You can request a new scoop, but that doesn't really help all the times they already used a glutenous scoop in an ice cream thats gluten free. Easy fix would be to put all gf flavors together, and keep a scoop with them... but they haven't gotten there yet. Most places, you can request fresh scoops from new containers... but here, they want you to call ahead to do that..... and while that might work for most, we usually spur of the moment ice cream people. My family still goes here without me, but I no longer buy large containers to take home. I am not sensitive to cross contamination, but here, I have been getting sick consistently so I just stopped going.

I parked in front of the store and unloaded all 30 gallons into my small camping wagon. The storefront has large windows all around, so the staff could clearly see me unloading the entire order. Only after I had finished and was about to bring everything inside did an employee, a young blond man, come out and tell me they wanted the delivery brought to the back instead. A simple heads-up at the beginning would have saved a lot of unnecessary work. Instead, I had to haul the entire load around the building after already unloading it. To top it off, the tip was just $1. Delivery drivers work hard, often in extreme Arizona heat while handling heavy loads. A little communication and basic consideration go a long way. Based on this experience, I won't be accepting deliveries to this business again.

Anyways, my go to is the sweet cream honeycomb, with either the rocky road or the bacon & bourbon if I'm feeling a bit boozy (yes, that last one has some bourbon in it) in a waffle cone. They've got something for everyone! Coffee and espressos, ice cream floats, sundaes, banana splits, even a pizzookie concoction (Farmhouse) that's big enough to share with a couple friends! I would recommend making a reservation on the weekends since this is a niche spot and it's not a dine and dash kind of place. Our server was attentive and helpful when we had an issue. The ravioli came with a large ball of Burrata cheese on top and had a good combination of flavors. I appreciate that the non alcoholic cocktails are more affordable and not the same price as the regular cocktail. I had the apple mule NA and it was a nice taste of fall. Off the top--one of the best ice creams you can get. Service is good and friendly. I'm concerned…read morethat sometimes only one employee, a girl, a 14-year-old girl (!) is working by herself late at night. Safety issue. Apparently the owner doesn't care much about the safety issue nor the illegality of hiring an under aged minor. Store is not dirty, but doesn't give the impression of a 5-star clean store, either. But it is good. Seating capacity is pretty much standard for a BR31, which translates to "not a whole lot". About typical for most ice cream places like Cold Stone. Parking could be better. Limited number of spaces attached to this building. OK, now let's talk ice cream. I like to get pre-packed quarts because it is cheaper than buying it on a cone. Not only that, but you get a deal on two quarts and at some BR31's a deal on four quarts. (But not at this one.) Baskin Robbins puts more cream content in their ice cream than most, that's why it is rich. Their flavors are some of the best. In my opinion, BR31 has the best mint chocolate chip on the planet. As is their peanut butter n' chocolate, pralines and cream, almond mocha fudge, rocky road (sorry Dreyer's!), chocolate fudge, and Baseball Nut. Items on their extended menu like drinks and sundaes are incredible. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

The order I received was a a medium vanilla shake and a cup of gummy bears. They said it was very chaotic in there (and aren't prone to exaggerate). As I am sick I cannot go in to get my cup, nor can I call, because I cannot speak. There is also not a way to resolve the issue on the app. If I am able to go in this weekend I will update. It was a major bummer though. I worked there when I was a teen and loved the place. I didn't feel well, so forgot to take a photo. So sorry. The cup of gummy bears was humorous despite my disappointment about my coloring changing cup meant to bring me some silly joy while feeling under the weather. UPDAE - It's the following night. I am still ill, but since I was out with my teens they offered to go in and let the employees know the problem and show them my order and try to grab the cup since it was on the way home. We pulled up 10 minutes before closing and the employees seemed to physically notice us, have a conversation about it (my daughter thought she read their lips talking about how many of us there were), and then turned off the lights. So... that was lovely. My sister also said that when she was in last night something seemed off, that it was messy, and she had concerns that employees may have even been on drugs. She doesn't exaggerate, so... that also explains why she was quick to get out and not double check on my order... I'm real sad about this situation... I am adding a cropped photo of my order from the app to clarify what the gummi bear cup is.
