I love love love this smoothie shop! It is tucked away in between other shops in a really nice area. Head to the Canton plaza with Shop Rite and Barnes & Noble, and you're in the right place! There's usually ample parking, even when it looks crowded. I think a lot of people tend to park, pickup, and leave shortly after. Inside, it is clean and very inviting. Right now due to the pandemic, there isn't seating available, but whenever that goes away, I'm sure they will open up the cute counter seats where you can enjoy your smoothie and people watch! They do have a couple of chairs set up outside as the days get warmer. The menu is HUGE. You can also customize ANY smoothie with different milks, add-ins, fruit, boosters, etc. I love that about Emerald City Smoothie! The staff at this location is super nice and unbelievably fast! They definitely mastered their assembly line, and even when I order a complicated customized specialty, it comes out perfect. In case you're wondering, I highly recommend the Coconut Paradise smoothie without pineapple, add peanut butter, and change out for almond milk. It's delicious! *chef's kiss*

They've really gone downhill. Bowls taste like nothing because they've been so heavily diluted with ice.

They've gone down hill. Looks like they're trying to cut costs by just diluting everything with extreme amounts of ice.

They need to disclose all their ingredients in each item including syrups. I feel kinda upset it's more than what's on the board....

They sell various cannabis products; from flowers, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, topicals, tinctures, CBD, concentrates, and accessories. There were a wide variety of brands and selections. There is a small parking lot and the building used to be a bank. The place was spacious, clean, and organized. When I first walked in, there was a person at the counter who checked ID's. There were seats and a kiosk in a waiting area; you can order on the kiosk and then wait there. Once the items are ready, you're called into the next room to meet the budtender. They check your ID again and then you checkout with them. If you use a debit card, there will be a $4 charge; it's best to use cash or Dutchiepay which links to your bank account and there is no fee; they also accept Google pay and Apple pay. You can also pre-order on their website and pick-up. The people that worked there were friendly and knowledgeable. Check out their website for sales and coupons; currently new customers get discounts. Since this type of establishment is still new to the state of CT, the prices are higher compared to nearby states; this is beyond their control though, so I can't fault them for that. Overall, experience was 5 stars.

Good deals and very friendly service, and the drive thru is a huge plus as well! Would recommend.read more

I decided to come the West Hartford location to get mine, plus it was convenient and apparently this place never had a review. 2.) Background: This West Hartford location apparently has been opened for some years now. From afar it looked brand new. I guess do to all the renovation, they have made GNC and the stores in that little niche area to look very modern, so it definitely could give one that impression. This store is in the middle of Maximum Beverage and Sakura Japanese in Bishops Corner. 3.) Aesthetics: Once again this place looks pretty new and clean. The cardboard boxes in some areas gave it the impression that this was a new branch for them. Nice, well lighted, it just doesn't seem to gather much business. I was told that they get pretty good business there, and that today was the day they got about 50 customers. 4.) Service: Unlike the associate at the Simsbury location, the guy who worked here was very laid back. He wasn't corporate where he tried selling you products that you didn't need. Customers had questions and he was able to answer them in very great detail. That was a good thing to know - he knew his supplements. 5.) Prices: You can find pretty good deals here. I paid $25 on a large canister of Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Whey. 6.) Products: They have Whey, Hydrolyzed Whey, Soy, Egg and Casein Protein. They have supplements for men and women. If you know about GNC I shouldn't have to say anymore. It's a supplement store, like the Vitamin Shoppe. 6.) Impressions: If I ever run out of protein, I will come here.

I came in for some new protein powder and a shaker cup. I was quickly persuaded into the, "buy-one-get-one half-off," deal they were offering on most items. I ended up with 4 different jars of powder, (with the deal, I figured I might as well stock up and save $ in the long run, right?... wrong.) After ringing up at the counter I found out that the total was nearly $300, if it hadn't exceeded that number already. A little more persuading conversation, and the next thing I know I'm agreeing to sign up for the GNC PRO membership-- only because I was told that it would offer more savings on my current purchase, and provide $40 worth of points on my account for the future, (basically an entire jar of powder,) so, why not. So, after spending $40-$50 EXTRA to sign up for the GNC PRO membership, and being told, "it basically pays for itself if you sign-up now because of the points you'll receive from your purchase," I still have a total of $260+, whatever, at least I have a free jar of powder to look forward to. What I wasn't informed of is those points on my account worth $40 will expire, exactly one month from my purchase. That seems like something important to explain to a new sign-up, but I guess not. I also didn't get my PRO-member monthly mystery-box, which conveniently, GNC did away with the same time I sign up. So, no 'free' goodies for me, just more, "exclusive member discounts." The store worker did right by me and offered me some freebies, but GNC as a corporation are just sleezy and should be avoided. Personally, I don't know any normal gym-goer who's going to use 4 entire jars of powder in a single month, but apparently GNC thinks a lot of people will-- because even after speaking with the GNC support number about my lost points and un-received box, I was told the best they can do for me now is a measly 150 points credited to my pro account, equal to roughly $5. Keep it. And don't expect to get another dollar from me. Find a small business and support them, GNC doesn't deserve your money.
