The almond pound cake is moist and delicious. Best I've ever had. Owner was also friendly.

Bright and airy space, almost like a spa!…read more Quiet when I came in weekday afternoon. Calming spot to grab a treat, get some work done/journal, or catch up with friends in an aesthetic and modern cafe. Ordered the paradise tea with mango and avocado. I loved the textures and layers of flavors. The drink was filling and lasted me a while, not watery but refreshing. The mango tasted fresh and avocado creamy. I haven't tried the pastries at this location, but have at their other Richmond cafe. Great cakes and buns made fresh in-house. Easy to find parking at the lot outside. Service is pretty quick.

The ambiance was clean and orderly. Upon entering, you grab a serving tray lined with parchment and some tongs. The items are in a glass enclosed display that you have to open and place your selections on your tray for purchase. I settled on the pistachio cream filled pecan pastry, the almond twist, and strawberry shortcake. The beverage menu was extensive: matcha, flavored teas, cocoa, espresso/coffee, and more. We were greeted by pleasant staff at checkout and our orders placed in a parchment type bag for take out. They also have seating inside. The pastries were just sweet enough without being overly sweet, which I like. The pistachio cream was a perfect compliment to the pecan encrusted pastry. The almond twist was both flaky and crunchy with the sliced almonds on top, and the strawberry shortcake had layers of real strawberries, whipped topping and yellow cake that was moist. All were fresh. All in all, a great place to stop by for a morning pastry treat and tea/coffee while in the area,

The owner is really responsive, very creative, and has made themed cakes for us from anything for 10 people to 50, each of them turning out beautifully, and tasting amazing. We have not had a single birthday party where several people have asked where the cake/cupcakes came from..... and we order bigger cakes now so everyone can take a little home. They are THAT good. They keep ready-made cakes for last minute needs as well, in all sizes. And some lovely cupcakes in different flavors - strawberry, honeydew, vanilla, lemon, red velvet - you name it. The texture is different, so if you are looking for traditional airy box-style cake mix flavor, then go elsewhere. These cakes are a little heavier in texture, but less sweet, and definitely worth the price! Eunice is a wonderful baker. And a piano teacher! Friendly, kind, very knowledgeable and open to all kinds of ideas for themes. You won't be disappointed. We LOVE Pink Belle.

I've only tried about three boba spots in the Richmond area,…read moreand even though Ben Wong is the farthest from me, it's always where I go whenever I'm craving boba. I honestly like their boba more than any of the others I've tried because it's not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. I usually stick with the Oreo cream slush, that's my go to,but every now and then I'll try something different. I've had the brown sugar milk tea, the crème brûlée milk tea, and I believe the house bubble tea as well, and I've had no complaints so far. I also really like the atmosphere. It's clean, relaxed, and a nice place to sit. I usually go with my sister, and we'll just sit there and chat. It's definitely our favorite boba spot because their teas are so good. I haven't tried the pastries or cakes yet because I'm always undecided and I don't really like overly sweet things. That said, I see a lot of people raving about them, so I'm planning to try one next time, along with some other teas.

She wasn't super friendly but we get it she wanted to eat and we had kids who were slightly undecided. I hurried the kids along in choosing and left an 18% tip. I hadn't noticed that she rang in the wrong drink different than what I said. When it was made I mentioned but said it was okay I would take it anyways then I noticed the cookie on top that we had also asked to not have as one of the kids has celiac and I wanted him to be able to taste it. The girl who rang us up had put in no cookie but the girl who made it hadn't noticed that I guess. The girl making the drink that was incorrect however was INCREDIBLY rude, never smiled, acted like we were a complete annoyance to her life. If you're open and will be open for over an 1.5 more hours acting like customers are bothersome to you is insane. We did not feel welcome in the least and left immediately after receiving the correct drink.

There are several varieties, with apples, berries, cookies, caramel etc., but I like the good, classic Old Skool. Here's what could make this tiny, unique shop score more stars: the atmosphere - it's boring inside, and uncomfortable. Teeny tables squeezed along the galley near the counter. Some of the tables would work better in the corner where the drink case is. Some colorful posters featuring the different treats would warm up this otherwise "sterile" shop. Next: service - the two people behind the counter didn't want to be there, apparently. No welcome, no smile, when I asked for some utensils, she just pointed to the table near the beverage case. I found forks, but no knives to cut the pastry, so we made do. A friend of mine said, they do have knives but I wasn't told that by the young girl who worked there. Anyway, Next: the napkins - please "splurge" on some softer napkins! What's up with those sandpaper servilletas?? I thought I'd scratch myself wiping my mouth. I also ordered a cinnamon bun to go for the friend who referred me here, and they will put the frosting separate, so you can warm up the roll in your own oven! So that was nice!! That being said, I think that if they tweaked this place a bit, it would be a hot spot because the sweet rolls are cinn-fully cinn-alicious!
