Minus them being stingy with the salty buiscuits and 1 slice of lemon for you catfish, food was really good. Service was slow but it was because of one table. the pancakes were nice, light and fluffy. The half-and-half and wild berry drinkd were really good and not too sugary. The scrambled eggs and grilled catfish were really good. Didn't need any extra condiments on there. The Turkey sausage (paid extra) was really good and hash Browns are pretty good too nice and flavorful.

My husband and I came to the Cracker Barrel in Trevose on Friday night for dinner, and we had a great experience. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, and he ordered the meatloaf with loaded hash brown casserole, steamed broccoli, and mashed potatoes. We were not disappointed -- the food came out quickly, everything was hot and delicious, and the portions were generous. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and honest with us. She recommended the biscuits, and we're glad we took her advice -- they were fresh, buttery, and so good. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the amount and quality of food. I also really enjoyed browsing the gift shop after dinner -- I definitely walked out with a few items I couldn't resist. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back!

Had a lunch trip to Crackel Barrel on a Thursday! Thursday is turkey day there and it's the only day you can get their turkey special with sweet potato casserole. Lunch is only $9.99. I found the menu to be a little confusing because I thought the salad was included but it turns out it was not. Everything was drowning in gravy, next time I'll ask for it on the side but everything was delicious!

Service was great. Server was nice. First time at Cracker Barrel where there was no wait. We got seated right away. Usually all the other locations have a least a . A bit loud with everyone talking. The fried pickles were super acidity. The batter on pickle is super church but also hard so it uncomfortable to eat. The rib though! Juicy, flavorful, and fall off the bone tender! The fried chicken is always good. The batter was a bit more saltier than usually though. Highly recommend upgrading on of your sides to a buttermilk pancake for an extra 2.09$!

I've heard some very negative views on Cracker Barrel over the years. The main one is that they are racist! As a woman of Asian decent, I avoid going to establishment that are known to be racist. Then you might be wondering how I end up here.... Well let's just said in 2023 Cracker Barrel decided to sell a Halloween Hello Kitty plush. It was a MUST HAVE for me, so I call the closest CB, which is the Trevose location. The male staff was very nice and told me they have some in stock. I was there in 40 minutes lol. I went to their store first to grab my plushies, I didn't feel that bad vibe, so I decided to dine in with my family. Our server Zack B. came over and grab our drinks order. Me and my daughter had order the watermelon lemonade, it was so darn tangy and no trace of the fruit, we barely drinks it. Zack replaced it for us without any problems. The ac was on BLAST, it is pretty frigid in there, so I decided to get their hot Caramel Latte. I must say that was one of the best Caramel Latte I've tasted! As for entrees, my daughter want the slider kids meal. Hubby wants the Tender and Shrimp. I order the meatloaf. Everything were very delicious. It was so good that we decided to buy a few of their $5 take home specials. Both of the staffs that were working in the restaurant and the merchandise store were friendly! But the people that go there are a bit ODD! While we ate, hubby told me the white guy behind me were staring at him the entire meal. And I say oh yeah? The white lady behind you was watching me the whole time! We didn't care and still enjoy ourselves at CB lol.

    Delicious Biscuits and Corn Muffins

The service was fantastic. It was my first time there and I enjoyed the biscuits , the hush puppies and the shepherd's pie. The catfish entree was bland. The fish was fried well but lacked sufficient seasoning and bigger portions. One fillet seemed of normal size and the second was like half of a fillet. The corn needed seasoning big time. The fried okra was okay but could've used more seasoning as well. The star of the show was the bread. The biscuits and hush puppies were sheer perfection. The waitress who served us was so sweet and friendly . I loved the old fashioned decor of the restaurant and the many items offered in the store. I purchased two containers of a childhood favorite candy which is maple nut goodies and they tasted good ; but I wish the peanuts were grounded into the candy as I remember instead of being whole. Overall, I would go back to try the other dishes.

I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!

Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich - This was the biggest disappointment. The chicken breast was extremely thick and had a grainy texture that made me wonder if it was chicken breast with rib meat. If that's the case, it gives the impression that quality isn't a priority. The breading also fell off with almost every bite, and the sandwich wasn't well proportioned (one oversized tomato slice that wasn't cut evenly). Most importantly, it didn't taste like Nashville hot at all -- more like "Nashville not." Shrimp Po' Boy - Below average. The shrimp had a slightly fishy taste, and the bread didn't resemble proper po' boy bread. The greens were a spring mix, which felt like an odd choice. Traditional shredded lettuce would have worked much better. I've had po' boys in Louisiana, and while I wasn't expecting complete authenticity, I was expecting something closer to the spirit of the dish. This version missed the mark. Smash Burger - Probably the best of the three mains we ordered, but still just average. I've honestly had better smash burgers at chains like Shake Shack. Sides: The fries were great. We ordered the beer cheese sauce, which was fine but not necessary. The onion rings were the standout -- perfectly crispy with a clean bite. The homemade ranch served with them was excellent. Overall, I really wanted to like this place more, but the food didn't deliver enough for me to return.

The beer cheese was not the best and the pork roll a bit too chunky didn't make a perfect bite. As always they rock the chicken sandwiches out of the park. Anyway if you've ever been here you know there is nothing around the mall but fast food. That's really not what I wanted. I was having so much trouble deciding we just ended up in the food court. You could smell the cheese steaks down the hall and it smelled really good. Good enough to coax me into a closer look. Upon a closer look the two guys running the shop were so friendly I was like yeah I'll do it. Only two guys doing door dash deliveries and live people in the food court. So one guy is taking orders then running back to cook. Then he was apologetic about the wait. I'm like take your time man! They were rocking it out. So then we get our food and it's really excellent. None of it is greasy. I got gourmet fries and a philly chicken cheesesteak. Fries weren't deep fried and greasy. Only complaint- worst ketchup receptacle at any restaurant ever. There is no way to hold it and keep the ketchup inside. Next time I come to a movie here I'll do it again.
