This morning I drove to Liquid Nirvana of Avon. When I arrived I realized this is where one of my very first Yelp events was, around four years ago. It was 100 degrees out today, what's better then a refreshing açaí bowl? The menu at Liquid Nirvana is extensive, and everywhere you turn there are additional menu items. In addition to açaí bowls, there are juices, smoothies, salads and wraps available. I got the Tropical Paradise Açaí Bowl. The base is made of açaí, almond milk, pineapple, mango, banana and blueberries. It was topped with granola, pineapple, banana, coconut and honey. This was so fresh! I could hear the blender running as the girl, blended everything for me. There's no freezer burn here. It was cold, fresh, and so delicious! I also think $11.00 is a great value. I once paid $17 for an açaí bowl on my travels somewhere, the portion was tiny and it was far from fresh. Liquid Nirvana offers delicious, fresh, high quality products from a large assortment of organic fruits and vegetables. read more

First time going and won't be the last! Walking in the place was very clean and welcoming. Staff was friendly and greeted me. The menu was overwhelming (in a good way), there were so many options, I wanted to try them all! I had the Coconut Nirvana and a grilled cheese. "I am thirty-two flavors and then some" (Ani DiFranco) I'd say 32 flavors is an understatement. A quick look at their website told me Liquid Nirvana has 21 Smoothies, 9 juices, 14 Shakes, 17 Acai Bowls. Plus countless more custom variations including different protein whey and granola options. When you walk inside you'll be greeted by a huge colorful menu board broken down into groupings - Juices, Nirvana Naturals, Nirvana Boosts, Nirvana Blends, Acai Bowls, Smoothie Bowls -all broken down by three sized prices and calorie counts. It's quite an impressive list of choices and decisions !. We went for a PB&J Acai Bowl ($9.50) that was fantastic -so much peanut flavor, banana and strawberry slices, and natural sweetness. It was excellent and truth be told, a pretty big portion that will be split into 2 feedings. If clean, healthy, no sugar added frozen yumminess appeals to you, you'd be hard pressed to find a more enjoyable place. read more

Liquid Nirvana always delivers! I'm not big on smoothies but I love a good juice. And the options here are endless. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by a friendly staff. And menu options posted on large boards that are easy to read. If you want something changed in the ingredients or made to your liking , they will do so without hesitancy. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and always has great recommendations. The shop is small but provides a cozy spot with some games to enjoy, while you wait for your order or just want to hang out. We had such a pleasant experience at Liquid Nirvana! Everything was so fresh and tasted amazing!! I was so obsessed with the Nutty Nirvana smoothie, which had flavors of peanut butter, banana, honey, and chocolate. They were really generous with the toppings on all of the smoothie bowls. The menu boards were bright and designed so beautifully, and we thought it was cool that they included the calories on all of their items. They even had a variety of games and toys there, so you could hang out and enjoy yourself here for a while! Everyone was very friendly and inviting. I would absolutely come back! read more

I tried the nirvana açaí bowl and it has potential to be really good, but it's way too watery. I think the problem is they start with açaí juice instead of frozen açaí so it's difficult to get that soft sorbet-like texture. I like how they have different granola to pick from, and that they don't use juice in the mix then up charge for almond milk or similar. Cute place, just not quite the right consistency for me to order it again. Maybe smoothies are better but I haven't tried! read more

This is my go-to spot for acai bowls. I've tried all of their acai bowls and have never been disappointed. Two of my favorites are the Protein Bowl and the PJ+J Bowl. As soon as you take one bite, you can tell they use high-quality ingredients and that everything is made from scratch because everything is so delicious. Also, their acai bowls are a work of art (see pics) -- thoughtfully crafted with attention given to every little detail. So, yes, you will have to wait a few minutes for them to make it, but it's 100% worth it! Of course, you can always order ahead by calling in or using their website if you're in a rush. As for the customer service, the people working behind the counter are super friendly and knowledgeable. This place is very popular and gets busy at times, so patience is key. As for COVID precautions, masks are required at all times when you're inside. read more

