We had it delivered but the packaging was so skimpy it leaked in the bag and broke. So I had a guy giving me food one by one. Not good. Skip the cookies. They tasted like burgers. We walked in a little before 1:00 yesterday and found a table for two in the back left corner of the dining room, so we had a good view of the entire room. I have to tell ya, the place was packed! Breakaway closes at 3:00 every day except Sunday (2:00), and there were breakfast and lunch menus out, plus a few daily specials. My wife went with a "William's Ham Panini" ($17) with thin sliced ham, bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar and honey mustard on a grilled panini. We both were struck at how much ham was piled onto her sandwich. She had a few choices for a side dish and put her nickel down on potato salad. I went with The JT Salad ($16). The menu says it's been their "best-selling salad 25 years and counting". It was a big portion of mixed greens served with house balsamic dressing, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, and grilled chunks of teriyaki glazed chicken breast. These were crispy, with goat cheese, crushed pecans and dates. These were excellent! The roasted beet salad was a bit odd. I couldn't find a single beet. It wasn't bad, it had a ton of kale. The winner was Ahi Tuna Bowl. This had rice, avocado, cucumber, edamame and tuna, topped with sriracha. This was flavorful, tasty and a generous portion. I would return here again.
