If you've never had bubble tea - it's worth trying. Trust me - it's not just 'tea' with some bubbles in it. I first started getting my bubble tea with the bubbles in it - the black-colored balls are a bit like the round doo-dads in tapioca pudding. Very interesting stuff along with your drink. TONS of different flavors and varieties available. Fruitealicious introduced me to pop boba - and OMG it's awesome! My usual poison is a Taro slush with strawberry pop boba. Just awesome sauce all the way around. Fresh and made to order quickly for you. They will let you try a sample of their different add-ons so you have an idea of what you're getting. I really thought I'd written a review for Fruitealicious. I am here much more frequently than I'd like to admit! Fruitealicious is my favorite, regular indulgence! I love the milk tea with boba. It is super basic, but it makes me happy. BUT, the relatively new flan makes an excellent add in as well. Addictive actually! Sugar Bear has run through the gambit of their frozen drink selection. He has two favorites: the frozen lemonade and a concoction that is not on the menu but is referred to as 'crack in a cup.' It is a combination of the frozen hot chocolate and coffee...again, addictive! He also likes their Butterfinger rice crispy treats. They are huge and super sweet. The workers here are obviously giddy about the product and delighted to work here. Fruitealicious is an almost cartoon-like happy zone between the smiling staff and fiercely loyal customers. Maybe they really are hawking crack secretly in their drinks? I don't care...it is awesome, and I'm glad its just around the corner from my house. read more

This place is amazing. I ordered a fruit chiller with the mango pop. Seriously, this thing has little balls of sweet juice that you can pop between your teeth to make an explosion of flavor! I haven't gotten the courage up to try some of the more traditional bobas here but I think I will on a return visit. We can't love Fruitealicious more. Amazing drinks, great variety, excellent staff, cool atmosphere, fun events, it just rocks. The drinks are key, of course, and they're all good. Seriously. All of them. In any combination. We've had dozens, and they've all been good. My wife will often just tell them 'surprise me' and they come up with something creative. Between flavors, fruit, jellies, boba, and drinks, there a must be thousands of different potential combinations. I like it!!! Got a taro Oreo smoothie and that's something I've never tried before but thought it was great. Also got the fruit tea, it's good but I was a little disappointed because it didn't have nearly as much fruits as other customer photos. I love this place and I cannot say this about any other fruit smoothie or boba places since Theres always something to complain about elsewhere!! The staff is always warm and friendly and they always greet the customer and acknowledge your presence. I love the atmosphere of the place its soo warm and fun!! I am an absolute FANATIC of bubble tea and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVEEE this place!!!!! It is my favorite bubble tea place to go to, even if I have to drive about 20 minutes away from my house. I go there so often the staff recognize me and know me by NAME, that's how bad it is. The staff is super friendly and helpful, in fact, the owner introduced me to the drink I always order when I go there! Oolong milk tea with bubbles, DELICIOUSSSSSSSSSS!!! I always get it, the staff knows it, my boyfriend knows it, and I am happy. The bubble tea there is like nothing I've ever had before. Extremely fresh tasting, I find myself wondering how I got along without it. The bubbles are also extremely tasty and have the perfect texture, without being too hard or too soft. The first time I heard about Fruitealicious was in December when I saw 2 of my friends come to musical rehearsal with clear cups and gigantic straws, and I asked them "Whoa! what is that!?" "Bubble Tea, we got it from this new place down Josey" My friend let me try some of her Strawberry Banana Fruit Chiller, and I just felt as if I died and went to heaven. Anyway, the first thing a lot of people notice when stepping foot into the store is the brightly colored walls, and how well lit the place is. The fruit chillers are made with real fruit, that every sip you take, you get chunky bits of fruit; I love how each drink has great quality. Fruitealicious is also a GREAT spot to just relax and hang out with friends, there's so much to do: you can bring your laptop and use their free wi-fi, sit and just watch some anime on their plasma screen tv, to even come in with a group of friends and play some board games! Extremely bad service! If I could give no stars I would! I went in Sunday night before 8pm and the rude girl counting money yelled at me saying they were closed before I could even get inside. I then said the sign on the door said that the store closed at 8pm but the girl said that they didn't take orders