Had lunch here again today and again was very satisfied with everything. My nephew loves coming for the pizza and the games, I like coming here because i don't have to go to multiple locations for him to have fun. We like the toon room, I love the 90s vibes. I spoke with Tanya who helped us with tickets, she was very nice I also was assisted by Kiernan with our card in one of the game machines who was very cheerful and helpful. Thank you. read more

We celebrated my grandson's bday on Sunday Aug 23rd. Highly disappointed in the service. The food area was dirty. Salad dressing was watered down. The slushie machine was all watery syrup. The vanilla & chocolate ice cream was also watery. My niece and granddaughter both went to make an ice cream cone, only to have their clothing sprayed by the machine. No cups were clean for drink machines and there was no ice in the machine. When i spoke with the manager on shift of all the food buffet issues, she said we are working on it. For the amount of money families spend for their child to have fun or a great bday, this issues should be addressed immediately. I can understand one issue but several all at once is a lack of management and operations. Noone apologized or even acknowledged the complaints. There were several upset customers. Arcade area was poorly ran. The hosts were rude and impatient with the kids. We paid for the laser tag to be part of the bday package. Yet we were unable to get anyone to open it up. We waited for an attendant to come and no one showed up. The reason...they were short staffed and are doing their best to open each ride as it permits. We should've been refunded. District manager really needs to pop in and see how this place is ran. read more

We went as a family of 7 on Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 6-8:45 p.m. This was not our first time and the last time was about 2 1/2 yrs ago. The dining rooms were dirty, not clean, tables & floors. The price? OUTRAGEOUS! Considering it was dirty, it was a ghost staff, and majority of games were not in working order plus some had no signs sayin inoperable so tokens were lost. Miniature golf's ball machine was not dispensing balls appropriately. The golf room was old & worn. The bowling alley was non functioning. The screens you are to push when needing assistance were inoperable & they had ONE employee working the whole entertainment/ride room. We paid Waaay too much money for such a worn down, ghost town of a place with non operating games. Eating cutlery was missing and it was almost impossible to catch someone running out quickly to food area before they disappeared to back to get any help. One of the soda machines was not all in working order. The station was dirty. A waste of soooooooooo much money & time. read more

The cleanliness of the dining areas and the buffet areas have a lot to be desired. At the time of our arrival. most of the tables were dirty with used plates cups, At the buffet there are many dishes that are empty yet the residuals are just sitting there with dirty containers. Much of the food was not hot. At the dessert area there were probably only two different desserts and both of the ice cream machines were disgusting. When attempting to ride two of the rides, there were no attendance there in order to start the ride for the guests. Some of the games state we will receive tickets, unfortunately, unfortunately no tickets were dispensed. Prices are outrageous. Definitely do not reflect the experience. we definitely will never be back to this establishment. read more

Went to a birthday party last night at John's Incredible Pizza and the kids had a blast!!! Birthday party pricing is really a great deal and affordable. There are a million games, rides, and food options. There was a pretty good mix of pizzas available at all times along with salads, desserts, and multiple varieties of other food. Everything was fresh and flavorful. 95 percent of the games were on and working which is high compared to other places we've been recently. Kids loved the fishbowl game and claw machines. The only reason for taking off a star is because the little kid roller coaster was turned off the whole time until a random dad turned it on and out his kids on it. This made me question why it was even off on the first place as the facility had plenty of staff. read more

I had the pleasure of visiting John's incredible pizza for my son's summer school field trip today and while I was studying and working on my assignments a nice gentleman named, Ronald cleared my table to make sure I had enough space for all my electronics and offered assistance when needed. I also noticed he paid extra attention to detail while cleaning the tables and chairs. I will return based off my interaction with him. read more

First time going to a John's incredible pizza . This review is mainly for the employees , we got greater by two wonderful girls at the front , we didn't know how it worked since it was our first time but the both helped us out so much and explained how everything worked . When we got seated in Disney theme area . We where greeted by Ronald his such an amazing guy and helped us so much . Overall the staff is wonderful also a woman in the food area helped me shout out to her because I was looking for chicken nuggets for my son. You have a wonderful staff , the only take away would be if the gaming area could be more cleaned . I understand its a children area but I would say only down side was the cleanliness of the whole gaming area but staff was wonderful also. read more

Their policy is ridiculous. One MUST pay for the all-you-can-eat spread for a birthday party, even if, as the grandparents, there is no intention of eating or playing games. Grandparents just want to be a part of their grandkids' birthday gathering! After being sent away, I sent 2 online attempts at speaking with anyone at the corporate level, but they didn't call back like the online form promised. I made suggestions. They could give wristbands to the party attendants, different colors for eaters vs watchers...Or hand stamps. Just allow grandparents to be included in their grandchild's party without paying the ridiculous $26 entrance fee! After the party, I was told that the ice cream machine was out of order. So the staff added a freezer of ice creams that could be purchased in addition to the high entrance fee. In addition, the place was not cleaned well and the bathrooms were filthy. All in all, if there was a way to give a zero rating, that's what they deserve! read more

Great birthday party experience! Large arcade/game area, with enough room for a wheelchair to move around. They have party rooms with party hosts; Michael, Alexia and Dalila our hosts were AMAZING! They were prompt, helpful, never far away and happy. Thank you team, we appreciate you! They have a buffet that accommodated many age groups in our family; pizza, pasta, soups, salad bar, other hot food, fountain drinks and desserts. Consumer beware of this place's online presence. It says they are open until 10pm HOWEVER after driving over an hour we learned at 8:31pm that we could not get food because the buffet closes at 9pm! No where online does it say there's different hours! And even though we asked if we could go in to play a bit we would have to pay the full entry fee and still not be able to eat.....makes no sense to not have honest representation of the business online..... read more

I have had my daughter's bday party here for two years in a row and it has been the BEST thing EVER!! We don't rent a room or anything we pay up front and use the quietest room (cabin fever) and have her party. We are able to bring cake and cupcakes and a small amount of decorations to celebrate her. The staff is always super friendly and the place is clean. The food is pretty good too. I highly recommend. read more

1 Star - Never Again for My Family I booked a special birthday party for my daughter Liana, who just turned nine, expecting a fun and memorable day -- instead, it turned into a total nightmare that's unfortunately going to stick in her memory for all the wrong reasons. The management at this location is absolutely terrible. We witnessed a manager fighting with a customer right in front of families and children. Completely unprofessional and uncomfortable. On top of that, the food stations were constantly empty -- nobody was refilling anything. I literally had to go get pizza myself for the kids, because apparently the birthday rooms only get cheese pizza? That makes zero sense when there's supposed to be a buffet included. Staff barely interacted with the kids, and the little time they did spend felt rushed and forced. It's like they just wanted to get it over with. The yogurt machine was broken, the food that was available was old, cold, and disgusting. It felt like everything was falling apart. This place used to be fun years ago, but now it's just a mess. I do not recommend John's Incredible Pizza in Modesto for any type of event -- especially not for a child's birthday. So, they don't have the best food options. The thin crust pizza is good, salad bar and baked potato, everything rlse is pretty gross. The place isn't cleaned well and the ice cream machine only has vanilla. Went to use the bathroom and not one soap dispenser had soap. It felt like 1/2 of the game machines didn't work.
