Wow. Where do I begin?…read more My mom and I ordered from Fry's Marketplace at 10am on October 19th, 2025. The assistant store manager, Maria, messaged us that our order was going to be ready between 4pm-5pm. When it was around 4:22pm, I started to head to the store to pickup the order, after my mom received a message about the order # 1252926649812520701, being ready at 4pm. Then I received a call from Maria, and she said the order would not be ready until 6pm. I turned around after wasting my gas and headed back home after working 11-12 hours that day. Then we called to speak to the Store Manager, Rick, and they put us on hold for 10-15 mins. After the hold, we spoke to Maria, again. Maria kept giving excuses as to why our order # 1252926649812520701, was not ready. We then waited for 90 more mins, and still did not receive an email or text message from Fry's Marketplace about our order. Maria told us that the order would be discounted, but Maria never told us the price. After waiting, my mom had to contact Fry's Marketplace on Gilbert & Baseline, AGAIN, just to see what the status was of the order # 1252926649812520701. My mom is handicapped so she was very worried about this business being very unprofessional and disrespectful towards us and our order. I want to bring it to more people's attention that this is not how to treat handicapped people and that's not how you do business. We showed up this morning, 10/20 after being told our order would be ready and the order was put back on the shelves, after we had already paid for it through the online app. We will never ever be back at this place of business again. And it's a shame because they have great workers there but the assistant store manager, Maria and the store manager, Rick need to stop making excuses and show professionalism.

How Long to Let French Croissants Cool Before Eating Freshly…read morebaked French croissants are best eaten after cooling for about 10-15 minutes, until they are warm but no longer steaming, to preserve flakiness and prevent sogginess. Why cooling matters Right out of the oven, croissants are hot and still releasing steam. If eaten immediately, the moisture inside can make the layers soft and less crisp. Allowing a short cooling period lets the steam escape and the structure set, so the pastry stays flaky and golden Persephone Bakery Persephone Bakery .

The rumor was true...and they had most of their staple teas and juice cocktail drinks to choose from! Being the first time in a WinCo store, I was impressed by the size of the place and the name-brand selections they carry for some items. The aisles were wide and easy to navigate. What was supposed to be a quick grab and go of beverages turned into 45 minutes of shopping for many items. They have fresh-cut meats and fresh-caught seafood in the back of the store. Their frozen food section was also quite large compared to standard grocery stores. They carry fresh produce as well! On the way out, there was a large sign saying this is an employee-owned company. That's pretty neat I'm not handing my money to a large faceless corporation, but to a consortium of employees. WinCo may become a once a month or once a quarter stop to restock some of our family favorites!

Between the great food, reasonable prices, outstanding employees, and comfortable patio, this was a very enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be back.

It's got that two entrance thing going on as most do, but I couldn't tell you which is in and which is out. I just go in the one I parked near because I'm an absolute rebel. Layout at this Fry's seems a bit- different, seems smaller and has more of an intimate Trader Joes feel which isn't always the best because this place has a ton more people, but at least the parking lot is bigger!
