We are turning off the service effective 4/26. They do not pro-rate - in other words, we'll be billed for the full month! Elderly parents without wifi and cable for 30 days and after the tech responds to the home today, I expect he will fail to fix the issue on their new home. The quality of Frontier Communications is the worst ever and you can never seem to talk to an actual person to get help. I ALWAYS pay my bill on time every month. All of a sudden I get a double Bill, saying I am past due from last month . Pulled up my bank statement and I had in fact paid the bill last month and I have a confirmation number to prove it. This is a absolutely the worst company to do business with. I have several reasons why; for starters, they do not listen well at all! I scheduled a new service set up and was told they'd be there between 8-12 on Monday-no call no show until Friday. Like what?? Let's not even talk about trying to speak to a supervisor.....they LITERALLY do everything in their power to not let you talk to them. They tell lots and lots of lies. That really baffles me because if I had a customer that was as unhappy as me I'd be trying to reconcile. I wanted on hold 4 time this week to speak to one just be hung up on. Thirdly, I had a house fire back in April and called all utility companies to cancel service. But guess what the none listeners did???? Didn't listen and just continue to let my bill accumulate to collections. I have stressed I'm working on the front line for COVID 19 and didn't have the luxury of waiting an hour each time. Funny thing is, this happen April 2019, I called to set up new service in March 2020 and was told I had a 0 balance and they would come out to my new place to set it up. Think about it, if I had an outstanding balance, would the just come start a new service in which I've paid monthly since March?? The first tech didn't check to be sure he did his job right so it took 3 more days of staying home waiting for no-show techs before the speed was corrected. Now, calling again to find if or when they plan to bury the line that's been laying on the ground for 8 days and counting. Seriously, I know it's an outside company that does it, but Frontier can't even see me in the system. What, is this the first time they've done this in Bradenton, FL? If I could rate 0 stars I would. I placed an order for internet for installation on a Friday 12-4 pm. Took off work. They never showed and I never heard anything from them. I had to call to find out they couldn't complete the order that day. Was supposedly rescheduled to the next day...Saturday 8-1. Took another day off work. Still didn't show and no call. Had to contact again to find out they couldn't complete the order again that day. So I ended up canceling the order and going back to Comcast. I hope I am the only one that is still waiting after 7 weeks of trying to get service hooked up at my new residence which is the same property that we live on now. We have had over 10 hours of calls and 3 times service techs have shown that could not run the wire which is step one! Today was supposed to be the magical day! So I waited.. waited some more and finally after they did not show in the 4 hour window which they told me, I called. I found out that the office that runs the wire is not able to come out because of Covid... which I understand. What I don't understand is no one could call to let me know. We live in a brand new development on School Avenue across from Payne Park and Frontier Communications is responsible for work completed under the sidewalk in two places along the front of the new development. There are two openings with manhole like coverings on each. When it rains, water fills in underneath the sidewalk and comes up through the coverings and the standing water forms a slimy, slippery surface (algae) and at night it only looks like water on the pavement and to the unknowing/unsuspecting it is a terrible fall waiting to happen each night. I finally was able to reach Frontier (took over an hour) and was given the run around 3 times before I was finally able to report the issue and let them know the situation was a safety concern. I even took and sent pictures. They said it would be addressed quickly. That was over a month ago. I am not a Frontier customer and I never will be. I have heard from friends who are customers, and that Frontier is horrible at responding to anything. I just found out it is true. Maybe when they get sued because someone busts their butt (hopefully it won't be me or mine) because they don't seem to care. They certainly proved to me they don't. read more

Frontier in Tampa has officially provided the worst customer service experience. FIOS has been out since Wednesday April 13. Called and got a service date for a technician to arrive on Sunday April 17 between 8am and 5 pm. At noon Sunday I called to confirm the tech would be coming. He never showed. I called again at 9:00 pm to report the no show and they tell me he was there at 5 pm and rang the door bell several times but got no answer. This was 100% untrue. To validate I reviewed our home video recording and confirmed the tech lied about the visit as no one ever appeared on camera. I have been given a follow up appt for Wednesday April 20 at an undisclosed time. Seriously, is this a flipping joke. If I ran my business this way I would be out of business instantly. We tried the ATT Direct TV and Frontier bundle after being promised satellite service had improved. Wrong! We had it removed 24 hours later. It took an entire weekend of being on hold and transferred to get assistance with billing. I was assured fees were waved but just received a 154$ bill from Frontier. This is my second Frontier review... First one was for my house in Sarasota. Terrible experience. This one is for our condo. Unfortunately for me, I have no choice but to use Frontier for our condo (a rental property) because the association has one company service the whole property. We are locked in and obligated