Pine Mountain offers not only an exceptional dining experience, but views which are among the best to be found in the Sierra's. It's not on the main highway, but for food and views like this a short drive is well worth it. The menu offers a full range of dishes, with entrees that include fish, chicken and steaks. Their prices are quite reasonable if you consider the exceptional quality of all their food. As eating without drinking isn't quite as much fun, there's a full bar that serves cocktails, wine, and beer. The bar prices are actually better than most restaurants with comparable quality food. If you're passing through Groveland for whatever reason, and you want an exceptional dining experience, stopping here would be an excellent choice!

We visited 2x while on vacation and would HIGHLY recommend a visit! Food was delicious, service was amazing and you have a beautiful view of the golf course. Thank you so much for making our anniversary memorable! Even gave us free desert for my husbands birthday and our anniversary.

A long awaited review for myself only because they had been renovating the grill for some time now. Let me start with the service. Everyone was attentive, and knowledgeable on the menu and bar. If you want a reasonable price drink with no skimped alcohol they have it. The appetizer we got was the ahi tuna, which was packed with unique flavors that blended well together. Now for our plates. My boyfriends dad got the prime rib 10 oz (former butcher) he gave it all a solid 8. Not quite the best he's ever had but still memorable. As for me I got the ribs and the potatoes and ribs were delicious the coleslaw was not up to par, being that i love coleslaw i feel that it lacked flavor but overall i give it an 8. My boyfriend go the salmon, he said "I regret sharing it" he loved the Thai chili sauce and he gave it an 8 as well. The location is nowhere near most restaurants so i would say this is a must go to place for family and friends this summer and summers to come.

On top of our pricey stay, we paid a $50 fee to stay in the community. This is fine, but everytime we came back, we still needed to wait in the long visitor line only to be waved in once they see our pass. There's got to be a better way. 2. Visitors also don't have electronic passes, so there's a strict path that you can drive or else you'll hit a gate that you can't go through and is owner only. This means often a 10m drive to your house. It also meant driving around the entire lake to get to Fisherman's Cove because the closer paths are owners only. (Fisherman's Cove and Marina Beach are very pretty though!) 3. To play pickleball, you'd think it'd be covered under the $50 fee? But no, it's another $8pp/day. So for a 4 person game, it'll cost $32. This is more expensive than renting a court in Santa Monica!

This is in no way the owners fault but we had to wait in line every single time to enter the cmty. There are over 3k units in the community, many of them rentals -but only 1 guest line for registered and unregistered guests--on busy weekends, multiple cars in front of you are registering so you have to wait even when you are already registered. On our arrival day we waited over 30 mins. The next day tired from a full day in Yosemite-over 20 mins. The third day we almost didn't leave bc of the hassle, but I ran out for groceries and it was still over 20 mins. It was honestly infuriating after paying the $50 parking fee for the stay. The Homeowners Association is making a killing off the fee -so they should at least create a 3rd line for already registered guests. I loved the unit but bc of this we unfortunately would never stay at any property at Pine Lake again.

The front is a par 38 and the back is a par 32. Par 32, piece of cake, right? Wrong. The back is demanding and extremely narrow. You have to play smart, hit your shots, and leave your shots to green in the right place. The pro shop is rocked well enough and both Bob and Chris are excellent. The practice areas here are enough to get you ready for your round, or allow you to work on your game. The driving range is rough, but it works. There is an outside deli window that is open for most of the year that you can grab stuff at the turn at, and the bar has dogs and chips when the deli is closed. The restaurant has huge glass windows that let you lookout onto the course at dinner and the food has always been excellent. Everyone I have ever met here has been kind, personable, and easy-going. It's not a stuffy club. Come in the summer and watch kids cannon ball off the diving board. It's a great place to golf, a great place to just be, and it's definitely one of my happy places.
