Very reasonable.

Our intrepid group of five, four sinners and Deacon Paul, stopped for breakfast after a morning Mass at Saint Martha's in Enfield. I hadn't been to a Friendly's for breakfast since they closed the Windsor Locks location several years ago. Plenty of parking in the Enfield location, and Kaitlyn found us a large table in the back room. I was pleasantly surprised at the choices and prices (more than reasonable). I opted for the meat lover's omelet (came w toast and HFs, which came w or w/o onions... I opted for the "breath"). Food came out reasonably fast, considering it was pretty busy. My omelet was perfectly cooked, the HFs were also perfect. Only quibble was the marble rye toast was barely toasted. And all four of my friends drank for free (there us no charge for senior coffee). Kaitlyn checked on us regularly. I would definitely recommend Friendly's for breakfast. A solid 4 stars.

Awful food, worse customer service. Will not be back I can't believe I'm taking the time to write a review for a chain restaurant but I had not been to a Friendly's in years and my most recent visit was so terrible, I will NEVER be returning. On the evening of October 1st, I placed an order on their (lackluster) mobile app for carry out. I ordered one of their specialty hamburgers with french fries. The only "special instructions" I provided was "No Mayo". I hate mayo. It makes me sick and I cannot eat it. 30 minutes later, I picked up the order from the restaurant within 5 minutes of the expected timeframe provided. I immediately went back to my car, absolutely starving, to check the order. Not only did, the sandwich have mayo on it (it even said "No Mayo" on the order ticket lol) but the fries were, and I am not exaggerating, literally the worst french fries I have ever been served in my life. 100% wet, soggy and greasy. Inedible. I was infuriated but I politely walked back in side, and calmly asked an employee the employee to speak to a manager. I showed the manager the incorrect order and the disgusting fries. She wasn't very apologetic, and told me they'd remake it. I had already waited 30 minutes, and while the mayo was a mistake and that can happen, being served such awful fries showed a 100% lack of care or effort on the part of the kitchen and staff. I decided I was going to take my business elsewhere for the evening. I told the manager I didn't want a new order. I wanted a refund and to leave. They gave a bs excuse to get rid of me saying (paraphrasing) "well if you want a refund, it will take a week because I have to contact corporate since you ordered on the app. I said fine. That was almost 4 weeks ago. Two weeks after the incident when I noticed I had not been refunded, I called customer service (I used Google to find the number). It said I had to call during a weekday when I am usually working. So today, I finally had some time off, called, and was told Friendly's customer service only supports retail sales. For store complaints, visit the website. There is no customer service number on the website, just a form to send a message. Who knows if they'll ever get back to me? I'm so upset I figured if they won't refund my $14 bucks, if writing a review deters even one person from eating at this embarrassment of a restaurant chain, I'll take it. Disgusting food, and extremely poor customer service. If you want a burger, literally go to any other chain. I literally went to Wendy's next door after the ordeal, and ordered a better burger of similar size, with fresh properly cooked fries, for 8 bucks, a full 6 dollars less.

Fun ice cream from friendlys.

The food was good, the cook was accommodating. The waitstaff was inattentive. Overall an ok experience. It is a fast food environment after all. There were only 3 other tables in the whole restaurant that had customers. Frankly, I was surprised. Many places are pretty full now that things up and running again.

I love to stop here when I am in town since all of the Friendly's out where I live have closed, sadly. Last time I was here I had the stroganoff and the barking pretzel shortbread sundae which were very good. My salad today was delicious as well. Since we arrived at 10:55AM my dad was able to order breakfast while I was able to order lunch. Best of both worlds.

Food is good, but not many menu options. Service is great, waiters are super nice, and the building is really cool looking inside.

Cute location, basic diner grub…read more Came here on a whim. Running out of breakfast spots so need to scour further out. This place came up a decent distance away, so I made the trek. Sole server was hospitable. Lots of items were unavailable when I tried to inquire about them. Drinks were self-serve, but they did deliver food. I opted for the stuffed French toast and tried their home fries to see how they prepped them. Food came out with a little wait. Took my pics and dug in. The French toast, they did try but it was not the best. Cream cheese was as advertised, sweetened and smeared lightly between lightly dipped bread pieces which were grilled on a griddle. Lots of blueberries and a few sliced strawberries. And some powered sugar for decoration. Taste-wise was okay, but was way too bready and not enough seasoning. If I were to advise on how to fix this, make a cream cheese filling with the cool whip and cream cheese, and make it a substantial layer of filling. Macerate the strawberries, and soak the bread a bit longer so the custard can seep in. The home fries were lightly seasoned, cooked through but lacking flavor. I like my home fries to have a bit of a sear to them with crispy browned bits. I also like them to be seasoned a little heavier, or else all you get is a bland potato. Pricing was about 18.50. So not bad for the dishes I ordered. Portion was right, just the quality was lacking. As a little local diner, it fits the bill just fine. You can get eggs and omelettes and the space is nice. Just know it's very basic and you'll be just fine.

"And there's fire on the mountain Lightening in the air…read moreGold in them hills and it's waiting for me there" (Marshall Tucker Band) Fire On the Mountain has one of the most unique menus I've ever encountered. Seriously, where else have you ever seen breakfast quesadillas, catfish and grits, cheesecake cornbread waffles, smoked brisket hash, deep fried pork ribs, catfish, mushroom, and alligator tacos, and a Puerto Rican Rice Bowl all happily living in the same menu's neighborhood? And then, the icing on the cake was our server - a charismatic and uber-friendly gent named Bromwell who lights up the room with his personality. He made my list of the five greatest servers I interacted with this year. The restaurant's location is as unusual as its menu. You'll find it occupying the front space at the Suffield Commons Senior Living Apartments! Yup, as you walk through the restaurant and out their back door, you actually enter a common space for the housing complex. The restaurant itself has two dining rooms with booths, tables, and chairs and a bar with dining room chairs. That eclectic menu is chock full of breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices with Mexican and barbecue flairs. We were there for lunch and ordered two things. The first was an enormous Cheese Quesadilla ($9.35) with pork ($3.12) on a grilled flour tortilla served with sour cream and pico. It was a thing of beauty, cut into five thick wedges loaded with smoked pork. Our second item was a Caesar Salad (Half size for $6.23) with a side of smoked brisket ($9.36). I passed on the croutons and Caesar dressing in lieu of barbecue sauce as my dressing. I gotta tell you, the brisket was GREAT, a big serving of tender and juicy smoked beef cut into four slabs that must have totaled close to a half pound. We loved everything about Fire On the Mountain and agreed that we need to return for a proper breakfast when we are out that way or making a morning airport run. PRO TIP The restrooms are located in the housing complex's common space I described earlier/ Just exit the restaurant by the door in the rear dining room, and you're just about there.

The service was wonderful and attentive - all with a smile. Special shout out to Bramwell for going above and beyond. The colonial era home and quintessential New England village were the icing on the BBQ. We're not from the area, but when we are back this way, we are stopping in again for sure.

Right when we walked in, one of the women working at the front didn't seem very welcoming and came across as having a bit of an attitude. Thankfully, our server was really sweet and friendly, which made the experience much better. The restaurant itself was nice, and I liked that they have a patio area. I just wish it had been open because it looked like a great spot to sit. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The floor looked pretty dirty, and while we were still eating, an employee started sweeping right next to our table, which wasn't exactly pleasant. That being said, the food was good, our waitress was great, and I'd still give this location another chance. Hopefully next time the cleanliness and overall atmosphere are a little better.
