Reliably great! Staff is friendly, quick service, great ice cream of course!! Usually open late too

Service is horrible. Staff very unprofessional. I ordered 2 ice cream sundaes and 2 Fribbles. Sundaes were melted, and the fribbles were not securely placed into the bag. I was told they were and they spilled all over the inside of the bag and leaked out onto my passenger front seat. I called to speak to the manager. He goes sorry about the fribbles, hold on. He then goes the freezer is working. Let me see what I can do. He said there was nothing he can do. Took my name and number but never called me back. Seriously? He was very rude on the phone and unprofessional. I did get a full refund because I reached out to someone superior to him. What I thought was a nice treat for my family turned into a horrible experience. I will never order from there again. I will go to carvel it's worth the trip. If I could rate friendlys a 0 I would!! read more

Kristin was an excellent server and provided an enjoyable time. Highly recommend going and getting a fantastic crispy chicken salad.

Good food. I did the pick 3 on the back of the menu. I upgraded the starter for 1.99 and added ice cream. All came out to less than $20 for drink, appetizer, meal and small ice cream. Will come back. read more

Disgusting food. Came out cold and seemed old and dry. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. Our server was nice though. Filthy restrooms with feces on that floor. Never again!! read more

Our meal was the normal Friendly's yum, and Malik was our very pleasant and helpful sever.

Actually enjoyed this friendly's more than any other location that I have been to. We had Chelsea as our waiter. She was very friendly and fast and was on top of making sure we had everything we needed. The food was hot!!!! Which was a good thing because the Ronkonkoma location food was cold and gross. The ice cream was good. I was really expecting terrible service and crappy food;however, this friendly's went well beyond my expectations. I liked that the manger came around to see how everything was doing. Good place for kids, cheap and of course we love the ice cream! Happy Yelping :) read more

Ordered (3) large sundaes to go and the servings were very disappointing. Ordered extra strawberries in one of the sundaes and I counted three strawberries in the whole sundae. Major bummer. read more

I am a big fan of Friendly's, have been my entire life but this visit not so much. To start the diet soda tasted bitter, I mentioned it to the waitress as I thought maybe the syrup was about to run out & it was bitter bc the ratio of seltzer/syrup was off. She disposed of our drinks and brought back 2 new ones a long time afterwards & they were exactly the same as the first, she said she had checked the machine & nothing was low or out of the ordinary, so rather than ask us if we'd like anything else or check Curto to the issue she just brought us new drinks that tasted as awful as the first set. Once more the waitress disappeared for a long time I waved her over & told her , she explained so I mentioned to her that she should notify the management bc the sweetener in diet soda expires and most likely that's the issue with its taste. Nothing. Ok so the next issue I had with this. Is it is our food came out at different times, like a good 5 to 7 minutes after the other 2 meals were delivered & out onion rings that were ordered with the food weren't delivered to the table until we were all almost finished with the dinner. We asked for a box to take food home & the table next to us ordered & received their food before she came back to take our ice cream order empty handed. No box! Just horrible service. read more

My sister and I went here for lunch. We were seated and was told someone will be right with you. We waited 45 minutes before my sister went to the take out window and asked a waitress if we were going to be helped soon since we've been seated 45 minutes prior. She gave my sister an attitude and said someone will be right with you. Terrible service and terrible attitude. read more

It's beyond a shame that every time I come here something is made wrong. Tonight my boyfriend and I came to the Ice-cream counter to of been greeted with an unfriendly cashier. Next the menus were sticky which led me to believe they haven't been whipped down all day, possibly all week. Following, we get home to notice that our order was wrong. Hot fudge & peanut butter sauce was missing from both. Additionally I asked for no cherries and Reece's pieces, which I didn't receive either. The ice cream prep counter was also dirty, with the friendly worker failing to clean the frenzy/milkshake machine in between orders. Other Friendly's we visit always provide great service and we can only hope that this location, which is closest to our home, would get their staff properly trained. read more