at that time and rolled her eyes. The people who work here are awesome and make you want to come back again and again. They are always so happy, and take the time to talk to you and tell you about all the drinks, even when they are super busy and have a line. The popping boba balls are sooo cool and delicious. What sets this place apart from the others is that Popping Boba stuff they have. I've been a patron of Fruitealicious for years, way back when this was the only storefront. They've since expanded to other parts of DFW, bringing delicious teas, smoothies, slushes, and coffee to other folks in the metroplex. The owners are a husband and wife duo who are super humble, and people loving. The drinks have real fruit in them and you're welcome to mix and match flavors to your liking. Some of my favorites include raspberry tea, strawberry peach frozen tea, taro with oreo smoothie with tapioca pearls, strawberry coconut slush, and many more. I've never had a drink here that I didn't like. There's not much to the ambiance, but it's an ideal place to get a refreshing hot or cold drink. Being from Boston, where there are so many bubble tea shops, I have come to be really picky about how I like my bubble tea... I hate when the tea is too sugary, icy, creamy...the list can go on. I've only had the chance to come here a few times, but every time I'm in the area visiting my friend, I always have to drop by. My friend was the one who introduced me to this place and she mentioned she always comes here to get her bubble tea fix. This place is so different and so much better than the other typical boba shops I've been to! It's refreshing to see the wide variety of flavors, to hang out in the fun atmosphere and to have great customer service, all of which are so difficult to find at other bubble tea places. Not to mention the awesome bubble tea! I love the fruit teas with the jellies the most, but their boba is super tasty (not bland and starchy like some places) and it makes it hard to decide what I want sometimes (although the workers there are always super helpful and patient!) Update: the owner has kindly offered me a complimentary drink for customer satisfaction, so two more stars for that. I guess I was so into reviewing the honey tea itself and forgot to mention that the first two stars were for the aloe jelly. They do have the best aloe I've had so far, better than Ten Ren's I'd say. But still, I just think it's a little weird for not having "honey" as one of the flavor because I know most of my friends love honey green tea. I can't guarantee that I'll be back for another drink since I'm leaving TX soon, but if you're not satisfied with your drink, you can let them know and I'm sure they'll be happy to remake it for you. The owner told me they use Ten Ren's tea leaf to make their drinks, so that guarantees the quality of their tea-based drinks. Oh, and they also offer oolong milk tea, which I had tried once in NY and they were amazingly good with the milk powder blend. I came here wanting to satisfy my Taiwanese drink craving. I was impressed! The staff here were very nice and friendly, and the drinks were pretty good. The "Spotted Cow" isn't quite like 1/2 & 1/2 but is still delicious in its own right. I will ask for it to be less sweet next time, and wait for the milky slush to melt a bit. I also tried one of their juice slushes (I think mango passionfruit? can't remember now!) which was also really delicious. I bought a Groupon for Fruitealicious and figured that would create a good opportunity to introduce one of my co-workers to the world of Bubble Tea. I am excited to find another place I can indulge in my boba-addictions. After trying more than my fair share of BAD bubble tea locales, including the place in Houston who's Taro Milk tea was the color of the brown bathwater in my childhood home in Houston after the ship channel would turn over. After that incident I got where I didn't even want to give any place but Fat Straws a chance. Vicki and I went in Wednesday night, it took us a while to find the location since navigation said to turn on the street before the shopping center back by the Post Office. We had to call and ask where they were after circling the entire area twice... their sign wasn't lit up and just didn't see it. Once we got in, the two guys working were very helpful, they let us try the jellies, the tapioca bubbles and the popping boba. Those were cool! They had also just made a Purple Oreo for another patron and gave us both samples to try. I knew I loved Taro but had never thought about putting crushed up oreos in it. Yum. Vicki tried the Pumpkin Spice smoothie with a combination of boba, popping boba & jellies. Why is it so hard to find a good smoothie here in Carrollton? Came here after grossing out at another place. I ordered a large smoothie and right away I noticed something wrong. The blender was filled with ice all the way to the top. I couldn't see what else she put in there, but can't imagine there was much room with all that ice in there. The texture didn't look or feel right either. I live 3 minutes away and by the time I got home the melted ice was separating. I think I'll save my money next time and make it at home with all fruit. I was excited to try this place after reading the reviews. I got my go-to milk tea with tapioca. There was something off about the milk tea...like it was more watery than other places. Came here to see what all the fuss is about. And I left satisfied. