Came with a group for lunch. We had a nice private room. The staff were very friendly and you can see this is very much a family run small business which I love to support. We had their signature lobster yee mien noodles. Amazing presentation, and lobster was very fresh. Overall could have used a bit more seasoning but I guess i probably shouldn't be eating too much salt anyways. The lobster came with a lobster congee which was absolutely delicious. We had a bunch of other dishes such as honey walnut prawns, baby bok choy served in a soup base, tofu and mushrooms, and a steamed cod fish which was perfectly cooked. The owners came by to greet us and threw in complimentary house soup as well as steamed red bean paste dessert buns. I would definitely some back to try some of their other seafood dishes. Location was convenient and parking was easy.

Came here on a weekend with family and discovered they no longer serve dim sum. I wanted to support this local business as there was only one other occupied table. We were early so I thought more people would trickle in as noon approached but it remained pretty dead for most of the lunch hour with maybe one other group of diners that arrived after us. This restaurant is known for their lobster noodles and king crab. Didn't feel like splurging too much for lunch so we opted for the lobster noodles. It wasn't bad but didn't blow my socks off either. The noodles, I felt were on the soggy side and overcooked. I like my noodles al dente. The Peking duck left my mom disappointed. She's a pretty good cook so having higher standards, she may be harsher with criticism than most, but this time I agree with her. The Hong Kong version of roast duck may not be as fancy as Peking duck from Beijing but I expect it to be at least minimally roasted. Mom took one bite and said it tasted like boiled or steamed duck that was thrown in a fryer to make the skin crispy after being boiled. The meat was not the consistency of roast duck and the skin was too dry and wrinkled. Now for someone who isn't a good cook, I doubt they would tell the difference. One saving grace is the waitress was very friendly and courteous. This appears to be a family run restaurant. I wouldn't mind giving them another chance but this location was slightly out of the way for me. I can at least say, I came, tried the food, and gave an honest review.

I must preface with the fact that I never saw the menu because I last minute decided to join my parents for dinner and they had already ordered so I showed up after they've already ate a little bit* Atmosphere- outdated, and super spacious inside, we were the only people eating for about twenty minutes then a party of two came Cleanliness- questionable, their table cloth covers look either stained from being old or stained from not getting changed after each customer Food- overall, not bad! (prior to us getting the bill) we were planning on coming back for dim sum over the weekend Please note I never got the menu so I have no clue what the names of these dishes are so I'm going off by what I know *salt and pepper shrimp- pretty good, they were a bit dry though I don't feel like they were fresh because of how dry the texture overall was but the flavor was great! Well seasoned! My main complaint was there were only 9 shrimp that came out *fried rice- pretty average, I liked it I would get it again, portion was okay *fish maul soup(?)- good, lacked some flavor but it was good overall *stir fry on choy- good, the garlic flavor showed through and I liked it, but the portion was small Now to the part that was shocking, the bill. I didn't feel the price reflected the portion or food quality. At first I was like why is it so slow in here and why do they only have 3.5 stars. Our total for 3 people, was a little over 100$ (post tax and 15% automatic tip) which was insane! At most I was expecting 65-75$ post tax. And there was just no way that fried rice should be 18$! Basically everything we had was 18-19$ beside the shrimp which was 25$ for 9 pieces!!!! I was shook. Service- mediocre, one person sat at a table and watched a drama on their phone and only came to check on us when we would wave them down. But I didn't care for good service I was just starving and wanted to eat. Overall, my dad said we can't come back and I agree the portions don't match their prices and the food flavor was not enough for us to come back.

It's one of my favorite restaurants. Very Guang Zhou style! First of all, the waiter will provide free soup as the first dish. Our family love three different sauces to cook Alaska lobster. Different cooking ways bring us different good taste. The Guang Zhou style pigeon is very delicious. The price in this restaurant is very reasonable and the sea food is very fresh.

Food here is good. Classic cantonese style cuisine. However, a lot of their menu items are unavailable. We tried ordering two dishes but were told that both were unavailable. Our waiter gave us some recommendations and they were honestly pretty good. Nothing special here though. The food is also on the expensive side.

Ok whoever created this yelp page needs to also please help these people update the hours. The Yelp says they are open everyday until MIDNIGHT. I cannot count the number of times I have tried coming here and they are closed. Even when their door is open and the lights are on they say they are closed. The restaurant is constantly dead and it doesn't look like anyone ever eats here except the employees on break. Does this restaurant want to make any money??? It looks like they actually close at 9 every day. They have dim sum for lunch and have a break in between lunch and dinner. This spot has been around forever and it used to be very popular. It seems like it is barely surviving despite being in now a heavily populated plaza. They should take advantage of how busy the plaza is now by actually being open. I came for dinner and it was once again dead but at least they let me eat. Each dish is close to $20. I was shocked after getting the bill. Taste was decent and portion was also decent but I'm not sure if it justifies the price point. Overall just very average. And despite getting an outside makeover the interior of the restaurant hasn't changed and is terribly old and outdated. It's not an enjoyable experience to eat here.

A must try if you want authentic Cantonese / Chinese food. They offer a large variety of classic Cantonese gourmets, some of which I can rarely find at other places. All the food we ordered were tasty and fairly priced. It literally brings me back to the street in Hong Kong / Canton in one bite!

