04/07/2023 Frontier has no way of resetting their WiFi! As a constant traveler and having Cameras, security system and air conditioning/Heating/and Humidifier working on WiFi it is not comforting to have it all go away after a lightning storm. Particularly if you are 3,000 miles away for a month. When I get home all I have had to do was turn it on. (Another company used to do this from their service desk). Plus, I paid 1/3 more than I am paying now for a better service. In trying to cancel my subscription, I have to take the equipment back to their store. (They have no store in Tampa)! After 2 weeks of awful service and horrific customer service i called to cancel...I called about 5 times and they just wouldn't cancel it out. On Jan 26th I took my equipment back to UPS(who told me to hold the paperwork for a year since they are notorious for charging people hundreds of dollars claiming they never received the equipment back). I then continue calling to close my account and they said it was done and it never was. I got a bill in March thinking my account has been closed. I called and they said the 88.00 was for the month of March and i told them I closed the account in Jan. I have a bill that they have charged me for Jan, Feb and March...$88.31 a month. The first time I called in Jan to cancel the person I spoke to said that i was under the 30 day guarantee and there would be no charge since i canceled after 2 weeks. Absolutely abysmal service. A family friend in his 90's and dependent on phones for his LifeAlert has been without service for at least a week. When I went to the website to get the technical support number, the bot keeps me on a cycle always leading back to sales. Can't reach a person. Can't get to an operator. In addition, the services are out because of the horrible installation work. Wires are left to touch casings and ground out signals and the outdoor fiber is run through indoor conduit. When I finally get a human, she keeps putting me on hold, saying her system is having a problem "corresponding". After questioning her on this and asking for a supervisor multiple times, she hung up. I'm trying to get our internet working again since it stopped when their technician came out to "bury" the line. The trouble ticket says "fixed", but internet is still not working. When you call their robot customer service, it creates a new ticket for 3 days later. Keep in mind the technician never called anyone and didn't knock on the door. Also, asking multiple people to give a phone # to get me to a human, they give you a different number but it rolls you into the same voice-activated system. Even there escalation line in CT 203 614 6500, goes into the voice system. And if you opt to get the receptionist, you get "a dead line". About a month ago I was out of town i received a message about a reboot which I'm assuming was being done by Frontier. A couple of days later I got home & tried to use my computer it was extremely slow. I assumed it was because of the reboot & it would eventually go back to working properly the way it did before I left home & before Frontier did its reboot. I was finally able to use it, but it was extremely slow A of couple of weeks later I tried to use my computer again the same thing happened. i called Frontier spoke with a technician & of course he tried to tell me what to do to fix it over the phone. I told him I would like a technician to come to the house I told him since I was ignorant when it came to computers & I didn't want to mess it more than it already was.He informed me that if a technician came out I would be billed one hundred & fifty dollars or I could upgrade my a new system, which sounds like extortion to me. My computer worked fine before the reboot. I think they intentionally did something to my system to cause it to not work properly so I can upgrade & of course it's going to cost more money. I told the technician to go ahead & send someone out. I received a message the next day saying had figured out the problem & they were going to cancel the technician coming out. I text back & ask not to cancel the tech coming out, because I wasn't home & couldn't check to see if the system was fixed or not. He was scheduled to come out between one & five. I got home around 11. I waited from that time until 4:30. No one showed up. I went to their website to track where he was the visit had been cancelled. Before this I've never had a problem with Frontier, the problem I'm having was created by them & yet they are treating it as if its nothing. I have never been late paying my bill. If I paid my bill the way they provide service they would have cut my internet off. I am searching for another internet company. Frontiers digital assistant told me they would email me information on how to fix my router for a refundable $1. I agreed to that but luckily my charge was declined by my credit card company. They attempted to charge $46 to my credit card without my consent. It's impossible to reach a representative on their customer service or technical service. I was put through three different phone numbers all indicated they were customer service however they were all sales. I'm finding frontier to be very deceptive on trustworthy with only moderate service. They have also turned off my telephone claiming they sent me an email related to registering for 911 service. BUYER BEWARE! I am in the process of moving into a new home and thought I would give Frontier a try. I called, got everything setup and was scheduled for a tech to come out and get us going... Everything was down hill from there. It's bad enough that we had to wait for FOUR HOURS as the scheduled window, but we waited that whole time and no one ever came or even called. I then spent over 3 hours on the phone and more than an hour talking with someone online, yet nothing got resolved. Not once did anyone actually offer any resolutions. While calling, I had to suffer through the worlds worst automated system and even worse people. I talked to no less than 15 different people, none of whom offered any solutions. Instead, they would apologize and cold transfer me to someone else. Each time I was transferred I would have to start all over again and explain myself again and wait for long periods of time for the rep to do nothing but offer to transfer me to someone else. It