I really enjoy this place. Everything is fresh and so tasty. My favorites are the elixir of life(apple, pineapple, peach, kale, spinach, protein) it's so refreshing and flavorful. The açaí protein bowl is a great, light lunch option. very filling and satisfying. I'd give 5 stars but every time it's a lengthy wait, even if I call ahead. I used to come to liquid nirvana a lot. I like their options a lot better than some of the other places but my recent experiences have not been great. I think the quality of what you get is dependent on who makes it and today my bowl was literal soup. It was thinner than the smoothies. I'm not sure if maybe it melted by the time it got to me and that why? Which could totally be the case because it took much longer than usual. I knew it was gonna be thing when she handed the bowl to me because as she did it sloshed around, but when I actually opened it to eat it it was sliced fruit floating on top of soup. Definitely was not what a bowl should be in texture. Even the smoothies I've had there were thicker than what this was. Still tasted great but huge disappointment. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT GO HERE. I waited 45 minutes for ONE smoothie order in the store along with 10 other customers waiting roughly the same time for their orders. They have two disorganized workers making smoothies for in store walk-in orders, taking online orders and call ins all at the same time and cannot time manage everything on time. I checked this place out yesterday, and I was really pleasantly surprised! I ordered the peanut butter banana smoothie (I forget the name of it), and asked about how many calories it was to add chocolate protein powder. The girl at the front desk surprised me with get fast recall of how many it would be (she said 30), and then asked if I would like to soon whole milk, which is 180 calories for almond milk, which is 35 calories. She was super knowledgeable, and that impressed me! This was perfect for what I needed: a low calorie drink that held me over until dinnertime. Only down side to this place is that it was really expensive. A medium sized smoothie was almost $8 (think the size of a grande at Starbucks). But this was certainly a treat, and I'd love to try more things out next time. They had some paninis on the menu that looked appetizing! read more

Finally got motivated to check this place out (I'm not really a smoothie person) and liked it a lot. The space itself is nice...bright, comfortable and welcoming. And the smoothie I had was great...coconut something or other. It probably had 1,000 calories, but I felt healthy after drinking it, anyway. Only knock is that it was pretty expensive ($8), but I'll chalk that up to fresh, expensive produce and rising milk prices, I guess. The smoothies are never consistent in texture or flavor and they clearly don't refrigerate their produce. The last three times I've gotten a juice it's been warm... yuck. I've visited this place a lot in the past, and much less frequently recently- but I've been a customer since they first opened. I have to say that service quality has fluctuated throughout their existence. Recent experiences really made me want to speak up (i.e. mold on the fruit in my açaí bowl). One of the biggest things that bothers me is there is no online menu- not even on their facebook. I understand wanting to have your own brand and not wanting others to steal your ideas, but they are smoothies- you can get basic recipes off of Google or Pinterest. I find it ridiculous that there is no way to know what you want ahead of time without ordering the same thing over and over- which doesn't allow a person to appreciate all the things you as a business took time to create. If I call on my way to work and want something different, I need the employee to read the menu to me, and that's not fair for anyone. What's more, you're not allowed to take a picture of the menu for the sake of keeping recipes a secret- but the items listed under the products are just the names of the ingredients. I can make a strawberry banana smoothie at home regardless of if I have a picture of your menu or not... Also, their "reward" system is not worth it. If you visit 10 times (keep in mind a basic smoothie is around $8) you get $5 off your next visit.... So I'm spending $80 at least to not even get something free for being a loyal customer? The kids that work there work really hard, often they'll have a line and the phone will be going off the hook and they're busting their butts making sure that people get what they ordered in a timely fashion. However, depending on who makes what you order, it can taste completely different on a day-to-day. I don't know if it's because they're always busy, but maybe there's a lack of menu specificity- if you're not going to share the menu with the customer, at least share it with the employees so there's consistency. It just doesn't seem like the owner cares about the customers or the employees all that much. read more

The juices are delicious and fresh. I work for a large company and often pick up coffees for my team. One day I decided to stop in and get juices. For some reason there is no menu online and you're not allowed to take pictures of the posted menu. So I had to call and read the menu to everyone who wanted to order. If the point is to not copy the recipes, what a joke! The menu includes the types of ingredients not the amounts. And there are numerous free recipes online. Without a posted menu online I will not be returning to place a large order again. As an addendum, the owner reached out to me to inform me that I am allowed to take a picture of their menu and paper menus will soon be available. I will increase my rating to 4 stars because the juices are amazingly delicious. Once I receive a paper copy of the menu and am easily able to place larger orders for work I will likely change my rating to 5! I ordered several smoothies with my coworkers via UberEats. When they arrived, only 4 of the 5 items ordered were there. I called the store to let them know, I was told that"All of the drinks were made, so if we don't have them all there's really nothing I can do, you should take it up with UberEats". Of course, I have already reached out to UberEats to process a refund, but I was appalled at how rude and short the woman I spoke with at Liquid Nirvana was. I work less than a mile from the location, and happily would have left work to pick up the missing drink had she handled the situation with a little more respect. This place is convenient and the staff are friendly. The problem is that their juice sucks. Joe makes really good juices, the majority of the other workers will give you a really crappy cucumber/celery mix. This poor quality seems to actually be encouraged by the owner. I say that as the last time I went, I purchased 4 green nirvanas ($40) and I received 4 juices that were just as bad. When I immediately complained to the owner she said "oh that's normal separation you just need to stir it". I have been juicing for about 8 years, I know what is normal separation (which comes with time) and what is 'watered down' by cucumber and celery. This second photo was taken 2 minutes later for an even cleared picture of the poor quality. This seems to happen EVERY time, except for when Joe physically makes the juice. Liquid Nirvana has an opportunity to provide HEALTH to the community and instead they are providing this low quality high priced excuse for a vegetable water. read more
