This place rules. Visited at 2PM on a Sunday and it was a light crowd. Seated immediately, waters brought quickly, and given two menus. One was larger family style dishes and one had the individual sized portions. Ordering was easy, you can use a digital menu or just tell the server what you want. Everyone was very friendly. We got a hot and sour soup and an egg drop soup to start, and both were hot and delicious. For the main meal we got Mongolian Beef, Pork Mapo Tofu, Cold Sichuan Noodles, and Green Onion pancakes. None of this came with rice so we added that on really quick after the food showed up, no problem. The portions were all ENORMOUS, it was WAY too much food for two, but it meant leftovers. Everything tasted great-- we both loved the Mapo tofu, it definitely had a good amount of the numbing peppercorns going on. The beef was very tender and had a good sweet and fragrant flavor, and the onions were cooked perfectly. The pancakes were crispy and the sauce that came with it paired well, it was a vinegar based sauce but more complex than just vinegar. Rice cooked perfectly. We will absolutely be coming here when we are up in the area, this place is a hit! read more

Been wanting to try this place out and decided to have lunch here today. Really happy we did. The staff is really friendly and the place is beautifully done. The menu has a little bit of everything & I love how they also have a separate menu for lunch and as well as for family style. We ended up ordering a cup of their hot and sour soup, wonton soup to share, house fried rice, beef chow mein, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken, and fried dumplings. Everything was so good! I normally don't write reviews unless it's amazing. And I have to say this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. The restaurant ambiance is super chill and nice. The service is spot on with thier suggestions and very friendly. And the food, is super good and great family size portions. We had a ton of leftover. We got the roast duck, a house special not on the menu beef and tripe with chili peppers, fried rice with pickled veggies and ground pork and the egg plant. All is good and must try. Found this spot after reading thru a newspaper post highlighting newer openings, etc. I'm always on the look out for great food, close by. Ambiance is good. Relatively spacious in a storefront area. There are larger tables for bigger parties. Our party of 4 managed, it did get somewhat crowded after the food came. Chairs may not be for majority, no lower or mid back. I only bring it up because everyone independently talked about the chair and how they felt about it. Service was great. They were responsive and checked in often. Food Egg flower/drop soup was good - peppery and flavorful Chow Mein - needs work, slime type consistency Orange Chicken - good flavor and balance between meat and breading Kung Pao Beef - star of the show, very good Green Beans - nice snap and flavor For a family of 4, this meal will cost you ~$120 with tip. The decor is beautiful and the service was attentive and quick without being intrusive. We went to Frying Lemon Fish in Everett on a Sunday in November on the recommendation of staff at Frying Fish in Kirkland, one of our favorite restaurants. Frying Lemon Fish is managed by the Kirkland management and the food is very similar and very good. The environment in Everett is very different and more ordinary in American style. There are no live fish tanks and the majority of the customers were non Asian and many were picking up takeout. The service was very good and we had a nice meal but we like the Kirkland place more. Everett is lucky to have an excellent restaurant but we will continue to go to Flying Fish in Kirkland in the future. read more

My friends took me here for my birthday lunch, and I enjoyed the food and the service. I lived in China for twenty years, and it was nice to eat authentic dishes in a setting that reminded me of my old stomping grounds. Our server was very polite and spoke to me in Mandarin once she knew why I was there. We had a great time, and I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Everett. We took my mom out here for mother's day (she was craving Chinese food). This place exceeded our expectations and it has been the best chinese restaurant we have found. The house fried rice and orange chicken was a big winner for our kids. We had beef and broccoli, orange chicken, duck, ribs, garlic greens, cantaloupe refreshment. Nice to go with family as a bit more pricey and we couldn't afford to go every week but everything was delicious. The service was great and friendly. The ambiance was comfortable and pleasant. I found this place by reading the reviews on yelp. I was super impressed at first however, I learned that if you did not call and edit the spice, your food would be extremely way too spicy to eat. No problem, I would call them every single time I wanted an order. However, this time the lady was really rude and was upset that I could not edit my preferences on the DoorDash order... That's not my problem. I confirmed with her She would still have my food be a one spice. Mind you I would call as soon as the order went through to give them my preferences... Husband and I ate here on a Sunday and because it was late afternoon there was no real waiting time. I had beef broccoli and ordered white rice and husband had fried rice dish with chicken, beef and shrimp. Both dishes were great! My good friend treated me to a birthday lunch here and we had the most amazing meal ever. We ordered salt and pepper prawns (without the shell) which were just phenomenal. They were topped with a pickled veggie mix that was delicious and fresh. The moo shu pork was outstanding. The egg flower soup was delicious. The orange chicken was superb, exactly the right ratio of breading to chicken and fried to perfection. The orange sauce was bright and also very fresh tasting w actual pieces of orange. Nothing was greasy or oily. The beef chow mein is made with house made noodles that are thick and have a good chew. We were so full I don't think we fully appreciated this dish but it was also high quality and the beef very flavorful and tender. The hot jasmine tea was just heavenly...smooth with a rich floral aroma and taste, so lovely. Speaking of so lovely, the owner Lucy is an incredible human being and conversations with her (and our server Teddy) throughout our meal made the whole experience worthy of 100 stars. They care so sincerely about the quality of your dining experience, it made us also feel so happy to support such good people doing such good things. I will be back again very soon and I can't recommend this place highly enough! The restaurant itself is very clean and visually pleasing.
