I like my boba to be actual tea plus milk and the only sweetness added comes from the boba. So, I was really grateful when I asked about swapping out the powdered milk for liquid milk. They swapped to lactaid, which is my preferred milk for milk tea. They also allowed me to adjust the sweetness and the ice level. I was still skeptical, given the unassuming store front. But they mixed real, actual, brewed tea with the lactaid. Their boba was the perfect size and consistency. I tried their black and jasmine teas and both were perfectly brewed. You'd be surprised at how often people get the jasmine tea wrong, but these guys checked all the boxes. Keep on being your authentic selves, guys!

This location has fudge, boba tea, smoothies, and candies. This location is next to Barnes & Noble and across from Woofgang. It's in a great location with lots of foot traffic. The place was very cute and minimalistic. There were some benches and tables. On one wall, there were a bunch of candies like pop rock, push pop, gum, etc. Over at the counters, you can see the fudge and various chocolates like chocolate covered Oreos and more. They also have smoothies and boba tea. The employee was very nice. I purchased some candies on this visit. I was looking for some milk chocolate fudge for a Christmas gift, but they didn't have it, only dark chocolate. The other fudge looked pretty good; I will try that next time I visit. Overall, I'm glad to see a shop like this over at this shopping center.

Located in the Shoppes at Farmington Valley in Canton (Across from Sur La Table), we happened to walk in on just their second day of business. The store looks as though it's been open for months. Everything is gorgeous to look at. There are bulk gummy candies and packaged candy boxes on the left wall, menu boards for the shakes, smoothies, bobas, bubble teas and fudge on the right wall. The center showcase has individual chocolates and fudge for you to order by the piece or by weight. We picked up two squares of fudge -an orange beauty that tasted like a Creamsicle, and a layered work of art with chocolate and nuts and toffee. Fudge is priced at $1.12/oz. They are a welcome addition to one of our favorite shopping centers and should do pretty well with their candies and fudge for the holidays. I imagine as the weather warms up in the spring, they'll do a great business with their shakes, smoothies, bobas, and bubble teas. Welcome to the Valley!

Our drinks quickly came out and were pretty tasty. The strawberries in my matcha had pieces of strawberry in the syrup and wasn't too overly sweet. Pretty refreshing! My fiancé's brown sugar was also on the less sweet side which I can appreciate. The boba wasn't the best, as it wasn't quite chewy.. our teeth just sank into them with not much to chew afterwards. Now, based on the yelp reviews, it doesn't seem like they change out the flavors of mochi donuts. There were probably around 8 different flavors. To my surprised, they were still so soft and fluffy!! The outside wasn't too crisp as it probably sat a bit, but they were not stale at all. We had some the day after as well, and they were still so so soft and fluffy! The flavors were pretty light and not too overpowering. I am just pretty satisfied with the texture of the donuts. Overall, the owner was so sweet and kind and offered great treats. However, I felt let down by the service experience at this restaurant. After we ordered and the pho came, the table looked strangely empty to me. As someone who frequently eats pho; I realized it was because the waitress never brought the bean spouts, leaves, and lemon/lime slices to put into our broth. I asked if this restaurant serves it and she looked at me strangely and said it was already in the pho. I thought it was so odd, so I explained that when I usually go out for pho in my home state of Hawaii, usually there is a separate small dish brought to the table with all of these items to put into the broth. The waitress then asked if I wanted it and I said yes. About ten minutes later, the waitress brought out a plate and she said that in Avon, most people don't want the sprouts. I wasn't sure if this was because I look like most of the people from Avon (Caucasian), even though I am just visiting. If anything, couldn't she have at least asked if we would like it? We enjoyed our pho and were happy to eat it how we usually do and we ate all our extra bean sprouts. The waitress never came back to ask how was the pho or refill our water. I had to request a copy of my receipt because she did not print one out for me. When I was trying to fill out the receipt/tip, the waitress was trying to have a full on conversation with me asking about the financial burden of living in Hawaii... the timing of this sudden chattiness was not good for me. There are over 350 franchised stores in the U.S. Their process is, picking the most quality tea leaves, brewing it at the correct temperature, and steeping it for the right amount of time. The tea leaves are from Taiwan and it's brewed every 3 hours; the boba is cooked every 2 hours. The strawberry lemonade and orange green tea are made from freshly squeezed juices. On this visit at the WeHa location, I was walking by and had to pop in. I ordered the small milk tea with grass jelly and normal sweetness. I loved everything about the drink. They had so many flavors to choose from, I was having analysis paralysis. There were signs to download the Kung Fu Tea app for discounts. There were plenty of seating and the place looked clean. The customer service was good. I look forward to going back to try out their other menu items.
