I don't want to leave a bad review but I also wasn't pleased with the service. My son and I walked in to look into renting a tux. We've never done this before and have never visited this store. Yes, the worker said hi as we walked in and asked what we needed. I give points for that. As we responded trying to take it all in (looking at the facility) he kept asking us to repeat ourselves. Mind you, he sat on a stool near the register the entire time. He never took the time to come approach us...just spoke loud to ask us questions and expected us to yell back. Not sure if he was tired and didn't want to bother with us? He pointed to the area we can browse...again, never getting off of the stool. Then, he and another co-worker proceeded to laugh and talk. My son and I didn't feel wanted and didn't feel comfortable so we left. Kind of disappointed because I read all the great reviews. I guess we just came at the wrong time. **UPDATE**: Their office reached out to help rectify the situation. We truly appreciate them taking time to make this better. Although we already found another place to rent for prom, we won't cross this business off the list in the future. read more

Malcolm & Cameron were professional, caring, skilled and their service was excellent. We got to tell our meet cute story. The selection of suits no longer includes cumberbunds, ruffles, or tails. I'm half laughing and half revealing my age here, but you never know when those things might come back in style. Apparently vests and matching socks are all one needs. The price was reasonable considering it included a before and after fitting, a pick up and return. Definitely will include a photograph in a few months when we get them back from the portrait studio. My transaction was located and I was helped with perfect attention to all details. My questions were answered satisfactorily. Had a friend used Friar Tux for his wedding for himself and the groomsmen and I have to see I am impressed! The whole experience was simple and made it really easy for everyone to coordinate for the big day. It's great that the bridal party can visit any Friar Tux location to get fitted. It made getting the clothes super easy, especially I if your party does not all live local. The groom chose a classic black tux and I have to say I was really surprised how well fitted the suit was. I am pretty stocky with a slim waist, so off the rack suits do not typically fit me very well. Although not perfect, the tux fit well and looked great for the photos. The tux the groom chose had a more modern slim fit, which I think looked great and kept us from looking a bit dated, which many other rental places may have more of a "classic" fit. I'm not being dramatic when I say words cannot express how amazing of an experience I had when I went to this friar tux location because of the service that Kyra provided! She went above and beyond in every way imaginable to help out my friend and I to get everything setup for his wedding day. She went out of her way to find every possible option and solution to make sure he got exactly what he was looking for. I just wanted to make sure I say a few things about this establishment. The staff is very helpful and most importantly kind which is hard to find these days. I needed to do a last minute rental for an event for my boys and they were the only ones who seemed to have reasonable pricing for a spur of the moment order. Unfortunately after my event I had an accident that left me unable to walk for weeks. The staff was super accommodating and didn't pressure me about the rental return. When I finally was up and moving again I went by to return everything they went one step further and waived my late charges which was much appreciated. I would never recommend Friar Tux to anyone. We ordered our suits back in June of 2021 for our Wedding on October 9, 2021. We were extremely disappointed we had to pick them up the WEEK OF THE WEDDING. Then when they got them the fit of 4 out of the 6 suits was totally wrong. This added SO much unnecessary stress the week of our wedding. For the next couple days we had to completely cater to the shop's hours and when the new suits would be delivered. Finally on Thursday before the wedding we worked it out to pick up the last suit out of the six... where I was then informed the van "didn't show up that day". I was livid. We then had to again cater to the shops times the DAY before our wedding and hope that the suit fit. This situation was the only thing that was stressful about our wedding. We left extremely disappointed and will never use this company again. read more

We were there on a Saturday 3 /18 and Keithen was the only one working that day .When we walked in we had about 7 people ahead of us and we got there about 3:45pm.Keep in mind they close at 5 pm .I have to say he took care of all his clients with a smile and answered all of our questions in a very polite manner .Now if that were me I would have been so stressed out .But not him ( as far as he didn't show it anyway).100% Excellent customer service .Great job Keithen we need more of you in customer service ! read more

I wish I could remember the name of the employee that was extremely helpful in doing anything he could to help me and my wedding party get their suits. He was awesome and helpful despite my difficult situation of having a member of my party come from Wyoming the day before the wedding. He didn't show one ounce of frustration with that or with the fact that we canceled our event my due to myself getting COVID.
