The bowl didn't even come with everything it was suppose to and it was price adjusted for some reason when we didn't change or request anything. We got a jerk bowl, it was okay there wasn't much rice or cabbage in the bowl for a large. We also got porridge and I'm not a big fan and my boyfriend loves porridge and it just wasn't it. We've tried on different occasions and I just don't think I'm a fan personally but you should still give it a try for your own opinion.

This has to be one of my favorite spots in Waterbury. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that…read moreI've visited this restaurant more than two dozen times. The staff here is always incredibly kind and they give amazing portions. They recently redesigned the seating area and have new chairs and tables, very stylish. I love getting the Chicken Gone Wild or Land and Sea. Although the sauce goes well with it, I tend to replace it with the Poke Sauce. Ever since trying it, it's one of my favorite sauces there. My usual is the Chicken Gone Wild bowl with white rice, mixed greens, without the seaweed and tend to add different vegetables in there. I've tried most of the boba there as well, one of my favorites is the Taro Bubble Tea, it reminds me of cereal milk if I had to compare it to something. Others I like are the Strawberry and Mango Bubble Tea, either boba or fruit jelly tastes good with it. This will always be a place I'll catch myself getting addicted to stopping by every now and then. I love feeling great after my meal because it contains both greens and protein. Love this place and is a great addition to Waterbury!

I ordered my açaí bowl it was just right and hit that hunger spot. My son ordered the beef patty and lentil soup he loved it. He washed it down with a mango soursop smoothie. He texted his wife that it was so good, now she wanted two beef patties lol. I brought some rose water. And my son got 2 jerk chickens sauce. All in all I had a pleasant experience and Patrice was awesome nothing but good energy. Oh did I tell you she gave a us a sample shot of the peanut punch smoothie. It was delicious and refreshing. I will definitely patronize Naturaw Smoothie when I visit CT. I highly recommend you guys to try it as well. Run don't walk there lol. I had to check this place out after seeing their viral fruit pastries on TikTok. I asked the woman…read moreat the counter how long they've been open--she said three years--and the line was nearly out the door, so they're clearly doing well. That said, the experience was pretty confusing. There were photos of drinks on the wall but no pricing. The only thing I noticed with pricing was a Dubai chocolate drink listed for $30! They didn't have the fruit pastry flavors listed inside; we only noticed them posted outside on the window after we had already ordered, and the flavors online didn't exactly match what was in-store. The biggest shock was the price. The fruit pastries were $12-$15 each, which felt excessive. I've been to plenty of high-end spots for dessert, and this was easily the most expensive I've paid. When I asked about the pricing, I was told everything is made in-house--which I would expect at that price point anyway. I ended up getting the piña colada and mango fruit pastries, along with a passionfruit lemonade that was also $12. Everything tasted good and fresh, but quite sweet and, in my opinion, overpriced--especially for Meriden, CT. Overall, tasty, but not something I'd go back for given the cost and lack of clarity in the ordering experience.

First, a quick tip: their winter hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 12 PM-7 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. The menu is full of creative fruit drinks, pastries, and trendy desserts. They have flavors like strawberry, mango, passionfruit, piña colada, and even Dubai-style desserts that you see all over social media. On my visit I ordered three items: * Boba Strawberry Passionfruit Lemonade * Coconut Passionfruit Frappe * Dubai Sundae The coconut passionfruit frappe had the perfect consistency; smooth, creamy, and refreshing. The coconut and passionfruit flavors balanced each other perfectly and tasted very tropical. The boba strawberry passionfruit lemonade was also packed with flavor. It had fresh strawberry pieces, lemon slices, and passionfruit pulp. Just be careful of the lemon seeds. It even had a fun little surprise on top; a candy shark and what looked like Nerds candy, which made it extra playful. Inside, the shop gives off tropical island vibes. It's a small space but there is seating available. Today Friday the 13th, there were only two people ahead of me, music playing in the background, and a TV on. The wait wasn't long and the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the three items I spent about $45, but considering the fresh ingredients, presentation, and portion sizes, I would say the price is reasonable. If you enjoy colorful drinks, tropical flavors, and viral-style desserts, Paradise Frappe is definitely worth checking out.
