Common name for a Chinese restaurant in the bay area. It was a good sign when most of the clientele were asian. The cumin lamb was pretty darn good, I would get this every time. The whole fish was as it should be, great. The dish with shrimp paste filling on deep fried tofu and bell pepper and eggplant was also real good. We also had mustard greens with garlic and the beef stew with tofu clay pot, they used brisket instead of beef stew meat. Everything seemed ti look great at this restaurant and you can get dim sum also. The only complaint is the same one I have , the dishes are too dinky,

good dim sum but you can def get better at around the same prices elsewhere in the bay. nothing was bad but also nothing felt outstanding. normal dim sum service with cart going around during lunch hours.

A true authentic dim sum with rolling carts and no menus in sight LOL ! I'm so happy to see that i can still find this vibe and culture here. No music in the background, Just people talking and that makes me embrace the human interaction even more. dim sum is decent. I meant you cant really mess it up. price is good with the portion too. Prices are catergorizsed based on sizes (Small, medium, large, kitchen,..). medium is 7$ and large is 8$. Everything is heavily filled with shrimp and meats and super hearty. tables filled up fast around 12 so keep that in mind. Definitely will come back with bigger party to try out more dishes.

Surprised I haven't tried this spot earlier - my family's new go to for dim sum in South Bay! Service was super quick (got seated with all our food in literally under 5 min.) and friendly, the food is hearty and pretty authentic, and they have the carts (dwindling these days for dim sum places). Recs & what we tried: - Preserved egg & pork congee: this was a bit different than your traditional 皮蛋熟肉州, but in the best way - super flavorful and unique. Would come back for this! - Lo mai gai (sticky rice / chicken): I'm usually not a huge fan of this, but it was really good and had good proportions of ingredients - not too much or little of any one thing. - Har gow: these were huge - the shrimp portions were so generous! - Shu mai: also great portion sizes. - Shrimp rice roll: super yummy, classic. - Steamed pork BBQ buns: my usual favorite, but these were just okay.

We were in Palo Alto and wanted dim sum so we gave Fu Lam Mum a try on a Saturday morning. Not too busy after they just opened. The food was great. Lots of good items but the standout was the cucumbers - a nice garlic flavor from these chilled cuts of cucumbers. The cart service was a nice treat.

Barely made it before they closed for lunch really great lunch specials and inviting prices. The food is fresh. They are generous with their servings and everything is seasoned to perfection. Very clean and not too salty as I've noticed with other dim sum places absolutely would recommend and can't wait to go back.

Super solid dim sum / yum cha spot! There is a medium-sized parking lot behind the restaurant. When we came around noon on a Sunday, all the spots were full but a spot quickly opened up. Lots of cars going in and out so just be patient. There is a walkway to get to the front of the restaurant, turn right, then you will see the outdoor seating to your left, indoor seating to your right. The restaurant was super busy but we were greeted and seated promptly. Everything was extremely efficient - from asking what tea we wanted, to all the carts coming by. Good: - Har Gow: Plump, shrimp was big and fresh, wrapper not too thick. - Siu Mai: These are HUGE lol - nice and meaty. - Spare Ribs: Tender, flavorful, decent portion size. - Chasiu Bao (barbecue pork bun): Bun is sweet and fluffy. Ok: - Chow Fun: This is a small plate of chow fun (like beef chow fun but no meat). I like how they offer this on a cart and it's not too much food compared to a whole noodle dish. Mediocre: - Shrimp rice roll (cheung fun): Kinda lacking in flavor and the rice roll is not as thin as I would have liked. Love their efficiency, solid food, helpful staff, decent parking, clean bathrooms!

Service is awesome and food is great. My fave is the salt and pepper chicken wings. No other places make it as good as here. Their stir-fried dishes are very good. Their HK style ice-lemon tea and milk tea are also very good. Their waiters/waitresses can speak English pretty well. The restaurant is bright and clean inside and decor is nice. I always bring my dog for outdoor seating. Dim sum isn't available for lunch only, you can also order dim sum for dinner too. Highly Recommend.

Good place to stop for dim sum on Sunday after Mountain View farmers market stroll. Good selection of dishes, nice outdoor seating for people watching. Friendly staff and good services.

Steamed pork spareribs

No wait for party of 2 on a Saturday around 1pm, though it was quite busy. I was happy to see they have the rolling carts since that's harder to come by nowadays. We got the shrimp steamed rice rolls, steamed pork spareribs, turnip cakes, bbq pork puff pastry, and har gow. I liked the steamed pork spareribs which were tender and turnip cakes the most. Har gow skin was a bit too thick and tough for my liking. Bbq pork puff pastry had an off ratio of too much dough and too little meat, but still enjoyed since this is one of my favorite dishes. Shrimp steamed rice rolls were a bit bland even with the sauce, but I liked that they had big pieces of shrimp that were cooked well and not soggy. Service is pretty efficient and straightforward. A plus that they have indoor and outdoor dining, but I don't think the carts go outside. Overall fulfills the dim sum craving and not a bad option in the downtown area!

