Beyond thrilled with the service I received here!! I was recently a groomsmen in a wedding, and the groom had us purchase our suits. They have a very generous military discount (and 10% off if you check in on Yelp) the first time I came for my fitting they were PACKED about 12 people with 2 working. I was helped by Scott who took my measurements while other customers he was helping were trying things on. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I came back a few days later to find out he ordered me two suits because he thought I might like the fit of a different one that was very similar (he was absolutely right) Calvin helped me out with the fitting, he is a character and great at his job, he pressed my shirt, hemmed my pants all in a timely manner. Sorry to say, but had the worst possible experience at this shop this week. Arriving to pick up my suit, it was very much the wrong size--way, way, way off. You could see my socks and the pants would have fallen down. They were unable to provide any alternative and left me high and dry an hour before my event. I had to go to a nearby clothing store and buy and tailor a suit on the spot, which caused me to be an hour late, never mind the expense. At the clothing store, I saw another group I had just seen at the friar tux--they had also come to this clothing because they felt they weren't being helped at friar tux (it was funny and I needed the laugh). I have used this friar tux once before and was satisfied, but but from my experience, it's hit or miss. If you really need it right the first time, my advice would now be don't risk it here. read more

This location is absolutely amazing. We needed 6 suits: 4 groomsmen and the 2 fathers. First, they had the discount of rent 5 suits and get one free (traditionally used for the groom). My husband is in the military and wore his dress uniform, so they took the discount from the free suit and split it among the 6 men. AND they added another promotional discount on top of that! They had a great selection of colors and had exactly what we wanted. Especially because one of our colors was wine (which is NOT the same as burgundy lol) and they had the exact match! It's the little things like that which makes for a great experience. One of our groomsmen was in the military too, and didn't even step foot into the shop until 3 days before the wedding due to deployment. He still got everything he needed, and I know it's probably a feature of tux shops everywhere to work to the last second, but that just helped to reduce a lot of stress. We had a few hiccups just with tie colors and such but they were due to faults on our side, and the shop was swift in helping us to make corrections. I also want to give a shout out to (I think his name was) Brett Symonds! He was energetic, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. His customer service was great and he handled our chaos very well lol. The other employees were also great, and we have no issues to report. If you're in Temecula this is just the place to go (for prom too, as this is where my husband got his tuxes when we were in high school!!), and if we ever need a suit again we'll definitely be back! :) read more

Last minute tux/suit rentals for two boys. Got them fitted and colors picked within an hour. Came back a few days later for pickup, waited for 20 mins, could have been longer, but it wasn't. I need to give a big shout out to Scott & Heather at Friar Tux in Temecula! I am already a huge fan of their store after being assisted by Scott in the past. He helped us rent suits when my husband and I had weddings to attend as well as picking out all of the suits for our wedding. I am a wedding coordinator at a local venue and when the groom forgot his bow tie and didn't notice until about 2 hours prior to the ceremony, I called Friar Tux hoping they would be able to let me borrow one for a few hours. I called and spoke to Heather and without hesitation she said they had one in store that I could use. I sent someone to pick it up for me and they were raving about how nice Heather and Scott were at the time of pick-up with a store full of other parties renting suits. All of their 5 star reviews are well deserved. These guys and girls are pros, fit you right and have reasonable prices. They are always flexible for me when I want to return a few days later (you have to call and ask) or you can return at any of their other locations. I found Friar Tux Shop after being told by Men's Wearhouse that since I needed a suit rental in a week that there will be $50 extra charge and was being charged over $250 for a suit rental. This place has fantastic service and a great selection. Do not go to Men's Wearhouse this place has better prices and have much better customer service. read more

The staff at Friar Tux made our rental experience wonderful. We had one member of our party who lived away from Temecula and he was able to visit a sister store near his home and his measurements were sent to the Temecula store. It was a no hassle process. The suits came in early and the tiny alterations needed were quickly made. The suits were also great quality and the entire wedding party looked extremely well dressed. If I could give more stars I would! This place has been a God-send not only once, but twice! The first time we(my husband) used them was for a wedding we were traveling to. He got measured at a place where we lived and sent the measurements to Friar Tux. This is the first time my husband had been meassured since he was an adult and I had know idea on what the measurements should be so we went with it. Turns out the pants barely buttoned and the shirt didn't button at all. Brett called up their other store and found a size that fit perfectly and got it shipped over within a day. The second time was just recently for my husband's grandma's funeral. I wanted to buy a pair of slacks and Brett said they don't come hemmed, but I'll do it for you and send it out by the next day. They have been more than helpful when they didn't have to be. I wish we had a Friar Tux where we lived because I would use them for all of my suit and tuxedo needs. I've only been to this place twice, both times were great experiences! Staff was very helpful and patient, they go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable with what you are wearing. The second time i came here it was during prom season. The wait was pretty long, my fault I would of been there 15 min before they opened if I would of known. Even with a high volume of people in the shop at once, the staff still kept their cool and knocked everybody out 1-by-1 in a calm and professional manner. This place is really small but they are so accommodating and patient. Walked in on a busy Sunday afternoon with 6 guys wanting to get fitted for my wedding. The whole process took about an hour and a half but they were attentive and helpful the whole time. Scott was such a huge help and stayed on top of everything. Me and my husband had ordered his and all of our groomsmen tux in January for our wedding in March. Everything went great. Up until 2 days before our wedding, when they had schedule my husband and his groomsmen to go pick up their tux's. We asked them if it was possible to have an earlier pick up date just in case something was to happen. We were told that two days is enough time to fix things. Come to find out, they had ordered the wrong size for my husband. And was told they won't be able to get another shirt until 4 pm the day of the wedding. Our wedding took place at 6 pm. Because of their mistake we only had 1 hour to take pictures, we lost 4 hours of photo time with the bridal party, groomsmen, family and our 1st look picture. We rushed though all of our photos. Two days isn't enough time to "fix" things. Their is noway we would be able to get those hours we lost and makeup for all the lost pictures we could of taken with our family and friends. With all the tux that we orders my husband tux was free thanks. You guys could of refunded some of our money that we paid for the other suits or offered to go get the shirt instead of waiting for the delivery guy to drop it off two hours before our wedding THANKS for nothing. read more

As a first time customer at Friars Tux Shop I honestly had to say that they're very welcoming. They have nice displays of tuxedos, employees are extremely patient, friendly, and helpful. Cesar Flores, who happened to be a friend of mine (graduated CO15) from school works at the Friars Tux Shop. He is very cooperative, works in harmony with others, and adds to a positive environment. He welcomes new ideas when it comes to looking for right and/or certain color/piece for a tuxedo, gets the job done, and is highly organized. If I could give this shop no stars I would. My fiancé and I are getting married in one month. We went to friar tux temecula months in advance to purchase 5 suits instead of rent. On our first visit it was great. Got my fiancé fitted, suit picked and paid. When he went to pick up his suit they had the completely wrong color suit. The next visit to fix this they had the wrong size. It took him 4 visits to get the suit right taking almost a month. We then went to get groomsmen suits. 2 of them were sized wrong multiple times, hemmed wrong and it took over a month to have corrected. After realizing this shop has major issues we decided to have the other 2 suits sent up to Montclair location so they didn't have to drive down there more than likely 4 times. I spoke with multiple sales people who informed me that the suits had been sent up to Montclair. Today my other 2 groomsmen went to Montclair to get their suits. They were never even sent. Needless to say I am very disappointed in friar tux temecula and will not be going back EVER. They have made the suits the most stressful part of our wedding. read more
