" Bacon Mac N Cheese Burger"

This place was a complete letdown. I came in for the first time very hungry ready to enjoy a bacon mac & cheese burger, but it was nothing like what was advertised. First, I waited forever just to be served a plain burger--no mac, no cheese, just disappointment. I sent it back, thinking they'd fix it, but they took forever AGAIN and I thought they were making it When it finally came out, I couldn't believe it. There were maybe 8 macaroni noodles on the whole burger. You could literally count each noodle. Where was the creamy mac & cheese the menu promised? Good luck finding it. To top it off, the water tasted awful--like toilet water, honestly. This was such a frustrating experience, and I'll never be coming back. If you're going to charge for something special, at least make it worth the hype. fires were good tho.

Haven't been here in 3 years so we were in the neighborhood and my son wanted it. Walked in and was sat right away we had a friendly older waitress. My son ordered a Turkey Melt, he took one bite and said it was delicious and with the Turkey melt he ordered mashed potatoes, that was a different story he didn't care for it and he loves potatoes, I was shocked on that one so I grabbed my fork and took a little bit and I cannot explain it just wasn't great at all. My boyfriend ordered a Burger which in his words " a Burger is a Burger" and I ordered a classic BLT which was actually pretty good and different from the other restaurants I ordered from. I believe it's the bread though I am not certain but something about this BLT is different in taste. The place could use some updating though, it just looks stuck from the late 90's, more tables would be nicer than booths, no offense to my other half he is a big guy and squeezed into the booth. Nice place, good food.

This is an update to the review I wrote for this restaurant five years ago and people............. It gets worse. This restaurant chain used to be beloved in the New England area and now I can plainly see why they're closing down left and right. It's sad because they had the unique niche of the ice cream being the big finish of the meal. Sadly, it's everything that leads up to the ice cream which is sub par. Again my responsibility as a yelp elite is to let you know the spots to go and the which ones to avoid with your family. The TLDR is don't come here. The service is again super slow even when empty (I have pictures) the waitress brought out the wrong food (again it wasn't busy here) the food is and dare I say, it smells a little funny in here. Clearly the sun is setting on this franchise and the quality of the service is going down right along with it. Friendly's is like that old family dog who's lived a full life but now he's old and tired. He doesn't come when you call. He poops and pees in his bed at night and you fastly approaching the date to put him to sleep. It's been real old friend and we had some fun memories but it's all over.

Service was a little rocky at the beginning since it took a bit for someone to come over to us but everything was smooth from there. I got salmon and filet mignon and it was pretty good and I still had so much left to take home! The crisp on the salmon was perfect without it being dried out. The steak was cooked a bit too well for my liking, but wasn't tough so it's fine. If I could recommend one item to get and one to skip for sure: get the shumai (like 3 servings) and skip the lycheetini. A good time overall.

Inevitably once in a while you're going to hear partying going on especially around the Hibachi cooking areas where families come for a show besides the food. Clearly a great place to bring your family. My wife personally enjoys the fresh made house salad dressing as I do too. I've tried the plain Chicken Wings (crispy), boy do they ever come out so delicious and hot. The Boneless Sticky ribs are sweet and tasty. We've sat at the Hibachi table twice already and enjoyed the food and cooking show. There are so many items to choose from I don't think anybody would not find something on their menu to enjoy. Everything I've tried I've thought to be delicious.

They pride themselves with offering gluten free options and an awareness of food allergies. This location is located in the Shops of Farmington. There are plenty of parking especially out back by the red barn. The restaurant was large and spacious. There was a huge U-shaped bar. They also have a nice patio area with plenty of seating and a fire pit; this would be great when the weather is nice. My family and I had lunch on Saturday. It was busy but not overwhelming. Our server was busy but super attentive and friendly. I noticed it was very kid-friendly since there were other kids there and they had a kids menu. Their menu was vast menu and I wanted to try so many food items. I started off with a hibiscus margarita; oh my, one of the best I've had, it was a 5/5. We also had the asian calamari; it's fried battered squid, banana peppers, and a side of sweet chili. This was mouthwatering good and it was a 4/5. I had a cesar half salad which was toothsome; the dressing, parmesan, croutons, and salad ratio was perfection. My main entree, I had the prosciutto wrapped cod; that is baked cod, wrapped with prosciutto, served over parmesan risotto and broccoli with lemon butter. The showstopper was the parmesan risotto, I could eat a gallon of that lol. The cod was okay, it needed more flavor but the prosciutto definitely helped with the flavor. Overall the cod fish was 3.5/5. Next time, I want to try their Thai sesame salmon, apricot shrimp risotto, pulled pork Mac and cheese, Bolognese, crab rangoon dip, and firecracker shrimp, to name a few. I was so torn but I chose a bit of a healthier option due to my New Year resolution. I loved that they had the total calories next to the menu items. My family and I look forward to going back soon!

I felt bad for the waitress as she tried hard to make our lunch experience pleasant (although I will say she and the rest of the waitstaff disappeared frequently even though the place was virtually empty), but my mother had something green and gross in her glass of water and then was served a salad with wilted lettuce, and I ordered a burger that took quite a surprisingly long time to make and it came out missing some toppings. It's possible the Italian place across the way is a better place to go, but I wouldn't come here again.

I lived in the Bronx at that time and on the main shopping street near me was a bagel bakery-you walked in and saw the vats where they boiled them and then put them on a conveyor to bake. I started bringing home bagels for her and soon my whole family started asking me to bring some for them - next thing you know, I was bringing 12 - 13 dozen bagels whenever I drove home (I have a big family)! The bagel bakery began giving me a discount for such huge orders. The only kind I refused to bring were garlic - my car (and I) would smell like garlic long after I arrived. As wonderful as those bagels were, Blue House makes the best bagels I've ever had. And the whole Vibe there is so welcoming -always friendly and helpful staff, so many great products, and a lovely area to sit and enjoy my chai and bagel. My only "complaint" is not being able to buy their fresh bagels on Monday or Tuesday!

And I did ask her how the cab was before I ordered it and she said great! Clearly never tried wine before. I also saw that I was charged for the bad wine. No biggie, but in a better place they would have tried to make it right. I tried a Hendrick's and tonic next, and the tonic water was definitely flat. I tried to ask nicely if the tonic water was flat and she never even tried it, just saying oh no, it's fine. Very disappointed with that service and the drinks were terrible. As for the food, they might not have any spices in the kitchen as the meatballs could have had some seasoning added so they didn't taste so bland! Pizza was eh at best. Someone should teach them about salt and how a little bit brings out the real flavors! We won't go back...the wait staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than they did the customers. And the side of the bar nearest the door was cold as they kept one set of doors open, so always a cold blast coming in. No wonder so many restaurants are failing these days.

The restaurant is nautical themed and it's not a fancy place but definitely a homey place. The service was great with ordering and picking up takeout. The prices were a little higher for the dinner options; I understand the situation, due to inflation and fresh seafood is usually more pricey. For starters, I had to try out their thick and creamy New England clam chowder; it was not the best I've ever had but it was a 3.5/5. My main meal was the crab cake sandwich and fries; it came with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and spicy delta tarter sauce. The crab cake was deep fried and perfectly crunchy. The fries were one of the best takeout fries I've had, it's was super crispy even after picking it up and driving home with it. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our meals!