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted. And my mom got confused by all the choices. But we ended up with a strawberry black tea with mango popping boba, a mango-peach chiller with mango and strawberry popping boba, and a Thai tea with strawberry popping boba to bring home to brother. I really liked the popping boba. It provided a different experience to bubble tea. The things they come up with! My strawberry tea was refreshing. It even had little pieces of strawberry in it. Unimpressed. I was craving a good fresh brewed bubble tea and did not find salvation here. We did try a strawberry smoothie concoction and it was way too sweet. I did enjoy the tapioca, but it didn't hit the spot. The service was very friendly though, really nice guy wearing glasses. I may have extremely high standards set by another bubble tea chain in the area who carry a whole shelf of fresh loose leaf teas. I recommend them instead. EDIT: the owner is a super nice guy and committed to customer satisfaction. He invited me back to try their bubble teas, which he says are made from high quality tea. I've been going to fruitealicious since it first opened. I've always loved their large amount of variety in choosing drinks and the ability to make your own drink right off the bat. They have such unique drinks that you won't find anywhere else. Since they opened a few years ago, they've been nothing but consistent in the quality of their drinks, and if I'm disappointed, the staff gladly makes me a new one. They have a bubblehead club, so with a certain amount of points (I think 4-5 drinks) I get a $2 off coupon. Some of my favorites that I ask for are the Strawberry Peach frozen tea that has a hint of lychee and my usual is the Strawberry Guava Black Tea with rainbow jellies. I'll admit that sometimes their teas are disappointing, so I stay away from them most of the time - particularly the milk tea, which I found a little watery, and the thai tea. Besides the drinks, this location has a great atmosphere with a friendly staff. They keep board games around, so it's a great place to chill and hang out with some friends. The owners have also been friendly enough to hold some fundraisers for the high schools nearby, which is pretty great. Anyways, when I have bubble tea fix, Fruiteas is the place I go to. read more

This is, by far, the best bubble tea location in the area for many, many reasons! Friendly (and helpful) staff, quality drinks, and affordable prices make Fruitealicious incredible. To start, every employee welcomes you as you walk in with a refreshing greeting. Don't know what to order? They always have great suggestions to please any palate. Their work staff is definitely more eager to help and ensure you have a great experience that other bubble tea shops. I accidentally forgot to ask for bubbles in my drink (a mango peach slush, which, in my opinion, is the best) last time I visited, but the employee was extremely helpful. Even though the drink was already mixed and the lid sealed, the employee gladly opened my drink and added the bubbles, smiling, of course. The atmosphere is also much better than other bubble tea places. Fruiteas (as my friends and I call it) is a very ample, comfortable store. The store has board games to play if you'd like to sit and hang out with friends at the store over a drink. WiFi is free-- great if you'd like to get some work done. They also have a generous rewards program, which keeps me coming back! After a few visits I'll get a $2-off coupon; it genuinely shows the store cares about its customers. If you haven't visited, make sure you do. You won't regret the stop! If there's anything that could make your visit better, I'm sure you can ask any worker and he or she will willingly take care of it. I first stopped by fruitealicious last winter when I saw they had taken over another less than great boba (bubble) tea business. I tried their raspberry lemonade chiller and was hooked. Since then, I've moved onto other drinks such as their mango lassi with boba and rainbow jellies. I probably stop by once a week for my fruitealicious fix now. I notice that not only do they have great mixologists who will help you decide on what tea, chiller, etc. to order, but they also have free wi-fi and 2 computer terminals which allows you to check your email if you didn't happen to bring in your laptop during the visit. The owners, Jon and Carmen are super-friendly and obviously care about your opinion. The other staff are young, helpful and intelligent as well.
