Stopped in for $2 burger and fries deal. Burger and fries were ok. Lettuce on burger had holes with brown borders. Not appetizing. Worst of all, watched server "clean" some tables. Wiped tables with a cloth and left a smeared residue. read more

Had great food, but our server was not very pleasant. She wasn't very patient with our kids and was not very patient with us needing time to order....we also lost our coupon we had in our table. We think it may have gotten mixed up with the plates when server was clearing. Came here for dinner with my family.. Food was mediocre at best.. Special sauce on the meatloaf was just ketchup, corn was over cooked. We ordered desert and the ditzy waitress spilled my sundae all over. Took 5 min to get a new one and then the forgot the Reese cup on top.. the only good thing here was the burger. turkey dinner for $13 was disgusting dried leftovers. the bathroom was dirty and gross. booth and menus were sticky and dirty. the water was tap and no bottled or filtered water was available. our waiter got my order wrong and forgot to bring me a take out box. no soups were made that day. my to-go ice cream was melted by the time it got to me, and upon taking the top off, spilled all over my shoes and hands. no. just no. never again. everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. im mad that i wasted $50. read more

What do you get when you have 5 teenagers standing around laughing and texting their friends while one lone kid waits on a line of people? You get horrible service that makes no sense. Just average and hit or miss. First off, I love their combinations. $11.99 for a drink, entree, and dessert, totally reasonable. We ordered mozzarella sticks. They were hot and fresh out of the fryer. Friendly's staff might not be the nicest staff abound, but they are accommodating. My nephew emanated bacon and cheese on his fries. They were more than willing to add them to his food. My friend always orders the grilled cheese, she says it's fabulous. I had the Crispy Chicken Salad that was delicious. I wished they offered grilled chicken instead of crispy chicken..... That was the extent of our positive experience. We ordered ice cream; it took them a half hour to get us our ice cream. Did they have to milk the cow???? We asked the waiter where our ice cream was he kept saying it'll be it in a minute. We eventually asked for it to go. It was just an average experience. read more

Went there for lunch today ordered a Ruben melt sandwich which looked good in the picture but when I got it there was hardly any corned beef and what was there looked like it was left over from St Patty's day and the bread was burnt!! it was a pretty bad sandwich for $10 read more

Worst Friendlys ever! I ordered a banana split the way it comes on the menu and received a chocolate and vanilla ice cream banana split, there was no strawberry ice cream!! My banana split was mushed into a cup and there was no banana boat. JUST HORRIBLE!!! I will never return! read more

The worst Friendly's I ever been to. My calm chowder was watery. The potatoes were under cook as well. I sent that back. Then I got my fish sandwich and the bread was burnt. My girlfriend's soup was cold and her grill cheese sandwich had cheese from another meal on the top of her sandwich. We just ended up walking out. There was a family who were fighting with the staff as well why we were there. Better bad experience.... read more

We went to dinner tonight. My sister and I both ordered the Salmon. My sister's was fine, but mine arrived undercooked. I reluctantly sent it back and they took a considerable amount of time to make me another one, which was also undercooked when it arrived. My friends and I stopped in over the weekend. The majority of us thought the food was horrible. The scrambled eggs were grossly overcooked and dry. Not even ketchup helped! The coffee was awful too. I would give a 0 star rating for the food and coffee. I would give 5 star rating for our waitress Penny. She was so nice and polite. Get your food up to par. This was an unfortunate experience. The restaurant has a bad odor as soon as you walk in the door. It's that smell of fried food grease imbedded in the soft goods; curtains, chair cushions and just lingering in the air. The ladies bathroom, while it was tidy, also smelled badly. I don't know if it is a lack of ventilation or what, but it was unpleasant. The smell of old grease in the dining area was so pungent, I couldn't order anything. I had a glass of water while my companion had ice cream. When I have a craving for ice cream again, it won't be Friendly's that I go to. read more

The other night my boyfriend and I couldn't really decide where to go to eat , we ended up at Friendly's .My food was amazing I got a chicken wrap and the chicken was really good and perfectly crispy ! My French fries were absolutely perfect . The ice cream we got to go was also really good . I haven't been to Friendly's in years so I was very impressed.Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Visited evening of July 20. Will not be going back. It was so uncomfortably cold we had to get blankets from the car. Ate quickly - too bad the food was good. I went out early - could not take it any longer. Every person who exited made comment as to how cold it was inside. When we commented to waitress and hostess, they simply smiled. Bad manager, bad service, no ICE CREAM! They were out of soda, 7 flavors of ice cream (including: mint choc chip, cookie dough, cookies n' cream!!) and 2 toppings. Not only were we not informed of this before we ordered the combOHs meals, but they incorrectly charged us on the check.. every time.. after the 3rd time the check was sent back and still not right, we just paid it. The manager also refused any sort of compensation for lack of ice cream, coke, check screw-ups, whatever, and didn't even bother to come to our table to explain any of this. The waitresses tried to compensate for the horrible situation and their manager, but his disinterest, unfriendly-ness and incompetence soured the whole experience. Me and a few pals stopped here to catch some dinner and ice cream not expecting such an attitude from our waitress, Becky. She was not much help with the already confusing and price-lacking menu. Food and initial service was great. The manager cara however is not. I was charged $75 for a $35 meal and was avoided for 3 days before finally getting some type of resolution. Cara was contacted by her employees and left multiple messages about the error but not once did she reach out to resolve the problem and also took entirely to long to resolve. She also gave me an attitude and became very argumentative with me once I voiced how I believed the situation should have been handled. The staff is wonderful,the management(cara) is by far the downfall of this establishment and I couldn't be more disappointed. read more

Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Service was above average. Food was standard fare. And, of course, the ice cream was delicious!

Absolutely inefficient!!! We counted 11 open tables and the hostesses kept bottle necking customers for a minimum of 20 minutes before being seated. When asked why so many people are waiting when there are close to a dozen tables open, one hostess (they needed two) replied "we're getting to as many people as we can." My party of 2 sat at one of the 11 open tables cited 20 minutes previously. Employees stand around doing absolutely nothing. Bank on at least a 90 minute venture if you want anything here. read more

My boyfriend and I went out for lunch for our 4 year anniversary. We both ordered grilled cheese with french fries and a couple of soft drinks. First off, the waitress took a while to bring us our drinks, while she continued to help other guests and ignored us. To top it off, our food came finally and we are in the middle of eating, and my boyfriend notices a hair on his plate. (Keep in mind, that this is the second time this has happened to us at this particular Friendly's) I was completely disgusted and told the waitress and she gave us an attitude about it. The first time we went to Friendly's, the same incident happened with a hair, but I did not make a big deal about because I didn't wanna cause a comotion because I love Friendly's and have been going there for years. But since it happened a SECOND time, I had to complain. The manager was right behind her when it happened and he handled it in a poor manner. He did not come to our table and apologize and she did not apologize either. She did not take anything off the check at the end and we rushed to get out of there, terrible service! read more

the employees are rude.....hair in food....dishes are sometimes clean...management isent nice. i have witnessed an employee dropping food on the floor and picking it back up and put it on a plate and serving it to a customer. the portions are small. read more
