The suit was for our sons wedding. We walk in to the store and it's packed. We realize it's prom season and I think oh no this is gonna take forever and we are not gonna get the service we should.... Well that was not the case. The employees we professional, kind and my husband was measured and fitted. The day of the wedding our older son was the best man, he went to another place ( I won't name but it's very close lol) he was not measured and fitted at this other place and his pants were too long, too big and he spent an hour trying to see what they could do for him but there was nothing. I know he should of tried it on at pick up but he's a guy and most guys don't bother. My husband suit fit perfectly! I would recommend Friars every time! read more

When we arrived it was busy so we stepped out to have lunch and went back in and was greeted immediately and took time to help my son pick what he was looking for. Don't even bother going anywhere else! My fiance and I walked in today to find out what our options were for suit rentals. We have a large party and figured we would need to shop around with companies. But Brett made everything sooo easy! He explained styles and options and got my fiance the exact style he wanted. I'm not sure how Friar's pricing compares to its competitors. That said, I had a very positive experience with the store. I was one of several groomsmen for a wedding, and we had quite a lot of questions to ask to ensure that everything went according to plan. The employee that handled our order, Scott, went out of his way to be attentive and helpful. He answered questions about cuffs, sizing, and more which helped us make some last minute decisions. I got a handsome unique sharpe tux for my wedding, for me and my groomsmen. They were very easy to work with and have locations all over to make it easy on travelers. Even when I mistakenly called their cell phone they were friendly and wanting to help. Received several phone calls to make sure all of the info was in on time and accurate. I needed to rent a suit for my father's 70th birthday. I had decided to rent instead of buy. I have been to other Friar Tux Shops, but this was my first time at this location. The service was absolutely Best In Class. Both for the initial sizing/selection and fitting/pick-up the service was amazing. There were at least three people in the front, so in both instances I didn't wait. On the pickup, I had two children with me (2 & 4) and they were very friendly toward them as well. The team was very polite, and incredibly attentive. They treat everyone like a VIP. I was very pleased with my suit. The measurements were taken accurately and it fit well. Also, they offer discounts for military, police and fire fighters. It was nice to get a discount, and more importantly it was great to see that companies still support people who risk their lives for others. If you do rent/buy from them be sure to take advantage of your rewards points which can be applied to a future transaction. I can't provide feedback on the price because I don't rent suits often enough to review that part of the transaction. Some parts are a-la-carte, so for instance if you have nice shoes or don't need the vest then you can skip that. My transaction was for a suit, with vest, bow tie, and shoes. My total seemed very reasonable to me. Considering how wonderful they were and how happy I am with my suit, I plan to give them my future business. read more

Let me just start off by saying WOW!! The suits are amazing and the service is beyond incredible!! My husband and I planned most of our wedding from abroad, even though we were both locals. Well after many reviews we decided to go with an online rental company, but they didn't have the matching pocket square and ties that I wanted to match with the bridesmaids dresses. My girls got their dresses from alfred angelo and I called in to see if they have matching accessories for the groomsmen, and I was referred to friar tux. The reason we were so keen on staying with the online company was because the groomsmen were all over the country, so we just thought that it would be easier. We walk in and Scott, the assistant manager, immediately made us feel so welcome and important. We told him that we already went with another company for the suits and we just wanted the matching accessories and he was so professional. Well.. it took us about 5 minutes to have all of our groomsmen cancel their online ordered and get their tuxes from here because we realized that not only were the deals better, but they got to keep their suits! The entire bridal party saw how purchasing the suit cost them the same as renting it from the online company, so they all decided on the retail suits. These suits looked amazing on the groomsmen, they looked processionally tailored to each person. We actually ended up having both our fathers purchase their suits from friar tux as well as other relatives that live in town. We ended up with the suits and rented the accessories and returned them within a couple of days within the wedding. The guys got their pants hemmed and it only took them about 15 mins, which was really great. So we got married on a Sunday, and we went to pick up the suits that Saturday because all the groomsmen were in town... and there was a blackout. I, being the bride, started to freak out, but the guys at the shop were able to calm me down and they went above and beyond to call other stores to processes all the suits and rentals to our guys. It was a little hiccup but they truly took care of us. If you're looking for amazing suits that are really comfortable and are fitted well and really nice accessories, and phenomenal service, there is no other place to go. read more

This place needs a major upgrade in their try on samples! I was completely appalled at their lack of cleanliness and overall non existent concern for the state of their apparel. I went in to try on a tuxedo and I could not have been more disappointed. The shirts they gave me to try on for size were filthy, they were drenched in bo and cologne . When I mentioned this to the girl she said these are just for try on, as if they are not meant to be clean? The shirts had missing buttons and the shoes I tried on were missing shoelaces and instead were replaced with a string. If the size samples are any indication of their final product I don't know how this place can stay in business. Not a good first impression . read more

Sorry to say, but had the worst possible experience at this shop this week. Arriving to pick up my suit, it was very much the wrong size--way, way, way off. You could see my socks and the pants would have fallen down. They were unable to provide any alternative and left me high and dry an hour before my event. I had to go to a nearby clothing store and buy and tailor a suit on the spot, which caused me to be an hour late, never mind the expense. At the clothing store, I saw another group I had just seen at the friar tux--they had also come to this clothing because they felt they weren't being helped at friar tux (it was funny and I needed the laugh). I have used this friar tux once before and was satisfied, but but from my experience, it's hit or miss. If you really need it right the first time, my advice would now be don't risk it here. read more