was an endless cycle. After wasting 8 hours of my day for something so simple, I ultimately gave up and placed service with another provider, which only took minutes. What's almost comical is that a few of them, especially the online people, will provide an empty apology. I've received several of these, but not once did any of those people offer a solution beyond hopping back onto the phone to start the nightmare cycle all over again. One said they could get a customer service manager to reach out to me in 48 hours, which is a slap in the face to have to wait like that. Empty and meaningless apologies. Dear Mr. McIntosh As I sit here for the fifth night in a row without the use of my cable television, I must admit I'm totally frustrated. This is not the first time I've had trouble with my service that I've only had for about six months. Most of the customer service problems I have start with your customer service line in the Philippines. I find they do not understand or know how to listen to customers to determine exactly what they needs are and they're very quick to say OK we'll get you a service call. This is the second time in six months I've been cable TV for more than a couple of days. This current issue started Sunday and today is Thursday, because this was the quickest they could get a technician to my home. Today the technician arrived tried to diagnose the problem but wasn't terribly successful he attempted to reinstall three different DVR boxes that he brought with him on his truck. None of these boxes worked! He mentioned it may be an issue because there was a software updated frontier that doesn't allow a DVR boxes to be remotely programmed and they have to be programmed with a thumb drive. As he was leaving today, he promised me he would come back tomorrow morning most likely with his boss because his boss is the one that knows how to reprogram these boxes with the thumb drive. At 7:30 this evening I received a text message telling me that they had to change my technician appointment until Saturday between one and 5 PM. This is unacceptable. First of all I was promised that they would be here tomorrow if my technical problem wasn't able to be fixed you would think I would be on the top of the list the next day but no now they're trying to push it out till Saturday two more days without cable service. I tried calling the customer service line again today I ended up dialing in four times because I would ask to be put on hold I would say OK and then my call would be dropped and I would not receive a call back. So, I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor again and again my call was cut off. I cannot tell you how frustrating this is to be an elderly consumer who is unable to get any satisfaction from his cable television provider. Customer service! I have been with them since 2022. I called to change my programming plan to streaming to cut cost and was told I had to approve new package so I did. After I cancelled all services I was told I had a cancellation fee of 252.+. I had approved a 2 year contract for internet totally unaware that is what I had approved. Nightmare Continues - Waiting 19 Days to Complete Frontier Install This is my second post about Frontier's terrible customer service. My saga began on May 20. It is now June 7 and my Frontier internet service has still not been installed. I have called customer service several times and was given incorrect and conflicting information about why my service has not been installed. Four, yes I said 4, techs have been to my house and told me they have contacted Frontier to inform them about what needs to be done, yet Frontier still has not fixed the issue. The issue is the third party vendor damaged the fiber optic cable when they first buried it back in May. The problem is a blocked conduit. Frontier is unable to communicate effectively to the construction team to clear the blocked conduit. I was told by the cable burying company that Frontier has still not submitted a "SSP" to the construction company. It's been 19 days and Frontier still cannot send in the correct paperwork. By the way, an Account Manager from Frontier Communications Social Media Escalations sent me several emails saying he was monitoring the situation and would fix my problem. Not true! All you will receive from the Account Manager are insincere apologies and empty promises to get the job done. Frontier is a large company, but it's local service and customer relations are like something you would expect from two guys with a pickup truck and shovels. read more

I have been a Frontier customer for 3 or maybe 4 years. I spoke with a Frontier Customer Service Rep, (CSR), approximately 2 weeks ago when I received a bill for an incorrect amount. I explained that was not the billing amount I had agreed too. The male rep listened and encouraged me to sign up for auto pay. I agreed, but with the caveat that Frontier would take half of the payment that day and I would call on Aug 1 and advise regarding our agreement and I could pay the remaining balance in full, In 7 days on Aug 9. Today, I received an e-mail thanking me for my payment. I called and explained the agreed arrangement that was totally disregarded, and was told, sorry, there is nothing that can be done. What kind of customer service is that? Apparently, if you don't have your debit card in your hand when you call Frontier, you are TOTALLY wasting your time!! Seems like a one way relationship. I just got frontier fiber Internet. The service goes out several times a day. To close the account and return the equipment requires a QR code. To get the QR code I have to call an 800 number. I've been on hold twice 20 minutes and disconnected from that number. They're going to charge me some $500 if I don't return the equipment. This is ridiculous. read more

Unbelievably unreliable. I tried using them several years ago, but their technicians didn't know what they were doing. I recently made the serious mistake of trying them again. They gave me a 4-hour window and then didn't show up. Then they promised to make another appointment "at my convenience". "Convenience" to them is another 4-hour window when "they are available". I got sucked in a second time, and waited another 4-hour window at home, and once again they did not show up. How do they stay in business??