I wish I could explain here how horrible the place was tonight, but I would have to write many paragraphs. Stay away - my family and I had the worst experience. The place filthy - tables around us with piles of dirty dishes, debris, floors dirty, flying insects - knats. The Wait staff extremely slow, never got the order right , served us cold coffee , the food was also cold, looked like it was sitting around, french fries gross, soggy. When we order ice cream, we waited 35 minutes, even though the place was empty - besides us. When I finally got up to find the waitress and ask for our ice cream, she along with other staff members were "hanging out" in back room talking, while our ice cream was sitting on a shelf melting away. They brought all the melted ice to our table, after I complained and asked where our ice cream was. This place needs to close up, it is the pits. read more

i had dinner here last night with my two kids and husband. Elena was our waitress and she was great, everything came out perfect no mistakes. I am glad we got her as our waitress because the older waitress working last night was yelling most of the time. we were seated near the kitchen door and could just hear her screaming as we're having dinner, so unprofessional. the food was good but it was much better because we didn't wait for anything the waitress was on top of it all! read more

I had the most amazing server Emily! She gave me and my party the most amazing service!!! She deserves a raise!!! I will gladly be ready to come back and have her serve us again !!! read more

Omg went here with the family me my wife and my kids for ice cream. sat down at 9pm was not waited on till 9:35 and the dinning room was basically empty so sat the for 35 minutes watching the servers walk by us again and again. At 9:35 a server finally came to our table and thats after my wife had to get up and ask for someone. We asked to start off with water while we wait for the ice cream that we ordered at the same time as the water it took 12 minutes for the water wich came and no straws so had to get up and ask for straws. The ice cream came at 10:15 that a hour and 15 minutes just for ice cream. Ice cream came and it was melted and the hot fudge was not hot at all instead it was dried up. Had to ask to speak to a manager. The manager phil came to our table and we filled him in on our concerns and his excuse was that they where extremely busy with door dash orders and people was being extremely picky about their orders . So there for the inhouse guests had to suffer mean while the servers where no doing anything very unpleasant experience we love friendly's just not going back to this 1 at least not at night read more

Brandon was very sweet and made everyone's ice cream while the managers stood there watching him working his toosh off. We waited over 30 minutes for our ice cream due to Brandon being the only one actually working. The management here sucks. Thank you Brandon for making all of our ice cream, do yourself a favor and leave this poorly ran place. read more

Medford friendlys DON'T GO Waited 25 minutes finally got up and found waitress, but she still never came over after giving me my meal. Passed by me 3xs without stopping at table. Was angry at me inquiring after waiting almost half an hour. I believe she was a manager also. This friendlys is the pits read more

Had to request for the food to be re heated. The waffle fries were salty. I only enjoyed the banana split read more

Disgusting, never again.everyone's dinner was inedible.the COVID is not putting them out of business, it's the quality of their food.

Went there for Ice Cream last Friday at 9pm. Waiting by the takeout area to order Ice Cream for myself and my Wife. No one helping me just waiting. Finally see a Friendly staff member scooping ice cream and putting them into small cups. As he is scooping the ice cream he looks around and Licks the entire Ice Cream Scooper with his tongue and puts it back into the water. He asked if I would like some help and I stated No thanks and walked out. Board of health needs to be called or employee terminated. read more

Slow service and really, really awful food. The Friendly's of my childhood is gone. The experience I had tonight was so disappointing. My party of 4 had 3 meals that were disgusting, and the one meal that was enjoyed was the Kraft Mac n cheese. I had promised my kids that they could have ice cream, but by the time the server came back to take our dessert order we just wanted to get out of there so we ordered ice cream to-go. Got home and, no surprise, one of the orders was wrong. Never again. We deserve a refund but I won't even bother trying to get one. read more

This is a good choice to go out to eat with family and friends I definitely recommend it

