Inside the building, I was greeted by a plump, circular, brown figure with a smile on his face. He had a delightful yellow satchel on, a matching beret, and a yummy-yummy-in-my-tummy-looking milk tea in his left hand. The warm atmosphere made me feel like I was being hugged by the figure himself. When I laid my eyes on him, I didn't just want him, I wanted to BE him. A voluptuous tapioca pearl with a constant smile. I was determined to do whatever it took to become him. The first step was to acquire the same drink he had in his left hand, which I assumed to be a Jasmine Green Milk Tea with 70% sugar, less ice, and boba. One particularly sweet lady delivered me my drink by hand. One, two, three sips later--the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with 70% sugar, less ice, and boba didn't just hit my tastebuds, it hit my soul. I could tell that the tea, the architecture, even the workers were birthed by certified Taiwanese Professionals. EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING, was exceptionally creamy as one might say. I felt one step closer to being Mr. Tai Wan himself. (my self-proclaimed name for the voluptuous tapioca pearl). Later that day, I picked up a yellow bag and hat from the nearby Burlington. I looked in the mirror, with my Jasmine Green Milk Tea with 70% sugar, less ice, and boba in my left hand. I grinned at the thought that one day I will become a voluptuous tapioca pearl. I owe my life to Mr. Tai Wan and TPTEA. Thank you.......for everything...or should I say....xie xie. I WILL be coming back, for the tea AND Mr. Tai Wan.

Like, thanks for stopping by or you're welcome (: or pointing out where straws are? I ordered a Coconut Mango Boom and it saddens me to say they raised the price for this. I had already thought it was a little expensive for fruit and sago, but now it's quite expensive as it nears $8 ($7.49 + .99). In addition, the quality?? Where are you?? Twice. The drink hasn't been well blended because I'm getting ice chunks. It's not very nice when it's supposed to be a slush! The mango however was delicious and the jello too. I think, even though I added brown sugar boba, the quantity is less than what I've received before. Which is sad to me. On another day, I decided to order their $7.99, Iced Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea. The milk tea was non existent flavor wise. There was nothing supreme-- barely any brown sugar boba inside and around the cup. It was practically milk and ice. Overall, price has risen and from what I've experienced the quality has lowered. I know they are really really busy, but if they can't handle that then maybe turn off the online ordering for certain periods and only open for specific times? Not sure... I'm not a fan of the other boba spot so I guess I'll try something else on Heytea menu, hopefully it's better.

My husband and I usually get a jasmine milk tea and oolong milk tea. For both drinks, we get full sweetness, light ice, and add boba. This time we tried a seasonal drink, the banana milk matcha, which was well balanced. The banana flavor didn't overpower the matcha, and I can really taste the quality of the matcha. Another seasonal favorite that I often get is the strawberry hojicha fresca. The service is quick and efficient. They always have our drinks ready soon after we place the order. You can also order online, and then pick up in store. The inside is always clean and well lit. It's a great place to catch up with friends, work/study, or just do a quick grab and go! I'd recommend checking out Camellia the next time that you have a boba craving.

There's actually one closer to where I live, but they don't have either of the flavors I tried here, so I was especially excited to order the jasmine snow pear latte and Matcha Coconut, with different toppings. Pear tea is on sweeter side so if you don't like sweet stuff so 50% was perfectly sweet for me. Matcha coconut 50% was not sweet at all so if you like drinks on sweeter side, maybe full sugar might be better. And I loved both drinks! This was my first time at the UTC location. It's inside the big UTC mall, which reminded me a little of South Coast Plaza. Just a heads-up: there was quite a bit of traffic getting in and out of the parking area. The cafe itself is more of a quick in-and-out type of spot, with no seating inside. But the staff were really nice, and the drinks more than made up for it. Both were so good that I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in the area. I'm honestly just wishing the Ben Gong Tea near me carried these two flavors too!

The dragon, phoenix, and alligator designs are beautiful and give the place a very enchanting vibe. The guy who took my order was also super friendly. Cons: The service on the second half was abhorrent. I ordered their golden sesame slush and waited about 20 minutes. When I finally went up to ask about it, the young girl working there looked at me like I had personally ruined her day. I showed her my ticket and indicated that I was waiting for my drink. Without confirming anything, she slid a pink drink that was already on the counter toward me. I was confused, but took it outside anyway. Checked the label. Wrong drink. So I went back inside, only to see that my actual drink was just then being made. I saw that people who ordered after me had already gotten theirs. My flabbers were officially gasted. The drink itself was pretty good, although it melted rather rapidly in the August heat. The customer service at the end was.. like stale bread. Hopefully, it was just one off experience, because the place itself is really cute. I may try another location someday.. if I can find the courage.

It's such a unique flavor combination, but somehow works really well together. My husband loved the Mango Mochi just as much as I did on my first visit--the fresh mango flavor and chewy mochi make it such a fun drink. I really appreciate how creative the drinks are at 3CAT. Many small tables and mostly booth seating. The booth seating has some comfy pads and you can grab some stackable chairs to sit. The seating area could be more clean.