to use one company ~ all 174 of us. So, I discover my condo has no TV nor Internet. I call the HOA special 800 number for help. The technician tells me how to potentially fix it. No luck, he tells me that the equipment is bad, he'll have to send someone out to change it. This is Friday afternoon; the technician won't arrive until TUESDAY! I explain that I can't wait until Tuesday, I have a renter coming. Sorry! Nope. He can't dispatch anyone, I have to wait. Nothing he can do, that's just the breaks. I offered to go somewhere and pick up the equipment and change it myself. Nope. I'm not qualified. So, I lose the rental income from the renter who won't stay in a condo with no TV or Internet. They are also inconvenienced for having to change their reservation at the last minute. Thanks for yet ANOTHER bad experience. I pay for a service each month along with my 173 friends who live around me. We are stuck with Frontier and their terrible service, and their wires lying all around our property on top of the grass because they won't bury them appropriately. Worst. Company. Ever. read more

Today I was able to finally recoup my extra deposit back that Frontier took out of my account 3 TIMES. 3 transactions $456/$456/466 on 12/12/19 I called immediately on the 13th just to be put on hold for an hour - I hung up as the technician was to install on the 16th. I explained the scenario to the tech that day and he called his supervisor, whom emailed the accounts department. On the 19th is when the accounting department called and left me a voicemail with a specific number and ext. to call back. I did so, I left 2 messages and NEVER received a call back. Today, I call the number again and that extension is no longer available. So, after holding on the main line I talked with a representative that had the bank transactions searched for. After 20 mins of being on hold, she comes back with two confirmation numbers of my refunded money. I asked what of my time and that Frontier made this mistake and could be considered fraudulent. She literally told me that is how Frontier is. I will receive nothing for my dissatisfaction and it will take another 3 - 5 business days to process my refund. This review is not specific to this location but rather the whole company. 1) the service is expensive. So you would think that it would be top notch. This is not the case. My internet runs pretty slow, when service is out it takes forever to fix it and 2) the customer service is HORRIBLE. I have never been so disrespected. I was autobilled for a premium channel that was we got free at sign up. I called right after my payment went out and the lady I spoke to was condescending and flat out rude. After some back and forth, the service was canceled. I was told that I would receive a credit on my next bill bc the payment had already been made. This month, no credit was issued and I was told "I can't do anything about it" AFTER BEING ON HOLD FOR 45 MIN. I was not asking for anything special - just a credit for the payment I already made for a service that was canceled, hence unused. They obviously don't care about their customer satisfaction in the slightest. Looking to switch providers. UPDATE: I contacted the frontier social media team per their request below. 0 Stars. Frontier is the worst cable & internet provider ever. When they took over my Verizon account, I fought with them for months over my bill. They could never get it right! For 2 YEARS they billed me 5 dollars a month for an unlisted phone line that I DISCONNECTED!!!!. For 3 months I called to fix the charge, but it took over an hour each time to get assistance. One time a representative was "transferring" me to their "manager", after waiting on hold for 30 minutes the representative picked up and said "O you are still there?" YES YES YES I'm still here, I'm still upset. I stuck it out with them and stopped complaining about the $5 charge for about a year and a half because I was in the process of buying a home and new I would be moving and didn't want to start a contract with another company. After moving, I cancelled my account on January 10th. They told me my account would officially close on Jan. 22nd because I was paid up until that date. They sent me the boxes to return my equipment. I returned my equipment. In February I received a bill for $175.27. I called and spent an hour on the phone getting the charges zeroed out and confirming my account was really closed. They assured me I would receive a $0 bill in the mail next month as proof. I just received a bill for $125.27. So I just spent 40 minutes on the phone. I spoke to a customer service rep, then a billing rep, then a collections rep. All 3 said O that's just the system, it will continue billing you for 90 days and then it will just fall off. Then I asked for something in writing confirming my account was closed and that I do not OWE any money, because these bills are confusing. So the collections rep was supposed to be transferring me to their supervisor. I wasn't surprised when I started hearing the automated questions in Spanish. This is terrible customer service. Frontier Communications (internet, TV and Phone) Just moved to Tampa 6 months ago and I have to say that I have never experienced quality and service this bad. When you call for issues or scheduling you get passed around until the call drops. When you schedule appointments, they don't assign internally then close the ticket - of course you won't know that until the tech doesn't show - then call back and they say it's too late now - you will be schedule for 10 days out again. That happened to me 3 times. TV picture not good. Internet speed not what they advertise and the telephone voicemail pin keeps re-setting. Initial install, the tech just laid the cable across the lawn (not buried!) Equipment in the attic is not plugged in because there is not enough slots in that box. I hope that another company comes in to buy and fix them - this is like no other experience. read more