I'm not really sure what the appeal of this place is? I mean we're in Long Island, there are literally dozens of other diners within a 10 mile radius, so I don't really understand the brand loyalty that goes on here. Often as a tween I'd come here after chorus concerts and plays with my friends, we'd mostly just hang out and talk smack, but the food was never particularly good? I always kind of came along because of other peoples' preferences. As a vegetarian there are like no options here, yeah there's a really greasy grilled cheese and fries or a slimy cheese quesadilla, but my god what is there to gain here? My friends would get the ice cream/sundaes, but I feel like their ice cream isn't even that great? Sometimes we'd have to wait over half an hour for one order of a 2 scoop sundae, I mean, it's like these people enjoy the the sub-par-ness that is Friendly's. Pass. read more

Had lunch here with my mom and son. Wait time was about 5 mins. Our hostess and waitress was Nicole. She was great! Smiling, friendly and attentive. Food was very good. We received it hot. Which was perfect. This was the first time we have been to friendlys and got our food and ice cream as soon as everything was made. Nothing was sitting around. Great job to the cooks and especially to Nicole! Only Con was that there are not many tables. We do not like the tall tables. Booths are short and snug. Wish they would add more tables and get rid of some booths. read more

I would give zero stars if i could absolutely ridiculous they brought out the wrong sunday's and then when they finally fix it the sunday's they brought were MELTed more like milkshakes worst service..... absolutely horrible read more

The waitress was very nice and friendly. Came here after my sons baseball game at Baseball Heaven. They were busy had a bit of wait. The reason for 3 stars is I ordered a sprite and when it came it was in a glass with chips all around the rim. I had to ask for it to be changed because I was afraid I would be swallowing glass. Not sure why a restaurant would allow broken glass to be used to serve customers. Makes me worry about what else they would allow. Please note I was given a better glass and was given reason for the chipped rim on the glass was the dishwasher. read more

Go here for my cheat meals. Even though I could eat here everyday. Service is great even getting take out doesn't take more then just a few minutes. Food was ok but when my daughter ordered ice cream to stay in ordered one to go. Now common sense says the to go order would be made later, no they both came out at the same time. So one melts while we wait for the check and my daughter to finish. It would be great it restaurant worker's were trained. read more

Good ice-cream, bad wait, bad price. Waiter was nice, but the ice-cream was extremely over-prices.

Not the greatest for take out... food looked as if it were thrown together. Other then Tht clean establishment & decent service.

Although I cannot say this place has the best food, our time was well spent all thanks to our server, Deanna. She was kind, patient, and pleasant and made up for the subpar food they serve here. Friendly's is not bad for a quick appetizer but I would shy away from any real meals if your looking for something 5-star. More of a quick, cheap bite to eat. Once again, the stars given were all thanks to our server, I would've given her 5 stars just for her customer service! read more

We have been coming to this one since my daughter was a toddler. Great food and even better ice cream! It sure beats a trip to mcdonalds or burger king! I personally like the bbq chicken strips and even the turkey, my daughter loves the chicken wraps in honey mustard sauce. Ice cream favorites are reeses pieces, peanut butter cup, or frenzies. Service is always usually very good as well. read more

They are back open after the fire. Well I used to like this one but there was so little to like now. the place was dirty, floor in the dining room was full of food remenants and hey look up.....there is ketchup on the air duct. the service was slow as dirt and they were blaming it on the kitchen. people across from me got their ice cream and the waitress did not take away the plates from dinner. she got up and put them on another table. other people were complaining about the wait and the smell of the table from a dirty rag used to clean the table. go to Shirley it is much better (even knowing that this one is around the corner from me. it's a shame. oh yeah I had the philly cheese steak, it was the worse I ever had.. read more

So so so slow. Sorry:( I hate writing bad ones. But I don't have much time in between 2 jobs and I want to just eat and go. Also make all the workers actually work. I don't care if you are a host.