I've only been here for dinner with the in-laws and as OG's they pretty much have the menu down on what to order - so I give them full reign As many old banquet Chinese restaurants go, décor here is just as gaudy and outdated - giant round tables, lazy Susan, fish tanks with fresh seafood, old fabric chairs, and prob. one of the the weirdest things thus far...floral traditional wall art with Giant seafood (aka lobster and crab) glued on top of them...idk why... Despite that, service has been pretty good every time we've come here - but then again I've never seen the restaurant fully packed as well. Food talk: (1) Minced beef and cilantro egg white soup - this soup hits a soft spot for me, very light in flavor and not overly salty which I like and find rare in asian restaurants. And I also loveee cilantro which was def. a dominant flavor here. The soup is very light and refreshing overall, but I've had other ppl in my party said the flavor was too light and lacking... (2) Veggies in a cheese sauce - this was good, I don't think it's "cheese" to what we Americans think - it's some type of Chinese cheese sauce that is slightly salty and creamy which the veggies are sautéed it. I enjoyed it and would order again, although it is a very specific taste that I see some might not like. (3) Giant clam shells with vermicelli noodles - this was OK, the giant clams were a little overcooked than what I preferred but still enjoyable. Even with the vermicelli noodles, I felt like there was something missing and lacking though (4) Baked beef ribs - my faveeeeeee here!! This is something pretty freakn amazing and I've only been able to find it here for some reason!?!? Super tender, juicy, giant chunks of baked beef ribs are sliced off the bone + light vinegar soy dipping sauce = such a beauty inside & out

Very good and enjoyable food, the Boss is a very nice guy, we didn't want us to order too much and waste food. The restaurant isn't very busy, but seafood is very fresh. I will remember this Lobster Sashimi for a long long time

Wanted to come here cause we were craving dim sum and a friend of mine told me this place was good, but that was a long time ago. We finally went inside during lunch time and I noticed we were the only ones there. First thing right off the bat, my boyfriend didn't like the smell of this place, but I told him to just give it a try. The waiter first serves us the baked goods: baked bbq pork bun, baked egg custard bun, baked yam bun, bbq pork puff, almond taro puff, and baked egg custard. We got the baked BBQ pork bun. (If you look at the menu you can see it has the usual shiny finish on top which usually makes it sweet, but the texture of this was a matte finish and crunchy on the outside. Which we both thought it was actually better than the original flavor) He then gives us the menu and we ended up ordering: BBQ pork rice noodle roll, seafood dumpling, shrimp dumpling "har gau", BBQ pork bun, fried taro dumpling with minced meat, Stuffed mushroom with minced shrimp, and the sticky rice in lotus leaf. There was nothing special about the seafood dumpling or har gau. I was disappointed in the fried taro dumpling with minced meat because it actually didn't even taste good. Also when I took a bite of it to check what's inside... it actually grossed me out and explained why it didn't taste good, but it was super crunchy I'll give it that. The stuffed mushroom with minced shrimp was lacking flavor. The reason why I got it was because of the picture in the menu looked good, but it didn't look anything like the picture. The biggest disappointment for me though is the sticky rice in lotus leaf.. this is always my favorite thing to get at any dim sum place, but this also had that gross taste and feeling that I got when I took a bite of the fried taro dumpling =( I was so sad. The only best items that we got is all the BBQ items apparently. Baked BBQ pork bun, BBQ pork rice noodle roll, and my boyfriend really liked his usual favorite that he always gets in every dim sum place, the steamed bbq pork bun. Also, the service was ok.

There were many flies in the soy source but the owner said Ok they are food flies.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the south bay area. Everytime i came here with friends or family we spent alot on the sea foods and we were satisfied with the quality of food. Today, the first time i took my son there to eat Dimsum. We ordered alot of foods and started earing. My son took a soy source bottle and put on his dish. He noticed that the flies were in his dish then we did chexk our diahes ee found the same. We called the restaurant manager up and told him, he swapped another bottle and we dis check it again. There were more flies in the soy source again. Then the manager caled a lady i met her many time before and i believed she is the owner of the restaurant. She came to us and said oh, there are small food flies, no problem you can continue to eat. At this point could not continue since the iwner of the restaurant did you not how bad the flies are, they could fly in from the toilet or trash bin outside but she said no problem. It broke my heart that my favorite restaurant turned out to be an unhealth and dirty but people really don't care about it. I will not go back or recommend my family and friends to go there to eat. The restaurant owner charged us full amount even we did not eat the food but it is OK to us.

We went on a Friday afternoon and the place was almost full at 12pm, they seem to be short staffed so it took a few minutes to place our order but the food came out really quickly. We ordered a variety of Dim Sum as well as chicken fried rice. The Dim Sum was hot and tasty, you could tell how fresh it was because the individual items were sticking to the wrapper they came in. The buns were flavorful and the skin was not too thick, in fact it was a good as the filing. The presentation is beautiful as well. The rice is a bit expensive at $18:95 but they serve a very large plate of it. They serve tea as well which is $1/person, it's hot and steaming and pairs just right with the food. Between 8 adults and 2 kids, we had about 9-10 dishes with lots of leftovers (noodles) to take home. Since my mom picked one of the preset menu options, our bill was over $500 for mediocre Chinese food!!! Let's just say, I have no intention of ever coming back.
