fun. Me and my cousins absolutely had a blast. Although it was a little on the pricey side, the employees were very friendly and kind. It was totally worth it to come. I would certainly recommend it to family and friends! read more

My huband and I take the kids to play arcades all the time, so this was a twist on where we usually go. Not only did they offer arcades but also bumper cars mini golf a batting cage, water fun and go carts. We all had a lot of fun and the staff was great! read more

Great place to take the family. Go carts are fun and the track is better than boomers

This place has great customer service! My husband left his phone in the Xd theater and the attendant turned it into the lost and found. I lost one of the game cards but because I saved my receipt they made it very easy to replace. The attendants were all very helpful and there was so much to do! Most of all I love that my 4 year old was able to ride the go karts and do more here than at other places we've been. read more

The people who work at the gokart suck, especially the main supervisor, they take the fun out of it. I was taking the inside on a turn, the person turned tight and slightly bumped me, I mean slightly bumped (not spun out or anything) ..just a bump. They slowed my kart down for 1 full lap. And warned me to not bump very rudely. Like calm down buddy, I wasnt even the one who bumped. Bottom line, they take all the fun away with the strictness. If your looking for gokart fun this is not the place. read more

It was our first time here. I like how they have a kids play area and arcade games. My kids had fun here. Friendly staff and the prices are decent. The staff is pretty friendly. And we went on a weekend and it wasn't crowded at all. Can't wait to bring my kids here again. read more

Once again batting cages for soft ball not working, no fast and no medium. Going to drive to Manteca from now on. Place makes more than enough $$ to cover the basics but is always only half or not working and the staff generally can't tell you what day it is let alone give good customer service. read more