Ambiance - 5/5 fantastic upscale modern setting. And it took my colleagues and I by surprise when we entered the restaurant as you really can't tell from the outside. (Exterior looks old and was deceiving ). Glad we decided to give this place a try instead of going to our usual dimsum place which will be 15mins drive out. Food - 4/5 dimsum is great. We ordered multiple dishes. The ones that stood out to us and love by the team included BBQ pork bun, cilantro roll, seafood egg noodle, crispy sesame ball and egg tarts. I also like how they kept the oyster sauce separated from the steamed Chinese broccoli dish which makes it easy for folks to adjust the sauce to their liking. Most places dribbles the sauce over the steamed vegetable which spread unevenly and you get some stems that are either overly concentrated in the oyster sauce while other stems lack the sauce. I didn't try the pork dumplings but my colleagues felt the skin a little too thick and pork taste a bit bland. Xiu Mai was just average. See pics for more. Service - 5/5 great friendly servers and expedient food serving.

A solid dim sum spot located on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View. While it's slightly pricey, that's expected for the area. The food quality was pretty good overall, with a variety of classic dim sum dishes to choose from. However, we noticed that the fried options were a bit cold, borderline stale, which made us wonder if they might have been leftovers from the previous day. Despite that, Fu Lam Mum is a reliable choice if you're looking for dim sum in the area. It's convenient and consistent, making it a good option for a casual meal.

We were sat quickly without a reservation during the week and every person working was attentive and helpful. Our waters were refilled frequently, tea was checked to ensure we had plenty and was still warm, hostess brought us our drinks so we were happy there. The ambiance was busy and active. A bit loud but tables were quite full. We ordered the potstickers as a starter. They were nice big and juicy. I ordered the lemon chicken and white rice for lunch. The lemon chicken was dry and the sauce didn't taste like traditional lemon sauces I've had. The rice was a bit hard but edible. My partner had a chicken salad and she seemed to enjoy it. While I was disappointed in my selection hoping it was a one off. They also do not have fried rice which is my favorite. Overall good restaurant just need to fine tune their rice and lemon chicken.

Service was really good (better than average Cantonese restaurant lol). The place was not busy probably due to a weekday. We ordered the usuals for Cantonese, and were generally happy about the food quality. Based on the speed the food was served, it was probably not made fresh, but we were satisfied with the texture, flavor, and temperature, at this price point. I think for a casual dim sum bite this place is ok, don't expect anything stunning.

Parking: there's some street parking, but it can be rough. There is a parking lot nearby. During peak times or weekends, it can be hard to find parking. Pricing: Pricing is average/very reasonable for the area, but may seem slightly higher if you're used to dim sum in other areas (but hey, rent must be expensive). Food: Food is typical dim sum food. It's good and traditional rather than the super fresh or high-end dim sum places-more of a "get your dim sum fix place. It's not the healthiest and some dishes can be a bit bland; you might get tired of some of the more filling dishes. Atmosphere: The restaurant is nice and clean, but nothing fancy. It is a no frill place, but well-kept and not cluttered like some other places.

Anyway, we were shopping in the area and decided to stop by for a dim sum lunch. th erestaurant was not very busy so we got seated right away. We placed our order via the order sheet. No carts since it was a weekeday. We had our usual Char Siew bun (steamed), Soy sauce Chow Mein, Chinese donut rolled in soft noodles, pan fried chive dumplings, Lo Mai Kai (steamed rice in lotus leaves), stuffed peppers, and sesame balls. Food was generally good. I love the hot sauce they have at the table. We literally devoured it! I had forgotten how delicious the stuffed peppers were - they still taste great! Steamed Char Siew bun was a little disappointing - too much bun (bao) and not enough filling. The char siew was also rather tough and tasted rather bland. The chinese donut in steam noodles was good and the chow Mein was tasty. Sesame balls (my favorite dim sum dessert) was not too bad. could hav ebeen netter if it was warmer. Service was OK. I feel that the servers are sometimes rather grumpy - could be the reason why we stopped coming here. Prices are also a little steep compared to what you got - smaller portions.

Pan fried noodles were nice and crisp. Everything was delicious. Service was prompt. We wound up taking the pan fried noodles home as leftovers, good portion sizes. A tad expensive, but good quality and taste. They brought us a nai wong bao (custard bun) as dessert after the meal, really nice touch.
