Located in the quaint heart of Twain Harte, you'll find families, teens, and adults out in dates putting their way through this classic course, smiling ear to ear. During our stay we played twice. The course is on the easier side, but still a lot of fun. As someone who doesn't golf regularly, I enjoyed being able to park or better on most holes and found that added to the experience a lot, especially playing the game with children because it was easier to show and teach them. My 5 year old had a blast and proclaimed he was a pro after two holes. The obstacles are old school and largely analog, which adds to the vibe. The course is nestled in some trees and the grounds are really well kept, which is very impressive considering this course has been around for 70 years, and everyone is respectful, and the staff is super friendly. I may be an adult but this course is still a blast! For only $5 a round this is the best deal in town. There are some difficult holes but still fun for all skill levels (but it did help I played golf the day before!). It is set back off the main street in a nice wooded garden type area. There are plenty of seats along the way and lots of great photo opportunities. For $50 you can become a patron of the course and they will add a customized stone to the course with your name or message. This is very unique and makes it feel like a true local spot. ***Covid-19 update*** They are currently limited all groups to a maximum of 5 people. This is simply the best mini golf around. I have come here ever since I was a kid and it has not failed to still impress me as an adult. Everything is thoughtfully built and made to look magical. They've recently made some improvements to the holes which is greatly appreciated! Some got a little easier. There was one near the back end that used to have a wood plank that would absorb all momentum which now has ceased to exist! Each hole is unique and reminds me of lucky charms. Had a *very* disappointing experience last week with my family and kids here due to the employee "Cam" (? - Kam). We've been going there annually for 15 years. This employee single-handedly ruined the experience for my kids and myself in just one visit...would appreciate the owner reaching out to us directly and providing a direct telephone number so we can bypass her and tell you what happened and how she treated us. It may be hard to find help these days but someone like her is more damaging to your business than you may realize. There were 9 kids with us who now have a bittter taste in their mouth about your place too. They went up to camp gold and shared it with others and parents...word gets around. I am not seeking any free games or free anything. Just want you to know how she behaved and what could have been a polite exchange and a positive situation went south because of her behavior. I've been coming here since I was a little kid, and it never gets old. This is a compact miniature golf course located in the quaint town of Twain Harte. There are 18 holes plus one fun freebie hole at the very end (good luck making that sucker!). There are lots of fun obstacles on just about every hole to keep things interesting. It can get busy on the weekends, but during the week in the afternoons, it's slow enough that you can really take your time. I know that they are closed during winter, so get your fix while you're able to! The people that work there are always really fun and friendly too! The decor is nice and there are lots of shade providing trees. Games were $4.50/person when we were there and they're $5.00/person later in the evenings which is a heck of a steal! (Prices are at time of publication of this review. They might change at some point so don't rely 100% on this knowledge). Friendly staff, fun old-school course. Took our 4 year old grandson one day and he wanted to go the next day too. A great time was had by Grandma and Grandpa too. The park and pool are in close proximity, so it makes for a nice afternoon. We'll return again and again! read more

We love this place! My son begs to go every time we are in town. Our family is always up for it, from 7 years old to 80 years old! Super fun for all ages. The owners are amazingly friendly and just had a beautiful little boy, who we were blessed to meet on our last visit. I did not have the same experience as another yelper. Clown was working (my opinion, the creepy little things should stay in a box, LOL), customer service was excellent and the course was clean & in working order. The ONLY complaint I had was the incredibly rude family behind us that pushed us through. Literally stepping onto our putting green before we were done with each hole. The adults were just as poorly behaved as their children. In a nutshell, it's good, family fun!! We will most definitely be repeat customers. read more

My mom lives in Twain Harte so we make this part of our rotation of things to do when we go up. It's cheap and not to massively big so it's perfect for the littles! Gets hot in summer so go early. They have little snacks and candy to buy when you finish which is always a hit with kids right?? I'm sad it's only open on weekends now starting in fall and winter... since we always went up during week. Definitely cute place to check out and do a round of mini golf with your family! read more

How can you say anything but wonderful things about this place? Well besides the dreaded volcano and goldmine hole this place is a treat. Sure its not as big as the majority of the mini golf in the world but that's what gives TH Mini Golf it's charm. It is only $4 for a round which is pretty cheap, even in this economy. One of my personal favorites is the suckers that are 4 for a dollar. The cute old couple that own the place are so nice and friendly. They are the type of folks that you would love to have as your grandparents. I noticed that one yelp reviewer wasn't pleased with lack of bathrooms. I mean why would you only give a great place like this 1 star because you had to walk 30 paces to take your kids to the bathroom. Really....Really? This adorable little place is slow-going in the summer (you almost always have to wait for each hole), but nothing beats some good, old-fashioned family fun outside on a warm night. Everything is cute and handmade - you'll find none of those huge commercial castles or windmills at this quaint little course. When my family visits my parents cabin just a few miles up the road we always make a stop at the mini golf place in Twain Harte. I am simply amazed at how well they utilize the space here, for such a small lot they pack in 18 legitimate mini golf holes with a decent degree of difficulty particularly for the little ones. The pricing is super fair and the locals and others who golf here are super friendly and patient too. My daughter is really just learning how to hit a golf ball and how to hold a putter so she takes a long time on a hole but again we've never felt pressured to speed it up. There are always tons of families hanging out with their kids hitting balls on and off their own hole so it's actually quiet comforting to know we're not the only ones holding up the flow of the game. Sure some of the holes could be more difficult or creative but given the space as I said above they do a great job offering a fun afternoon experience. Overall a fun little stop that our family will continue to visit time and time again and when my brother is up to it a place where his little brother can show him up on the mini links!! read more

I've been playing this little golf course since I was 2 or 3. And that is a Very Long Time. I remember being frustrated playing when I was young as I am a lousy putter. But as I've gotten older (and a bit wiser) it's just plain fun. We come as a family every time we are in town and always have a blast; laughing and cheering the whole time. The Atkins are a great "addition" to the Pee Wee Golf Course. They are sooo very personable! They have added to the landscaping making the place more homey. This place is the life of twain Harte...the town is so small. This mini golf place was packed. Super simple, minimal obstacles but the owners and employees are so friendly! If you play multiple games each game after is $.50 off. We went Sunday Labor Day and if it was still busy at closing they would stay open. read more

I love this place considering I had the game of my life last week scoring eight under par. However, I have been playing for 25 years on this same course so I guess I have home court advantage over most. I have been coming to this place ever since I was a little girl. We have spent many competitive matches with family and friends enjoying this wonderful spot. I feel like it is an institution in Twain Harte. The couple that runs it has been there ever since I was old enough to hold a club. They are so sweet and welcoming and we look forward to seeing them every summer. I love Twain Harte Mini Golf. It's been one of my favorite places to go in Twain Harte since I was a kid. Granted, I've only won a couple games in the twenty or so summers I've spent in Twain Harte, but it's so much fun that it hardly matters. My favorite hole, hands down, is the gold mountain one (hole #14, if I'm not mistaken). It's tough to get through either of the tunnels, but if you can perfect the art of hitting the ball over the mountain and onto the green on the other side, it's much easier and more exciting. Aside from the holes, it's also fun to check out the names on the stepping stones all around the course. They have a lot of older names so if you've got a unique name, you probably won't find yours. But it's enjoyable nonetheless. The elderly couple that own the place are sweet and always ask how I'm doing. It's a very welcoming atmosphere and every year I have to squeeze in at least one game of mini-golf when I go to TH. read more
